How To Use Portable Car Jump Starter

The good news is, with portable jump starters, you don’t need a mechanical engineering degree to use one. Unlike older intimidating portable jump starters, nowadays, they’re convenient, safe, and simple to use.

But each unit has unique instructions. So while they’re all very easy, they are not universal.

However, with that said, below are the general set of instructions for MOST portable jump starters today:

Here’s how:

1. Turn Off Vehicle And Any Power Draining Accessories

A portable vehicle charger is designed to give you full voltage in the first few attempts. Then it will, unfortunately, decrease in power.

You need to make sure the first jumps count, so take the keys out of your vehicle.

2. Connect The Jumper Cables

Your Portable Jump Starter has two cables coming out of it with alligator clamps. These clamps allow for a secure connection to your battery posts.

Make sure you make the proper connections. Red clamp to positive and black clamp to negative.

3. Turn On The Portable Jump Starter

Always turn on the jumper starter unit first. This will send the flow of electricity to your battery so your vehicle can use it.

Give it a few minutes BEFORE attempting to start your vehicle.

Note: Some portable jump starters use a sequence of beeps to signal when it’s ready to “start your vehicle”.

4. Then Start Your Vehicle

Once ready, turn the key over for about 5 seconds max. The portable jump starter will send a short burst of electricity. And most of the time, this will allow enough power to turn your engine’s starter.

But, if it doesn’t within 5 seconds, stop.

When you buy your jump starter, it may have some charge, but you don’t want to take any chances.

Have you noticed that the anti-war movement in the United States has almost shriveled up to nothing?  In the old days, hordes of radical leftists were passionately against our wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, but these days many on the left seem to want war with Russia more than anyone else.  But before we find ourselves pulled into a war that could have catastrophic implications for the entire planet, perhaps we should take a step back from the precipice and reflect on what we are about to do.  The Russians have spent an enormous amount of time, money and energy developing a new generation of extremely advanced nuclear weapons, and Vladimir Putin has already warned us that he is willing to use them.  And once one side or the other uses nuclear weapons, there will be no going back.

This is such a critical moment in our history.  If we make the wrong decisions now, there may not be a future for our country.  So instead of responding emotionally to what is going on, we desperately need to analyze the situation with cool heads.  The following are 5 very strange questions that every American should be asking about the war in Ukraine right now…

#1 Are we ready for hundreds of millions of people to perish in a conflict with Russia?  Harry Kazianis has participated in many war games over the years, and in 2019 he had the opportunity to participate in one which simulated what would happen if a war between NATO and Russia erupted in Ukraine.  According to Kazianis, the simulation resulted in more than a billion deaths…

Over just three days, as I have done countless times over the last several years, a group of past and present senior U.S. government officials from both sides of the aisle gathered to wage a NATO-Russia war in a simulation at the end of 2019. In the course of what we called the NATO-Russia War of 2019, we estimated one billion people died. And if we aren’t careful, what happened in a simulation could happen if a NATO-Russia war erupts over Ukraine.

In fact, in the simulation I mentioned above from 2019, in which Russia invades Ukraine in a similar way as it did over the last week or so, not only does NATO get sucked in unintentionally, but Russia eventually releases nuclear weapons in its desperation. The result is an eventual escalation of bigger and more dangerous nuclear weapons whereby over one billion lives are lost.

#2 If we provide fighter jets to Ukraine will that mean that we get sucked into a shooting war with Russia?  U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has previously stated that the U.S. would be willing to replace any MiG-29 fighter jets that Poland sends to Ukraine with new American-made fighter jets, and now Poland has put a unique twist on that proposal.  Apparently the Polish government wants to give the MiG-29 fighter jets to us, and then we would be the ones delivering them to the Ukrainians.  But if we actually did this, would this make us an active participant in the conflict?…

Poland said on Tuesday that it was ready to deploy — immediately and free of charge — all their MiG-29 fighter jets to the US Air Force’s Ramstein Air Base in Germany and place them at the disposal of Washington to provide them to Ukraine, according to a statement from the Polish foreign ministry.

#3 Why are al-Qaeda fighters being allowed to fight for Ukraine?  In the old days, we were told that al-Qaeda was the most evil terror organization on the entire planet, but now they are apparently on our side.  It is being reported that 450 al-Qaeda fighters have already arrived in Ukraine, and nobody in the western media seems to have a problem with this…

Close to 450 extremist Arab and foreign nationals have arrived in Ukraine from Idlib to fight against Russia’s forces, less than only three days after they left Syria, passing through Turkey.

Relatives of extremists that have arrived in Ukraine told Sputnik that senior fighters from terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (the rebranded version of Jabhat Al-Nusra, i.e Al-Qaeda) have held a number of meetings with senior leaders in the Turkistan Islamic Party group and Ansar Al-Tawhid and Hurras al-Din groups, and agreed on allowing a number of all their fighters to enter Ukraine through Turkish soil.

#4 Does the United States really have 26 biological research labs in Ukraine?  The Chinese government is making this accusation, and if it is true someone out there has a lot of explaining to do.  Because there is absolutely no reason why the U.S. should be conducting dangerous biological research in Ukraine at all, much less at 26 different facilities.  But according to China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this is precisely what has been going on…

“The US has 336 labs in 30 countries under its control, including 26 in Ukraine alone. It should give a full account of its biological military activities at home and abroad and subject itself to multilateral verification.”

#5 Why are Chinese media outlets embedding reporters with Russian military units that are participating in the invasion of Ukraine?  Normally, reporters are only embedded with forces that are considered to be friendly.  For example, it would be unthinkable for reporters from the United States to be embedded among the Russians.  But apparently the Chinese see this conflict much differently…

It is important to note that the Chinese have refused to denounce what Russia has done.

In fact, they aren’t even calling it an “invasion” at all.

Unfortunately, I think that we all know why this is happening.

The Chinese are planning to invade Taiwan at some point, and so they are watching how this current conflict plays out very, very carefully.

The Russians and the Chinese have been working to develop closer relations for a long time, and when China finally pulls the trigger on an invasion of Taiwan the U.S. could find itself in a state of conflict with both of them simultaneously.

Many in Washington would be absolutely shocked by such a development, but this is something that I have been talking about for a very long time.

In recent years the U.S. has grown extremely complacent, and meanwhile the Russians and the Chinese have both been rapidly modernizing and upgrading their military forces.

Now World War 3 has suddenly erupted, and Russia and China both sense an opportunity to change the game thanks to the incompetence of the Biden administration.

Confirming yesterday’s speculation that a ban on Russian oil imports is imminent, moments ago Bloomberg reported that the Biden administration is set to impose a ban on U.S. imports of Russian energy as soon as Tuesday without the participation of European allies, who as we discussed yesterday have been vocal – especially in the case of Germany – against such a blanket ban (because they import much more Russian oil and gas than the US).

The ban will include Russian oil, liquefied natural gas, and coal, according to two Bloomberg sources who noted that the decision was made in consultation with European allies, who rely more heavily than the U.S. on Russian energy. In other words, the allies agreed to disagree on how important Russian oil is to them.

Russian oil made up about 3% of all the crude shipments that arrived in the U.S. last year, according to EIA data. Overall, imports of Russian oil and petroleum products represented about 8% of the U.S. total. U.S. imports of Russian crude in 2022 have dropped to the slowest annual pace since 2017, according to the intelligence firm Kpler. As we reported overnight, Canada said that it could easily replace all US imports of Russian crude… if only the Keystone XL pipeline is approved and yet Biden still refuses to accept the simplest solution just to appease the ultra-progressive wing in the Dem party.

Russia’s gas and oil had so far been mostly spared from sanctions introduced by the U.S. and European countries, due to concern over the economic impact, particularly on Europe, which has a greater dependence on Russian oil and, in particular, natural gas. Canada has announced a ban on Russian crude oil.

Commenting on the probability of a Russian oil ban, last night Goldman said that “if the ban is put in place, expect the White House to simultaneously announce offsetting measures, potentially including additional releases from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) and measures to encourage domestic production. We are skeptical that Congress would suspend the federal gasoline tax to offset a rise in prices, though this cannot be ruled out.” Indeed, another reserve release appears inevitable, with the IEA head Fatih Birol telling the FT that “IEA ready to release more oil to ease soaring energy prices.”

In kneejerk response, oil prices have spiked higher, rising above $124 and hitting fresh session highs.

“We are really taking that leap [to drive innovation] – us as a company, Bayer – in cell and gene therapies,” Oelrich stated. “Ultimately, the mRNA vaccines are an example for that cell and gene therapy,” Oelrich admitted. “I always like to say: if we had surveyed two years ago in the public – ‘would you be willing to take a gene or cell therapy and inject it into your body?’ – we probably would have had a 95% refusal rate,” he said, adding, “I think this pandemic has opened many people’s eyes to innovation.”

As we have said from the beginning, this “vaccine” is a part of the agenda. They must get a critical number of people to take it, and unfortunately, it looks like the rulers have been successful at doing just that.

Oelrich continued: “Our successes over these 18 months [the duration of the COVID ‘pandemic’] should embolden us to fully focus much more closely on access, innovation and collaboration to unleash health for all, especially as we enter, on top of everything else that is happening, a new era of science – a lot of people talk about the Bio Revolution in this context.”

LifeSite News compared Oelrich’s statements to those of globalist World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab’s comments about the “Great Reset.”

We are watching a slow-motion horror show unfold right in front of our eyes, and nobody seems to have a way to stop it.  The vast majority of the global population did not want World War III to happen, but it has started anyway.

For years I have been warning that such a conflict would erupt if we did not change course, and now here we are.  I am very angry at Vladimir Putin for launching a full-blown invasion of Ukraine because he didn’t need to do that.  And I am also very angry at the Biden administration, European leaders, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for endless provoking the Russians and for refusing to negotiate an agreement that could have settled all of this peacefully.  I blame both sides for the war because in my opinion it could have been avoided so easily.  But now that World War III has begun, there will be no going back.

On Thursday, the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service made a statement that should be a major league wake-up call for all of us.

According to Sergei Naryshkin, Russia is now engaged in a “hot war” with western powers…

Also on Thursday the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, issued a series of bombshell statements which may reveal Moscow’s broader aims in the war concerning how Russia’s sees its ultimate security aims. Naryshkin said that “for us this is no longer a Cold War with the West but a hot war,” according to Interfax. He said in the rare statement that “Russia now has a real chance to put an end to the war that has been waged in the Post-Soviet space for the past 30 years” – as also quoted in TASS.

If that is how the Russians really view things, that is extremely sobering.

Because a “hot war” between two sides armed with nuclear weapons has the potential to spiral out of control very easily.

In fact, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov just brought up the specter of nuclear war during a rant in which he directly compared the United States to Nazi Germany…

“It is clear that World War Three can only be nuclear.”

So does the Biden administration actually want to fight a nuclear war with Russia?

If it does, I hope that the Biden administration will be honest about this so that millions of us can get out of the way before it happens.

If it doesn’t, then we should try to find a peaceful way out of this mess.

Unfortunately, it appears that a peaceful solution isn’t going to happen any time soon.

After talking with Vladimir Putin for about 90 minutes on Thursday, French President Emmanuel Macron warned that “the worst is yet to come”…

French President Emmanuel Macron thinks “the worst is yet to come” in Ukraine after talking with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, according to multiple reports.

A senior French official said Macron’s warning came after the two leaders spoke for 90 minutes, which did not yield any diplomatic progress, The Washington Post reported.

The official said Putin was determined to carry out the ongoing war in Ukraine until “the end,” the paper reported.

We are being told that the Ukrainian people are “fighting for democracy”, but that isn’t exactly accurate.

Yes, the Russians are authoritarians, but so are the Ukrainians.

Before the war, there were three television stations that were saying things that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his minions didn’t like, and so Zelensky shut them down.

And Zelensky and his minions also rounded up and arrested the leadership of the main opposition political party in Ukraine.

Just imagine how we would feel if the Democrats rounded up all of the leaders of the Republican Party and put them in prison.

The Zelensky regime is an authoritarian regime, and we should never forget that.

And as I detailed yesterday, Nazis and neo-Nazis are running around all over the place in Ukraine.

But in that article, I did not intend to suggest that most ordinary Ukrainians are evil.  In fact, in an article that I posted earlier today, I tried to make it very clear that most Ukrainians are just like you and me.

They just want to be left alone so that they can live their lives in peace and quiet.

Unfortunately, that is no longer possible.

Here in the western world, rapidly rising oil prices are going to make life more difficult for all of us.

On Thursday, U.S. crude actually reached 116 dollars a barrel at one point…

US oil prices briefly spiked on Thursday to their highest level in nearly 14 years, as concerns about disruptions to Russia’s supplies continue.

US crude jumped as much as 5.4% to $116.57 a barrel early Thursday — the highest trade since September 22, 2008. A week earlier Lehman Brothers collapsed.

Needless to say, a higher price for oil is going to mean that all Americans will soon be feeling a lot more pain at the pump.

According to USA Today, the average price of a gallon of gasoline has now hit five dollars in San Francisco…

Get ready to pay even more at the pump – perhaps as much as $5 per gallon or more.

Some consumers are already paying more than that: The average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in San Francisco hit the $5 mark Thursday. That’s the first time a U.S. city has hit an average that high, said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at fuel-savings app GasBuddy.

One California resident that was interviewed by a news crew admitted that “it hurts a lot” to fill up his vehicle now.

But this is just the beginning.
In fact, JPMorgan is projecting that the price of oil could eventually go as high as 185 dollars a barrel…

Brent crude could end the year at $185 a barrel if Russian supply continues to be disrupted, JPMorgan Chase & Co. wrote in a note Thursday.

Can you imagine what our economy will look like when people have to pay seven or eight dollars (or more) for a gallon of gasoline?

Things are really starting to get crazy out there.

But of course, we certainly have it much easier than the people of Ukraine.

As Russian forces encircle the major cities, supplies of food and energy will become increasingly tight.

Millions of Ukrainians will soon be extremely cold and extremely hungry as they slowly go mad from all of the Russian shelling that is constantly happening all around them.

For the citizens of Ukraine, World War III has already arrived.

For those of us in the western world, the conflict on the other side of the globe will cause inconveniences for now, but it is only a matter of time before we experience severe pain too.

The economic sanctions that have been imposed on Russia by western powers are really going to hurt.  But they aren’t just going to hurt the Russians.  The measures that are now being implemented are going to be quite a shock for the entire global economic system, and all of us will be affected.  Energy prices will be going much higher, food prices will be going much higher, and the sanctions are going to cause chaos in the financial world for months to come.  Of course things were already starting to get really crazy even before the war began, but now our problems are really going to start to accelerate.

On Tuesday, Kamala Harris made a guest appearance on a radio show, and during that interview she was asked to explain the crisis in Ukraine.

This is how she responded…

Appearing on The Morning Hustle, the vice president was asked to ‘break it down in layman’s terms for people who don’t understand what’s going on and how can this directly affect the people of the United States.’

Harris broke it down: ‘Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine so basically that’s wrong.’

It is frightening to think that Harris may soon be forced to take over for Joe Biden due to his failing health.

The Biden administration and other western powers have decided to punish the Russians by imposing economic sanctions on them.

Some have mocked the sanctions, but the truth is that they are definitely going to hurt the Russians.

For example, the value of the Russian ruble has already fallen so low that one ruble is now worth less than a “Robux”…

Due to international sanctions against Russia, the ruble has tumbled in value—so far, in fact, it’s now worth less than a Robux. That’s really bad news for the ruble, because the Robux is a video game currency that’s mostly meaningful only to children.

Roblox, also known as “that game your kids play that looks like Minecraft but isn’t,” has been around for over a decade. But with an explosion of at-home players during the pandemic, it’s gone from fad to phenomenon, now boasting more than 100 million active players. It’s so popular that its virtual currency value, which can in fact be converted back into US dollars, is now worth approximately $.0125, which is more than the Russian Federation’s ruble.

That is crazy.

As the ruble has collapsed, Russians have formed extremely long lines at ATMs all around the country…

Long lines began forming at ATMs on Sunday as Russians braced for the ruble’s collapse by attempting to withdraw foreign currency. The trend occurred amid fears that banks will began limiting cash withdrawals — or that credit and debit cards could stop functioning entirely.

“I’ve stood in lines for an hour, but foreign currency is gone everywhere, just rubles,” Vladimir, a 28-year-old programmer who waited online at an ATM in Moscow, told Bloomberg. “I got a late start because I didn’t think this was possible. I’m in shock.”

We are witnessing a full-blown financial panic in Russia right now, and things aren’t going to get any better any time soon.

And JPMorgan is projecting that the Russian economy as a whole will contract by 20 percent on a quarter over quarter basis…

JPMorgan told clients in a research note reviewed by FOX Business on Monday that sanctions announced against Russia could have a “severe” impact on the country’s economy.

“We tentatively assume that Russia’s economy will contract 20% [quarter-over-quarter], saar, in 2Q, and for the year around 3.5%. But the margin of error for any such guesstimate is incredibly high at this point, and risks are skewed heavily to the downside,” the note reads. “

Obviously the western powers want to make things painful enough for the Russian people that they will start to turn against the war.

But these sanctions aren’t just going to hurt the Russians.

Western financial institutions are holding lots of Russian debt.  Now that the Russian government, Russian banks and Russian corporations are being sanctioned, they could very easily decide to fight back by not repaying those debts.

Needless to say, that could cause some rather immense problems.

Meanwhile, energy prices are going to escalate to absolutely frightening levels.  At one point on Tuesday, West Texas Intermediate crude futures were selling for $106.78 per barrel, but that could be a bargain price compared to what is coming.

Because even though the U.S. and western powers explicitly avoided including Russian energy in their sanctions, many in the energy industry are choosing to boycott Russia anyway…

While in their unprecedented broadside of sanctions on Russia, the U.S. and Western allies went out of their way to spare Russian energy shipments and keep economies humming and voters warm, the oil market has gone on strike anyway. Acting as if energy were already in the crosshairs of Western sanctions officials, refiners have balked at buying Russian oil and banks are refusing to finance shipments of Russian commodities, the WSJ reports citing traders, oil executives and bankers.

This self-imposed embargo which has effectively halted a majority of Russian oil shipments, threatens to drive up energy prices globally by removing a gusher of oil from a market that was tight even before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Unfortunately, energy supplies were already very tight even before the war started.

If Russian oil continues to be rejected, we are being warned that this could shortly result in “much, much higher oil prices”…

“The market is starting to fail,” a trader at a major commodities trading house told the WSJ, which is a problem because with Russia exporting roughly 5 mmb/d, the oil market – already extremely tight – could find itself in a historic supply shortage in just a few days, and will need massive demand destruction, read much, much higher oil prices, to stabilize as Goldman wrote over the weekend.

Of course a much higher price for oil will be felt throughout our economy in thousands of different ways.

For example, just about everything that we buy has to be transported, and transporting goods takes energy.

Inflation has already started to spiral out of control in the United States, and it appears that the worst is definitely still to come.

Earlier today, I was stunned to learn that Colgate-Palmolive is warning us to get ready for a “$10 tube of toothpaste”…

Colgate-Palmolive Co (CL.N) CEO Noel Wallace said last week at an industry conference that the household goods maker sees its new Optic White Pro Series toothpaste as the type of premium product “vital” to its ability to raise prices, which will help drive profit growth this year.

Can you imagine paying 10 dollars for a tube of toothpaste?

I can’t.

The price of food is going to be rising aggressively as well.

Wheat futures shot up more than 5 percent on Tuesday alone, and one industry insider is warning that some wheat farmers in Ukraine may not grow any crops at all this year…

“This could not come have come in the worse time,” said Robb MacKie, president and CEO of American Bakers Association.

With wheat prices already on the rise, the conflict abroad is placing even more pressure on a still ailing supply chain. Russia is the top exporter or wheat, while Ukraine is in the top 5. The two counties compete in export markets like Egypt, Turkey, and Bangladesh.

“Depending on how this comes out and how long it goes, wheat farmers [in Ukraine] may not be able to plant spring wheat, corn and other things. So, they might go a year without any crops,” MacKie added.

Collectively, Russia and Ukraine normally account for about 29 percent of all global wheat exports.

And considering the fact that we were already entering a global food crisis even before the war started, we really need that output.

If a solution to this conflict cannot be found soon, one expert is telling us that “wheat will need to be rationed”…

“If the conflict is prolonged — three months, four months from now — I feel the consequences could be really serious,” Andree Defois, president of consultant Strategie Grains, told Bloomberg. “Wheat will need to be rationed.”

I truly hope that you grasp the implications of that statement.

This is beyond serious.

We really are facing a global food crisis that is unlike anything that we have seen since World War II, but of course the global population is far larger today than it was back then.

The months ahead are going to be painful for all of us, and our leaders should be very honest about this.

Because our leaders could have avoided this crisis very easily, but now we have crossed a point of no return.
