***UPDATE: It appears that Israeli statements about the conflict have caused much confusion among news outlets. Earlier in the day Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus had told the press that there were Israeli ground troops “attacking in Gaza”, but now he has told reporter Alex Ward the following: “Clarification: there are currently no IDF ground troops inside the Gaza Strip. IDF air and ground forces are carrying out strikes on targets in the Gaza Strip.” So it appears that ground forces are being used to conduct strikes in Gaza, but they have not officially crossed over into Gaza just yet. I apologize for any confusion, and we will continue to monitor further developments.***
The next Middle East war has begun. Israel has sent troops over the line into Gaza, and Israeli officials are telling us that they will be there for as long as it takes. Ultimately, the Israeli government didn’t have much of a choice. Hamas had already fired more than 1,600 rockets into Israeli territory, and the Israeli people were crying out for action. If someone had fired 1,600 rockets at major U.S. cities, millions upon millions of Americans would literally be begging the Biden administration to nuke whoever did it. Now that war has started, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is pledging that “this operation will continue as long as necessary”…
The Israel Defense Force tweeted from its official account on Thursday night: ‘IDF air and ground troops are currently attacking in the Gaza Strip.’
Military spokesman Lt Col Jonathan Conricus confirmed: ‘There are ground troops attacking in Gaza, together with air forces as well.’
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted moments later: ‘The last word was not said and this operation will continue as long as necessary.’
What does that exactly mean?
We don’t know, but it sounds like there is no end in sight for this conflict.
Previously, Defense Minister Benny Gantz had stated that there is “no end date” for airstrikes against Gaza…
Defense Minister Benny Gantz said Wednesday that the military operation will continue in the Gaza Strip for as long as necessary and that there is currently no end in sight.
“Israel is not preparing for a ceasefire. There is currently no end date for the operation. Only when we achieve complete quiet can we talk about calm,” Gantz said during a tour of rocket-hit Ashkelon. “We will not listen to moral preaching from any organization or institution regarding our right and duty to protect the citizens of Israel.”
I think that Israeli officials are finally fed up with having rockets being lobbed at them out of Gaza.
Now that Israeli troops have gone in, one of the first jobs will be to neutralize the tens of thousands of rockets that Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad have stockpiled over the years…
Hamas and Islamic Jihad fired more than 1,000 missiles in the first 48 hours of the conflict which began on Monday, an average of one every three minutes, and has enough to keep the bombardment going for two months.
Israeli military spokesman Lt Col Jonathan Conricus said: ‘According to our estimates we’re talking about between 20,000 and 30,000 rockets in Gaza today, rockets and mortars.
It is going to take some time to achieve that goal, but if the Israelis want the constant bombardment to stop they need to find those weapons.
Beyond that, there are many in the Israeli government that would like to destroy Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza for good. Both groups have sworn to never stop until Israel is wiped off the map, and so there is no negotiating any sort of a permanent peace with them.
Over the past couple of days, a number of key Hamas targets have been eliminated, and an IDF spokesperson has stated that the terror group is in the process of “losing everything”…
On Thursday morning the IDF bombed government targets, Hamas’s central bank, a force that the Israeli military said belonged to the terror group’s navy unit as well the home of Iyad Tayeb, a top Hamas commander who oversaw a number of battalions. The IDF said that the home was being used for terrorist purposes.
“The organization is losing everything,” IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Hidai Zilberman told reporters on Thursday morning.
If Hamas and Islamic Jihad lose their grip on Gaza, that would give Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah an opportunity to consolidate control over the Palestinian people.
So even though he would never admit it publicly, I have a feeling that Mahmoud Abbas is very pleased with what is happening right now.
Israel was never going to negotiate a permanent peace deal with the Palestinians as long as Hamas was running Gaza. But if Hamas and Islamic Jihad are out of the way, that would clear a path for a comprehensive peace plan and the establishment of a “two state solution” that is so greatly coveted by the Biden administration.
Needless to say, any such “peace deal” would be a tragic error, and this is something that I have discussed in numerous other articles.
For the moment, we need to watch and see how this current conflict plays out.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad are no match for the Israeli military. But now that the IDF is preoccupied in the south, this could be a golden opportunity for Hezbollah to take action in the north.
And if that happened, all of a sudden the Israelis would find themselves fighting a war on two fronts.
As I discussed the other day, Hezbollah has more than 150,000 missiles currently pointed at Israel. If Hamas and Islamic Jihad were able to overwhelm the Iron Dome system, what would happen if Hezbollah suddenly started launching thousands upon thousands of highly advanced rockets at Israeli cities?
In addition, we need to watch Iran. The Iranians try to avoid attacking anyone directly, but they could choose to use this moment as an opportunity to strike Israel through various proxies other than Hezbollah.
In the days ahead, keep alert for any attacks against Israel that seem to come from unusual sources.
At some point, there will be open conflict between Israel and Iran, but hopefully that day can be put off for as long as possible.
Of course I always said the same thing about the coming conflict between Israel and Hamas, and now it is here.
I think that Hamas officials realize that Israel intends to destroy the organization, and so they will throw everything that they have got at the Israeli military.
A lot of blood is going to be spilled, and it will be a very messy conflict.
But if Hezbollah jumps in, things will get a whole lot worse.
And if things escalate to a point where Israel and Iran are openly firing missiles back and forth, we would potentially be facing an apocalyptic scenario in the Middle East.
We have entered a time of “wars and rumors of wars”, and the days ahead are certainly going to be very dark for the entire globe.

It sure didn’t take long for the Joe Biden era to start resembling the Jimmy Carter era. Prices are going up so fast that even the mainstream media can’t stop talking about it. This has already become a major national crisis, and it should be exceedingly obvious to everyone that it is only going to get worse. The Biden administration wants to borrow and spend trillions more dollars on top of all the absurd spending that has already happened, and the Federal Reserve is going to continue to pump gigantic piles of fresh cash into the financial system. Collectively, our leaders are literally committing economic malpractice, and if most Americans truly understood what was going on they would be out in the streets protesting against it.
Already, a lot of people out there are becoming extremely alarmed that their food bills are so high. One of the things that is driving this is the price of corn. Most Americans don’t eat a lot of canned corn or corn on the cob, but corn has become a key ingredient in literally thousands of other products in our grocery stores. If you doubt this, just wander through a grocery store some time and look for products with these ingredients…
When you know what to look for, pretty soon you start realizing that corn is in the majority of our processed foods. They put it in bread, they put it in soda, they put it in baby formula, and food manufacturers are constantly coming up with new ways to stick it into even more products.
Needless to say, this is absolutely horrible for our health, but that is a topic for another article.
In this article, the point I am trying to make is that the price of corn is going to affect the price of most of the things that the average American buys at the grocery store, and at this point the price of corn is up “roughly 50%” so far in 2021…
America’s biggest cash crop has rarely been more expensive. Corn prices have risen roughly 50% in 2021 and a bushel costs more than twice what it did a year ago.
Corn has been one of the sharpest risers in the broad rally in raw materials that is prompting companies to boost prices for goods and fueling concern among investors that inflation could hobble the post-pandemic economic recovery.
Here in the United States, most Americans will be able to absorb the price increases that are coming, but in other parts of the globe a price shift of this magnitude could mean that millions of families will no longer have enough money to buy the food they need.
Of course it isn’t just the price of corn that is going crazy. As that same Wall Street Journal article noted, we are seeing wild inflation in many areas of the U.S. economy right now…
Lumber prices have shot to more than four times what is typical, pushing up home prices and obliterating renovation budgets. Copper, a cog of industry found throughout the home and in electronics, hit record prices Friday. Crude oil hasn’t cost so much since 2018 and soybeans are trading at their loftiest level since 2012.
Day after day, inflation is making headlines, and this is going to cause a lot of fear. As a result, hordes of people will be rushing out to their local retail stores “to stock up”, and this will do a couple of things.
First of all, it will make inflation even worse. When demand rises relative to supply, that pushes prices in an upward direction, and that is just basic economics.
Secondly, it will intensify our ongoing shortages. As I detailed the other day, the shortages that we are experiencing now are worse than anything that we went through in 2020, and there will be more shortages in the months ahead.
And as if we weren’t already facing enough problems, one of the most important fuel pipelines in the U.S. was just shut down by a very sophisticated ransomware attack…
One of the largest US fuel pipelines remained largely paralyzed Monday after a ransomware cyberattack forced the temporary shutdown of all operations late last week — an incident that laid bare vulnerabilities in the country’s aging energy infrastructure.
The victim of the attack, Colonial Pipeline is a company that transports more than 100 million gallons of gasoline and other fuel daily from Houston to the New York Harbor.
It is very interesting to note that some in the mainstream media are trying to link this attack to Russia. Whether that is true or not, we all know where all of this is eventually heading.
These are such troubled times, but most Americans still don’t realize what we are facing.
Sending out big government checks made everyone feel good for a little while, but it came at a great cost. Creating trillions of dollars out of thin air is absolutely destroying the value of our currency, and once the U.S. dollar is dead there will be no going back.
To me, we just hit a milestone that is extremely telling. If you can believe it, the total value of all cryptocurrencies is now greater than the value of all U.S. currency currently in circulation…

Cryptocurrencies hit a valuation of $2 trillion on April 29, according to The Wall Street Journal. That’s about the same valuation as all US dollars in circulation. However, it has since hit as high as $2.25 trillion — and in the process actually exceeding dollars in circulation.
This is utter madness!
But this is what can happen when the Federal Reserve electronically pumps trillions upon trillions of new dollars into the financial system.

I am yelling fire because fire is raging. Mixing metaphors, the storm is not coming; it’s already here. America’s financial house of cards will fall, taking other nations with her. Thoughtful Conservatives must inform people of imminent danger because families will be disrupted, businesses will fail, couples will be divorced, and children will suffer immeasurably.
The economy has faltered, is failing, and will fall.
I see no way out of the coming collapse. Sometimes politicians make such a mess of things that there is no way to correct or solve the mess. It’s almost like being in a small boat on a raging sea, unsure how far you are from the coast you left and the distance to where you hope to dock. You keep going hoping to stay afloat; however, our “boat” is overwhelmed with accelerating debt.
For years we have been marching toward this sort of a disaster, but now that march has evolved into a full-on sprint.
Everything that the “economic alarmists” have been warning about is starting to happen, but this is just the beginning.
Much worse is still to come, and the fall of the U.S. economy is going to absolutely shock the entire globe.

Why you need a car emergency kit during a road trip?
A roadside emergency kit is essential for anyone who decides to plan a road trip. Whether it’s a spur-of-the-moment decision or a well-thought-out journey, a car emergency kit is a road trip essential.
Mainly, if you’re traveling alone or with small children in dead zones with no cell coverage, you may not be able to call for emergency roadside assistance.
While taking your car to a certified mechanic is always the best option, sometimes it’s not practical. For that reason, it’s important to always store your kit inside the trunk of your car.

Never go on the road without at least covering the basics in emergency preparedness. Take a car emergency kit and conduct some simple checks. It may just save you hundreds of dollars and potentially your life.

The crisis on the border continues to get even worse, and our existing facilities on the southern border just aren’t equipped to handle the vast torrent of migrants that are flooding in. So in an attempt to deal with overloaded conditions, the Biden administration plans to start flying migrants that have been detained to facilities “near the Canadian border” for processing. Fox News is reporting that this is something that the Biden administration “is considering”, but their own report admits that CBP has already requested plane support from ICE…
As crossings along the southern border surge to near-record levels, the Biden administration is considering flying migrants to states near the Canadian border, according to a report.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requested the plane support from Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Friday after 1,000 migrant families and unaccompanied minors crossed the Rio Grande into South Texas Friday morning, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials told The Washington Post. Border agents still have another 1,000 migrants they were unable to process last night, according to communications reviewed by the Post.
Those crossing the southern border are unlikely to be carrying appropriate clothing for cold weather climates.
So will the U.S. government provide clothing for them?
According to the Fox News story that I quoted above, Montana, South Dakota and Michigan are some of the states where migrants could be relocated…
That crisis was during the warmer months, and it’s not clear whether CBP will be able to provide warmer clothing for families sent to states like Michigan, South Dakota and Montana. These facilities also have far fewer resources to take in migrants. The email seen by The Post indicates CBP has not yet decided which facilities will take in the migrants.
If a steady stream of migrants is flown into these states from this point forward, there is a very important question that we need to ask.
Will the government fly them back once they are processed, or will they be released into the local communities of those northern states?
What we do know is that on the southern border CBP is starting to release migrants into the country after they have been processed without even giving them court dates…
A senior-level law enforcement source with U.S.Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the Rio Grande Valley revealed the implementation of a plan to release migrant families soon after apprehension. The plan radically changes how illegal migrants have been processed in the past and orders Border Patrol agents to quickly release migrant families without notifying the immigration courts or issuing a Notice to Appear.
“This is insane, it is another pull factor that will overwhelm us,” a CBP official with knowledge of the plan told Breitbart Texas anonymously because he is not authorized to speak publically on the matter. “We are creating another entirely different class of aliens we will have to deal with years from now. We will never find most of these aliens once they are released.”
Yikes!
Even if migrants are given court dates, most of them never come back anyway.
But now those that are not even being given any court dates at all will be free to travel the country at will…
Without a Notice to Appear, the migrants are free to travel about the country and are not officially placed into the immigration court system. The court cannot order the removal of a migrant in absentia for failing to appear for a future court date, the source explained. the existence of a removal in absentia order from the court allows immigration officials to remove the alien without appeal if they are later encountered. Under this new process, the migrants will not have a removal in absentia order for failure to appear officials issued no order to appear under the unprecedented plan put in place by the Biden administration on Sunday morning.
Once news of this gets out, it will just encourage even more migrants to storm the border.
As it stands, our facilities are already beyond overloaded. If you doubt this, just consider what Senator Chris Murphy just witnessed during his visit to a CBP facility…
Just left the border processing facility. 100s of kids packed into big open rooms. In a corner, I fought back tears as a 13 yr old girl sobbbed uncontrollably explaining thru a translator how terrified she was, having been separated from her grandmother and without her parents.
What a nightmare.
Biden insists that the “challenge” on the border is not his fault, but some migrants are openly telling reporters that they would not have come if Donald Trump was still president…
ABC News anchor Martha Raddatz recently spoke with a Brazilian man — just one of the tens of thousands of migrants who are traveling to the U.S. in search of asylum — who admitted that Biden’s presidency was a motivating factor for coming to America.
“Would you have tried to do this when Donald Trump was president?” Raddatz asked.
“Definitely not. Definitely. We have a chance, you know. The same environment that’s been going on today wasn’t there last year,” the man responded. “We used to watch the news and I definitely wouldn’t do this.”
But now Democrats are in control, and that will be the case for at least the next four years.
As a result, one migrant told Fox News that the flood of people coming over our southern border is “not going to stop, ever”…
The migrant, who was not named, spoke to Fox News on Friday in El Paso after being apprehended by Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Asked if he believes more migrants will come to the US under the Biden administration, he said with a shrug: ‘It’s not going to stop, ever. It’s not going to stop.’
Sadly, these migrants don’t understand that they are actually going from the frying pan to the fire.
Yes, things may have been really bad in the countries that they are coming from, but conditions in the United States will eventually be even worse.
Many migrants truly believe that life will be so much better if they can just get to America, but that dream is just a mirage.
But for now that dream remains a very powerful pull, and the crisis on the border is not going away any time soon.

PREPPING FOR THE UPCOMING GOVERNMENT-INDUCED FOOD SHORTAGES
Global inflation is headed into overdrive as the leading food price indicator that is the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization’s food price index increased for an 11th consecutive month in April, hitting levels not seen since May 2014, with sugar prices leading the rise in the main index.
The Rome-based FAO released data Thursday showing the food price index, which measures monthly changes for a basket of cereals, oilseeds, dairy products, meat, and sugar, surged 2 points from 118.9 points in March to 120.9 in April.
That is a 30.7% YoY jump – the fastest rise since 2011…
The April surge was primarily led by price increases of sugar, oils, meat, dairy, and cereals.
FAO’s cereal price index moved up 1.2% in April M/M and 26% Y/Y. Drought conditions in Argentina, Brazil, and the US increased corn prices by 5.7% last month, while wheat prices were flat. Global rice prices slipped last month.
FAO’s vegetable oil price index rose 1.8% last month because of increasing soy, grapeseed, and palm oil prices, which offset lower sunflower oil prices.
Milk prices increased 1.2%, with surging demand from Asia, while the meat index rose 1.7%. FAO said there was “solid demand” for bovine and ovine meat in East Asia.
