In less than three weeks, wheat could disappear from store shelves, suggested a food insecurity expert to the United Nations.

Sara Menker, the CEO of agriculture analytics firm Gro Intelligence, told the UN Security Council that before the end of summer, the world’s wheat supplies could dry up – and that the Russia-Ukraine conflict is not necessarily to blame.

Despite it being an easy scapegoat for Western governments and the media, the war has “simply added fuel to a fire that was long burning.” In other words, the global food supply, at least as far as wheat goes, was already in tatters long before Vladimir Putin decided to make his move.

Together, Ukraine and Russia produce nearly one-third of the world’s wheat exports. Ukraine specifically is considered to be the “breadbasket” of Europe, and right now because of the war, it is no longer exporting crops, cooking oils, or other commodities.

The longer the war goes on, the longer exports from these two countries will be halted. This spells disaster for North Africa, which imports most of its wheat and other crops from Ukraine and Russia via Black Sea ports, which also remain shuttered.

Bad weather, including extreme drought and flooding, has been chipping away at the global food supply for years

The United States is of course blaming Russia for all of this. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken claims that Russia is holding food “hostage” and using its protectionist measures as a weapon to starve the world.

“The Russian government seems to think that using food as a weapon will help accomplish what its invasion has not – to break the spirit of the Ukrainian people,” Blinken is quoted as saying.

Keep in mind that the U.S. and NATO are the ones that imposed major economic sanctions against Russia, along with the pull-out of major corporations such as McDonald’s, Sephora, and IKEA, among many others from Russian territory.

In response, Russia told countries that want its oil and gas resources that they would need to start paying for them in rubles. Russia also cut off exports of key food crops in order to maintain supplies for its own citizens amid the crisis.

The real problem according to Menker is that droughts and other extreme weather events have been eroding the global food supply for years. The situation was only exacerbated by the engineered Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) plandemic followed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. (Related: Extreme drought conditions in India have led to export bans there as well.)

“We currently only have 10 weeks of global consumption sitting in inventory around the world,” Menker says. “Conditions today are worse than those experienced in 2007 and 2008.”

Estimates from official government agencies all around the world suggest that current wheat inventories are hovering around 33 percent of annual consumption. Models created by Gro Intelligence, however, suggest that the true figure is more like 20 percent, a level not seen since 2007 and 2008.

“It is important to note that the lowest grain inventory levels the world has ever seen are now occurring while access to fertilizers is highly constrained,” Menker adds.

“And drought in wheat-growing regions around the world is the most extreme it’s been in over 20 years. Similar inventory concerns also apply to corn and other grains.”

Conditions are only expected to worsen in the coming months, so brace yourselves. It will hit the third world the hardest at first, but the West is not immune to what is coming, which is already in motion and accelerating at an exponential rate with each passing day.

Why are so many strange diseases suddenly breaking out all over the globe?  In all my days, I have never seen anything like this.  COVID, bird flu and monkeypox are all making headlines around the world, but of course they aren’t the only pestilences that we are currently dealing with.  As I mentioned a few days ago, the Democratic Republic of Congo is actually facing outbreaks of ebola, cholera, measles, monkeypox, bubonic plague and typhoid all at the same time!  Can you imagine what health authorities in that nation must be going through right now?  A few years ago most of us never gave much thought to disease outbreaks, but now they are seemingly everywhere.

Unfortunately, we have a new one to add to the list.

According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, two mosquito pools in southern Georgia have tested positive for a disease known as “Eastern equine encephalitis”…

Health officials say two mosquito pools in South Georgia have tested positive for Eastern equine encephalitis.

EEE is a virus that is spread to people through the bite of an infected mosquito. Only a few cases are reported in the United States each year.

The name of the disease may not sound that threatening, but it is actually extremely deadly.

WSB-TV says that the death rate for Eastern equine encephalitis in humans is approximately 30 percent…

Although rare, EEE is very serious. Approximately 30% of people with EEE die and many survivors have ongoing neurological problems.

There are no vaccines to prevent EEE or medicines to treat it.

When I first read that, I was stunned.

The death rate for COVID is well under 1 percent, and so a disease with a death rate of 30 percent could be a real nightmare.

I had to confirm that number, and so I went to the official CDC website, and this is what I found…

• Approximately a third of all people with encephalitis due to EEE die. Death usually occurs 2 to 10 days after onset of symptoms but can occur much later.
• Many people who recover are left with long-term physical or mental impairments, which can range from mild brain dysfunction to severe intellectual impairment, personality disorders, seizures, paralysis, and cranial nerve dysfunction.
• People with severe impairments often require long-term care and die within a few years.

Since there is no cure and no vaccine, if you get this disease there is a very real chance that you are going to die.

So how are people supposed to protect themselves?

Well, essentially you want to avoid getting bitten by a mosquito that has it.

That is literally the best advice that the CDC has for us.

If you live in one of the southern states, you will want to monitor this disease very closely.  Hopefully it won’t become a major threat, but if it does you will want to do what is necessary to protect yourself and your family.

Meanwhile, a deadly wave of “Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic fever” continues to sweep through Iraq…

Iraq is going through an outbreak far more severe than the monkeypox. Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic fever has broken out in the Middle East and the tick-borne illness is deadly in up to two-fifths of people.

According to the World Health Organization, the disease called the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever has claimed 19 deaths among 111 cases this year alone. That means the spread of this disease is “unprecedented.”

This is yet another pestilence that can have a very high death rate in humans.

Hopefully it can be contained in Iraq.

Lastly, I wanted to give everyone an update on monkeypox.

It continues to spread all over the world, and community transmission is clearly taking place in many areas.  For example, the number of confirmed cases in the UK has increased by a whopping 69 percent just since Friday…

Another 71 cases of monkeypox have been spotted among Britons, as health chiefs urge anyone who develops a new rash to abstain from sex.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said the new patients are all based in England. It brings the UK total to 179 since the first was detected on May 6, with the figure soaring 69 percent since Friday — the biggest jump yet.

Almost all of the infections have been logged in England, apart from four logged in Scotland, two in Northern Ireland and one in Wales.

As I have stressed in other articles, this isn’t supposed to be happening.

Monkeypox is not supposed to spread easily from person to person.

On Monday, the World Health Organization decided to upgrade the threat level for this outbreak to “moderate”…

It comes as the World Health Organization today upgraded the threat from the virus to ‘moderate’.

The WHO said the explosion of cases with no links to each other or Africa means the current figure is ‘likely to be an underestimate’.

As we have seen so many times before, the WHO is once again behind the curve.

I can understand their desire to be cautious, but the public deserves the truth about what we are potentially facing.

If this virus has mutated into a form that is easier to transmit from person to person, this could become a really big crisis.

And it appears that may be what has happened.  Virologists in Portugal are claiming that monkeypox has become a “hyper-mutated virus”, and so everything that we knew about monkeypox in the past may need to be thrown out the window.

At this point, it is clearly being passed from person to person.  In fact, a case that was just confirmed in California was in “close contact” with a case that had previously been confirmed…

Health officials in Sacramento County have identified a second suspected monkeypox case, in a close contact of the county resident whose case was identified earlier this week and then confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

After everything that we went through with COVID, a lot of people out there are not taking this outbreak seriously.

And hopefully those skeptics are right on target.

In fact, I would love it if they were correct.

But what if they aren’t?

What do you think will happen if this becomes a massive global pandemic and millions of people start developing extremely disgusting sores all over their bodies?

COVID turned all of our lives upside down, but it has a death rate of well under one percent.

So what would a pandemic that has a far higher death rate mean for our world?

You might want to think about that, because the pestilences are just going to keep on coming.

Prices are soaring, there are widespread shortages of certain items such as baby formula all over the nation, and at the same time U.S. economic activity appears to be really slowing down.  Considering all of that, it makes perfect sense why the American people are feeling so negative about the economy right now.  In fact, a whopping 85 percent of all Americans believe that there will be a recession within the next year.  These days, it is virtually impossible to get Americans to overwhelmingly agree about anything, and so the fact that 85 percent of us are anticipating a recession is a really big deal.  Just about everyone realizes that economic conditions are going to get worse, but for those of you that still doubt where we are headed here are 11 statistics that show how U.S. consumers are faring in this rapidly deteriorating economy…

#1 According to a Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll that was recently conducted, 56 percent of Americans say that their financial situations are getting worse, and only 20 percent of Americans say that their financial situations are improving.

#2 Another new survey has just discovered that 66 percent of Americans “have avoided social events because they’ve felt embarrassed or uncomfortable” about their financial situations.

#3 The housing bubble appears to be bursting.  At this point, sales of new single family homes are falling at a very frightening pace…

Sales of new single-family houses in April plunged by 16.6% from March and by 26.9% from a year ago, to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 591,000 houses, the lowest since lockdown April 2020, according to the Census Bureau today. Sales of new houses are registered when contracts are signed, not when deals close, and can serve as an early indicator of the overall housing market.

#4 After breaking the all-time national record in March, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States has gone 42 cents above the old record and is now sitting at $4.59.

#5 The average age of a car on U.S. roads has reached an all-time record high of 12.2 years.  Many Americans continue to delay replacing their current vehicles because new vehicles have become so unaffordable.

#6 Millions of American families are struggling with rapidly rising food prices…

The index for food away from home increased 7.2% over the last year, the Labor Department reported earlier this month. Food prices were up 9.4% in April from the same time last year — the biggest jump since April 1981, the Bureau of Labor Statistics recently reported. And grocery store prices increased 10.8% for the year ended in April.

#7 U.S. natural gas futures just crossed the nine dollar threshold – the highest level that we have seen since the financial crisis of 2008.  That means that much higher energy costs are on the way for U.S. consumers.

#8 Multiple Fed surveys are showing that manufacturing activity in the U.S. is really slowing down…

The slowdown in manufacturing activity on display in reports from the Federal Reserve banks of New York and Philadelphia was confirmed by a survey from the Richmond Fed indicating that factory activity contracted in the mid-Atlantic region in May.

The Fifth District Survey of Manufacturing Activity index dropped 23 points from a positive reading of 14 in April to a minus nine, the lowest reading since May 2020, when much of the economy was still reeling from the onset of the pandemic and lockdowns.

#9 Zero Hedge is reporting extremely depressing news about U.S. macro data: “Other than April 2020 – when the entire economy was closed – May’s serial disappointment in US Macro data is the worst since Lehman”

#10 Thanks to plunging stock prices, approximately 20 trillion dollars in household net worth has been “wiped out” so far this year.

#11 A new CBS News/YouGov survey has found that 74 percent of Americans believe that things are going badly in this country and that 51 percent of Americans actually believe that Joe Biden is “incompetent”.

Right now, conditions are so similar to what we witnessed just before the financial crisis of 2008.

If we had addressed our long-term problems back then, perhaps we would be in a much different place at the moment.

But instead, we appear to be poised to repeat history in a lot of ways.

In fact, many experts believe that the crisis that is staring us in the face will be even worse than what we went through more than a decade ago.  For example, just check out what Peter Schiff is saying…

This one is going to be even bigger because the economy has a lot more debt now than it did in 2008. And Americans are less able to pay it when interest rates rise because the balances are much greater. So, we’re in much worse shape as a result of all the bailouts and all the stimulus that papered over the last crisis. So, now the one we’re dealing with is going to be much worse because we kicked the can down the road instead of solving the problem when we had a chance.”

He makes some really great points.

Every time there has been some sort of a crisis in our society, our leaders responded by showering the system with even more money.

In 2008, the U.S. national debt crossed the 10 trillion dollar threshold.

In 2022, the U.S. national debt has crossed the 30 trillion dollar threshold.

Our politicians have been systematically destroying our future, and most Americans didn’t seem to care.

Now a day of reckoning has arrived, and it is going to be immensely painful.

There is no silver bullet that is going to cure inflation.

The Federal Reserve is going to try to tame inflation by hiking interest rates, but that will just destroy the housing bubble and dramatically slow down the economy.

And there is no silver bullet that is going to end the shortages that we are currently facing.

We are now experiencing some of the consequences of decades of mismanagement, and a lot more pain is on the way.

Prepare for Disaster

You can never be too prepared if you want to master how to survive World War 3. Luckily, you do not need anything complicated to prepare for a disaster. You only need to have:

• A first aid kit
• Water
• Medication
• Non-perishable foods
• Multitools
• Toiletries
• Pet survival kit
• Gas mask and filters
• Iodine
• Radio
• Flashlight
• Batteries

Next, work on an emergency plan.

• Identify familiar meeting locations where you can go for protection.
• Practice the emergency plan beforehand to ensure no one gets confused in a panic.

Note:

• Pack your emergency survival gear in an easy to carry bag for convenience
• Ensure you have the correct iodine dose for everybody in your family

Do Not Panic

Keeping a clear mind during a crisis is challenging. But it can mean the difference between life and death.

• Making rational decisions and swiftly acting is a skill you need to master to survive World War 3.

Some of these life-saving decisions include:

• Avoiding elevators
• Staying away from large objects and windows
• Moving to lower levels of your home
• Inspecting your house to see if it’s still reliable for shelter

In case an initial attack happens and you survive, consider:

• Inspecting the damage to your house to see if it’s still reliable for shelter
• Evacuating if the damage is too extensive. Your emergency plan will come in handy at this point.

Note:

• Staying underground like in a basement reduces our chances of getting injured.
• Reacting fast increases your chances of survival.

Stay Away from Potential Targets

Once attacks on your city begin, make a point of moving away from potential targets. It could be military bases, large bridges, famous buildings, tunnels, and monuments.

As earlier mentioned, hit the road quickly to avoid the chaos that follows an attack. GPS applications help find alternative routes with less traffic to evacuate the city. But you cannot rely on them as phone networks are bound to fail sooner or later.

So, having a detailed map as a backup when working on how to survive World War 3 is crucial. Be sure to practice using it before an attack to familiarize yourself with the routes you can take.

Find a Shelter

Next on how to survive World War 3 is finding shelter after escaping the city. At this point, you are looking for cover away from combat. It can be anything from a friend’s house, hospital, community center, and shopping mall.

You are looking for a place with heating, electricity, and running water. However, keep in mind that the power grid is prone to failure due to cyber-attacks and bombing. So, focus on places with a solar or fuel-powered generator.

Prepare for Nuclear Warfare

If a war broke out in the 21st century, you could expect countries to use nuclear weapons. That said, what should you do when you see a nuclear flash?

• Get behind a barrier to protect yourself from the shockwave.
• Once the shockwave passes, cover your mouth and nose with a cloth.
  • Doing this saves you from nuclear fallouts.
• Cover your eyes.
  • • You may use a gas mask to keep your eyes open.
• Get out and look for an enclosed shelter.
  • You only have 20 minutes to do this before nuclear fallouts start
• After finding shelter, move to its inner parts like the basement.
  • The basement has thick concrete for protection.
• Once in place, remove your outermost layer of clothing and mask and seal them in a disposable bag.
• Take a bath as soon as you can.

Over the past few decades, the executive branch of the federal government has taken an increasingly autocratic approach to governing. Past presidents have unilaterally attempted to bypass Congress due to partisan gridlock and the inevitable tug-of-war involved in governing a nation of 330 million people. President Joe Biden has governed in a similar fashion, regardless of progressive anger at him for not “doing something.”

The covid-19 pandemic prompted public acceptance of a similar phenomenon at the federal level and across a majority of the fifty states. Most state executive branches responded to the pandemic with unilateral action. The federal executive branch was constrained in its approach to the pandemic because states possess more power than the federal government in responding to declared emergencies. Congress could have passed laws granting explicit statutory authority to the president, but it has in recent decades preferred to defer its governing authority to the president.

Republican senator Ben Sasse summarized this phenomenon back in 2018: “The real reason [Congress] punts most of its power to executive agencies is because it is a convenient way to avoid responsibility for controversial and unpopular decisions. If your biggest long-term priority is your own re-election, then giving away your power is a pretty good strategy.” As Rich Lowry writes in National Review, Congress has been a complicit if not “eager participant in its own neutering.” This principle has been especially true throughout the pandemic.

Many of the federal government’s covid-19 pandemic measures could have been statutorily authorized by Congress. However, Congress has been eager to shift its responsibilities, and thus accountability, to the president. Congress has delegated authority to the executive branch for decades, but today’s Congress is plagued by loyalty to a political party over loyalty to the institution. As Lowry states, “What’s new is that partisanship has created a loyalty for members of Congress that transcends their attachment to Congress itself, while more and more members consider their office merely a platform to get attention.”

In keeping with the executive branch’s encroachment on legislative activities, the Biden administration directed numerous executive branch agencies to adopt contentious nationwide policies. Often, these directives stretched the various agencies’ statutory authority. Since President Biden’s inauguration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) have issued widely applicable edicts, most notably a sweeping eviction moratorium, vaccine mandates, and mask mandates. Many states and localities separately introduced their own measures to supplement federal policy. While many, if not most, of these covid restrictions have ended, it is important to understand how the executive branch lost these three major legal disputes.

The CDC’s Eviction Moratorium

In March 2020, Congress passed the CARES Act. The CARES Act provided aid to individuals and businesses adversely affected by covid-19, but buried within the bipartisan spending package was a 120-day moratorium on eviction filings. The Trump administration, however, did not allow the moratorium to expire. Instead, the administration’s CDC “instated on September 4 a moratorium on evictions for nonpayment of rent for tenants,” which was set to expire on January 1, 2021. The Biden administration continued to extend the CDC’s eviction moratorium until the Supreme Court ruled against the measure’s legality on August 26, 2021.

In criticizing the CDC’s legal authority, a majority of the Supreme Court asked, “Could the CDC, for example, mandate free grocery delivery to the homes of the sick or vulnerable?” The Supreme Court separately noted that the CDC’s temporarily expanded statutory authority “is a wafer-thin reed on which to rest such sweeping power.” The CDC’s eviction moratorium is just one example of an executive branch agency overstepping its statutory authority.

Vaccine-or-Test Mandates

Throughout the early months of the Biden administration, the administration and the corporate media pressured all eligible Americans to receive the covid-19 vaccines. As Americans ignored the Biden administration and public health “experts,” the White House became increasingly disdainful of those who were skeptical of the covid-19 vaccines. While a slim majority of eligible Americans opted to voluntarily receive the covid-19 vaccines, the minority was labeled as “anti-vax” despite their variety of reasons for not getting vaccinated, including medical conditions, vaccine hesitancy, and the lack of rigorous long-term study of the vaccines’ side effects. The Biden administration continued to grow enraged that nearly half of eligible Americans ignored their expertise.

In September 2021, the White House announced a “vaccine or test” requirement through legal maneuvering. The most wide-ranging requirement came from OSHA’s emergency temporary standard (ETS), which required employers to determine the vaccination status of each employee, obtain acceptable proof of vaccination status, and maintain records of each employee’s vaccination status. The ETS required each unvaccinated worker to test for covid-19 weekly. At that time, an unvaccinated worker was defined as an individual without two doses of the mRNA vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) or one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine; the ETS was purposefully silent on those who had natural immunity (immunity from previous exposure to the virus).

As expected, special interest groups immediately challenged the OSHA ETS in court. The legal challenges ended on January 13, 2022, with the Supreme Court ruling in favor of the National Federation of Independent Business over OSHA. The Supreme Court found that “permitting OSHA to regulate the hazards of daily life—simply because most Americans have jobs and face those same risks while on the clock—would significantly expand OSHA’s regulatory authority without clear congressional authorization.”

Mask Mandates

On January 21, 2021, President Biden issued Executive Order 13998, which directed executive branch officials to require individuals to wear masks while engaging in domestic and international travel. On February 3, 2021, the CDC published its mask mandate for domestic and international travel, bypassing the Administration Procedures Act notice and comment procedures. The CDC defended its actions by claiming “it would be impracticable and contrary to the public’s health” to delay the mandate.

In March 2022, the Senate voted 57–40 to “overturn a federal requirement that passengers on airplanes and other modes of public transportation wear masks.” However, the Senate failed to reach the sixty-vote requirement, so this measure failed. In April 2022, the CDC’s interstate travel masking requirement stood as the last visible relic of the federal government’s covid-19 regime. The Biden administration publicly supported the continued enforcement of this requirement and renewed the mandate for one more month on March 18.

On April 18, 2022, district judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle struck down the CDC’s mask mandate. Progressives were quick to deride Judge Mizelle and her ruling. Dr. Anthony Fauci’s criticism of this ruling resembled that of a high priest: “the principle of a court overruling a public health judgment by a qualified organization like the CDC is disturbing in the precedent that it might send.”

After two years of governance by public health “experts,” courts have finally found the courage to confront emergency power abuses at the federal level. As Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote, “Even if the Constitution has taken a holiday during this pandemic, it cannot become a sabbatical.”

Conclusion

After more than two years of a constitutional sabbatical, federal courts have overturned the most egregious abuses of covid-19 emergency power. Unfortunately, the president remains undeterred from implementing his party’s preferred policies through unilateral action. Progressives in Congress have pressured President Biden to unilaterally cancel student loan debt. His colleague Representative Jim Clyburn explained an approach that mirrors the Biden administration’s guiding legal principle: “So my whole thing is, use your executive authority and let the courts have at it.” President Barack Obama governed in a similar manner, “I refuse to take no for an answer…. When Congress refuses to act … I have an obligation as president to do what I can without them.”

Given the Biden administration’s legal track record, one would expect their legal approach to change; however, this seems unlikely, given the executive branch’s trajectory in recent decades. “Do what you want until the courts say it’s illegal” is not a legitimate or democratic governing principle in a twenty-first-century constitutional republic. The most obvious solution to this crisis of legitimacy is for Congress to regain its mantle as the legislative body and to accept accountability for contentious policy issues.

Unfortunately, there are no signs that Congress is willing to take any positive steps in that direction. Both major political parties have been vocal opponents of the imperial presidency, but “when the need to build a legislative consensus does come up, [presidential] candidates simply promise to [implement policy] themselves.” While the pandemic of covid-related executive overreach has come to an end, it is time for freedom advocates to tackle the greater legitimacy crisis at hand.

As if 2022 wasn’t crazy enough, now it appears that we could be on the verge of another very deadly global pandemic.  As I write this, there are now 204 confirmed, probable or suspected cases of monkeypox in 17 different nations around the world.  By the time you read this, that total will probably be even higher.  In fact, the World Health Organization is specifically warning us to expect more cases.  Needless to say, this new outbreak has spawned a lot of really bizarre theories.  Some of these theories will end up being proven false, but at least some of these theories are likely to turn out to be accurate.  There is still so much we don’t know, but it certainly appears that this pandemic has the potential to become another major global crisis.

Let me start with the latest breaking news.  Just a little while ago, officials in Florida announced that there is a probable case of the monkeypox in Florida…

Health officials are investigating the state’s first presumptive positive case of monkeypox in South Florida.

The Florida Department of Health in Broward County announced Sunday that it and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are conducting epidemiological investigations to determine any possible exposures or offer post-exposure treatment.

If confirmed, it would be the third official case in the United States.  Already, there has been a confirmed case in Massachusetts and a confirmed case in New York.

As I discussed last week, monkeypox does not normally spread easily from person to person.

So something really strange seems to be going on.

At the World Health Organization, they have come up with a theory that monkeypox is being spread by sexual activity…

“What seems to be happening now is that it has got into the population as a sexual form, as a genital form, and is being spread as are sexually transmitted infections, which has amplified its transmission around the world,” WHO official David Heymann, an infectious disease specialist, told Reuters.

Of course sexual activity is not the only way that monkeypox can be spread.

Officials at the WHO need to make that very clear.

But so far authorities have identified two “superspreader events” which seem to have been catalysts for this global outbreak.  One was a pride festival in the Canary Islands…

The Canaria Pride festival, held in the town of Maspalomas between May 5 and 15, has become a hotspot for the monkeypox outbreak, reports El País.

The massive party was attended by over 80,000 people, including three Italian men who later tested positive for the virus.

A health source told the newspaper: “Among the 30 or so diagnosed in Madrid, there are several who attended the event, although it is not yet possible to know if one of them is patient zero of this outbreak or if they all got infected there.”

And the other was a fetish festival in Antwerp, Belgium…

Many of the patients who have come forward so far are gay men and Belgium’s three confirmed cases of monkeypox have been linked to a large-scale fetish festival in the port city of Antwerp. Kuipers said in his briefing that while a notable number of men who have sex with men are among the patients the virus is ‘not confined to them’. The virus can be spread via mucus membranes in the mouth, nose and eyes or via open wounds.

As we move into the summer months, the WHO is warning that similar events could cause the outbreak to accelerate even more…

Now the World Health Organization is warning that summer festivals and mass gatherings could accelerate the spread of monkeypox.

“As we enter the summer season in the European region, with mass gatherings, festivals and parties, I am concerned that transmission could accelerate, as the cases currently being detected are among those engaging in sexual activity, and the symptoms are unfamiliar to many,” said Dr Hans Kluge, WHO regional director for Europe.

But even if health authorities do a great job of explaining the dangers, will people avoid engaging in high risk activities?

Of course not.

Another very interesting thing that has come to light is the fact that an international biosecurity conference that was held in Munich in March 2021 actually simulated the type of scenario that we are facing now…

Elite media outlets around the world are on red alert over the world’s first-ever global outbreak of Monkeypox in mid-May 2022—just one year after an international biosecurity conference in Munich held a simulation of a “global pandemic involving an unusual strain of Monkeypox” beginning in mid-May 2022.

When I first heard about it, I thought that this was rather odd.  You can find an article about this simulation that was published last November by one of the participating organizations right here.

According to that article, leaders from four different continents were involved in the exercise…

In March 2021, NTI partnered with the Munich Security Conference to conduct a tabletop exercise on reducing high-consequence biological threats. The exercise examined gaps in national and international biosecurity and pandemic preparedness architectures—exploring opportunities to improve prevention and response capabilities for high-consequence biological events. Participants included 19 senior leaders and experts from across Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe with decades of combined experience in public health, biotechnology industry, international security, and philanthropy.

And as you can see below, their simulation envisioned that there would be a monkeypox outbreak right in the middle of May 2022…

So is all of this just some sort of really bizarre coincidence?

Hopefully we will eventually get some answers.

Meanwhile, there has been some speculation that the strain of the monkeypox that is now circulating was originally developed in a lab.

ECDC source tells me that the preliminary analysis of monkeypox indicates that it is “a third lab strain with unknown characteristics” and that there is chatter about this being somehow related to Moscow’s charges against U.S. biological activities in Ukraine.

If this is even remotely close to the truth, we should all be deeply alarmed.

As I have repeatedly warned, scientists all over the globe are playing around with the deadliest bugs on the entire planet.

In many of those cases, they intend to make them even deadlier.

It is very foolish to conduct such research, but they are doing it anyway.

Speaking of foolish research, we have also learned that scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology have apparently “assembled a monkeypox virus genome”…

The Wuhan Institute of Virology assembled a monkeypox virus genome, allowing the virus to be identified through PCR tests, using a method researchers flagged for potentially creating a “contagious pathogen,” The National Pulse can reveal.

The study was first published in February 2022, just months before the latest international outbreak of monkeypox cases which appear to have now reached the United States.

The paper, which was authored by nine Wuhan Institute of Virology researchers and published in the lab’s quarterly scientific journal Virologica Sinica, also follows the wide-scale use of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests to identify COVID-19-positive individuals.

Everything that I have shared with you so far is really weird.

But this story gets even weirder.

It turns out that the U.S. has just spent 119 million dollars on vaccines that would be used during a monkeypox pandemic…

Following confirmation that monkeypox has made its way to the U.S., the government ordered millions of doses of a vaccine that protects against the virus.

Bavarian Nordic, the biotech company that makes the vaccine, has announced a $119 million order placed by the U.S., with the option to buy $180 million more if it wants. Should that second option be exercised, it would work out to approximately 13 million doses.

If monkeypox is not a serious threat, why would our leaders spend so much money on these vaccines?

My hope is that this outbreak fizzles out quickly, because nobody wants another global pandemic.

It hurts my head just to imagine more lockdowns, more restrictions, more masks, more vaccines and more mandates.

But I am definitely concerned that this could become something really, really big.  In fact, those that follow my work on a regular basis know that I have been watching for this exact type of scenario for a couple of years.

As I keep warning, we have entered an era when great pestilences will become quite common.

Scientists are “playing God” in secretive labs all over the planet, and they think that there will never be any serious consequences.

But some of their deadly bugs inevitably escape from lab environments one way or another, and one of these days that could result in a pandemic that kills a substantial percentage of the global population.
