And the most convenient way to quench your thirst is by turning on the tap.

• But is your tap water safe to drink?
• Should it be trusted?

This thirst has forced us to develop clever methods for distributing water.

We’ve accomplished this monumental task via a complicated array of pipelines and plumbing.

We’ve also devised ingenious ways to recycle our gray water to mitigate unnecessary losses.

But that spirit of ingenuity may be causing us more problems than expected.

Otherwise known as the law of unintended consequences.

When a complex system like water distribution becomes widespread, serious obstacles inevitably arise…

When you turn on your tap, there is a good chance you’re pouring yourself a toxic pharmaceutical cocktail.

How Water Gets From Source To Tap

Maintaining high water quality standards may be engineers’ most challenging problem.

And the safety of your tap water depends upon its success.

↓ Human Water Cycle: Wastewater

Water travels from the source (i.e., lake, river, reservoir) to a filtration treatment plant.

Once treated, it is routed through miles of pipelines before running out your tap.

And between the water source and your glass, there’s a lot of room for contamination from eroding pipes, chemical additives, and inadequate treatments.

The consequences of consuming tainted water vary.

The type of toxins ingested causes different illnesses.

But elevated levels of any toxins in your water will cause health problems.

From nausea, loss of consciousness, and even death in severe cases.

So Is Tap Water Safe To Drink?

There are a lot of competing answers to that simple question.

Local municipalities claim it’s safe and nothing to worry about.

But that’s like asking a politician if they’ve ever lied…

They claim to be trustworthy and would notify you immediately if anything was ever amiss.

But as we’ll discuss shortly, being highly skeptical is in your best interests.

Those more independent-minded and skeptical refute their “safe” assertion.

Instead, we believe filtering tap water before consumption is in everyone’s best interest.

Otherwise, we risk our health by putting our faith in an imperfect system.

So this article aims to answer the question: Is tap water safe to drink?

Using historical examples, facts, modern context, and scientific evidence.

WHEN IN ROME…

It was perhaps the greatest empire of all time.

At its height, Rome blanketed Europe, parts of Africa, and the Middle East.

Romans were well known for their art, fabulous architecture, brilliant military, and rich culture.

They philosophized, politicized, sexualized, and influenced the history of humanity.

Then Rome fell.

It broke into a thousand pieces after half a millennia of unhampered progress and prosperity.

Why? Water quality, chiefly.

There are many reasons why this once great monument to human refinement collapsed like a circus tent.

However, it is widely believed severe water contamination had much to do with it.

At the time, the Romans had a very advanced water distribution system.

They built out extensive lead-lined aqueducts and lead piping for dispersal and distribution.

And in case you missed it in grade school chemistry, Lead consumption is very bad for humans.

In fact, it’s dreadfully poisonous.

It can kill quickly if regularly consumed (even in small doses).

The Romans knew this.

They were well aware of lead’s poisonous qualities.

They even had terracotta piping they could have used as an alternative, but they did not.

Instead, they kept their lead aquifers and plumbing because lead was powerful and masculine.

A metal closely associated with the Roman God, Saturn.

Today, Rome is no longer an empire.

This is important to us for two reasons:

1. First, it illustrates how essential maintaining a high water purity level is.
2. Second, it proves even the most well-established societies can be brought to their knees by contaminated water.

A Water Crisis In America

Undoubtedly, America is currently one of the greatest nations on Earth.

Like the Romans, we are a prosperous society supporting millions of citizens.

So, by necessity, we also have an extensive water distribution system.

We are powerful, wealthy, and well-established.

But we are not without our water problems.

Some were every bit as serious as those the Romans had.

Fracking

America requires a lot of energy, and we have an extensive reservoir of natural gas energy trapped beneath our feet.

Fracking is new drilling practice that yields huge quantities of natural gas.

Fracking often releases natural gas that’s completely inaccessible using conventional extraction methods.

However, the fracking has drawbacks.

Many communities located near fracking operations complain of contaminated water.

The concern is the gas released by fracking activity ends up in the groundwater.

This groundwater is the source for local communities.

Then, this contaminated groundwater eventually comes out of the taps in their homes.

The severity of this pollution varies. But in many instances, people can light their tap water on fire. 

This is due to the highly flammable nature of natural gas.

Needless to say, such water would be harmful to consume.

Mountaintop Removal

A surface mining method, popular on the East Coast of America, involves literally blasting the tops off mountains in the Appalachians to access the coal beneath.

Like fracking, this method of resource extraction is renowned for contaminating nearby water sources.

High levels of mine-derived chemical constituents have been found in many community water sources.

This has led to increased numbers of adult hospitalizations for varying health issues.

Complications include pulmonary disorders, lung cancer, and chronic lung, heart, and kidney disease.

Their health has been at the expense of this devastating mining method.

Colorado’s Animas River

This year in Colorado, a mine near Durango sprung a violent leak.

The leak was so toxic it stained an entire river with a nasty, glowing shade of orange.

The spill was deemed unintentional and unstoppable (although not unpreventable).

Thousands of gallons of water contaminated with extremely dangerous cadmium, manganese, lead, copper, and arsenic were blasted from the side of a hill and mixed with the once-freshwater of the Animas River.

• The level of arsenic in the river was well over 300 times that of normal levels.
• The presence of lead was discovered to be 3,500 times higher than normal.

This catastrophe choked off water downstream.

Poisoning and drinking water supplies for several towns and the entire Navajo Nation.

And this crisis is still far from over…

↓ Why Did The Animas River Turn Orange?

Flint, Michigan.

It will go down in history as one of the biggest and most devastating instances of drinking water pollution in the United States ever.

The city decided to switch water sources to save $100 per month! 

After all, the cheaper, the better – right?

Shortly after the switch, complaints started pouring in.

People were concerned about their funny-tasting, weird-smelling, and strange-looking water.

Soon, those complaints turned into cases of developing rashes and unnatural hair loss.

And before the city council could say “Oops,” President Obama declared Flint, Michigan, a State of Emergency.

It will cost them roughly 1.5 billion dollars to resolve this problem.

Which, on a $100 per month payment plan, the city could resolve in 1,250,000 years.

But what will it cost the families of Flint, Michigan?

They are paying for this government betrayal with their deteriorating health.

What Is In Tap Water? Even More Tap Water Contaminants

While these cases are frightening, you may think they are rare and isolated.

However, I assure you that drinking water contamination comes in all shapes and sizes.

The abovementioned instances illustrated some real worst-case scenarios and how state officials and private businesses’ ” blunders ” can seriously affect one’s health.

But the full list of contaminants that’s been turning up in American drinking water is far more frightening.

Not just because of how extensive the list is but also how widespread it is.

We’ve got drugs!

If you live with chronic pain, your doctor might prescribe you hydrocodone.

They might tell you to take ranitidine if you’ve got acid reflux.

And if you are experiencing congestive heart failure, you will probably get some hydrochlorothiazide.

But you might not realize getting a prescription to fill these medications is not always necessary.

According to a national study, drugs are detectable in our water in higher doses than previously imagined.

These meds are released into our water systems through human urination, poor disposal practices, and accidental loss.

Because most water we consume is recycled, there is a good chance that when you turn on your tap, you pour yourself a diluted pharmaceutical cocktail.

These medications have been researched comprehensively and are known to affect animals and aquatic life.

Nitrates or nitrites?

Both, actually. These chemical compounds occur naturally in food and water.

But can react with other additives to form cancer-causing substances.

Nitrates and nitrites are used as fertilizers for non-organic farming and are introduced to water systems through natural runoff.

These chemicals are known to be especially toxic to children (including the unborn).

Consumption by minors can result in what is commonly known as “Blue Baby Syndrome” (when a child unexpectedly stops breathing).

These symptoms are shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, loss of consciousness, and even death.

Fluoride.

This chemical is intentionally added to many water sources in the US.

It’s added to “decrease the number of cavities in American children.”

This chemical is also found in both toothpaste and mouthwash.

Why?

Because it’s great for scrubbing enamel and getting rid of pesky plaque, but it is not meant for ingestion.

Fluoride is helpful when applied to teeth, not when run through a human being’s digestive system.

The government adds this chemical to our water consistently and without our consent.

On top of this, numerous studies have proved fluoride added to water is ineffective.

It’s not clear that it prevents tooth decay as intended.

Animal studies have shown that fluoride consumption is linked to brain damage.

Fecal Coliform.

Coli has made appearances in the news regularly for the last several years.

Outbreaks often contaminate a type of food but can also be extremely dangerous to human health if ingested through water consumption.

E. coli is a frighteningly common type of bacteria that often causes acute diarrhea, nausea, and cramps.

Alpha radioactivity.

Although you may not consider radioactive water a likely problem with your drinking water, it could devastate your health.

The EPA reports roughly 200 people a year get cancer from consuming this toxic water.

Sometimes, the source of pollution is man-made.

However, water can also become radioactive by contacting naturally occurring minerals like radium, radon, and uranium.

So, if your house is near a large uranium mine, you may want to invest in a good water filtration system.

Trihalomethanes?

These disinfectant solutions are used in water treatment plants to purify the water.

But when chlorine reacts with naturally occurring organic drinking material, it can cause rectal, bladder, or pancreatic cancer and birth defects if ingested (such as spinal and neural disorders).

Atrazine.

Atrazine is an agricultural pesticide for corn and soybeans.

It is frequently found in American drinking water and is known to give animals cancer in their mammary glands.

And because human beings are, in fact, animals, this is a major cause for concern.

LEAD!

The EPA has ruled that “there is no safe level of exposure to lead.”

The heavy metal interferes with red blood cell chemistry and delays normal physical and mental development.

In the US, 20% of total lead exposure comes from drinking water, which is significant. 

Lead in our drinking water comes from the atmosphere, the soil, or piping and plumbing (as was the case in Rome and Flint, Michigan).

Treatment technique violations involve the possibility of inadequately treated water.

As a society, we recycle wastewater, freshwater, rainwater, and just about any other water we can manage to get our thirsty hands on.

But because we reuse so much of it, the chances of some still-contaminated water getting through is likely.

The consequences of such an occurrence are unpredictable since no one knows exactly what the persistent pollution is or where it came from.

My Answer To Your Question: Is Tap Water Safe To Drink?

If you skimmed this article and missed all our supporting evidence, the answer to the question is MAYBE.

Your tap water may be safe, or it may not be safe.

You may never know for certain unless you continuously test your tap water.

So, while I cannot say your tap water is currently unsafe to drink, I also can’t say it is 100% safe at all times.

Life happens, mistakes occur, and tap water can become hazardous overnight.

Is Tap Water Safe To Drink?

No, it’s NOT safe enough for MY family!

So What Can We Do?

It is an important question, no doubt, as it affects us all.

While the American water collection, treatment, and distribution system is much more advanced than the Romans.

We can rest easy knowing federal and private employees are doing their best to protect the purity of our tap water, right?

Wrong.

If you really want to ensure that your tap water is safe to drink and will not cause you illness, discomfort, or death, you need to take matters into your own hands.

The US water system is well-funded and highly equipped to manage water treatment and dispersal.

But they can’t keep every molecule of pollution out of the water.

The job is just too big.

If you are keen on protecting your health and your family’s health (and you should), you will have to do something about it yourself.

Retail stores are being shut down at a staggering rate all over the country.  If we stay on the pace that we are on, the total number of stores closed in 2024 will be nearly 40 percent higher than the total number of stores closed in 2023.  That is what you call a crisis!  Meanwhile, banks are shuttering hundreds of branches from coast to coast, and a “restaurant apocalypse” is sweeping across the nation.  Everywhere around us, “space available” signs are going up on buildings that were once considered to be prime commercial real estate.  If someone tries to convince you that the U.S. economy is in good shape, just show them this article and ask them why so many once prosperous businesses are closing.  Needless to say, they will not be able to win the argument after that.

According to the Daily Mail, nearly 2,600 store closings were announced during the first four months of 2024…

US retailers have announced the closure of almost 2,600 stores in 2024 – just four months into the year.

Big names including Macy’s, Walmart, Walgreens, Foot Locker and 7-Eleven have all said they are closing shops.

But discount stores like Family Dollar and bankrupt 99 Cents Only have been worst hit, as have drugstores like CVS and Rite Aid.

If the U.S. economy is heading in the right direction, why are many of the largest retail chains in the U.S. shutting down stores?

That wouldn’t make any sense at all.

If this pace remains constant throughout the rest of this year, we would hit a grand total of approximately 7,800 store closing announcements by the end of 2024…

If the closures were to continue at the same rate for the rest of the year they would total 7,800 in 2024 – almost 40 percent more than the total in 2023.

When the number of retail stores shutting down goes up by 40 percent in a single year, that is a sign that your economy is really “booming”, eh?

Sadly, we are losing more stores with each passing day.

On Thursday, we learned that a major convenience store chain in Wisconsin has decided to close down all of their locations…

Wisconsin convenience store and gas station chain The Store is being forced to close all of its 25 locations.

The Store, established in 1976, will shutter its businesses at the end of July. It also has locations in Michigan.

In some cases, stores are being closed down due to rapidly slowing economic conditions.

But in other cases, stores are being permanently shuttered due to the unprecedented wave of retail theft that never seems to end.

Earlier this week, I was intrigued by an article that was cleverly titled “Lego thefts across Southern California leave police trying to piece together clues”…

Believe it or not, the Lego sets and figurines collecting dust in your childhood bedroom could fetch a pretty penny.

So pretty, in fact, that two suspects have allegedly stolen more than $100,000 in Lego merchandise from six Bricks & Minifigs stores across Southern California.

The Lego reseller, which stocks mini figures, accessories and bricks, has more than 100 outlets across the U.S.

The Riverside store was the first one burglarized, with the suspects hitting it April 3, followed by Ontario on April 12, Whittier on May 3, Irvine on May 9 and the Costa Mesa and Fullerton locations on June 1, Whittier store owner Katie Leuschner said.

“Shrink” is costing U.S. retailers more than 100 billion dollars a year at this point.

In this sort of an environment, it is difficult for any retailers to be profitable, and that is especially true in our major cities.

Meanwhile, our banks are shutting down branches at a feverish rate.

So far this year, more than 400 locations have been permanently closed…

US banks closed 79 branches in just six weeks – as the industry increasingly offers services online.

The figures suggest the axing of costly bricks-and-mortar locations will continue, with total closures so far for 2024 above 400.

California is worst affected by the recent closures with 20 registered shutterings between April 20 and June 1.

When banks get into trouble, they get really tight with their money, they fire workers, and they close branches.

So expect to see a lot more branches get shuttered during the months ahead.

We are also in the midst of a “restaurant apocalypse”, and that is very bad news if you like to eat out a lot.

For example, Red Lobster recently closed 93 locations earlier this year, and now we have learned that 135 more are on the brink of being canned if they continue to lose money…

Red Lobster is ready to close another batch of more than 100 restaurants if it is unable to renegotiate cheaper rent with its landlords.

The seafood chain abruptly closed 93 of its 700-odd restaurants on May 13 – and the next week filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the hope it can restructure its debts.

New court documents reveal that there are another 135 restaurants that bosses say will keep losing money if leases stay as they are, Restaurant Business reported. The option is for the company to pay less rent or shut them.

If I owned a restaurant chain, a bank, or a major retailer, I would be trimming locations too.

Economic conditions are horrible, theft is absolutely rampant, and the violence in our streets is rapidly approaching levels only seen in the most dangerous areas of the planet.

Earlier this week, Collin Rugg posted an account of a particularly alarming incident that just happened in Chicago…

A woman identified as ‘Nina’ says she was walking down the street when she got surrounded by teens who assaulted her.

Her crime? Walking down the wrong street.

“We own the street, we own the street. You can’t just walk around prancing in your little dress,” the gang of about 10 said.

They then held her husband back as they beat her, ripped out her hair, pepper sprayed her face and kicked her in the stomach.

“First someone approached him and hit his head, punched him in the head, and he looked back and he looked at me and told me ‘run’.”

“Another lady came to me and dragged me with my hair on the ground.”

“I started screaming she started pepper-spraying me right in the face, in the eyes.”

“Another person starts stomping all over me, and my husband ran towards me to save me and over 10 people held him.”

She lost her baby hours later.

For a long time, I have been warning that “chaos” would be coming to the streets of America.

Now it is here.

And it is getting worse every single day.

Unfortunately, most Americans still don’t understand the fundamental transformation that is happening to our society and they still believe that our leaders will be able to return things to “normal” eventually.

We just learned that a person in Mexico has dropped dead after catching H5N2, and people are already totally freaking out about this all over the Internet.  In recent weeks, there was already enough concern about the potential for a major H5N1 outbreak among humans.  Dairy cows throughout the U.S. have been getting infected with that version of the bird flu, and three dairy workers have tested positive.  A full-blown H5N1 outbreak among humans would have the potential to be catastrophic, but we don’t even know what an H5N2 outbreak among humans would look like because there never has been one.  So far, we have one confirmed case and one death.  If it is confirmed that there is human to human transmission of H5N2 going on, the masks, lockdowns, shots and public hysteria that we witnessed a couple of years ago could return in the blink of an eye.

The person that just died after catching H5N2 lived in Mexico, and we are being told that this individual had no exposure to poultry or other animals.

The following comes directly from the official World Health Organization website…

On 23 May 2024, the Mexico IHR NFP reported to PAHO/WHO a confirmed case of human infection with avian influenza A(H5N2) virus detected in a 59-year-old resident of the State of Mexico who was hospitalized in Mexico City and had no history of exposure to poultry or other animals. The case had multiple underlying medical conditions. The case’s relatives reported that the case had already been bedridden for three weeks, for other reasons, prior to the onset of acute symptoms.

On 17 April, the case developed fever, shortness of breath, diarrhoea, nausea and general malaise. On 24 April, the case sought medical attention, was hospitalized at the National Institute of Respiratory Diseases “Ismael Cosio Villegas” (INER per its acronym in Spanish) and died the same day due to complications of his condition.

Results from Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) of a respiratory sample collected and tested at INER on 24 April indicated a non-subtypeable influenza A virus. On 8 May, the sample was sent for sequencing to the Laboratory of Molecular Biology of Emerging Diseases Center for Research in Infectious Diseases (CIENI per its acronym in Spanish) of INER, which indicated that the sample was positive for influenza A(H5N2). On 20 May, the sample was received at the Institute of Epidemiological Diagnosis and Reference (InDRE per its acronym in Spanish) of the Mexico National Influenza Centre, for analysis by RT-PCR, obtaining a positive result for influenza A. On 22 May, sequencing of the sample confirmed the influenza subtype was A(H5N2).

If this person didn’t catch it from a bird or some other animal, how was this individual infected?

And did this person spread H5N2 to others before finally seeking medical attention?

It is being reported that this is the very first human case of H5N2 that has ever been confirmed by a lab…

This was the first laboratory-confirmed human case of infection with A(H5N2) subtype of bird flu reported globally and the first H5 virus infection in a person reported in Mexico.

This individual could have potentially spread the disease to hundreds or even thousands of others.

If that is what actually happened, it may already be too late to contain it.

One expert that was recently asked about a potential bird flu pandemic admitted that “we’re in big trouble” once it starts spreading among humans on a widespread basis…

“All of our efforts need to be focused on preventing those events from happening,” said Matthew Miller, co-director of the Canadian Pandemic Preparedness Hub at McMaster University.

“Once we have widespread infections of humans, we’re in big trouble.”

But I wouldn’t push the panic button just yet.

An isolated case is just an isolated case.

However, if more confirmed cases of H5N2 start popping up that would definitely be cause for concern.

Of course H5N1 also continues to alarm the experts.

This week, we learned that 11 house mice in the state of New Mexico have tested positive for H5N1…

House mice have become the latest mammal to become infected with H5N1 bird flu, sparking fears that the almost omnipresent pests could spread the virus to humans.

One of the reasons why this is causing so much concern is because there are millions upon millions of mice living all around us, and in many cases our own homes are infested with them…

The discovery of the virus in mice is particularly alarming, as it significantly raises the risk of human transmission and further spread, say experts.

Mice live in unnervingly close proximity to humans: they scurry beneath floorboards, hide in cupboards and roam our offices, larders and restaurants.

It is important to remember that the bubonic plague was spread all over Europe by mice.

So this will be something that we will want to keep a very close eye on.

Interestingly, scientists recently conducted a study which proves that mice can become infected with H5N1 after drinking raw milk from dairy cows…

A new study published Friday provides more evidence of the potential danger of drinking unpasteurized, or raw, milk containing H5N1 avian flu viruses.

The work, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, showed that mice that were fed milk from H5N1-infected cows became very ill.

The study cannot prove that what happened to the mice would definitely happen to people who drink raw milk containing the dangerous virus, but it underscores the probable risk, experts said. Studies like this cannot be conducted in people, for ethical reasons.

The bird flu has already resulted in the deaths of hundreds of millions of birds all over the globe, and now it is infecting dairy cows, domestic cats and mice here in the United States.

Many scientists believe that it is just a matter of time before there is a bird flu pandemic among humans.

I don’t know if that is true or not.

But the fact that someone just dropped dead from H5N2 definitely got my attention, because if a bird flu pandemic does erupt it will create even more fear than the last pandemic did.

A former Russian president is warning that a strike by the United States on any Russian target will amount to the “start of world war.”

Dmitry Medvedev, who has been quite vocal lately about the West’s behavior towards Russia, announced to the world this week that World War III will be set in motion the moment the U.S. strikes Russia in any capacity.

The current Deputy Chair of Russia’s Security Council, Medvedev said this after Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski stated that the U.S. will conduct such a strike if Russia uses any kind of nuclear weaponry in Ukraine.

In a post on X, Medvedev made the suggestion that Sikorski “apparently has decided to scare his masters” with such a statement, unlike the U.S. which is “more cautious” than the Poles.

“Americans hitting our targets means starting a world war, and a Foreign Minister, even of a country like Poland, should understand that,” Medvedev added.

Poland pushing for world war

Medvedev also addressed similar statements made last month by Polish President Andrzej Duda about Poland’s willingness to host U.S. nuclear weapons if offered the chance under NATO’s sharing mechanism.

If any such arrangement comes to fruition and results in a nuclear strike on Russia, “Warsaw won’t be left out and will surely get its share of radioactive ash,” Medvedev assured about the outcome.

Sikorski, responding to Medvedev’s warning, expressed skepticism about Russia ever even launching a nuclear strike in Ukraine.

“The Americans have told the Russians that if you explode a nuke, even if it doesn’t kill anybody, we will hit all your targets [positions] in Ukraine with conventional weapons – we’ll destroy all of them,” he stated, calling the warning a “credible threat.”

Sikorski added in statements to The Guardian (United Kingdom) that both China and India have similarly warned Russia against nuclear escalation in Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Western backers, Sikorski continued, should allow the Zelensky regime to use its weapons to strike targets in Russian territory “apart from not using nuclear weapons, [Moscow] does not limit itself much.”

The European Union (EU), in Sikorski’s opinion, should not be afraid of escalating the war in Ukraine, nor should it impose any kind of limits on what it does. This has left Moscow guessing as to what the West’s next move will be.

Russian President Vladimir Putin continues to say that at no point has he considered using nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov added that Russia’s nuclear doctrine hinges upon only launching nukes “if something threatens the existence of our country.”

In short, Russia looks at nuclear weapons as a “farewell weapon,” meaning they are a weapon of last resort that will only be used if provoked to the point of possible Russian extinction.

Back in February at his annual address to the Federal Assembly, Putin warned the aggressive West that Russia’s nuclear arsenal is in a state of “complete readiness for guaranteed deployment.”

Earlier this month, Putin launched an exercise in the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the Southern Military District of Russia, which borders Ukraine. This exercise was meant to be a warning to the U.S. and its allies following escalatory rhetoric pushing towards WWIII.

“Look at the parallels between the lead-up to both world wars I and II and you will see that we are in WWIII,” one commenter at RT wrote.

“Turn off the power plants in Ukraine,” suggested another about how to avoid any further mass civilian casualties. “No need to harm the civilians.”

I suppose that congratulations are in order.  It is no small feat to pile up a debt of $315,000,000,000,000, and we will never see a mountain of debt of this magnitude ever again after it comes crashing down.  Even though delinquency rates are rising all over the world, as long as conditions remain at least somewhat relatively stable the game will be able to continue.  Unfortunately, conditions won’t be relatively stable for long.  Global events have started to accelerate significantly, and that is really going to shake things up in the months ahead.

According to a report that was just released by the Institute of International Finance, the total amount of debt in the world has reached a grand total of 315 trillion dollars…

The world is mired in $315 trillion of debt, according to a report from the Institute of International Finance.

This global debt wave has been the biggest, fastest and most wide-ranging rise in debt since World War II, coinciding with the Covid-19 pandemic.

“This increase marks the second consecutive quarterly rise and was primarily driven by emerging markets, where debt surged to an unprecedented high of over $105 trillion—$55 trillion more than a decade ago,” the IIF said in its quarterly Global Debt Monitor report released in May.

We are in the midst of the greatest global debt binge in the history of the world.

Household debt is at a level we have never seen before, business debt is at a level we have never seen before, and government debt is at a level we have never seen before…

Of the $315 trillion debt stock, household debt, which includes mortgages, credit cards and student debt, among others, amounted to $59.1 trillion.

Business debt, which corporations use to finance their operations and growth, stood at $164.5 trillion, with the financial sector alone making up $70.4 trillion of that amount. Public debt made up the rest at $91.4 trillion.

For the moment, conditions are at least somewhat relatively stable, and so everything seems fine.

But it won’t take much to push us over the edge.

For example, during a recent interview with Greg Hunter, Chris Martenson suggested that a Chinese invasion of Taiwan could trigger a sudden meltdown of the bond market…

In a new market meltdown, Dr. Martenson sees chaos and gives a hypothetical example: “China attacks Taiwan, and there is a 10 sigma move in the bond market. Oh no, all these derivatives have blown up. These people are supposed to be winners, and these people are supposed to be all losers. No, no, they don’t have any money for that stuff. It’s too complicated. I don’t think anybody understands how this works anymore. I could not find anybody who could tell me the whole thing. I could find people who knew bits and pieces, but they knew their slice. . . . I am trying to stitch this thing all together. I get uncomfortable when I can’t answer the most basic questions, and that is how much risk is there in the system and where is it?”

In short, Dr. Martenson is worried about the whole financial system going down. Dr. Martenson says, “Yes, I am worried about the whole system going down, and that leads to all sorts of speculation. . . . Imagine this, we wake up one day, and the markets are not open on Monday. Oh no, glitch. Problem. Then, it’s two days and not open, three days not open. People are getting worried. Friday, and the markets are still not open. Monday comes, and they say it’s a super big problem, and we don’t know how to resolve it. . . . They offer you 100% value today in a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) account or you can wait it out and hope it gets resolved, and it might take a decade.”

The moment that the Chinese invade Taiwan, the U.S. and China will be at war.

This is one of the three major wars that I have been warning about for a long time.

Unfortunately, the Chinese continue to become more aggressive toward Taiwan.  In fact, late last week they conducted the biggest practice run that we have seen so far…

China wrapped up a two-day, large-scale military exercise Friday after its forces deployed 111 aircraft and 46 naval vessels to areas around Taiwan.

Taiwan’s National Defense Ministry said 82 Chinese military aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and some got very close to the 24-nautical-mile line that Taiwan uses to define its contiguous zone.

The military drills, branded as a “punishment” for Taiwan’s new president, Lai Ching-te, who China views as separatist, focused on conducting joint sea-air combat-readiness patrol, joint seizure of comprehensive battlefield control and joint precision strikes on key targets involving China’s army, navy, air force and rocket force.

Meanwhile, both sides just continue to escalate matters in Ukraine.

It is being reported that French forces will soon be heading to Ukraine to help “train” Ukrainian troops, and that is a very ominous development…

Ukraine’s military says it is ‘welcoming’ French trainers in Ukraine, in new remarks which strongly suggest that for the first time France is deploying its troops to Ukraine soil. This marks the beginning of major ‘boots on the ground’ escalation in a formal, public capacity by a NATO state.

“Ukraine’s top commander said on Monday he had signed paperwork allowing French military instructors to visit Ukrainian training centers soon,” Reuters reported Monday, referencing head of the armed forces Col. Gen. Oleksandr Syrskyi.

“I am pleased to welcome France’s initiative to send instructors to Ukraine to train Ukrainian servicemen,” Syrskyi said following video link talks with French defense minister Sebastien Lecornu.

We are getting closer and closer to the day when western forces will be in direct conflict with Russian forces, and this is something that I have been warning about for many years.

The third major war that will greatly shake the entire planet is the war that has erupted in the Middle East.

Israeli forces keep going even deeper into Rafah, and the IDF and Hezbollah continue to exchange fire along the northern front.

Eventually this war is going to escalate to an extremely dangerous level, and we could potentially see that happen by the end of this calendar year.

In addition to military conflict, major pestilences are also a factor that could turn the global financial system upside down.

Earlier today, we learned that over 4 million chickens at just one farm in Iowa will have to be destroyed because of a bird flu outbreak there…

More than 4 million chickens in Iowa will have to be killed after a case of the highly pathogenic bird flu was detected at a large egg farm, the state announced Tuesday.

Crews are in the process of killing 4.2 million chickens after the disease was found at a farm in Sioux County, Iowa, making it the latest in a yearslong outbreak that now is affecting dairy cattle as well. Last week, the virus was confirmed at an egg farm west of Minneapolis, Minnesota, leading to the slaughter of nearly 1.4 million chickens.

Overall, 92.34 million birds have been killed since the outbreak began in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Please keep in mind that the figure that the U.S. Department of Agriculture is quoting is just for the United States.

Overall, hundreds of millions of birds have been killed around the globe since the beginning of this pandemic.

Let’s just hope that H5N1 does not mutate into a form that can spread easily from human to human, because if that happens our planet will be paralyzed by fear on a much higher level than we experienced during the last pandemic.

It is also being reported that a hemorrhagic fever that can cause “Ebola-like bleeding” is rapidly spreading among rodents in northern Europe…

A potentially deadly virus that can jump from animals to humans is already sweeping through northern Europe, putting the UK highly at risk.

The horrifying virus can be transmitted from rodents to humans and cause Ebola-like bleeding, according to new research.

Bank voles in Sweden carrying the pathogen have already infected two people, causing them to come down with a Viral Hemorrhagic Fever (VHF) – the same type of illness as Ebola.

I will be closely watching for any human cases of that disease, because any type of hemorrhagic fever that starts spreading widely among humans would cause a tremendous amount of panic.

On top of everything else, I believe that we should brace ourselves for unexpected natural disasters in the months ahead.

For example, our sun has been exceedingly active lately, and we are being warned that more coronal mass ejections may soon be heading our way…

Will we soon see a major prophecy in the Book of Revelation be fulfilled?  Global food prices have been skyrocketing and hunger has been spreading like wildfire all over the world.  We desperately need 2024 to be a year of good harvests, but unfortunately weather patterns are not cooperating at all and bad news about harvest forecasts just continues to pour in from many of the planet’s most important agricultural regions.  Global food supplies just keep getting tighter and tighter, and the agricultural price spikes that we are witnessing right now are definitely quite ominous.  Could it be possible that the stage is now being set for the global food crisis prophecy of Revelation 6:6?  In that verse, we are warned of a time when food prices will soar to absolutely frightening levels…

Then I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages, and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

We certainly haven’t reached that point yet.

But are we on the way there?

In this article, I would like to share what has been going on with a number of our most important agricultural commodities recently.

For example, poor harvests in Brazil have caused the price of orange juice to approximately double over the past 12 months…

Prices of the breakfast staple have been climbing rapidly in recent years, partly driven by declining output in Florida — the main producer of orange juice in the U.S. — and climate-fueled extreme weather in the main orange producing areas of Brazil.

The South American agricultural powerhouse is the world’s largest producer and exporter of orange juice, which means it plays a hugely influential role in shaping the global industry.

The benchmark frozen concentrated orange juice futures, traded on the Intercontinental Exchange in New York, closed at $4.77 per pound on Wednesday. That’s nearly double the price registered a year ago.

Prices have gone so “bananas” that some orange juice producers are actually “considering turning to alternative fruits”…

Orange juice makers are considering turning to alternative fruits such as mandarins as wholesale prices have “gone bananas” amid fears of poor harvests in Brazil.

Prices of orange juice concentrate reached a new high of $4.95 (£3.88) a lb on futures markets this week after growers in the main orange producing areas of Brazil said they were expecting the harvest to be 24% down on last year at 232m 40.8kg boxes – worse than the 15% fall previously predicted.

The price of coffee is also going haywire.

So if you love coffee, I would stock up now while you still can.

Thanks to extremely dry conditions in Brazil and Vietnam, coffee prices were up “sharply” this week…

Coffee prices Tuesday rallied sharply, with arabica jumping to a 1-month high. Coffee prices soared Tuesday on concern that excessive dryness in Brazil and Vietnam will damage coffee crops and curb global production. Somar Meteorologia reported Monday that Brazil’s Minas Gerais region received 5.3 mm of rain or 69% of the historical average in the past week. Minas Gerais accounts for about 30% of Brazil’s arabica crop.

Last Wednesday, coffee trader Volcafe said Vietnam’s 2024/25 robusta coffee crop may only be 24 million bags, the lowest in 13 years, as poor rainfall in Vietnam has caused “irreversible damage” to coffee blossoms. Volcafe also projects a global robusta deficit of 4.6 million bags in 2024/25, a smaller deficit than the 9-million-bag deficit seen in 2023/24 but the fourth consecutive year of robusta bean deficits.

Wheat is specifically mentioned in Revelation 6:6, and Bloomberg is reporting that a confluence of factors has pushed the price of wheat to the highest level in 10 months…

Wheat briefly touched the highest in 10 months, as cold and dry weather in major producers and the ongoing war in Ukraine deepen supply concerns.

Futures climbed as much as 3.3% in Chicago, before paring some of the gain. Analysts have been cutting production estimates for top exporter Russia in recent weeks, while Ukraine is headed for its driest May on record. Historically low rainfall in Western Australia is also adding to nervousness.

Unfortunately, this is just the beginning.

I am entirely convinced that the price of wheat will soon go far higher than it is right now.

So if you think that the price of bread is high now, just wait until you see what is coming next.

Meanwhile, the price of beef just surged to another brand new all-time record high…

Beef prices skyrocketed to a new record high this Memorial Day weekend as industry experts warn costs could continue to rise even higher if current regulatory and economic conditions remain unchanged.

Recently released data shows that “all fresh beef retail value,” a composite value based on choice beef, other beef, and hamburger retail prices, shot up to $794.90 in April, according to the Economic Research Council, the highest price on record.

The size of the U.S. cattle herd is the smallest that it has been in decades, and one rancher named Shad Sullivan recently warned that beef will soon be a luxury that only the wealthy will be able to afford on a regular basis…

“We are seeing prices at an all-time high, and it is getting close to that point when the consumer is going to say, I can’t do this anymore; it’s just too costly,” said Mr. Sullivan.

“They (officials and regulators) are trying to push these high prices as a new norm where meat is only a treat for the wealthy. That is where they are pushing us, and that is where we are going.”

You may be thinking that if beef gets too expensive you will just eat more chicken and turkey.

Sadly, chicken and turkey prices are poised to go a lot higher thanks to H5N1.

A fresh wave of the bird flu is sweeping across the nation, and Iowa Republican Governor Kim Reynolds just declared a state of emergency in one county in her state due to an outbreak there…

Iowa Republican Governor Kim Reynolds signed a disaster proclamation on Tuesday for one of her state’s counties as public health officials prepare to euthanize more than 4 million chickens exposed to a highly contagious bird flu.

The order comes after a case of avian influenza was confirmed among a large flock of egg-laying chickens in Sioux County on Tuesday by state and local agriculture officials, according to a report from CBS News.

As a result, the animals will be destroyed and their remains will be isolated in an attempt to prevent the further spread of the contagion.

In total, some 4.2 million chickens will be put down.

Just think about that last sentence for a moment.

Everywhere you look, there are signs of trouble.  Unfortunately, this is all happening at a time when foreigners have more control over our food supply than ever before.

Foreigners now control more than 43 million acres of U.S. farmland, and this should deeply alarm all of us…

A recent map has revealed the alarming trend of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) acquiring vast swaths of American farmland, raising serious national security concerns.

Foreign ownership of U.S. agricultural land expanded to approximately 43.4 million acres in 2022, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

According to the USDA, Chinese investors’ ownership of U.S. agricultural land has skyrocketed from merely 13,720 acres in 2010 to an astounding 346,915 acres by 2022 out of the 43 million acres.

Chinese entities hold ownership of farmland across 29 of the 50 U.S. states.

I have been warning for many years that global food supplies would get tighter and tighter.

Now it is happening right in front of our eyes, and hundreds of millions of people are going to bed hungry every single night.

I wish that I could tell you that things will soon get better, but I can’t.

We really are living in the end times, and the things that are written in the Book of Revelation really will take place.

What Is A Bunker

“Bunker” comes from the Scottish word for “bench, seat.”

This is odd because that is NOT what I think when I hear “bunker.”

However, it was also used as the shortened form “bunk,” which was used to describe a “sleeping birth.”

So, if you combine these original ideas of a “protected sleeping quarter,” you can see how this term evolved into the modern idea of a “survival bunker.”

To be clear, a bunker IS NOT a “She-Shed” or a “Man-Cave.”

It’s NOT a backyard hut where ladies have lunch or “the guys” watch the big game while eating finger sandwiches or chicken wings.

A bunker is a personal self-defensive fortification.

One that should be well-built to withstand entry from anyone who intends you harm.

Most are often located underground to:

1. Remain hidden (i.e., you can’t attack what you don’t know is there)
2. Avoid above-ground dangers (bombing, nuclear fallout, infections, other humans, etc.)

The bottom line:

The primary goal of a homemade bunker is to protect the ones you love.

And to survive in a safe (often underground) location.

There Are 5 Main Types Of Bunkers

1. Industrial

These were designed to protect industries essential to the German government during WWII.

They were primarily used as mining sites, data storage centers, food storage areas, and occasionally used as living quarters.

2. Trench

This bunker is a smaller concrete structure that is partly dug into the ground as part of a trench system.

They were crude, open-aired shelters to protect soldiers during Trench Warfare.

Staying hunkered down in the trench prevented soldiers from being sitting ducks for machine-gun fire from the enemy.

3. Munitions Storage

A munitions bunker held explosives and was typically built into the side of a hill.

They were not designed for human occupancy.

4. Artillery

This was a secure place for weapons and ammunition.

These types of bunkers were usually built on coastlines for large-scale wars.

5. Personal Survival Bunkers

Personal bunkers are often attached to homes or located on personal property.

This helps to protect regular folks from bombing raids, nuclear fallout, or severe weather.

Today, those who want to live a resilient life use these bunkers to protect themselves from:

9 Homemade Bunkers To Expensive (Pros / Cons)

Let’s face it, preparing for a future catastrophe isn’t cheap.

You must spend your hard-earned money on the right equipment and supplies.

This investment is made to survive and thrive in various catastrophes.

That’s why we acquire guns and ammo, right?

It’s why we spend money on Ham radios and building bug-out bags, get-home bags, and TFAKs.

And the super-rich can afford a high-tech bunker.

Something that makes your BEST vacation look like a dump.

But the rest of us need to build our own DIY bunkers on the cheap.

You only need to ensure your DIY bunker is safe and secure.

And that CAN BE AFFORDABLE!

Now, let’s investigate the different types of DIY bunkers you can construct.

We will start with the cheap underground bunker and work our way up.

1. Inside Your House

Your house may already have the makings of a cheap DIY underground bunker.

Some DIY bunker ideas for the home are:

• A crawl space under a home could be dug out and sealed
• And unused partition of a basement (safe or panic room)

If building a new house, consider designing a homemade bunker within or underneath it.

Many folks leave the area under a front porch as a hidden panic room.

This option is the most affordable of all the DIY Bunker options.

But with THAT comes big tradeoffs:

Pros

• The rough structure is already built. You need to make it livable and secure.
• It’s right under the house so that you can make a quick getaway
• It’s well hidden with a house over it

Cons

• It may not have a finished concrete floor
• Someone could gain access by breaking through the wood floor above
• It doesn’t give you distance with a separate bunker away from the home

2. Backyard Root Cellar

A small backyard root cellar is one of the most affordable DIY Bunker options.

And it’s not attached to your house but still very close by.

Plus, it’s underground – so it naturally stays warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

It can also act as a fallout shelter.

A root cellar (by design) is made to keep fresh foods shelf-stable for long periods.

And they don’t take up much space (depending on your space needs/family size).

Pros

• Small footprint
• Underground and on your property
• Affordable (especially vs. other DIY bunker options)

Cons

• Limited space, so it might feel very cramped after a few days
• Not as hidden as true “underground bunkers.”

3. Natural Cave or Burrow

If you own some land, perhaps you have a property with a natural void in the ground.

This has the potential to be turned into a cheap bunker.

It may be an abandoned mine or an old den for wild animals, but you can put it to good use, whatever the case.

When going into a cave, you need to be cautious.

You don’t know what’s inside and how stable the roof and walls are.

You’ll need structural support, but this is true of all bunkers.

You can even dig your own cave if your land is suitable.

Pros

• The basic structure is already made
• It usually has only one entrance to fortify
• It’s easy to camouflage

Cons

• You need to stabilize the walls and roof
• Water leaking in could be an issue
• Once a secure door is attached, you must tunnel out for ventilation.

4. Buried Culvert

Now, we’re moving to more complicated DIY Underground Bunker builds.

If this is the direction you’re going to go, I recommend you invest in some solid bunker plans.

Here’s a product that provides excellent bunker plans: Family Bunker Plans.

The culvert DIY bunker option uses a large steel culvert buried as your escape pod.

These heavy-duty pipes are engineered with a corrugation profile.

This design helps to maintain structural integrity and is then buried in the ground.

Culverts can stand the force of the earth on top of it, so you can easily bury them to your required depth.

Like with all your DIY bunker ideas, you must build out the living and storage areas inside.

You will also need to weld both ends and fashion a proper exit going up to the surface.

Pros

• It’s a very strong structure that can be buried without stabilizing
• They come in various sizes and lengths
• They are affordable

Cons

• You only get a long rounded tube to work with for the build-out
• It has two wide openings that will need to be closed in
• Height and width could be an issue
• It may be impossible depending on local water table

5. Buried Shipping Container

Finding a shipping container to convert to a cheap DIY underground bunker is easy.

Used ones are rotated out of service constantly.

Several companies sell new and used ones for home use.

Often, folks add them to their property to secure tools and equipment storage.

But they can also have a greater purpose.

A shipping container already has the structure built and is made of steel.

The doors are already steel, too, making them very secure.

You will have to reinforce the sides and roof when burying it.

That way, it won’t cave in, and then you can build the interior how you like.

Pros

• The structure is already built
• Just dig a hole and drop it in
• You can easily connect multiple containers together

Cons

• Used containers may have toxic spills inside
• Metal walls and roofs aren’t strong enough to be buried without reinforcing them
• You aren’t building the outside structure, so it’ll cost more for the container

6. Above Ground Concrete Blocks

This is a cheap DIY underground bunker you can build piece by piece.

The excavation won’t be as deep, so you can hand-dig it yourself if you don’t have access to a machine.

This homemade bunker requires a solid, concrete footing.

With a solid foundation, you can pour yourself with a bit of lumber and concrete.

Then, you build up bricks or cinderblocks layer by layer.

When the walls are complete, build a form inside for the roof with lots of rebars and pour the concrete on top.

You may want to add some rubber peel and stick it to the outside before you backfill.

That way, you avoid any issues with water seepage.

And then it is half in and half out of the ground, ready for you to camouflage.

Pros

• A great DIY project that you can build, block by block
• Excavation is easy because it is only halfway to the ground
• It can be built in a week

Cons

• Laying block is hard work, and you will need a scaffold to reach the top
• Lots of mortar and concrete mixing by hand or barrel mixer if you have one.
• You need to make sure the above-ground part of the structure is well-hidden

7. Prefab Bunker

This bunker has already been cast and is made of concrete with structural rebar in it.

Several companies sell different sizes of bunkers.

This is still a DIY bunker because you need to dig the hole and pour a concrete base.

Once the bunker is in place, you’ll need the exterior backfilled and interior buildout.

You’ll also have to put in a strong steel door.

Pros

• You save time by not having to build the structure
• It’s built solid with thick, reinforced concrete
• This gets you into a bunker quick
• You can go any size you want if you have the room and money

Cons

• Because you aren’t building the structure, the cost is more expensive
• You need a strong base to place the bunker on

8. Hillside Bunker

A hill bunker takes advantage of a sloping property.

This DIY underground bunker will take extra planning and know-how.

Why? Because it can be dangerous to excavate.

As you start digging into your hill, you must shore up the roof so it doesn’t cave in.

Pressure-treated wood or steel works well.

But ensure it is secure before going inside.

Once dug and made safe, you have a great bunker that can only be penetrated from the front.

You should add a concrete entrance with a steel door so no one who is not invited can get in.

Pros

• The outer structure is a natural hill
• No one can get in except through the main door
• You use a natural background for your DIY bunker, easily blending in with the landscape

Cons

• You need an excavator and an operator who knows what they are doing
• This requires support from timber, steel, shotcrete walls, pillars, or a combination
• It’s usually not completely hidden from view
• Ventilation is crucial, especially the further you go

9. Luxury Bunker

Most bunkers we have covered so far are ones some of us can afford without too much cost.

But if you have money to burn, why not build an underground bunker with some luxuries?

DIY Bunker doesn’t have to mean cheap.

You can go online and find plans to construct your own multi-room bunker.

And then buy your materials and get building.

Outside, the structure must still be solid to be buried and out of sight.

Inside is where your luxury starts.

You can make it look like a high-end home with full bedrooms and a state-of-the-art kitchen.

You can even put it in a movie theatre and games room.

There will be extensive ventilation, heating, and electrical requirements and challenges dealing with water and waste.

There is no limit, so go as far as your money will take you.

Pros

• You can have all the bells and whistles
• There will be enough room not to go stir-crazy
• You can bring lots of friends and family
• It will feel like a fallout vacation

Cons

• It’s going to take a lot of money to have a luxurious DIY bunker
• It will take more time than any other cheap DIY underground bunker project

10. Communal Bunkers

For a bunker on steroids, build an underground shelter community.

A group with multiple bunkers attached and private residences with common areas.

It takes a shared vision, a willingness to compromise, and a community spirit.

Companies already do this, but buying in takes a large investment.

DIY Bunker Basics & Key Supplies

Whether you go cheap or luxurious, there are must-have items to stock:

Electrical & Lighting

You need to bring in power from the grid or use off-grid solutions.

Power is necessary for illuminating your DIY underground bunker at a minimum.

And if you want to power a water pump or a ventilation fan, you’ll also need power.

In small applications, you may get by with a power station and some solar panels – like I use when camping.

Air Filtration System

Everyone needs fresh air to survive.

So, consider how you are going to access above-ground ventilation.

You’ll need an outlet vent with a small fan sucking the stale air out of the bunker.

And an inlet vent with a filter will allow fresh air in from outside.

Make sure the filter is good enough for nuclear war.

And stockpile several, and make changing them easy.

Food & Water Storage

DIY bunker projects are small, so don’t forget you need lots of room for food and water.

Canned meats and freeze-dried foods are great, as well as home-preserved food.

Ensure plenty of water to drink, wash, and bathe.

I recommend a minimum of 2 weeks of food and 2 weeks of water.

If you can do more, great, but now you have a target amount to shoot for if you’re just starting.

• For water, I assume 1 gallon per person per day.
• For food, use the “Daily Calorie Requirement Estimates.”

Medical Supplies

If you are heading to your bunker, you may already be injured and need medical supplies to treat wounds.

Accidents while underground can happen, too.

Have a robust IFAK kit (individual first aid kit) with lots of extra trauma supplies on hand.

My go-to medical kit vendor is MY MEDIC.

They have high-quality kits for all skill levels and needs, from IFAKs (individual first aid kids) to ITAKs (trauma first aid kits) and everything in between.

Gas Masks and Filters

Let’s be real; one of the major reasons you’re thinking about building a bunker is to survive a nuclear blast and fallout.

What happens if you’re forced to go outside for supplies or in an emergency while it’s still dangerous?

That’s why everyone should own at least 1 gas mask and several filters.

My go-to gas mask vendor is MIRA SAFETY. If you don’t have any gas masks, get some on order right now.

If you wait, you won’t get one later; they sell out almost immediately at the start of a crisis (like in the spring of 2020 and the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine).

Currency

You may not need any money while underground.

But once you exit your DIY bunker for supplies or to reemerge into society, you need a way to buy things.

Cash is usually great, but if things go south, you should have gold or silver as a reliable backup.

Entertainment

You can go stir-crazy, so consider what you want to do in your DIY bunker.

TV and radio are great to keep up with the catastrophe above, but they require electrical power…

Same for music, unless you make your own music via an acoustic guitar, harmonica, etc.

Make sure to have games for the kids and stock lots of physical books.

Board games, card games, and puzzles are fun, too.

I can play it for hours and never get bored.

The bird flu rhetoric and official narrative are both building. The mainstream media claims that the bird flu virus has been detected in beef tissue that came from a sick dairy cow, but United States health officials stressed the country’s meat supply remains safe. But for how long?

How long until the rulers will use this as an excuse to further demonize meat, or make it much harder and more expensive to get? As the word continues to get out that the rulers have been lying to us about nutrition while the food industry poisons and sickens us while pushing everything but meat on us, people are beginning to realize that meat, and more specifically beef, is the original human superfood. 

Meat has unique properties that make it more nutritious, easier to digest, and less likely to irritate your body than vegetables. However, the ruling class and others continue to push a more plant-based lifestyle on the public. The beginning of further demonization of meat has started too, as now there’s been bird flu found in beef tissue.

In an update issued Friday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) said the cow had been culled because it was sick and the meat did not enter the food supply. So what happens when they tell us that beef does have bird flu?

So far, the USDA “has conducted tests on beef tissue from 96 cull[ed] dairy cows condemned at select FSIS-inspected facilities… On May 22, 2024, viral particles were detected in tissue samples, including muscle, from one cow. To date, samples from 95 cows have tested negative for viral particles. No meat from these dairy cattle entered the food supply.”

It isn’t clear how exactly these “authorities” are testing the beef either. Are they using PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests? If so, we know those are incredibly unreliable.  Especially considering it is now a “concern” that the bird flu is more widespread than the tests are picking up, so they can just make it up whenever they decide that this virus is now a problem. They can tell the naive masses to stop eating meat, eat the bugs instead, and take the new mRNA shots they already have ready for the slave class.

“It’s evident that this is widespread and will require constant vigilance,” Brian Ronholm, director of food policy at Consumer Reports, told the New York Times.

These are all just coincidences, right?

The globalists are apparently trying to see how close they can get to the precipice without causing a cataclysmic nuclear war to erupt.  They are telling us that “momentum” is building to send NATO troops into Ukraine, and they want to allow Ukraine to use western missiles to hit targets deep inside Russia.  Have they gone completely and utterly insane?  They are literally dragging us to the brink of nuclear war.  And once the Russians conclude that nuclear war has become inevitable, they are not just going to sit back and see what happens.  The Russians have been preparing for a nuclear war for many years, and they understand that whoever strikes first will have the best chance of surviving.

Right now, the Russians are steadily gaining ground in Ukraine and the globalists are becoming increasingly desperate.

If NATO commits to sending troops into Ukraine, there will be no turning back and NATO troops will remain in Ukraine until the war is concluded.

This is a line that must not be crossed, but the globalists are seriously thinking about doing it anyway.  The following comes from an article in a British news source entitled “WW3 fears explode as drive to deploy NATO troops in Ukraine ‘clearly’ building momentum”…

The mission to deploy NATO troops in Ukraine is reportedly gaining momentum in Europe after facing opposition from those who did not trust the French-led movement.

Benjamin Haddad, a member of parliament for Emmanuel Macron’s Renaissance party, said the initiative would “turn the tables” on Vladimir Putin, whose troops are currently striving to seize more territory in eastern Ukraine.

Such a move would put us right on the verge of an all-out war with Russia, but some top European leaders are reportedly warming to the idea…

Among those who have expressed support for or been open to debate about the proposal are Czech President Petr Pavel, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis.

Unfortunately, U.S. officials are also considering proposals that “would involve deploying American troops to Ukraine”…

There’s also a shift in training strategy under consideration, with plans to potentially train Ukrainian forces in the U.S. rather than in Germany. This would involve deploying American troops to Ukraine, a move President Biden has previously opposed.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin hinted at possible exceptions for engaging Russian aircraft within Russian airspace, although details remain vague. “The air dynamics are a little bit different… But I don’t want to speculate on any type of involvement here on the podium,” he stated.

Sometimes I feel like I am watching a catastrophic train wreck in slow-motion play out right in front of my eyes.

I can see what is happening, but I can’t do anything to stop it.

In addition to sending U.S. troops to Ukraine, some U.S. officials are now urging Joe Biden to allow the Ukrainians to use U.S. missiles to hit targets inside Russian territory.  One of those officials is U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken…

After a “sobering” visit to Kyiv, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has urged President Joe Biden to allow Ukraine to use American weapons against targets inside Russia, The New York Times reported on May 22.

The debate is heating up at the White House, driven by the State Department’s push to permit strikes on missile and artillery installations along the Russia-Ukraine border.

Don’t let that last part fool you.

The Ukrainians are already hitting targets all along the Russia-Ukraine border.

What the Ukrainians want is to have permission to hit targets that are way beyond the border area.

House Speaker Mike Johnson has also come out in favor of allowing the Ukrainians to use U.S. weapons to strike targets inside Russian territory…

Officials in the US are growing more vocal in making the case for allowing Ukraine to use Washington-supplied weaponry to attack Russian territory.

On Wednesday, House Speaker Mike Johnson came out with a full-throated statement expressing support for such a move which would certainly risk bringing NATO and Russian into more direct conflict.

Over in Europe, similar proposals are now being floated regarding missiles that are being supplied by western European nations.

So how will the Russians respond when NATO missiles are raining down on their cities?

Has anyone ever thought about that?

This week, the Russians have been conducting exercises “involving tactical nuclear weapons” very close to Ukrainian territory…

Russia’s military has begun drills involving tactical nuclear weapons that were announced by Russian authorities earlier this month in an apparent warning to senior Western officials who had spoken about the possibility of deeper involvement in the war in Ukraine.

It was the first time Russia has publicly announced drills involving tactical nuclear weapons, although its strategic nuclear forces regularly hold exercises.

Are the Russians trying to send us a message?

Of course.

Anyone that believes otherwise is not thinking rationally.

In fact, ABC News is reporting that “remarks by British and U.S. officials had prompted the nuclear drills”…

The announcement came after French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated that he doesn’t exclude sending troops to Ukraine, and U.K. Foreign Secretary David Cameron said Kyiv’s forces will be able to use British long-range weapons to strike targets inside Russia. The Kremlin branded those comments as dangerous, heightening tension between Russia and NATO.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on May 6 that Macron’s statement and other remarks by British and U.S. officials had prompted the nuclear drills, calling the remarks “a new round of escalation.”

Once again, the Russians are letting us know that if push comes to shove they will use nuclear weapons.

And those that are familiar with my work know that this is something that I have been talking about for a very long time.

But most people in the western world aren’t interested in such warnings.

They just assume that the globalists know exactly what they are doing and that the risk of nuclear war is extremely low.

I wish that was true.

If the American people truly understood what was at stake, there would be protests in the streets of every major city right now.

But instead, the globalists are being allowed to drag us closer and closer to the edge with each passing day, and one of these days we will cross a line that will never be able to be uncrossed.
