10 Prepper Supplies EVERYONE Is Overlooking

If you’re looking for a list of CRITICAL prepper supplies, you should START with my “best prepper supplies” video.

That’s not what we’re talking about today.

Today, I’m covering a bunch of supplies I think EVERYONE is overlooking. Prepper supplies you may have never considered stockpiling – until today.

Many of these prepper supplies are in the “NICE TO HAVE” rather than “the essential” category. But can help make life during a long-term crisis more comfortable.

Ok, preamble, let’s jump in…

As A Way To Introduce You To Skilled Survival, We’re Giving Away Our #78 Item Complete Prepper Checklist. Click Here To Get Your FREE Copy Of It.

NOTE: Here’s the video of the same information as you’ll read below IF you prefer video:

1.  Pet Supplies (Food / Water)

If you own pets of any kind, make sure to prepare with their needs in mind.

Dog and cats are the most popular pets, so stockpile extra kibble for them.

You’ll also want to factor pets into your water supplies.

How much? I’ll let you decide. Small cats and dogs tend to drink less than large breeds.

And if you own livestock, put serious backup supplies or systems in place for them.

Here’s some gear that may help prepare with your pets in mind.

2. Contact Lens/ Spare Glasses

If you wear corrective lenses of any kind, it’s wise to have backups.

It’s foolish to assume new contacts or glasses will be available during a crisis.

And what happens once the ones you currently wear run out or get damaged? Well, you could be out of luck and poor eyesight could become a major disadvantage.

I couldn’t shoot the broad side of a barn without my contacts or glasses on. Driving a vehicle becomes dangerous – especially at night. Scouting for dangers is nearly impossible.

Heck, I can’t even tell if someone is a friend or foe from any reasonable distance until it’s too late.

These are all MAJOR disadvantages during any emergency.

If you primarily wear contacts have lots of spares and lots of contact solution/cleaner as well. You may also want to have a spare set of glasses as well.

And if you primarily wear glasses, it’s not a bad idea to keep a spare set in your prepper supplies – just in case.

3. Coffee

Coffee may seem like a luxury item, and you’d be right. Nobody NEEDS coffee to survive. But coffee can also help keep you stimulated and active.

For example, what happens if you’re working with a survival coalition and putting a military sleep schedule in place to patrol your bug out location?

We’ll, coffee will help you stay awake and alert during those long late nights of being a lookout.

That’s just one extreme example, where coffee is a survival advantage. Plus, for many folks, including myself, I love having a morning cup of coffee. It’s a morale booster.

So having a bit of coffee during a prolonged emergency might be a luxury that’s worth adding to your prepper supplies today.

4. Favorite Candy Bars / Sweets

This is another extreme luxury item. Sure, you CAN survive without your Snickers or Baby Ruth candy bars, but why? You don’t need to IF you plan ahead.

If you store candy bars properly, they can last a very long time. Or you can buy some extra and start doing a bit of a rotation – always maintain a fresh supply at the ready.

And hard candies can last dang-near-forever without any special storage instructions.

Now, don’t go overboard. And realize in a worst-case scenario, you’ll want to ration these as much as possible. But having a small taste of a favorite treat can be a major morale booster when the world is a scary place.

5. Books / Puzzles / Boardgames / Toys With High REPLAY Value

In a prolonged crisis, I’m talking about several months/years, there will be some VERY boring days. I’m talking about lots of hunkering down in your bug out location, bunker, or home.

Folks overlook this prepper supply because when we think crisis, we project a lot of fear and action. We can imagine sitting around doing nothing.

But if there was a nuclear explosion you may need to hunker down for a month or 2 until the nuclear fallout cleared. Well, that’s a ton of mind-numbing “hunkering down” …

You’ll need a way to pass the time without going nuts.

Good books, puzzles, and board games can become moral boosters and a resilient way to enjoy downtime. I’m talking about ones you’ll enjoy playing several times if necessary.

And if you have younger kids, toys with a TON of replay value are the most resilient – like LEGOS.

Jack’s Good Book Picks:

6. Acoustic Musical Instruments (and spare parts)

Now, if you play an acoustic instrument, you likely have one at your disposal. I’m talking about a guitar, a fiddle, a flute, a trumpet, a harmonica, etc.

So you probably already have an instrument you can enjoy during the long boring hours.

Plus, if you’re talented, others will enjoy hearing you play. This happened all across the world during the initial wave of COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

But what if you don’t currently play? Well, I suggest a long-term crisis could be a perfect time to learn…

I mean, there’s no reason you can’t add a harmonica and some sheet music to your prepper supplies.

It’s a perfect worst-case instrument to learn in a pinch. Plus, if you get good at it, it’s a delightful instrument to listen to, and it’s so easy to take anywhere if you must bug out. I mean, it easily fits in a pocket!

And if your instrument has parts that wear out (such as guitar strings), then you’ll want a nice stash of those in your prepper supplies as well.

7. Lots Of Extra Gas Mask Filters

CBRN GAS MASK FILTER NBC-77Having a gas mask is great, but only if you have ample filters to go with it.

A gas mask becomes a Silly Halloween Mask if you run out of filters.

Now, I can’t tell you how many filters you should stockpile. There are too many variables like the nature of the crisis, how often you’re forced to enter a dangerous zone, etc.

But I’d rather have a few too many filters than not enough. Because if the very air you breathe causes instant or premature death (viruses, nuclear fallout, chemical attacks, etc.), you’ll want a healthy supply of filters.

Recommendation: My favorite gas mask supplier is MIRA SAFETY.

8. Sewing Kit & Supplies

If your clothes tear, you might not be able to afford (or even get access to) new ones. So you should learn how to sew and stockpile a sewing kit and supplies.

Now, I’m talking about old-school sewing by hand ONLYNOT BY SEWING MACHINE. You can’t assume you’ll have access to enough power to run a modern-day sewing machine.

Instead, focusing on adding patches to holes in jeans, tears in a shirt, etc. It doesn’t need to look pretty in a crisis; you’re not trying to win any embroidery awards; it just needs to be functional.

9. Contraceptives

This one is highly dependent on your personal situation. But for some folks, having a backup supply of contraceptives is a wise move. During the early days of a crisis, a pregnancy may not be ideal for you.

So, I’m not going to go into extreme detail here, but for some folks, this could be a prepper supply you really wish you had AFTER a crisis hits but have thus far overlooked it.

10. Daily Vitamins

You must assume in a crisis that you’ll not have unfettered access to a grocery store. Perhaps it’s too dangerous to go there, or maybe it’s completely wiped out of goods.

Either way, you don’t want to rely solely on survival foods to provide all of your nutritional needs.

I highly recommend stocking up on some well-balanced daily vitamins. That way, you can keep your body healthy even if you’re forced into eating only rice and beans for days on end.

Pfizer Will Be Ready In A Few Days To Ask For FDA Approval To Inject Children With The “Vaccine”

Pfizer’s CEO says that the big pharma company will be ready in a few days to ask the Food and Drug Administration for their “approval” to inject children ages 5-11 with the COVID-19 “vaccine.”

“It is a question of days, not weeks,” Pfizer Chairman and CEO Albert Bourla told ABC News Sunday about when the company will submit data on children ages 5 to 11 to the FDA for consideration, according to a report by CNN. As of right now, the “vaccines” are only approved for children over the age of 12. Since the ruling class’s goal is to inject every single human on Earth with whatever is in those syringes, we should all be ready for them to give this the green light.

Once the data from Pfizer/BioNTech is in, it will have to go through two committees, one for the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and one for the CDC, CNN Medical Analyst Dr. Johnathan Reiner said Sunday. If the data comes in this week, it would likely be in committee by the end of October, he added.

And there is a lot of data for them to look at, he said. “This is a vaccine for children, so getting the dose right — in terms of efficacy and side effects — is crucial,” Reiner said.

They are going to try to force this vaccine on kids just like the rest of the population. In an article by CNN, they admitted that the propaganda will be dialed up to a maximum to try to get people convinced their children need these shots.

In response, officials need to do a better job educating the public about the importance of vaccination for the health of their children and their families as a whole, Reiner said.

“If you want kids in school, the best way to keep them in school is to keep them from getting Covid,” he said. -CNN

Brace for the increase in propaganda, people pulling their kids from school if they mandate the shots, and a wave of unemployment and even greater labor shortage as people continue to refuse these shots. The rulers are slowly figuring out we don’t want their injections, and that means the pressure to take them will intensify. So stay alert to what’s being reported.

What Is Honey Powder?

Honey starts as flower nectar and honeydew (sugary residue left by other insects).

Foraging bees collect nectar and honeydew. They store it in an organ called the proventriculus or “honey stomach” and return to their hive. They then regurgitate it, transferring it to worker bees.

The bees digest the nectar together as a group, passing it back and forth. Enzymes in their honey stomachs make the nectar more acidic by breaking down starches and proteins.

The enzymes also convert the nectar’s sucrose to glucose and fructose.

After digestion, the honey solution is 50-70% water and contains natural yeast. The bees transport the honey to the hive’s honeycombs and place the honey in its cells for storage.

The cells are left unsealed, and the bees heat up the area around the honeycombs with their bodies. They maintain a temperature of around 95 degrees F. The heat speeds up evaporation and reduces the water content of the honey to around 18%.

It also raises the sugar concentration beyond the saturation point. These changes prevent fermentation, which would spoil the honey. When the process is complete, the bees seal the cells with wax caps.

If the honey is for human consumption, the next step is to remove the honeycomb. Usually, beekeepers subdue the bees beforehand.

They sometimes do this with smoke, which triggers a feeding reflex and makes the bees less aggressive. Keepers remove the honeycomb and extract the honey.

The honey is often filtered to remove pieces of honeycomb and other debris.

Sometimes, other sugars and compounds are added to honey. This is referred to as “adulteration”. According to the USDA, a product cannot be labeled as “honey” or “pure honey” if it has been adulterated.

How Is Honey Powder Made?

Honey powder is made by dehydrating pure honey until all or most of the moisture has evaporated. There are several ways that honey is turned into honey powder commercially.

The main method is spray drying. This process involves spraying the honey through an atomizer into a heated chamber. Streams of hot air are shot into the chamber and evaporate the moisture in the honey.

The dried honey is then ground down into a fine powder.

Another way to make powdered honey is by freeze-drying. This process is also known as cryodesiccation. This method involves freezing the honey in a chamber and then lowering the pressure in the container.

The lowered pressure causes a reaction called sublimation. This reaction removes the ice (i.e., the moisture) from the frozen honey. This leaves behind powdered honey, which is often further ground for consistency.

Can I Make My Own Honey Powder?

Yes, you can make your own honey powder.

The only major downside is that the process is somewhat time-consuming. However, if you have the time and equipment, you can easily make DIY honey powder at home.

DIY Honey Powder Recipe

There are two main ways to make DIY honey powder. We will call one “the dehydrator method” and the other “the candy method”.

Dehydrator Method

For this recipe, you will need the following:

  • Food dehydrator
  • Cookie sheet or parchment paper
  • Spatula
  • Mortar and pestle or a food processor

It is best to use a food dehydrator for this recipe. However, if you don’t have a food processor, you can use an oven instead. Just make sure to be extra careful about temperature regulation.

Note: this recipe usually takes 24-48 hours to complete. While it is a “set it and forget it” process, you should expect that it will take one to two days.

  1. Line the tray of the dehydrator with the cookie sheet.
  2. Pour honey over the sheet. Use the spatula to spread the honey out. Most of the sheet should be covered with a layer of honey 1/8th of an inch thick.
  3. Set your dehydrator to 120 degrees F. Make sure not to let the temperature rise much higher than 120 degrees. Higher temperatures will burn the honey.
  4. Let the dehydrator run for 24-48 hours until the honey is crisp.
  5. Once the honey is crisp, remove it from the dehydrator. Let it cool to room temperature. Cool your honey in a dry place if possible. Avoid drying your honey in areas with excess humidity.
  6. Granulate your honey with either your food processor or your mortar and pestle. Continue grinding until you have a fine powder.
  7. Pour the powder into sealable containers. For long-term storage, add a desiccant pouch. Seal the containers and store them.

Candy Method

For this recipe, you will need:

  • An oven
  • Silicone (not parchment) cookie sheets
  • Candy thermometer
  • Large pot
  • Silicone spatula
  • Food processor or mortar and pestle
  1. Pour the honey into the pot. Cook until the honey is 300 degrees (measure it with the candy thermometer). Stir continually to prevent burning.
  2. Once the honey hits 300 degrees, remove the pot from the flame.
  3. Pour the honey onto the baking sheet right away. Use the spatula to spread it 1/8th of an inch thick.
  4. Let the honey cool until it reaches a “hard crack” consistency.
  5. Once the honey is fully cooled and hardened, remove it from the sheet. Use a mortar and pestle or food processor to grind it down into a powder.
  6. Transfer the powder to a sealable jar. Add a desiccant pouch for long-term storage.

Is Honey Powder Healthy?

Honey powder is a healthy food. It has several major health benefits as a food source. It has also been used medicinally throughout history and may have therapeutic properties.

The health advantages of honey include:

Great Source of Vitamins and Minerals

Honey powder contains many essential vitamins and minerals. The benefits of these vitamins and minerals increase if you eat large amounts of honey on a regular basis.

They include:

  • Vitamin C (for healthy bones, blood, skin, and cells)
  • Many B-Complex Vitamins (essential for digestion and multi-system health)
  • Calcium (for heart health as well as healthy bones, muscles, and nerves)
  • Potassium (for heart, nerve, cell, and muscle health)
  • Zinc (for a healthy immune system and metabolism)
  • Copper (for multi-system health)
  • Iron (for blood health)
  • Magnesium (for disease prevention, muscle and nerve health, and energy production)
  • Folic Acid (for healthy red blood cells)
  • Selenium (for reproductive and thyroid health, cell health, and protection from free radicals)

Honey powder also has a number of beneficial bioactive plant compounds and antioxidants. These include the powerful combo of organic acids and phenolic compounds (such as flavonoids).

Antioxidants like these can help prevent heart disease, cancer, and strokes. The antioxidants in Manuka honey in particular may be linked to lower blood pressure.

Antibacterial and Antiseptic

Honey has been found to have antiseptic and antibacterial properties. This means it can help disinfect burns and wounds and clear up infections.

It is antimicrobial and can fight fungus, viruses, and bacteria. It has even been found to fight antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

Additionally, an enzyme found in honey (glucose oxidase) naturally produces hydrogen peroxide when combined with water.

Honey is likely more effective as an antibacterial/antiseptic in its original form. However, the honey powder can still be very beneficial when used in salves and other balms.

May Improve Cholesterol

Honey may improve cholesterol levels. Studies have shown that it can reduce total and “bad” (LDL) cholesterol while raising “good” (HDL) cholesterol.

Reducing bad cholesterol significantly reduces the chances of heart disease.

May Lower Triglyceride Levels

High levels of triglycerides increase the risk of heart disease and insulin resistance/type 2 diabetes. Several studies have indicated that regularly eating honey may lower your triglyceride levels. This is especially true when you use honey to replace sugar.

Good for the Hair and Skin

One of the oldest uses of honey is for hair and skin. You can mix it with olive oil and use it as a deep conditioner. Simply let sit for 20 minutes and then shampoo as normal.

Additionally, honey can cleanse, nourish, and moisturize skin. This is largely due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. You can also use it as a spot treatment for acne.

Aids Digestion and Eases Acid Reflux

Honey can aid digestion in several ways. The antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties can help with several stomach problems.

These include digestive problems, acid reflux, diarrhea, and stomach ulcers, cramping, and constipation. It is also a potent prebiotic. This means that it nourishes the good bacteria in your gut that help with digestion.

Honey powder can be especially helpful as a digestive aid when mixed with equal parts apple cider vinegar and diluted with water.

Cough and Sore Throat Remedy

Honey is well-known for its ability to help with sore throats, especially when added to hot tea. This is likely due to its ability to calm inflamed membranes in the throat.

Honey is also a powerful cough suppressant. Studies have suggested that it can be just as effective as dextromethorphan (the main ingredient in many OTC cough meds).

Note: Honey may contain dormant spores of a type of botulism, which can be dangerous to infants. Honey of any kind (including honey powder) should never be given to children under 1 year old.

How Long Does Honey Powder Last? What is the Best Way to Store Honey Powder?

One of the biggest benefits of honey (including honey powder) is its outstandingly long shelf life.

In fact, it is among the longest-lasting foods known to man. Honey unearthed from Egyptian tombs was found to still be edible after thousands of years.

Honey is so well-known for its long shelf life that it has been used to preserve other foods.

Honey’s naturally long shelf life likely comes from an enzyme produced by bees. The enzyme, glucose oxidase, makes honey acidic and suppresses bacterial growth.

This means that properly stored honey has virtually no shelf life!

This applies to honey powder as well as regular honey. Commercial honey powder will usually have an official shelf-life (often 20-30 years).

However, properly stored honey powder can last far longer than that. This makes it an excellent addition to any long-term food store.

Honey dust powder is also very easy to store. You can store it in any size or shape of a sealable container. This can be especially useful for people with limited storage space.

It is best when kept in a cool, dry place (ideally no warmer than 75 degrees F).

How Do I Use Powdered Honey?

Honey powder is incredibly versatile. For one thing, you can reconstitute most commercial honey powders.

If you want to reconstitute powdered honey, gradually mix around one cup of powder with ¼ cup of water in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Continue stirring throughout the process. After simmering, remove your saucepan from the flame and let cool.

You can use the cooled honey like you would use regular honey and store it in sealable containers.

Honey dust powder can also be used in powdered form in a number of ways. It has many uses in the kitchen, including:

  • As a sugar substitute
  • In salad dressings (with olive oil and apple cider vinegar)
  • For glazes and marinades
  • In stir-fry’s
  • For tea, coffee, and smoothies
  • Baked into bread, pretzels, and dinner rolls for extra sweetness
  • In batters for cakes and other baked desserts
  • For anning recipes (like jams and preserved fruits)
  • In dehydrator recipes (like dried fruits)
  • In compound honey butter
  • Sprinkled over hot cereals like oatmeal
  • Sprinkled over fresh fruits
  • On nuts and seeds before roasting

It can also be used medicinally in many different ways, including:

  • As a deep conditioner for your hair
  • In tea as a throat remedy
  • Combined with apple cider vinegar and water to aid digestion
  • As a skin scrub
  • For healing as an agent for burns, cuts, or other wounds
  • As a cough remedy
  • As a spot solution for acne

An Industry Insider Just Revealed The Truth About What Is Really Behind The Shortages At Our Local Supermarkets

The supply chain crisis that our supermarkets are facing is far worse than the mainstream media has been telling us.  The mainstream media keeps trying to put a happy face on the “temporary” shortages, but an industry insider has let me know what is really going on behind the scenes.  This particular insider runs a grocery store in Maine, and he says that things are as bad as he has ever seen.  In fact, he says that he has “never seen anything close to what is happening now”.  The email that he sent me the other day greatly alarmed me, and I asked him if I could share it with all of you.  He gave me permission to do so, as long as I didn’t use his name.  I haven’t received an email this startling in a long time.  As you read this email, I think that you will quickly understand why I am saying that…

I’m self employed for 25 years, now, independent IGA affiliated grocery store in coastal Maine.

Supply issues are real! My supplier has limited us on orders for about a month now (limited the physical number of cases we can order)

Their issue is/was mainly the help crisis in their warehouse … order pickers and truck drivers. Same story everywhere, I know. Many of the items your reader commented about in this article are the same here … very limited gatorade, and gallon water is sketchy at best. Sometimes we get it, sometimes we don’t. I’ve not seen many supply issues in produce, rather poor quality issues there. Much more than normal. Deli / bakery … yes, lots of out of stocks and “long term unavailable” as my supplier likes to word it on the invoice.

In the center store – dry grocery … like others are saying, tons of out of stocks.

Meat supply is “fair” but pricing is extremely high. Shockingly high to me. The middle class is slowly being destroyed with these prices hikes … death by 1000 cuts of sorts, I guess.

My Frito Lay delivery person tells me that he is getting 55-60% of what he’s ordering. My last Nabisco order had 30% out of stocks. Over the years, we always get 99-100% of what was ordered. Pepperidge Farm Cookies … he tells me some weeks he’s only getting HALF of what he orders. These folks all work on commission …. if they don’t (or can’t) sell it to me … they don’t get paid. Or get paid less. When we place our liquor order (twice a week) out of stocks there are running 30% most orders. This commodity was ALWAYS 99.5 to 100% fill rate over the years …. always.

It’s frustrating. As I said … self employed 25 years, and worked for Kroger for 25 years before that … so 50-51 years in this business.

Never seen anything close to what is happening now. Add to that — a far left governor, and both houses here in Maine democrat controlled …. I just know we are on the verge of another mask mandate, and a lock down of sorts would not surprise me again as we move into the colder months. As you’ve seen I’m sure, Maine is in the news with COVID case surges (so they say)

I come to work every day just holding my breath for what is next … for our business and the 35 people I employ here in Maine.

This industry insider is trying to order normal quantities, but his suppliers are often unable to completely fulfill them.

As you can see from the email, the shortages are widespread, and this is the worst that they have been during the entire pandemic so far.

If there is something that you need to stock up on, I would grab it if it is still on the shelves, because pretty soon it may be completely gone.

On Friday I went to the grocery store and they were out of several things that I wanted to purchase.  Unfortunately, we continue to get more confirmations that this is going to become the “new normal”.

For example, according to Bloomberg meat reserves in this country have plunged to dangerously low levels…

A U.S. report Wednesday showed beef reserves down 7.7% from a year ago in August. Poultry supplies slumped 20% and pork bellies, which are sliced into bacon, dropped 44% to the lowest levels since 2017.

In most cases supermarkets still have meat on the shelves, but it is definitely a lot more expensive than it used to be, and we are being told to brace ourselves for more price hikes in the months ahead.

Of course other types of retailers are facing severe supply shocks as well.  A few days ago, another reader sent me an email in which he described what he is seeing at his local pharmacy…

The big issue, however, is at the local drug store; Rite Aid. The place is thin at best and stripped in some areas (last week there was no Zinc available). The beer cases are notably sparse. The main issue, however, is at the pharmacy. Six or eight months ago you could walk in and have your prescription filled inside of 20 minutes. If you called in the prescription the day before it was waiting for you. Not so any more. Yesterday I went to pick up an RX for my wife that had been called in last week. Not only was it not ready but I had to wait an hour before it was filled. There were nine cars in the drive up queue. I opted to walk in and it was nearly as bad. The young woman that helped me was clearly not local with bicolor hair and a large, glaringly obvious, in your face, Baphomet symbol around her neck.

I had a chat with the manager on the way out and asked him what was up with the Pharmacy staffing. I hadn’t seen the regular pharmacist for a few months. He blamed it all on the city for not having any affordable housing (lame) and mentioned that Albertson’s pharmacy, Albertson’s and Ridley’s were all very short on help (true).

Right now, dozens and dozens of drugs are in short supply.

In fact, the official FDA drug shortage list has 149 entries on it right now.

That is the most that I have ever seen.

As shortages persist, retailers are going to start implementing more limits.  Last week, we learned that Costco has already started to pull the trigger

Costco on Thursday said it was reinstating limits on purchases of toilet paper, paper towels and bottled water.

They don’t call it “rationing”, but that is essentially what it is.

And we are also being told to expect significant price increases, because supply chain issues are causing costs to go through the roof

Costco this week joined the long list of retailers sounding the alarm about escalating shipping prices and the accompanying supply chain issues. The warehouse retailer, which had a similar cautionary tone in May, was joined by athletic wear giant Nike and economic bellwethers FedEx and General Mills in discussing similar concerns.

The cost to ship containers overseas has soared in recent months. Getting a 40-foot container from Shanghai to New York cost about $2,000 a year and a half ago, just before the Covid pandemic. Now, it runs some $16,000, according to Bank of America.

I have been warning that rampant inflation and shortages were coming for a long time, but a lot of people didn’t want to believe me at first.

If you were one of those doubters, do you believe me now?

During the first half of this year, many economic optimists assured us that the U.S. economy would be “booming” by this point.

But instead our economic infrastructure is being shaken on a very basic level, and we are facing enormous price hikes and very painful shortages throughout the rest of this year and into next year.

Events have begun to slide out of control, and it certainly wouldn’t take too much to push us into a full-blown avalanche.

Organizing Patriots In The Face Of Government Informants And False Flags

This article was originally published by Brandon Smith at Alt-Market.us.

EDITOR’S NOTE: As mentioned, waiting on the correct political leader is going to leave us subjugated and disempowered. We are the ones we have been waiting for. We have the power, not the ruling class. If only we could realize it, come together as human beings, and realize we do not have to be their slaves, and no amount of pomp and circumstance and voting can make them our rightful master. Government is slavery. They believe they have the right to rule us and most believe they have an obligation to be their slaves. Opening our eyes is the first step. The second step is laid out here, in Mr. Smith’s article. Unite, organize, resist, empower.

There is a simple fact that must be understood when it comes to the fight for liberty: Such a fight cannot be won by lone individuals. Freedom requires organized resistance and it does not matter how many millions of people stand against an authoritarian regime, if they are completely isolated from each other they WILL lose. It’s a guarantee.

This is why a considerable portion of establishment money, energy, and propaganda is directed at defusing or sabotaging any semblance of a conservative organization. This includes engineering false flag events and creating potential terror attacks from thin air so that they can be blamed on constitutionally minded groups. The strategy is called “4th Generation Warfare” and it is not a conspiracy theory, this is a conspiracy fact.

For example, as we now know according to court documentation, the supposed scheme by a Michigan “militia” made up of anarchists to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer and “try her as a tyrant” was heavily infiltrated by at least a dozen FBI agents and informants. The group was so infiltrated, in fact, that the entire plot for the kidnapping was essentially planned out by the FBI. This is the very definition of a false flag. The corruption and entrapment involved in the operation was so egregious that even the leftist media has reported on it.

I recall a very similar situation that occurred during the Malheur incident when Ammon Bundy (son of Cliven Bundy) and a group of patriots decided to annex the wildlife refuge and its obscure ranger buildings as a launching point for a revolution. Though I was a supporter of the efforts at Bundy Ranch, I was vehemently against Malheur because the whole situation seemed grossly suspect. The strategy made no sense, the rationale made no sense, the site of the standoff made no sense and the public optics were terrible. It was an anti-Bundy Ranch; a situation in which all of the dynamics were in favor of the feds and against the liberty movement.

And, not surprisingly, Malheur had also been influenced and in some cases was arranged by federal informants and agents. These people were whispering in the ear of Ammon Bundy the entire time while the FBI authorized them to commit criminal acts. There were so many paid employees of the FBI at Malheur that jurors decided to drop all charges against most of the defendants involved.

And what about the latest “J6” rally in Washington DC, which was planned by a virtually unknown former Trump aid and was quickly exposed as a potential “honeypot” designed to lure in conservatives? The army of plainclothes undercover feds was so prevalent that riot cops accidentally arrested an armed FBI agent thinking he was a protester.

Now, there are many people in the alternative media that are breathing a sigh of relief that almost no one showed up for the J6 protest or “fell into the trap”. In fact, there were far more reporters and feds there than actual activists. However, I think we need to look at the bigger picture of why the government is staging such events in the first place, and it’s not just to entrap a few conservatives.

If you think about it, the entire strategy is high cost/minimum reward if we only look at it in terms of actual arrests. If the idea is to catch and prosecute patriots, then they could infiltrate groups and engineer criminal actions for decades and achieve little to nothing. Obviously, this is not the purpose of informants. Rather, the strategy is not to invade groups unnoticed; the strategy is to BE NOTICED, to make sure the whole of the liberty movement believes that if they ever try to organize in any way the feds will be there to set them up. In other words, the primary goal of the FBI is to instill paranoia and fear among patriots and ensure they never effectively organize to resist.

When we cheer the “failure” of J6, we need to keep in mind that the establishment does not care. Getting people to show up was not their main intent; making people afraid to show up for any other events in the future is what they want.

The issue presents a Catch-22. If conservatives organize there is the chance that some groups will be infiltrated or set up and used to make the entire movement look bad. If we don’t organize, then we have lost the fight. It will be over before it even truly begins (and no, the real fight has not started yet). So what is the solution?

I think it’s odd but maybe not surprising that the standoff at Bundy Ranch has been memory-holed by the media and is rarely mentioned even among conservative activists these days. Yet, it was probably one of the most successful patriot actions in the past couple of decades. There are a number of reasons for this:

1) The action was spontaneous, not pre-planned, and was in response to criminal activity by the FBI (including assaulting women that were protesting and the use of sniper positions to surround the Bundy property similar to Ruby Ridge). The movement took action to remedy a government trespass rather than creating a standoff out of nothing.

2) There was no single person in charge. Groups showed up from all over the country; some of them squared away and some of them screw-ups. This might sound like a bad thing, but in terms of rebellion, it is often better to avoid streamlined top-down leadership. Frankly, I am usually suspicious of anyone that tries to anoint themselves the “leader” of the liberty movement or the sole leader of a protest action. Cult of personality is the most useless thing I can think of when it comes to battling tyranny, and top-down leadership can be easily manipulated or controlled.

3) Because of the decentralized nature of the response to Bundy Ranch, the feds had no way to influence or predict the outcome, and they really hate that. Without informants in key positions, the feds did not have the ability to adapt to the quickly changing circumstances. Contrast this with Malheur, where the feds were basically in control from the very beginning. The site itself was so isolated and ill-conceived that the FBI was able to dictate every movement of patriots in and out of the area. It was pointless for any militia to occupy it, but it was a great spot for the feds.

4) Patriots arrived at Bundy Ranch peacefully, but with the will to fight if necessary. The Bundy Ranch response had a clear objective – To stop the FBI from harming the Bundy family and to retrieve the stolen cattle if possible. Both of these objectives were accomplished and with no shots fired. A complete success. The group was motivated and unified by the objective, NOT a singular leadership. Without a clear objective, there is no purpose to any action.

It is important to understand the difference between a Lexington Bridge moment and a Fort Sumter moment – During Lexington Bridge, the revolutionaries took action to stop a British detachment from arresting colonial leaders and confiscating rifles and powder stores. The British were in the midst of an undeniable attempt to disarm and snuff out the resistance. At Fort Sumter, the Confederate attack was in response to an attempted resupply of the fort itself; which made sense strategically but looked like an act of pure aggression to the wider public. The concept of states’ rights (more prominent in the minds of the confederates than the issue of slavery) fell by the wayside.

Eventually, tyranny has to put boots on the ground. A totalitarian system can function for a time on the color of law and implied threats, but it will crumble unless it is able to establish a physical presence of force. Once those jackboots touch soil in a visible way and the agents of the state try to expand oppressive measures, rebels then have a free hand to disrupt them or bring them down. But this only works if there are objectives and enough decentralization to prevent misdirection of the movement.

Some organization is essential. It cannot be avoided. All the “Gray Men” and secret squirrel preppers out there that think they are going to simply weather the storm in isolation and pop out of their bug-out locations to rebuild are suffering from serious delusions. I can’t help but think of that moment in ‘Lord Of The Rings’ when the Ents refuse to organize to fight against the invading orcs. Pippen suggests to Merry that the problem is too big for them and that they should go back to the Shire to wait out the war. Merry laments:

The fires of Isengard will spread. And the woods of Tuckborough and Buckland will burn. And all that was once green and good in this world will be gone. There won’t be a Shire, Pippin.”

If this fight is not pursued now, there will be no world worth coming back to, even if one was able to successfully hide from it. There will be a “new world order” as the globalists like to call it. There will be nothing left of freedom.

So, organization must be accomplished, and it should be built at the local level. This is far more important than any dreams of a national organization, at least for now. There is no one we can trust to lead such a nationwide revolt, and that includes political leaders like Donald Trump.

Will federal intrusions happen? Of course, but at the local level, it is much easier to vet people according to their behaviors and root out bad actors. Hold your local meetings to discuss current events and create a place for people to network and get to know each other. Talk to local businesses or your county sheriff to see where they stand on issues like the vaccine passports and Biden mandates. Put things in motion now or you will regret it later when your community is completely disjointed and paralyzed by fear during a crisis or government subjugation.

And, what about the first guy at your meetings that starts talking about building bombs, drafting “kill lists” or kidnapping governors? Kick his ass out promptly and make sure everyone knows why you did it. Most likely he is a fed or he is on an informant payroll. As our national composure breaks down and the manure hits the fan, fed informants and agents will suddenly disappear from these groups without a trace. They are not going to stick around for what happens next; the government doesn’t pay them enough for that. And knowing who the patriots are will not help the federal government if the patriots are organized to defend themselves. This is the reality which they do not want us to wake up to.

Emperor Biden Is Never Going To Back Down – And So We Must Demand That Red States Start Taking Their Power Back

The federal government was originally created to protect our rights.  I know that sounds really bizarre to many of you, but it is the truth.  In fact, we actually have a document called “the Constitution” which is supposed to guarantee that certain rights are never taken away from us under any circumstances.  Sadly, the American people have allowed those rights to be steadily eroded for decades, and now the federal government in Washington has launched an all-out assault on some of our most cherished liberties and freedoms.  The bomb that Emperor Biden dropped on 100 million Americans last week represented one of the most pivotal moments in American history.  Previous generations of Americans sacrificed so much so that we could live free, but now the regime in Washington seems to be absolutely obsessed with dragging all of us into full-blown tyranny.  For those of us that deeply love this country, this is very difficult to deal with emotionally.

At least if Biden was willing to talk things over with us rationally, there would be some hope for resolving this crisis.  But that is not going to happen.  In fact, we are being told that Biden plans to “run over” any governors that get in his way.

There will be no compromises and no backing down.

Sadly, at this point attempting to negotiate with Emperor Biden and his minions is essentially like trying to negotiate with Emperor Palpatine and his minions.

So what can we do?

In Washington, our representatives should have already filed articles of impeachment.  I know that such an effort has zero chance of success because the Democrats control both houses of Congress, but it would be a symbolic move that would let people across the country know that someone in Washington is actually listening.

Much more importantly, it is time for state governments to start taking their power back.

We need a “new federalism”, but it wouldn’t actually be new at all.

If you ask most Americans what the 10th Amendment says, the vast majority of them would not be able to tell you.

And that is because the liberal elite do not want it to be widely discussed.

This is the official text of the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution…

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Many people are shocked to learn that this is what our Constitution actually says.

The federal government is only allowed to exercise the very limited powers that are specifically granted to it by the U.S. Constitution.

Otherwise, all other powers are reserved for the states and the people.

Our founders always intended for the federal government to be very limited in size and scope, and the text of the 10th Amendment could not be any clearer.

Unfortunately, over the decades we have seen the federal government grab more and more power, and our courts and our state governments have allowed it to happen.

It is time to say that enough is enough.

Joe Biden says that his patience is “wearing thin”, but the truth is that our patience with him and those like him should have been gone a long time ago.

If we don’t stand up now, we may not get another chance.  We need to demand that our state governments do everything that they can to resist this unconstitutional power grab and start taking their power back.

The good news is that some state governors are already starting to take action.  For example, just check out what Greg Abbott is doing in Texas

Biden’s vaccine mandate is an assault on private businesses.

I issued an Executive Order protecting Texans’ right to choose whether they get the COVID vaccine & added it to the special session agenda.

Texas is already working to halt this power grab.

But this should just be the tip of the iceberg.

We need our state governments to barrage the court system with cases, and I believe that the 10th Amendment could be the key to so many of those cases.

Emperor Biden and his minions have gone way, way over the line with these unprecedented mandates.  We have never seen anything like them before, and that is because no other president would have dared to try something so blatantly unconstitutional.

But even if Emperor Biden’s mandates are struck down by the courts, governments in blue states could attempt to impose similar mandates on their own.

So this is another reason why I am strongly encouraging everyone to consider moving away from the blue states.

This pandemic has clearly demonstrated that where you lives really matters.

At this stage in our history, our best chance of preserving our liberties and freedoms is to do so at the state level.  We need governments in red states to take as much power back as they possibly can, and we need to do whatever we can to insulate ourselves from the blue states.

I understand that this is a very sad thing to say, but what other choice do we have?

The other side has made it very clear what they want.  They want to censor us, silence us, “cancel” us, get us fired from our jobs and push us to the fringes of society.

And ultimately that is not going to be enough to completely satisfy them.

If we want our way of life to survive inside the framework that we call “the United States”, then a “new federalism” is the only viable option at this point.

In the end, a lot of people are going to choose to leave the United States entirely, but tyranny is on the rise all over the planet.

Needless to say, if our world continues down this path a very, very dark future is ahead.

If the government can force something into your body any time that it wants, you are living in a dystopian nightmare.

We could choose to just lie down and accept this “rape by government”, in which case they will just keep doing it to us over and over again.

Or we can stand up and try to do something.

Our founders put the 10th Amendment there for a reason.  Now it is up to us to put that tool to work.

What Exactly Is Canned Bread? | Canned Bread Types (Loaf vs Mix)

Canned bread isn’t exactly the type of bread you buy from the grocery store. The differences go beyond the can. In fact, the original recipe today’s canned bread is based on is older than cans themselves.

Canned bread was originally called Boston Brown Bread. There are recipes for Boston Brown Bread dating back to 17th century New England.

The traditional recipe calls for cornmeal mixed with rye flour, wheat flour, and molasses. The mixture was then poured into a coffee pot and steamed until it rose. This made a very dense and sweet brown bread.

The first canned bread was made by B&M, a Maine cannery now known for its baked beans. B&M started making canned bread in the 1920s. Their recipe is still made with molasses and cornmeal. It also has whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt. There are two varieties: plain, and with raisins.

Another option for canned bread is using a mix.

Bread mix is a powder of various dried ingredients that comes in a can. Most canned bread mixes have flour, powdered milk, powdered eggs, yeast, and various conditioners.

In order to make bread from them, all you need is hot water, instant yeast, and vegetable oil. There are many bread mixes that can be prepared in a similar way to canned bread.

How Do You Eat Canned Bread?

B&M canned bread comes ready to eat. Some people like it better toasted. Others prefer it plain.

In New England, there are two ways to serve it. One is like toast, with butter, cream cheese, or jam. The other is with baked beans and sliced hot dogs. In YOUR house, you can serve it any way you’d like.

As for homemade canned bread and bread mixes, you can prepare them any way you see fit. Many bread mixes have instructions on the packet. Many can also be used in a wide variety of different recipes.

7 Reasons To Purchase and Stock Up On Canned Bread

Canned bread can be a great food to include in any stash or pantry. There are a few solid reasons to stock up on canned bread. They include:

1. Good Source Of Several Nutrients

Canned bread contains molasses, which is a great source of:

  1. Essential for blood production and health.
  2. Helps with nerve and muscle function, heart health, cell health, and nutrient absorption.
  3. Needed for muscle and nerve function, blood sugar and blood pressure regulation, and protein, bone, and DNA production.
  4. Aids metabolism, blood clotting, and the formation of bones. Also helps prevent immune inflammation.

Canned bread also contains a fair amount of calcium, which we need for strong bones,  as well as communication between the brain and the nerves.

Canned bread mixes, meanwhile, also have nutritional benefits. Some have valuable vitamins and minerals, such as calcium, iron, and potassium. Some also have protein.

2. Good Caloric Value For Your Money

B&M canned bread lists 8 servings per can at 130 calories each. This comes out to 1040 calories per can.  This translates to a pretty dense caloric load for relatively little money.

Canned bread mixes also provide a significant amount of calories for the money.

For instance, the Augason Farms Honey White Bread, Scone, and Roll Mix contain 5,880 calories (distributed among 49 servings), for just $7.62 (at the time this article was published).

3. Easy To Store

Both canned bread and canned bread mixes are easy to store. Standard canned bread comes in a standard 16 oz can. They are easily stackable and storable.

Canned bread mixes usually come in larger, industrial-sized No. 10 cans. These are also easily stackable and storable.

If space is an issue, larger cans can be opened and separated into smaller sealable cans. All these cans require is a space with no excess heat, humidity, or salt exposure, which describes most long-term storage.

4. Long Shelf Life

For long-term storage, it is essential for an item to have a long shelf life. As we will discuss later in this article, both canned bread and mixes have long shelf lives.

5. Versatility

A good long-term storage staple should be versatile.

Canned bread can be prepared in a variety of ways, and can serve as a good source of tasty calories in a number of different situations.

Bread mixes are even more versatile. There are many different things you can make from most mixes besides bread and rolls. Mixes can also be used to make pizza, pan-fried scones, breadsticks, and other recipes.

6. Easy To Prepare

One of the best things about canned bread is that it is a ready-made food. This makes it perfect for situations where other ingredients, tools, or appliances may not be available. You can slice and eat it straight from the can.

Bread mixes also have very little prep. The only ingredients needed are warm water and oil, and the only tool needed is an oven or even a fire.

7. Morale Booster

When serious emergencies happen, people may crave familiar things. Bread is a familiar food that can be comforting in times of uncertainty.

Having a quick, easy way to make bread can be helpful to boost morale.

How Long Does Canned Bread Last? Can it Go Bad?

Canned bread only has an “official” shelf life of two years.

However, the actual shelf life of the product is far longer. B&M bread can regularly last for 10 years or more, so long as there are no serious issues with the can.

Bread mixes have a much longer shelf life. When properly sealed they can last for ten years or more. Certain brands designed for long-term storage may last up to 15 or 20 years.

Can You Make Your Own Canned Bread?

It may seem simple to can your own homemade bread. There are recipes out there that tell you that you can. However, the unfortunate truth is that you should not.

These recipes cannot be made safely at home. While bread can be cooked in jars, it must be eaten quickly. They are not shelf-stable.

There is a specific reason for this.

Canning your own bread can cause Botulinum to develop. Botulinum is a common bacteria that can lead to severe food poisoning (or botulism).

All botulinum needs to grow is food, a non-acidic environment, moisture, and temperatures between 40-130 degrees F. If there are botulism spores in the air during the canning process, those spores may get into the bread.

Commercially produced canned bread is made under laboratory-tested conditions. These conditions ensure there are no botulinum spores around the bread.

It is not possible to replicate these conditions at home. We do not suggest making DIY canned bread. Instead, its best to leave it to commercial manuacturing.

7. Prepared Pantry Country Farm White Bread Mix

The Prepared Pantry is a family-run all-American store in Rigby, Idaho. We are including their bread mix for the quality and nutritional value.

Their White Bread Mix makes a tender, all-natural loaf that is rich in taste and nutrients. This is because it is made with milk. In fact, each loaf is made with the equivalent of ¾ cup of fresh milk.

Preparation calls for water and butter, but you can easily forgo the butter or sub it out for oil. The Prepared Pantry also has a wide variety of over 100 bread mixes to choose from.

Final Thoughts

If you’re into building a DIY survival pantry, then you should add some canned bread or mixes.

They give you the supplies you need to make delicious bread, biscuits, or cornbread even during a crisis. Because there’s nothing that brings a family a bit of comfort than some fresh warm bread.
