During purge night, groups of psychopaths walk along the streets. They look for weak and easy victims. So one way to survive the Purge is to create your group.
Gather like-minded individuals within your neighborhood a few months before the purge night.
Since most purgers want to cause mayhem, they do not have coordination.
So even if your group is small, you can survive the large pack by discipline. And commitment to protecting each other.
Should you decide to form a neighborhood militia, consider, that solidarity is vital. And one way to show your unity is by wearing a uniform.
You do not want to appear like you are some random street gang. Wearing a uniform creates a sense of a well-established protection force.
With this, purgers would think that you are not a vulnerable target. And they would move along and look for other prey.
Have you noticed that purgers in some movies do not wear bulletproof vests? or even helmets for their protection? Some are even shirtless!
Do not imitate them unless you want to get killed because this is a terrible purge survival strategy.
Before the Purge, some people focus on trying to look fantastic and scaring people off.
They put more thought into doing their Halloween costumes and freaky masks.
But, remember that you are not going to some murder-themed party. Your costume and mask would mean nothing if you do not have enough survival armor and skills. So concentrate on gathering armor pieces, such as a ballistic vest, instead.
If you do not own a gun, create improvised weapons using the objects around you.
Use a blade, butcher knife, or the sharp tip of a broken bottle for your defense.
Whether enduring the Purge alone or with a group, self-defense skills can help you survive.
Being armed is not enough. You must also know how to use your body and weapons for survival. For instance, you may invest in combat training, karate, kickboxing, and firearm handling.
These skills are valuable, as they can help you survive if you get into a fight with a purger.
Can’t afford the best intelligent home security system? Don’t worry! You can still protect your home by rolling out bare barricades.
You may put up obstacles to block the flow of traffic going to your neighborhood. Additionally, you may use barriers to protect your door or stairwell.
Secure your home as much as you can.
With only 12 hours of mayhem, purgers would not waste most of their time. They would refrain from going after a well-equipped and defended house.

Electronics have been with us for more than a century, and we have been dependent on them since they began. But cut your power and electronic devices if you want to survive the purge night.
Purgers are not likely equipped with night vision goggles, which are necessary to see in the dark.
Another way to survive the Purge is to find the perfect purge shelter. As much as possible, stay in an area where you can be a hard target.
You may consider hiding in places such as:
These places may be dark, disgusting, and creepy, but they are also tricky for the purgers to reach. What’s more, they may not even want to go to these locations.
You may also take a boat ride out on the sea or hike to a far destination. After all, the United States has a lot of campgrounds where you can spend the night.
Remember to get off the streets and avoid interaction with the outside world.
Who thought that the purge night had a silver lining?
Yes, you may hop in your car, drive north or south, and leave the country! This way, you not only survive the purge night, but you also get the chance to go on a vacation!
The United States has many escape routes, and you have several options to go outside the country.
You may continue driving until you reach the Mexican or Canadian border. Or aboard the plane and go anywhere in Asia, Africa, or Europe.
If you want to survive the Purge, try to be someone purgers would not want to kill in the first place.
Be helpful, generous, and likable. Try to be a generally excellent and considerate citizen every day.
Do not give others a reason to violently and mercilessly kill you. Try not to be impolite toward your colleagues and neighbors. Because if other people hold grudges against you, they will put a big target on you come purge night.

When it comes to storing survival food, things can get cluttered fast.
Stacking cans of food on the ground or using cardboard boxes or plastic crates just ends up as a disorganized mess.
Not only does it look terrible, and take up lots of space, but it can also compromise your food supplies.
Because good organization practices are key to avoiding food expiration dates!
How can you expect to make it through any emergency if all your canned foods make you sick?
You won’t.
Sure, you can invest in the best survival gear money can buy. And amass a stockpile of survival food to make a doomsday prepper jealous.
But it won’t help in an emergency its in a messy unorganized heap.
That’s why it’s so important to organize all your emergency backup resources.
Canned foods have been a survival food staple for decades. Why? Because canned food is shelf-stable so it lasts a long time. Plus, canned meats and veggies are both nutrient and calorie-dense.
AND canned food is a relatively cheap calorie to invest in.
But canned goods at scale take up a lot of space, especially when you’re stocking up for an emergency.
The solution? Can Storage Racks.
Can storage racks are an easy, cost-effective, organizational method for storing a lot of canned goods in a small space.
That’s why today I’m going to share everything I know about can storage racks, specifically:

Obviously, keeping your pantry well organized is the top reason to use a can storage rack system.
But it certainly isn’t the only one:
Keeping your food off the ground is a basic rule of storing food – even if it’s in a can.
Vermin, floods, and accidents can compromise your survival supplies down there. Keeping food off the floor helps to keep it dry and vermin are less likely to create their own private hidden snack bar.
2. Can Storage Racks Make Organization A Breeze
Most can storage racks allow you to easily check “expiration dates“. AND they also give you a quick visual reference for how much food you have left.
You won’t overlook the fact that you’re running out of green beans or canned corn. And thus, you can restock well before you run out.
Plus, if you decide to get a “First In First Out” (FIFO) racking system, you’ll consume the oldest cans first (more on FIFO can storage below).
3. Racked Food Is Safer For Everyone
Keeping your cans stored on racks ensures they’re out of the way and not creating trip hazards.
Everything on the floor can become a serious trip hazard. And if your cans are carelessly placed on a high shelf, they can make for a falling hazard as well.
But if they are on a rack that’s engineered to hold them right, they are safe and sound (and so are you).
4. More Cans Per Pantry – Even Tiny Ones
This hearkens back to “good organization practices”. With a canned goods storage rack, you can fit more cans in the pantry than if you just pile them up randomly.
More food inventory per square foot is an easy win.
This can also free you up to space in your storage areas to fit more key food supplies besides cans (like sacks of rice and beans).
One of the most frustrating and wasteful experiences is discovering mid emergency your food stockpile has gone bad. And while “expiration dates” and “best by dates” are a myth (especially with canned goods), they will eventually go bad.
That’s where a stockpiling rotation strategy comes in. If you plan to stockpile a lot of food for a future emergency, you have to rotate all your foods. And yes, this includes canned foods.
So to protect your food investment, we recommend FIFO can storage racks.
First In First Out racks are designed to use older cans first but also allow you to add newer cans without having to reorganize everything.
With regular can food storage racks, when you add new canned goods to the front of the rack, older cans get left stuck in the back. These often get forgotten about and get older by the day.
FIFO can storage racks fix this age-old problem.
They’re designed so new cans are added to an upper row, while old cans are removed from a lower row. So as you remove cans, the entire inventory shifts to present the oldest can for use first.
Stockpile rotation is built into the design!
Seriously, if you’re getting prepared and have a choice between 2 can food storage racks system. Always choose the FIFO rack every time.
Here’s the deal, nowadays, there’s an overwhelming number of can storage racks choices on the market.
Some are big and some are small, some are heavy and some are light.
But no matter the style you prefer, you should figure out ahead of time how much food you want to store before you buy.
Then once you have your goal number, it’s time to go shopping. Here’s a list of the best can storage racks we like the most:
First, you can buy as many as you need or as many as you can fit and simply stack them one on top of one another.
Each rack can hold up to 36 cans, and the rack is built so that when you pull one can out and the next rolls in to replace it.
It’s made from heavy gauge stainless steel. So this device is durable and requires minimal set-up. And at 6.2 pounds, it’s the lightest; most compact can storage rack on this list.
All that, in combination with the affordability of this rack, makes it one of your best options.
However, the biggest minus is it’s not a FIFO can storage rack.
These FIFO Store racks are my favorite when it comes to can food storage. It’s a similar setup to the DecoBros can storage rack, but bigger and better.
This one can hold up to 54 cans of food, and it’s light at only 4 pounds, 15 ounces.

But it’s one of the only FIFO can storage systems on this list!

This canned goods storage rack can store up to 36 cans.
One nice feature of this rack is it includes 6 adjustable dividers to accommodate different can sizes.
It’s a sturdy rack once assembled and has a chrome finish to prevent rusting.
Again, this one is not FIFO so you have to remove older cans in order to place new cans behind it – except for the top shelf, of course.
These racks are small and simple but effective. They have a slanted design to ensure the cans will roll to the front of the rack when you remove one.
It includes small rubber stoppers at the feet of the rack to prevent slipping.
The biggest downside to this rack system is it’s not first in first out unless you have access to the backside of the rack.
So if that’s important to your canned food stockpiling plan, pass on this rack and get a FIFO one instead.
The biggest option on this list, this can rack storage system can hold up to 200 cans at one time!
It’s designed with adjustable spacers to fit different sizes of cans.
The FIFO Can Rack is made with a “first-in, first-out” system which again, allows you to easily rotate through your older cans first.
So if you’ve got the space, place one of thse units on top of another to increase your can storage capacity to 400 cans!e

Honestly, there isn’t much in the way of maintenance when it comes can storage racks.
They don’t have any moving parts, so you don’t have to worry about changing out the oil, or charging batteries.
What is helpful, though, is to keep a log of what you have, what you need, and when your food will go bad.
You should keep a clipboard hanging in your pantry, or even on the can storage rack itself. That way, you can keep track of what you bought, when you bought it, and when it will expire.
This is an easy way to make sure your supplies remain fresh. It’s also the best method for ensuring you never run out.
This method makes quick work of restocking your canned goods cache.
Thus, you’ll avoid letting your precious foods expire and running out in an emergency. And by keeping an accurate inventory you’ll prevent overstocking on too much of one food category.
Sure, creamed corn is good, but if you don’t want to accidentally end up with 1000 cans of it.
If you do, you’re going to be on a strict cream corn diet in an emergency and that’ll get very old, very fast.
Maintaining a healthy supply of canned goods is a wise step toward prepping basics. But it won’t do you much good if your can cache remains a chaotic mess.
That’s why buying a can storage rack is a vital part of any food storage system.
You don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for an industrial-kitchen-sized can rack. A smaller, stackable setup will work just fine.
But it’s critical to have the proper can storage racks to protect your canned good for years to come.
I hear so many stories from our readers about how they forgot about their canned goods and now they’re decades old. They as me if they can still trust them and worry whether they are still good or not.

Many have compared what we are currently experiencing to the “stagflation” of the 1970s, but the truth is that what we are facing will eventually be so much worse than anything that we went through back then. A meltdown of historic proportions is here, and as you will see below, some of the biggest names in the entire country are talking about it.
On Monday, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States set another all-time record high…
The gas price spike keeps getting worse.
The national average jumped to $4.87 a gallon on Monday, according to AAA. That’s up 25 cents in the past week and 59 cents in the past month.
There are now 10 states where the average price of gasoline is $5 a gallon or higher, with the latest being Michigan and Indiana. Washington, DC, is also above $5, according to CNN.
A 25 cent increase in one week is just insane.
If we continue on this trajectory, the price of gasoline would go up about a dollar a month.
I can’t imagine that will be the case, but stranger things have happened.
Overall, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States has now more than doubled since Joe Biden entered the White House.
How high will it be a year from now?
For a long time I warned my readers that the price of gasoline would eventually hit ten dollars a gallon, but now we have learned that it is already almost there at one gas station in California.
Meanwhile, U.S. economic activity is really slowing down and we are being warned to brace ourselves for the worst.
In fact, at this point some of the most prominent people in the entire country are starting to sound like they could be writing for The Economic Collapse Blog. The following are four really big names that are warning that major economic disaster is ahead…
#1 If you have a “bad feeling” about the U.S. economy, you are not alone. Elon Musk says that he has a “super bad feeling” about where the U.S. economy is heading, and so he intends to reduce the Tesla workforce by approximately 10 percent…
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has a “super bad feeling” about the economy and wants to cut about 10% of jobs at the electric carmaker, he said in an email to executives on Thursday seen by Reuters.
The message came two days after the world’s richest man told employees to return to the workplace or leave the company.

Rapper and Joe Biden supporter Cardi B took to Twitter on Sunday to ask when “they going to announce” that the United States is “going into a recession.”
“When y’all think they going to announce that we going into a recession?” Cardi B wrote Sunday in a tweet, which has since garnered more than 120,000 likes, and over 16,000 retweets.
Actually, the U.S. economy contracted during the first quarter of 2022, and if it contracts again in the second quarter then we are actually already in a recession right now.

– $66 trillionThat’s $66 trillion of debt and liabilities after every asset in the US has been sold off.
I might quibble with the precise numbers that he used a little bit, but overall Kim Dotcom is right on target.
And I really like how he summarized the nightmare that is in front of us…
So even if the US could sell all assets at the current value, which is impossible, it would still be broke.
The US is beyond bankrupt.
This patient is already dead.
This patient is now a zombie.You probably wonder why are things still going? Why didn’t everything collapse yet.
It’s all perception, denial and dependency.
Our leaders have tried to keep the party going for as long as they possibly could, and for a while that actually worked.
But now a day of reckoning has arrived, and a horrifying economic meltdown has begun.
We aren’t talking about a “recession” that will be here for a while followed by a return to the way that things used to be.

We have faced a lot of significant challenges in modern American history, but nobody will ever forget the economic horror that is breaking loose during Joe Biden’s time in the White House. For years, we were warned that the policies that our leaders were pursuing would destroy the value of our currency and unleash rampant inflation. Now it has happened. For years, we were warned of a looming global energy crisis that would inevitably hit us. Now it is here. But what we have been through already is just the beginning. On Thursday, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States reached yet another brand new all-time record high…
US gas prices have hit a new high of $4.71, just a day after hitting the record as seven states top off at $5 a gallon as inflation soars.
The national average jumped four cents overnight, leaving drivers in even more despair as gas prices continue to skyrocket emptying their wallets.
If Americans don’t like paying about five bucks a gallon, how are they going to feel when it takes about 10 bucks to buy a gallon of gas?
Fortunately, we did just get a bit of good news that should provide some temporary relief…
OPEC and its oil-producing allies agreed on Thursday to hike output in July and August by a larger-than-expected amount as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine wreaks havoc on global energy markets.
OPEC+ will increase production by 648,000 barrels per day in both July and August, bringing forward the end of the historic output cuts OPEC+ implemented during the throes of the Covid pandemic.
Unfortunately, this isn’t really going to change the trajectory of where we are heading.
In fact, one energy expert says that this is essentially just a symbolic gesture…
Robert McNally, president of Rapidan Energy Group and a former energy adviser to President George W. Bush, said prices rallied Thursday because the OPEC move was “more symbolic than fundamentally significant.”
“I wouldn’t call it a drop in the bucket. It’s basically a gesture… an important one symbolically,” he told CNN Business.
What we really need are long-term solutions, and there aren’t any on the horizon.
And the truth is that we aren’t just facing an oil crisis. At this stage, the balance between supply and demand has reached a crisis point for all traditional forms of energy simultaneously…
“Now we have an oil crisis, a gas crisis and an electricity crisis at the same time,” Fatih Birol, head of the International Energy Agency watchdog group, told Der Spiegel in an interview published this week. “This energy crisis is much bigger than the oil crises of the 1970s and 1980s. And it will probably last longer.”
The global economy has largely been able to withstand surging energy prices so far. But prices could continue to rise to unsustainable levels as Europe attempts to wean itself off Russian oil and, potentially, gas. Supply shortages could lead to some difficult choices in Europe, including rationing.

Joe McMonigle, secretary general of the International Energy Forum, said he agrees with this depressing forecast from the IEA.
“We have a serious problem around the world that I think policymakers are just waking up to. It’s kind of a perfect storm,” McMonigle, whose group serves as a go-between for energy producing and consuming nations, told CNN in a phone interview.

The price of eggs increased 10.3% in April. The UDSA predicts an increase between 19.5% and 20.5% year over year in 2022. That could mean $1.00 an egg. Poultry prices will rise as much as 9.5%.

Chicken meat and turkey meat will be getting more expensive too, and now we are being warned that shortages are coming.
In fact, the CEO of Hormel Foods is openly telling us that “large supply gaps in the Jennie-O Turkey Store will begin in the third quarter”…
A top US food processing company warned of an upcoming shortage of its turkey products at supermarkets following one of the worst bird flu outbreaks.
“Our Jennie-O Turkey Store team is facing an uncertain period ahead,” Hormel Foods Corporation CEO Jim Snee told investors in an earnings call. “Similar to what we experienced in 2015, (avian influenza) is expected to have a meaningful impact on poultry supplies over the coming months.”
Snee said the “large supply gaps in the Jennie-O Turkey Store will begin in the third quarter.” He said highly pathogenic avian influenza was confirmed in “our supply chain” in March.
In case you didn’t get the point of what he was saying, “large supply gaps” is a politically correct way of saying “widespread shortages”.
Speaking of shortages, the baby formula shortage in the United States is now worse than ever…
But, as Bloomberg reports, out-of-stock rates climbed to 74% nationally for the week ending May 28, according to data on 130,000 stores followed by Datasembly. The increase comes after rates spiked to 70% for the week ending May 21 from 45% the week prior.
Even more stunningly, ten states now have shortage rates at 90% or greater, with Georgia hardest hit at 94%.
The Biden administration made a really big deal out of the fact that they were flying in baby formula from Europe, but once again that turned out to mostly be a symbolic gesture.
As economic conditions continue to deteriorate, an increasing number of Americans will fall into poverty and hunger. In fact, according to NPR “demand at food banks is way up again”, and many of those food banks are already at a crisis point…
Fitzgerald, of Feeding America, says providers around the country are dipping into emergency reserves, switching to cheaper products, limiting how often people can visit or how much food they can get, and “stretching their inventory to be able to meet more people’s needs.”
If our food banks are in such distress now, what will things be like six months or a year from today?
Because the truth is that food supplies are only going to get tighter.
The winter wheat harvest in the U.S. is going to come in way, way below original expectations. In fact, we are being told that the winter wheat harvest in Kansas could be down “by more than 25%”…
The U.S. winter wheat harvest potential in Kansas has dipped by more than 25% because of severe drought, and farmers in the state may leave thousands of acres of wheat in fields this year instead of paying to harvest the grain hit by the dry winter.
Looking ahead, a lot less wheat is being planted for the coming growing season because of extremely bizarre weather patterns in some areas.
For example, the amount of wheat that is currently being planted in North Dakota is expected to be the smallest ever recorded…
Some farmers in North Dakota are unable to plant as much wheat as they normally would because of heavy rain across the state.
Government data shows the state is expected to plant wheat over the smallest recorded share of its farmland.

The bottom line is that we are facing really severe problems that are not going to go away any time soon.

The president of the United States says he understands that inflation is impacting family budgets. But on Wednesday, he said he’s not “aware” of any “immediate action” that would reduce food and fuel prices.
“[W]e can’t take immediate action, that I’m aware of yet, to figure out how we bring down the price of gasoline back to three dollars a gallon. And we can’t do that immediately with regard to food prices, either,” Biden said.
A historic economic nightmare is here, and the guy in the White House is all out of answers.
So buckle up and try to enjoy the ride.
