Everyone needs to start paying attention to this crisis, because America’s rapidly growing bird flu pandemic is going to deeply affect all of us at the grocery store.  This pandemic began on February 8th when a confirmed case of HPAI was confirmed in a domestic flock, and on March 9th I published an article that discussed the fact that nearly 2.8 million birds (mostly chickens and turkeys) had already died.  If the pandemic had fizzled out after that first month, it wouldn’t have ultimately been a major deal.  But instead, this pandemic has escalated dramatically here in the second month.  If cases continue to spread like wildfire, we will soon be facing a nightmare of absolutely epic proportions.

On Friday, I was stunned to learn that an outbreak of bird flu at an egg-laying farm in Iowa is going to result in the culling of over 5 million chickens…

The confirmation of bird flu at another Iowa egg-laying farm will force the killing of more than 5 million chickens, state officials said Friday.

It’s the second confirmed case of avian influenza in Buena Vista County, about 160 miles (257 kilometers) northwest of Des Moines, but the latest outbreak is at an operation with 5.3 million chickens. The earlier case was at a farm with about 50,000 turkeys.

Just think about that.

Five millions chickens suddenly gone.

What do you think that is going to do to the price of eggs?

This pandemic originally erupted in states on the east coast, but now it is really raging in the middle of the nation.

For example, HPAI just spread to two more counties in Kansas…

State officials say a strain of bird flu has shown up in two more Kansas counties.

The Kansas Dept. of Agriculture announced Friday that samples show cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in two non-commercial backyard mixed-species flocks (poultry), one in Dickinson Co. and the other in rural Sedgwick Co.

And HPAI has just been confirmed at more facilities in South Dakota…

Officials in South Dakota said on Saturday that 85,000 birds in two state facilities were euthanized amid the state’s first avian flu outbreak since 2015.

The outbreaks took place on two farms in Charles Minx county, located in the southeastern part of the state, where the flu was first detected in turkeys, according to South Dakota Public Broadcasting (SDPB). Other birds in close contact with the turkeys were euthanized as well.

After the first month, the death toll from this pandemic was sitting at approximately 2.8 million.

According to Fox Business, the total death toll here in the second month of the pandemic has now reached nearly 12.6 million…

The latest case confirmed by the state Department of Agriculture means nearly 12.6 million chicken and turkeys in at least eight states have been killed or will be destroyed soon.

The second month of this pandemic began on March 8th, and so that means that the death toll has risen by close to 10 million in less than two weeks.

Let that sink in for a moment.

If this pandemic continues to rise on such a trajectory, what is our food supply going to look like a few months down the road?

According to Zero Hedge, the price of wholesale eggs reached $1.60 on Wednesday…

Urner Barry data shows wholesale eggs jumped 10 cents to $1.60 a dozen Wednesday, the most significant daily gain since the early days of the virus pandemic.

If HPAI continues to spread in a manner that is completely out of control, the wholesale price of eggs is going to go far, far higher than that.

Of course chicken and turkey were both becoming more expensive as meat prices soared even before this pandemic came along.

Now we are potentially facing very real shortages of both chicken and turkey in the months ahead, and prices could easily go to levels that we have never been before.

The war in Ukraine has created an enormous “supply shock”, and bizarre global weather patterns are certainly not helping matters.

Global hunger was already rapidly rising even before 2022 started, and now we have a real nightmare on our hands.

As far as bird flu is concerned, we better hope that a strain doesn’t mutate that can spread easily among humans.

Because bird flu typically has an extremely high death rate in people.  The following comes from the official CDC website…

More than 700 human infections with Asian HPAI H5N1 viruses have been reported to WHO from primarily 15 countries in Asia, Africa, the Pacific, Europe and the Near East since November 2003. Indonesia, Vietnam and Egypt have reported the highest number of human HPAI Asian H5N1 cases to date.

The first report of a human infection with Asian H5N1 in the Americas was in Canada on January 8, 2014 and occurred in a traveler recently returning from China. Although human infections with this virus are rare, approximately 60% of the cases have died.

Over the past two years, a pandemic with an extremely low death rate has caused unprecedented panic all over the globe.

Can you imagine what would happen if a pandemic with a 60 percent death rate were to suddenly break out?

Words like “catastrophic” and “apocalyptic” would not be sufficient to describe the horror that we would be facing.

But even if HPAI doesn’t jump to humans and cause a historic “pestilence”, the truth is that we are still going to have to deal with a crisis of enormous proportions in the months ahead.

Millions of chickens and turkeys have already died, and millions more will soon die in this country.

That means that there will be a lot less eggs than usual.

And that also means that there will be a lot less chicken meat and turkey meat than usual.

This is all happening in the context of the sort of major global food crisis that we have all been warned about, and that global food crisis looks like it is going to escalate dramatically in the months ahead.

If you have not been paying much attention up until now, you need to wake up.

This is the real deal.

Let us hope that this bird flu pandemic can be brought under control somehow, because if it isn’t we will soon be seeing headlines that once would have been unthinkable.

How To Use Portable Car Jump Starter

The good news is, with portable jump starters, you don’t need a mechanical engineering degree to use one. Unlike older intimidating portable jump starters, nowadays, they’re convenient, safe, and simple to use.

But each unit has unique instructions. So while they’re all very easy, they are not universal.

However, with that said, below are the general set of instructions for MOST portable jump starters today:

Here’s how:

1. Turn Off Vehicle And Any Power Draining Accessories

A portable vehicle charger is designed to give you full voltage in the first few attempts. Then it will, unfortunately, decrease in power.

You need to make sure the first jumps count, so take the keys out of your vehicle.

2. Connect The Jumper Cables

Your Portable Jump Starter has two cables coming out of it with alligator clamps. These clamps allow for a secure connection to your battery posts.

Make sure you make the proper connections. Red clamp to positive and black clamp to negative.

3. Turn On The Portable Jump Starter

Always turn on the jumper starter unit first. This will send the flow of electricity to your battery so your vehicle can use it.

Give it a few minutes BEFORE attempting to start your vehicle.

Note: Some portable jump starters use a sequence of beeps to signal when it’s ready to “start your vehicle”.

4. Then Start Your Vehicle

Once ready, turn the key over for about 5 seconds max. The portable jump starter will send a short burst of electricity. And most of the time, this will allow enough power to turn your engine’s starter.

But, if it doesn’t within 5 seconds, stop.

Try again if needed until it starts. But each successive failed attempt will reduce your chances of a successful jump.

When you buy your jump starter, it may have some charge, but you don’t want to take any chances.

Take it out of the box and plug it in until it reads fully charged.

The growing desire for war that we are witnessing in Washington D.C. right now should greatly alarm all of us.  In this environment, voices of reason such as Tucker Carlson and Tulsi Gabbard are being accused of “treason” just because they are calling for peace.  Well, you can add me to that list because I am calling for peace too.  I don’t want nuclear war.  I don’t want billions of people to die.  You would think that we should all be able to agree on those things, but unfortunately the warmongers in Washington seem absolutely determined to keep escalating matters.  That is a very dangerous game, and it is going to be way too easy for someone to make a huge mistake.  Before that day arrives, you may want to figure out where you want to spend your days when global war fully erupts.

At some point, the shooting in Ukraine will end.  Either Russia will achieve total victory, or more likely there will be some sort of a ceasefire agreement.

But when the shooting in Ukraine stops, don’t be fooled into thinking that everything is okay.  The truth is that a much bigger conflict between the United States and Russia has now begun, and both sides are beginning to realize that this is ultimately a struggle for all the marbles.

World War 3 is here, and now we must hope that we can keep both parties from “going nuclear” for as long as possible.

Of course there are some that would like to see the U.S. and Russia shooting at each other very soon.  On Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky begged Congress to establish a “humanitarian no-fly zone” over Ukraine…

The t-shirt-attired Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed a joint session of the U.S. Congress by video on Wednesday and asked for the United States to send warplanes into the sky over Ukraine to create a “humanitarian no-fly zone” or, failing that, to provide Ukraine itself with warplanes.

“Russia has turned the Ukrainian sky into a source of death for thousands of people,” Zelensky told Congress.

Zelensky knows very well that the establishment of a “humanitarian no-fly zone” would require U.S. forces to shoot down Russian jets.

And he also understands that this would spark a shooting war between the United States and Russia.

But you can’t blame Zelensky for trying.  He is trying to save his own skin, and the best way to do that is to drag the United States into the war.

Needless to say, the establishment media in the western world absolutely adored Zelensky’s speech.  The following example comes from CNN…

Zelensky’s words are not only destined for the history books. They will likely energize support for Ukraine’s defense against Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war machine and reverberate across the US.

When America’s top Democrats and Republicans rose side by side to give Zelensky a standing ovation, we knew the Ukrainian President had made his mark. Zelensky, reminding Americans what freedom really means after the country has spent years devaluing it in petty political battles, proves there is a new seriousness in the nation.

And most members of Congress ate it up as well.  Following the speech, Senator Jeanne Shaheen boldly declared that “more must be done to assist Ukraine”…

“It is clear that more must be done to assist Ukraine and hold Putin to account,” Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, New Hampshire Democrat, said in a statement following Zelenskeyy’s virtual address. “The images we watched today underscore the horrific violence – the war crimes – being committed by Putin. He will pay for what he has done.”

And Senator Joni Ernst said that Zelensky’s speech made her want to put on a uniform and “go help”…

‘It’s hurtful to see anything like, you know, thinking about if it were my child, if that were my family, that were my people. You know, I’d be doing the exact same thing that President Zelensky is,’ Ernst said.

‘I would be appealing to every nation possible to get whatever it takes to defeat the Russians and get them the heck out of my country. You know, it makes me want to throw on my uniform, you know, and go help.’

Actually, I would love to see that.

In fact, I would love to see U.S., Ukrainian and Russian politicians all flown to an island where they would resolve this conflict “Battle Royale” style.

But instead, all of the politicians are safe and warm while millions upon millions of Ukrainians deeply suffer.

One of the biggest warmongers in the U.S. Senate, Lindsey Graham, has decided that it is time to start calling Vladimir Putin “a war criminal”…

“It’s time for him to go. He’s a war criminal,” Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, an erstwhile standard bearer for the Republican Party’s Reagan-era foreign policies, told reporters shortly after Zelenskeyy’s address. “I am asking the Russian people to rise up and end his rein of terror.”

Joe Biden also referred to Putin as a “war criminal” on Wednesday, and he announced that an additional 800 million dollars in military aid would be given to the Ukrainian government.

To be honest, it is quite an impressive list that the Ukrainians will be receiving…

• 800 Stinger anti-aircraft systems
• 2,000 Javelin, 1,000 light anti-armor weapons, and 6,000 AT-4 anti-armor systems
• 100 Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems
• 100 grenade launchers, 5,000 rifles, 1,000 pistols, 400 machine guns and 400 shotguns
• Over 20 million rounds of small arms ammunition and grenade launcher and mortar rounds
• 25,000 sets of body armor
• 25,000 helmets

But of course this is not nearly enough for some of the warmongers in Congress.

In fact, 40 Republican senators just signed a letter “in which they strongly disagreed with the decision to not transfer aircraft and air defense systems to Ukraine from Poland”.

Biden was hesitant to take such a step because it might start a shooting war with Russia, but apparently that is a risk that most Republican senators are willing to take.

Thankfully, most Americans do not actually want a shooting war with Russia.

But according to one new survey, more than a third of all Americans “would favor military action even if it risks nuclear conflict with Russia”…

However, most Americans (62%) say they would oppose the U.S. “taking military action even if it risks a nuclear conflict with Russia.” About a third (35%) of Americans say they would favor military action in this scenario. Comparable shares in both parties (36% of Republicans, 35% of Democrats) say they would favor military action even if it risks nuclear conflict with Russia.

Those of us in the majority need to be much louder than those in the minority, because if the warmongers get their way we could eventually find ourselves in the middle of a nuclear conflict.

And if that happens, there won’t be a future for our country.

Speaking of World War 3, Joe Biden is also escalating matters with China by sending thousands of U.S. troops to Australia…

The Pentagon is to deploy over two thousand troops to Australia by September to join an established rotational force of 200 in anticipation of a conflict with China, according to reports.

The Daily Mail notes that “The contingent is part of an ongoing US initiative in the Indo-Pacific region to prepare for a possible Chinese invasion of Taiwan in coming years.”

The report notes that 1000 marines have already arrived in the country.

The battle lines are being drawn.

Once World War 3 fully erupts, it will be the United States on one side, and Russia and China on the other.

If Americans truly understood what was at stake, there would be massive demonstrations in the streets of every major U.S. city right now.

But the general population just doesn’t get it.

They just assume that war is something that happens on the other side of the globe and that our leaders have everything under control.

Even though omicron is supposedly mild, China has locked people and factories down again in an effort to keep it from spreading. China’s totalitarian zero-tolerance approach has shuttered factories and placed some 51 million people into some form of lockdown.

The global economy and worldwide supply chains are already being devastated by the conflict in Ukraine, and China’s domination of it’s people is likely to make things much worse in the coming months.

As of Tuesday, omicron variant infections have been reported in 21 provinces and municipalities nationwide, including the capital of Beijing. According to CNN, five cities are in lockdown, including Changchun, Jilin, Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Langfang.

According to a report by ZeroHedge, lockdowns have forced factories to idle production and risk snarling production from Apple iPhones to Amazon Echo & Alexa devices to Toyota SUVs to smart television to all sorts of other electronic devices. Disruptions to exports may induce shortages and drive up inflation, just as the Federal Reserve embarks on hiking interest rates to control inflation at four-decade highs.

China’s zero-tolerance policy has reminded us that supply chains are still subjected to massive disruptions if the ruling class decides to cause problems for the slaves. The lockdowns couldn’t come at a worse time, as spring tends to be one of the busiest shipping seasons of the year.

Shenzhen’s 17.5 million residents were placed under lockdown on Sunday. The city resides in Guangdong, a coastal province of southeast China known for its manufacturing hub and ports account for about 11% of China’s economy. The province accounted for 23% of China’s shipments in 2021.

“You take all these little paper cuts and you start to add them up and you could be looking at a potential significant slowing of the global economy,” said Jay Bryson, chief economist at Wells Fargo & Co.

Prepare the best you can. Lockdowns are not over yet, and as we continue to warn, if the rulers of other dictatorships like the United States feel like they can get away with locking the public down again, they will do so. Supply chain issues while being locked down could mean hard times for many of the people on this planet. Don’t worry though. Your masters politicians will all be fine in their mansions with their high-quality food.

The new global economic crisis that we have entered into is starting to hit home with hard working American families in a major way.  I have been hearing from so many people that are absolutely horrified by how rapidly the price of gasoline is rising.  Especially for those that have to drive a lot, this is going to cause a tremendous amount of pain.  Food prices continue to surge as well, and this is particularly true when it comes to meat.  Unless you are a vegan or a vegetarian, you are probably accustomed to eating quite a bit of meat on a regular basis.  Unfortunately, now we are being told that Americans are going to have to cut back due to global supply problems.  In fact, a Yahoo Finance article that I came across earlier today actually referred to beef as a “luxury meat”…

Americans could be cutting steaks and burgers from their diets as inflation soars, if beef-packer profit margins are any indication.

Processors like Tyson Foods Inc. and JBS USA are making the least amount of money per head of cattle slaughtered in more than two years, according to data from HedgersEdge LLC. That’s a sign that demand for the luxury meat is flagging.

In my entire life, I have never heard beef called a “luxury meat” before.

But with the way that the price of beef is rising, many Americans will soon only be able to eat it once in a while.

In normal times, those moving away from beef would be able to eat more chicken and more turkey, but thanks to a devastating new outbreak supplies of chicken and turkey are going to be getting a whole lot tighter.  For much more on this, please see an article that I just published entitled “Nearly 2.8 Million Birds (Mostly Chickens And Turkeys) Have Died In The First Month Of America’s Raging New Bird Flu Pandemic”.

Of course it isn’t just meat supplies that are going to be tightening.  Ukraine and Russia normally account for about 30 percent of all global wheat exports, but now the war is going to cause that number to drop precipitously.

As panic about global food supplies spreads, some countries are already placing restrictions on how much can be sent out of the country.

For example, on Wednesday Indonesia “tightened curbs on palm oil exports”.

And in eastern Europe, Serbia, Hungary and Bulgaria have all recently made moves to make sure that their people have enough to eat…

Serbia announced on Wednesday it will ban exports of wheat, corn, flour and cooking oil as of Thursday to counter price increases while Hungary banned all grain exports last week.

Bulgaria has also announced it will increase its grain reserves and might restrict exports until it has carried out planned purchases.

But of even greater concern is what Ukraine has decided to do.

Normally, Ukraine is one of the biggest exporters in the entire world, but now the Ukrainian government has issued an emergency order which essentially bans the export of most food…

Ukraine, known as the “breadbasket of Europe” given it’s long been among the world’s top ten wheat exporters and supplied over $6 billion in agricultural products to the European Union in 2020, has issued an emergency order Wednesday banning the export of grains and other products.

The ban includes the export of wheat, oats, millet, buckwheat, sugar, live cattle, meat, and other products considered vital to the global economy. But amid wartime, and with Ukraine’s government saying many of its citizens are now starving under Russian siege, Ukraine’s minister of agrarian and food policy Roman Leshchenko said the drastic action was taken to avert a “humanitarian crisis in Ukraine,” stabilize the market and “meet the needs of the population in critical food products,” according to the AP.

I can understand why Ukraine has made this decision, but this is going to have a devastating domino effect.  Lebanon normally gets 60 percent of the wheat that it uses from Ukraine, and the fact that they have been cut off from Ukrainian wheat is already causing major problems…

Lebanon could face wheat shortages from July, forcing the government to reduce subsidized flat rounds of Arabic bread, which sustain the 80 percent of Lebanon’s population who live in poverty, according to a report by The Irish Times. Flour mills in Lebanon delivered supplies only to bread bakeries on Monday and Tuesday, forcing bakers who make pastries and thyme pizzas to close as a means of rationing wheat imported from Ukraine, which supplies 60 percent of the country’s wheat needs.

I am stunned when I read things like that.

If the war stretches on for an extended period of time, how bad will things be 6 months from now?

Here in the United States, fertilizer prices are causing havoc for farmers all over the country.

If you don’t believe me, perhaps you will believe a prominent farmer from Iowa that Tucker Carlson just interviewed…

Ben Riensche, the owner of Blue Diamond Farming Company in Iowa and a farmer of 16,000 acres in that state, told Carlson that the sanctions will have a far-reaching impact on our food supplies in the very near future.

“Soaring fertilizer prices are likely to bring spiked food prices,” Riensche said. “If you’re upset that gas is up a dollar or two a gallon, wait until your grocery bill is up $1,000 a month, and it might not just manifest itself in terms of price. It could be quantity as well. Empty-shelf syndrome may be starting.”

Weeks ago, I passed along what a farming insider shared with me.

He explained that some fertilizer prices had doubled or even tripled in price, and he warned that this would make growing corn unprofitable for farmers all over America this year.

And that was before the war in Ukraine started.

Speaking of the war, Goldman Sachs is now telling us that it could result in “one of the largest energy supply shocks ever”…

“Given Russia’s key role in global energy supply, the global economy could soon be faced with one of the largest energy supply shocks ever,” Goldman Sachs said in the Monday night report, adding that the scale of the shock is “potentially enormous.”

I have been writing a lot about the price of oil lately, because it affects just about all of us on a daily basis.

We all have to fill up our vehicles with gasoline, and that is going to become a lot more expensive.  For example, gas prices in Washington D.C. have been shooting up dramatically…

The trajectory of gas prices at the Mobil station four miles north of the White House has been brutal, clocking in at $3.85 a week ago, $4.17 on Friday, then $4.43 Tuesday, leaving Elizabeth Lopez, a mother of three and employer of six, feeling trapped.

“I don’t know how we can do it,” Lopez said, filling up a Chrysler minivan across from a shuttered tire shop in Northwest Washington.

Needless to say, this is just the beginning.

If people think that things are bad now, how are they going to feel when the price of gasoline is six or seven dollars a gallon?

And as the price of gasoline rises, so does gasoline theft.  In fact, it is being reported that thieves are already drilling holes in fuel tanks so that they can siphon off the gasoline inside…

A FOX 11 viewer shared photos of what happened to a vehicle — a thief drilled a hole in the fuel tank, draining all the gas. AAA is seeing a rise in gas siphoning and theft across the country, and now they’re warning car owners about how to keep their vehicles safe.

“This is a sign of the times you know,” AAA’s Doug Shupe said. “It’s thieves looking for ways that they can make money by stealing what is becoming an increasingly more expensive and valuable commodity, gasoline.”

At one time, I never would have imagined that anyone would ever drill a hole in my fuel tank so that they could steal my gasoline.

But times have completely changed, and the worse things get the more desperate people are going to become.

Global events have really started to accelerate, and conditions are changing at a pace that is absolutely breathtaking.

We really have entered a “perfect storm”, and things are only going to get crazier in the months ahead.

Even though war has erupted in Ukraine, most Americans still do not believe that a nuclear war with Russia is a serious threat.  The Cold War doctrine of “mutually assured destruction” has been pounded into our heads so many times that most people simply assume that it would be unthinkable for either side to attempt a nuclear strike.  That may have been true in the 1980s, but things have changed dramatically since that time.  The Russians have developed some extremely impressive weapons and anti-missile systems since the end of the Cold War, but most Americans don’t even know that they exist.

Let’s start with the RS-28 Sarmat.  While the U.S. still relies on hopelessly outdated Minuteman III missiles that first went into service in 1970, the Russians have developed the most advanced intercontinental ballistic missiles on the entire planet…

The RS-28, sometimes known as the “Satan II,” has been in development since 2014, and was famously described as “capable of wiping out parts of the earth the size of Texas or France,” by Russia’s state-owned media. The missile has a range of 6,385 miles and carries a warhead jam-packed with Multiple Independent Reentry Vehicles (MIRV) that boast a combined destructive yield of 50 megatons. In other words, the RS-28 Sarmat carries a destructive yield greater than 35 times that of the Minuteman III.

America’s most powerful nuclear bomb in service, the B83, also boasts just a 1.2 megaton yield, and even the most powerful nuclear weapon in American history, the 9 megaton B53, rings in at less than 1/5 the yield of the mighty Sarmat.

The U.S. military has no way to defend against the Sarmat.

The Russians have also developed a very alarming line of hypersonic missiles that we have no way to defend against.  In fact, the Russians just released footage of the Zircon hypersonic nuclear missile which can travel at speeds of up to 7,000 miles per hour.

Meanwhile, the U.S. is way behind both the Russians and the Chinese when it comes to developing hypersonic missiles.

But if the Russians were to hit the U.S. with a surprise first strike, they would probably utilize their “black hole submarines”…

The mainstay of the Russian Navy’s conventionally powered fleet are Project 877–class submarines, known as the Kilo class to NATO and the West. Nicknamed the “Black Hole” submarine by the U.S. Navy, the Improved Kilos are extremely quiet. The class has been built more or less continuously for thirty years, a testament to their effectiveness at sea.

These “black hole submarines” were designed to be as quiet as possible, and that makes them ideal for a sneak attack…

A lot of silencing went into the Kilos. The hull is described as having the approximate shape of a drop of water and greatly reducing water resistance over older, World War II–era submarine designs. The propulsion plant is isolated on a rubber base so it doesn’t touch the hull, preventing vibrations from turning into noise that can be heard outside the boat. The ship has a rubbery anechoic coating to deaden noise emanating from the submarine, which occasionally gives the submarines a blocky appearance noticeable in photographs. The air regeneration system can keep the crew supplied with oxygen for up to 260 hours, giving the ship almost two weeks’ worth of underwater endurance.

These submarines have the ability to sneak up to our coastlines without us even realizing that they are there.

And once they launch their missiles, we would only have a few moments to respond.

As terrifying as that sounds, many experts are even more concerned about a submarine-launched weapon known as “Poseidon”…

Unlike the submarine-launched nuclear missiles both Russia and the United States maintain as a part of their nuclear triads, the Status-6 (sometimes called “Poseidon” or by its NATO designation of “Kanyon”) is actually a submersible drone. Once deployed by a Russian Navy submarine, the drone can travel autonomously toward its target, covering more than 5,400 miles at depths as low as 3,300 feet. Once it finds its target, the Status-6 simply parks and waits for the command to detonate.

We would never see the Poseidon coming.

Theoretically, the Russians could deploy Poseidons to all of our major coastal cities and detonate them all simultaneously.

Just take a few moments to think about what that would mean.

And it has been reported that some Russian officials have said that the Poseidon “can be equipped with a 100 megaton weapon”…

Onboard this submersible drone is an absolutely massive warhead–with some claims saying it carries the same nuclear yield as the RS-28, and others claiming twice that. According to some Russian officials, the Status-6 can be equipped with a 100 megaton weapon… which is two times more powerful than the largest nuclear weapon ever even tested.

A detonation of that magnitude would not only destroy and irradiate a massive area, its positioning under water would result in a radioactive tsunami that would reach far further inland than the blast itself. In no uncertain terms, the Status-6 is intended to serve as a doomsday weapon. It’s the sort of weapon you build not to win wars, but to end them.

Such a weapon could destroy New York City in the blink of an eye.

But all of these offensive weapons won’t do the Russians much good if they can’t defend against our missiles.

Unfortunately for us, the Russians have developed the most advanced anti-missile systems in the world.  The S-400 and the A-135 are vastly superior to anything that we have, and now the extremely sophisticated S-500 is being put into service…

The S-500 is designed for intercepting and destroying intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as hypersonic cruise missiles and aircraft, for air defense against Airborne Early Warning and Control and for jamming aircraft.^{[citation needed]} With a planned range of 600 km (370 mi) for anti-ballistic missile (ABM) and 500 km (310 mi) for air defense,^[22] the S-500 would be able to detect and simultaneously engage up to 10 ballistic hypersonic targets flying at a speed of 5 kilometres per second (3.1 mi/s)^[23][24] to a limit of 7 km/s (4.3 mi/s).^[25][26] It also aims at destroying hypersonic cruise missiles and other aerial targets at speeds of higher than Mach 5, as well as spacecraft.^{[citation needed]} The altitude of a target engaged can be as high as 180–200 km (110–120 mi).^{[citation needed]} It is effective against ballistic missiles with a launch range of 3,500 km (2,200 mi), the radar reaches a radius of 3,000 km (1,300 km for the EPR 0,1 square meter).^[27][28] Other targets it has been announced to defend against include: unmanned aerial vehicles, low Earth orbit satellites, and space weapons launched from hypersonic aircraft, and hypersonic orbital platforms.^[29]

If Russia were to launch a nuclear attack against us, we would definitely be destroyed.

But most Americans don’t realize that the Russians now have systems that have been specifically designed to handle whatever we might throw at them.

In other words, the balance of power has shifted.

But most of our leaders continue to mock the idea that the Russians are a threat to us.  For example, just consider these recent comments from U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham…

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., echoed Risch’s sentiment that the conflict will not escalate to the most dire situation.

“Well it’s not going to be World War III – this is all a bluff,” Graham said during an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures.” “Putin knows that no one wins a nuclear exchange. If he ordered a strike on the United States, a general would shoot him in the head.”

It is this sort of thinking that could eventually get all of us killed.

Without a doubt, I believe that the Russians do not actually want a nuclear war.

But the Russians have been preparing for one for several decades.

And when that day finally arrives, it won’t be the U.S. that has the upper hand.

This is an article that I have been wanting to write for a while, because China is going to be such a central player in the global drama that is going to play out over the next few years.  Since Joe Biden entered the White House, the deterioration of Chinese relations with the United States has accelerated.  Meanwhile, Chinese relations with Russia have tightened, and that should deeply alarm all of us.  Because now that war has started, many are deeply concerned that the U.S. could eventually find itself in a direct conflict with a Russian-Chinese alliance.

Jake Sullivan and other foreign policy officials in the Biden administration desperately want China to denounce the Russian invasion of Ukraine and to participate in economic sanctions against Russia.

But neither of those things is going to happen, and this is making Biden’s foreign security minions very angry.

Of course the Chinese have their own agenda.  They are watching how western powers are responding to Russia very closely, because the Chinese believe that it will give them clues about how the western powers will behave when they pull the trigger on an invasion of Taiwan.

And an invasion of Taiwan is most certainly coming sooner or later.  In fact, the Chinese likely understand that they have now been given a tremendous window of opportunity for a couple of reasons.

Number one, events in Afghanistan and Ukraine have exposed the weakness of American leadership.  If the Chinese are going to launch an invasion, they will almost certainly want to do it before Joe Biden is voted out in 2024.

Secondly, the attention of the western world is on Ukraine right now.  So if China invades, the ire of the western world will be split between both Russia and China.

And since the U.S. would be forced to maintain a strong military presence in Europe to protect NATO allies, it would make it even less likely that the U.S. would be able to intervene effectively in Taiwan.

Unlike the situation in Ukraine before the war, a diplomatic solution with China simply will not be possible.

The Chinese believe that Taiwan is Chinese territory, and they are absolutely determined to bring it back under their control one way or the other.

The only question is timing, and the timing has never been better than it is now.

The following are 10 signs that U.S. relations with China are deteriorating and that an invasion of Taiwan is drawing near…

#1 Jake Sullivan is warning that China “will not go unpunished” if it helps Russia get around U.S. economic sanctions…

China will not go unpunished if it helps Russia evade economic sanctions enacted in response to its invasion of Ukraine, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said Sunday on CNN.

The White House official made it clear that such actions would “absolutely” have consequences for Beijing and explained that the U.S. is closely monitoring any and all support China is currently providing Russia.

#2 Hu Xijin is a very important figure in China, and he is very close to officials at the very top of the Chinese government.  In response to Jake Sullivan’s threats, he stated that Sullivan is going to be “disappointed”…

Hu Xijin, former editor-in-chief of the state-backed Chinese Global Times newspaper, said on Twitter: “If Sullivan thinks he can persuade China to participate in sanctions against Russia, he will be disappointed.”

#3 U.S. officials are accusing Russia of asking China for military equipment for the war in Ukraine…

Russia has turned to China for military equipment and aid in the weeks since it began its invasion of Ukraine, U.S. officials familiar with the matter told The Washington Post.

The officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject, did not describe what kind of weaponry had been requested, or whether they know how China responded.

#4 The Chinese responded to this new U.S. accusation very bluntly…

According to Reuters, when asked about claims that Russia is requesting military help from China, the spokesperson for China’s embassy in Washington responded “I’ve never heard of that.”

#5 The Chinese have steadfastly refused to call Russia’s military action in Ukraine an “invasion”.

#6 The Chinese have blamed the U.S. and NATO for pushing relations between Russia and Ukraine to a “breaking point”.

#7 As China continues to make preparations for a potential invasion of Taiwan, the Chinese are warning that any nation that supports Taiwan militarily will face the “worst consequences”…

Any country supporting Taiwan militarily would face the “worst consequences,” China’s government warned Saturday, adding that “no one and no force” would be able to stop the Communist Party if it took action against the island country, according to a report.

China’s relationship with Taiwan has come into focus against the backdrop of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with the island bolstering its own defenses since the war started in case of aggression from the mainland.

#8 In recent months, China has flown fighter jets into Taiwan’s air defense zone time after time…

China has taken a more aggressive stance against the Democratic island nation lately, sending a record number of fighter jets into Taiwan’s air defense zone late last year.

And last month, as Russian tanks rolled into Ukraine, nine Chinese aircraft entered Taiwan’s air defense zone, prompting a broadcast warning from the island nation.

#9 Taiwanese authorities are very much aware that the invasion of Ukraine makes an invasion of Taiwan much more likely, and some of them believe that hostilities are already beginning.  Just recently, one official actually accused the Chinese of engaging in “cyberwarfare” against his nation…

National Security Bureau Director-General Chen Ming-tong (陳明通) said that China, taking advantage of the conflict in Ukraine, has heightened its political and economic pressure on Taiwan.

“This includes military threats, with China continuing its united front tactics and cognitive warfare to spread disinformation and penetrate our society. China is also engaging in cyberwarfare, stepping up hacker attacks and other tactics to intimidate us,” Chen said.

Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen visited army reservists training under a new scheme to bolster war readiness on Saturday, a programme that has gotten added impetus from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, given China’s bellicosity against the island.

#11 Experts all over the western world agree that China is moving closer to Russia because the Chinese are convinced that an eventual showdown with the United States is inevitable…

“China’s policy is based on Xi Jinping’s view of China’s interests, and he sees the United States as implacably hostile,” Bonnie Glaser, a China scholar at the German Marshall Fund, told me. “He sees Russia as his only ally against the United States and the other democracies…. I don’t think China can in any way be neutral.”

“At a strategic and diplomatic level, they’ve clearly leaned toward Russia,” agreed Evan Feigenbaum, a former State Department official now at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. “It’s a deliberate choice.”

Let us hope that a Chinese invasion of Taiwan can be put off for as long as possible, because once that happens the U.S. and China will essentially be in a state of war from that point forward.

And considering the fact that both sides have nuclear weapons, that is not something that we should want.

Not too long ago, an article that was posted on Yahoo News envisioned what a Chinese invasion of Taiwan might look like…

Airstrikes would quickly aim to kill Taiwan’s top political and military leaders, while also immobilizing local defenses. The Chinese military has described some drills as “decapitation” exercises, and satellite imagery shows its training grounds include full-scale replicas of targets such as the Presidential Office Building.

An invasion would follow, with PLA warships and submarines traversing some 130 kilometers (80 miles) across the Taiwan Strait. Outlying islands such as Kinmen and Pratas could be quickly subsumed before a fight for the Penghu archipelago, which sits just 50 kilometers from Taiwan and is home to bases for all three branches of its military. A PLA win here would provide it with a valuable staging point for a broader attack.

It would be a horrible, horrible conflict, and of course the Russians would fully support the Chinese invasion.

So what would the Biden administration do in such a scenario?

Some believe that the Biden administration would just sit back and let China take Taiwan, but I believe that the Biden administration would feel compelled to intervene.

And that would mean the kind of shooting war with China that I have long warned about.

If the Biden administration would have been willing to work out a diplomatic solution with Russia regarding Ukraine, the Russian invasion never would have happened.

And if the Russians had never invaded Ukraine, a Chinese invasion of Taiwan would be far less likely.

But now the dominoes are starting to fall, and if China invades Taiwan that will actually make a North Korean invasion of South Korea far more likely.

We are at such a critical turning point, and we are trusting Joe Biden and his minions to guide us through this crisis.

Needless to say, we are holding a losing hand, and time is running out.

Russia’s war on Ukraine is continuing to boost food prices. While the US and European countries are engaged in economic warfare against Moscow, it appears Russia’s turn to strike back has emerged.

On Thursday, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said Russia decided to suspend fertilizer exports. This comes when global food prices are at record highs, and European fertilizer makers are struggling to produce nutrients ahead of the spring growing season, increasing global food inflation risks.

President Vladimir Putin said the fertilizer export ban was a move to ensure stable domestic food prices. This is another sign of growing protectionism worldwide as countries grapple with soaring food prices. Putin said fertilizer markets are deteriorating, making food a lot more expensive.

Notably, Putin added that Russia has agreements with “friendly countries” on fertilizers.

Making matters worse, Interfax, an independent Russian news agency, reported earlier that Moscow is considering retaliatory economic measures to ban exports of certain agricultural products to countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union.

Interfax said Moscow could temporarily ban grain exports to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and ban sugar exports beyond the EEU. This may result in declining food supplies for those countries and soaring food costs.

Add this to the fertilizer ban and Europe and maybe the West is headed for a major food crisis. 

Possible Russian retaliatory measures follow a series of Western sanctions on Russia, which have collapsed the ruble, locked the central bank out of a large chunk of its foreign-currency savings, and crushed its ability to trade with the outside world by removing certain Russian banks from SWIFT.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been quoted well before the invasion of Ukraine of the need to strengthen an emerging multipolar world order.

“It is important to maintain and boost mutually respectful, constructive and effective cooperation globally, as well as to strengthen the emerging multipolar world order that consists of independent centers of economic growth and political influence, which certainly includes BRICS,” Putin emphasized.

It’s early to declare if Western sanctions will paralyze Russia, but what appears to be happening is that the global economy is becoming more fractured than ever as a great power struggle between the West and East flourishes.

Earlier this week, Russian banks that were cut off from SWIFT turned to China’s state-owned UnionPay system. Also, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Thursday its oil and gas firms have other buyers as many Western nations halt or wind down purchases for energy products.

The global economy is splintering, and Russia could be inclined to unleash retaliatory economic measures outside the Eurasian Economic Union. This area in Eastern Europe, Western Asia, and Central Asia, is also home to some of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, also known as One Belt One Road… and likely includes numerous so-called “friendly countries” including China.

Meanwhile, China FM Spokesperson, Zhao Lijian was quoted earlier today as saying Beijing will retaliate with a “serious response” if the US hits sanctions on China over Ukraine. 

Things are getting a little bit out of control.

To sum up, Russia banning fertilizer and the possibility of certain agricultural products to the West will result in elevated food prices. At the same time, we see a multipolar world order emerging that is bringing Moscow and Beijing closer by the day.

The World Health Organization advised Ukraine to destroy ‘high-threat pathogens’ in the country’s public health laboratories in order to prevent “any potential spills” that might infect the population during the Russian invasion, Reuters reports.

“As part of this work, WHO has strongly recommended to the Ministry of Health in Ukraine and other responsible bodies to destroy high-threat pathogens to prevent any potential spills,” said the UN agency.

The report comes after a tense back-and-forth between US and Russian officials over “dangerous” Biolabs in the country – with Russia, and then China, accusing the US military of involvement in Ukraine’s Biolabs.

On Wednesday, Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova repeated a longstanding claim that the United States operates a biowarfare lab in Ukraine, an accusation that has been repeatedly denied by Washington and Kyiv.

Zakharova said that documents unearthed by Russian forces in Ukraine showed “an emergency attempt to erase evidence of military biological programmes” by destroying lab samples. -Reuters

The US has denied the allegations – issuing (among other things) a Thursday statement that “The United States does not have chemical or biological weapons labs in Ukraine,” adding that America “does not develop or possess chemical and biological weapons anywhere.”

On Tuesday, US Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland acknowledged that Ukraine “has biological research facilities, which, in fact, we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of. So we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can prevent any of those research materials from falling into the hands of Russian forces should they approach.”

Nuland’s answer made clear that whatever is inside Ukraine’s Biolabs is a serious concern, however it should be noted that there’s no public evidence of bioweapons, nor did the WHO statement make reference to biowarfare – which is a separate issue from whether the laboratories contained, or contain, dangerous pathogens which could be used in a bioweapon. 

In response to Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova’s Wednesday claim that the US is operating a biowarfare lab in Ukraine, a Ukrainian presidential spokesperson said: “Ukraine strictly denies any such allegation.”

The UN Security Council will convene on Friday at Russia’s request to discuss the claims.
