Is Something Starting To Break? Stocks Plummet And Bonds Go Nuts As Economic Data Disappoints

Are the financial markets headed for trouble?  There was quite a bit of panic on Wall Street on Thursday after more bad economic numbers were released.  But honestly I simply do not understand why the financial markets responded with such surprise.  By now it should be apparent to everyone that we have a “Weekend at Bernie’s economy” that is being propped up by unprecedented levels of government spending.  If we actually tried to live within our means, we would immediately plunge into a depression.  Our politicians definitely do not want that, and so about every one hundred days they are adding another trillion dollars to the national debt, and the vast majority of that borrowed money goes directly into the veins of the corpse that we call the U.S. economy.

But even though we are absolutely flooding the system with cash stolen from future generations of Americans, economic performance has been extremely anemic.

On Thursday, the government reported that the U.S. economy grew at a 1.6 percent annualized rate during the first quarter of this year…

Gross domestic product, the broadest measure of goods and services produced across the economy, grew by 1.6% on an annualized basis in the three-month period from January through March, the Commerce Department said in its first reading of the data on Thursday.

That is much lower than the 2.4% increase forecast by LSEG economists and marks a sharp slowdown from the 3.4% pace seen during the fourth quarter. It is the slowest pace of growth in two years.

“This was a worst of both worlds report — slower than expected growth, higher than expected inflation,” said David Donabedian, chief investment officer of CIBC Private Wealth US. “The biggest setback is the acceleration in core inflation, and in particular, the services sector rising above a 5% annual rate.”

Even if the GDP numbers were accurate, and I don’t believe that they are, that would still be absolutely terrible.

At this point, some pundits are using the term “slowdown” to describe what is happening to the economy…

Some analysts believe Thursday’s weaker-than-expected report signals the start of a broader slowdown in the economy.

Personally, I am entirely convinced that if honest numbers were being used they would indicate that GDP growth is negative.

But in any event, pretty much everyone agrees that we are heading in the wrong direction.

In response to this bad economic news, stock prices plummeted.

At one point on Thursday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down more than 600 points, and it closed the day down 375 points

Stocks tumbled Thursday after the latest U.S. economic data showed a sharp slowdown in growth and pointed to persistent inflation.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average slid 375.12 points, or 0.98%, to close at 38,085.80, weighed down by steep declines in Caterpillar and IBM. The S&P 500 dropped 0.46% to finish the session at 5,048.42, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.64% to 15,611.76.

Not too long ago, the Dow was flirting with 40,000.

Since that time, it has lost nearly 2,000 points.

Will this “slide” eventually turn into an avalanche?

What is happening in the bond market is of even greater concern.

The release of the GDP numbers caused U.S. Treasury yields to go completely nuts

U.S. Treasury yields rose on Thursday after the first-quarter GDP report showed slowing growth and rising consumer prices.

The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield climbed 4.8 basis points to 4.702%, while the rate on the 2-year Treasury gained 6.1 basis points to 4.998%. At their session highs, the yields on both notes hit their highest levels since November.

Let’s keep a close eye on this.

If Treasury yields start swinging too wildly, that is going to have enormous implications for those that trade derivatives.

Shifting gears, we have also just learned that the median price of a home in the U.S. has just hit another brand new record high

It is more expensive than ever to buy a home in the U.S., according to a new report from the real estate company Redfin.

The median home price hit a record $383,725 during the four-week period ending April 21. That’s up 5.2 percent from a year ago, Redfin found, one of the largest leaps in home prices since October 2022.

Sadly, home ownership is now out of reach for a very large chunk of the population.

If you can believe it, Redfin says that the median monthly housing payment has risen “to a record $2,843”

The median monthly housing payment also jumped to a record $2,843, up 13 percent from the same period last year.

Chen Zhao, the economic research lead at Redfin, said prospective buyers should “accept that this year is probably not the time to find a dream deal.”

Who can afford a mortgage payment of $2,843 a month?

That is insane.

Home ownership has never been more unaffordable than it is right now, and young adults that are just starting out are being hit the hardest.

Earlier today, I just had to laugh when I came across an article entitled “So you may never own a home. Here’s why maybe that’s … a good thing?”

To me, that sounds eerily similar to “you will own nothing and be happy”.

That particular article is directed at young adults in Canada, but millions of young adults in the U.S. are also wondering if they will be renting for life.

Yes, there are some advantages to renting, but you aren’t building any equity.

And I think that is what the wizards on Wall Street would like to see.

I think that they envision a future in which they own almost all of the homes and the vast majority of us are renters.

The good news, if you want to call it that, is that I don’t think that things will ever get that far.

Our entire system has started to come apart at the seams, and it won’t be too long before it completely crashes.

A lot of the “wealth” that we see on Wall Street is just a mirage.

For the moment, stock prices are absurdly high because there are people out there that are willing to pay those prices.

But when conditions take a dramatic turn for the worse, the buyers will all disappear and so will the absurdly high stock prices.

So enjoy the last days of the bubble while you still can, because the clock is ticking…

“Weekend At Bernie’s Economy”: Joe Biden, Seeking Another Term, Wheels Out The Corpse Of The U.S. Economy

When I was a kid, “Weekend at Bernie’s” was one of my all-time favorite movies.  In that film, two guys worked really hard to convince everyone that their boss was still alive so that they wouldn’t get into trouble.  I remember laughing throughout that entire movie.  Today, the Biden administration is working really hard to convince all of us that the U.S. economy is still alive, and that isn’t funny at all.  A horrific cost of living crisis is absolutely crushing millions of U.S. households, large companies are conducting mass layoffs all over the nation, and the real estate industry is in a gigantic mess.  But Joe Biden and his minions would have us believe that everything is just fine.

What we are witnessing is so similar to a very shocking incident that recently happened in Brazil.

A very disturbed woman, seeking a loan, actually wheeled a corpse into a local bank

Now Joe Biden, seeking another term, is wheeling out the corpse of the U.S. economy and pretending that it is still alive.

But no matter how many fake numbers they give us, we all know the truth.

Last week, I came across a very sad post by an elderly man on a popular Internet forum, and it was one of the most heartbreaking things that I have read in a very long time…

For the first time ever, the wife went to the local food bank yesterday. We had dinner last night because she did. My heart is crushed. I have always been able to keep food in our house. We met in 84 , married in 92 and we have had some tough times sure enough. But it’s never been like this. I don’t know how people are making it. Our bills are all paid. So we are indeed fortunate. The past two years has been an ever increasing decline in our ability to make ends meet. The cost of literally everything has taken what we use to put in the bank for road trips to the coast or mountains. Now we can’t afford to even feed ourselves.

How much more are you going to take from us? You democrats have brought us low. Now we can’t even afford to eat. The wife and I are thin anyways. The wife, she weighs maybe 95 pounds. I can not let her go without food. Now I will never retire. I will die with my work boots on.

Am I alone in this? Am I the only one who has lost so much just in the last two years? Are we the only couple going without food? In all my years things have never been this bad.

Are you democrats proud of yourselves? Is this what you wanted? An elderly couple who worked their whole lives Now begging for food?

This elderly man is employed.

But the cost of living crisis has gotten so bad that he and his wife literally cannot afford enough food to eat.

This is our economy now.

And with each passing day, even more American workers are being laid off.

In fact, we just learned that Nike has decided to lay off hundreds of workers at their world headquarters

US athletic footwear and apparel company Nike announced late in the cash session on Friday that it is undergoing a restructuring effort to trim costs at its World Headquarters (WHQ) located in Beaverton, Oregon.

Michele Adams, VP of People Solutions at Nike, might be the most hated person at the company this afternoon. In a letter to staff, she wrote that “approximately 740 employees at WHQ” will be “permanently” laid off by late June.

No job in the private sector is truly safe at this point.

In recent months, we have seen dozens of large companies in the U.S. conduct mass layoffs.

And a lot more layoffs will be coming in the months ahead.

Meanwhile, the real estate industry continues to tank.

Last month, sales of previously owned homes were down 4.3 percent

Sales of previously owned homes dropped 4.3% in March compared with February, to a seasonally adjusted annualized rate of 4.19 million units, according to the National Association of Realtors. Sales were 3.7% lower than in March 2023.

High interest rates are killing home sales, and they are absolutely devastating the commercial real estate industry.

But the Federal Reserve is scared to reduce interest rates at this point, because that will just make our cost of living crisis even worse.

They have trapped themselves in a no win situation.

After years of incredibly bad decisions, those that are running our economy are out of good options.

But even though economic conditions are so bad right now, Joe Biden and his minions would like us to believe that everything is just great and that a new golden age of prosperity is right around the corner…

It is mind-blowing that Biden’s campaign ads still claim he helped the ordinary American worker. The economic bad news just keeps coming, as inflation climbs up and up in spite of propaganda to the contrary, real wages drop, and the value of the dollar goes down both at home and abroad. And even while real wages are decreasing, inflation is costing Americans an estimated $1,000 extra every month.

The rich are doing well, but the rest of us are struggling. The wealthiest Americans reportedly increased their fortunes by $195 billion just in Biden’s first 100 days in office back in 2021, and it didn’t stop there. Economist Dave Brat noted on April 10 that the wealth of America’s top 1% hit a record $44 trillion. The top 1% own half of our country’s individually held stocks, while 87% of such stocks and mutual funds belong to the top 10% of Americans.

Biden’s economy helps the uber-rich, but it is absolutely disastrous for ordinary Americans.

If you are ultra-wealthy, you are probably doing extremely well in this economic environment.

But just about everyone else is really struggling.

We really do have a “Weekend at Bernie’s economy”, and the Democrats really do have a “Weekend at Bernie’s candidate”

That video would be a lot funnier if it wasn’t so true.

By now, most of you realize that this story is not going to end well.

In my latest book entitled “Chaos”, I included a lot of practical tips that will help you get prepared for what is ahead of us.

A major economic meltdown has already begun, but we are still only in the early chapters.

And it has become exceedingly clear that the guys that are currently running the show are definitely not equipped to lead us out of this mess.

5 Reasons To Load Up On Olive Oil Now

Most preppers don`t even consider stocking olive oil, because it goes bad faster than other alternatives. Indeed, an unopened bottle of olive oil can last up to four years, while an opened bottle may start getting rancid after only 90 days.

However, olive oil has a LOT more purposes than cooking, that most people have no idea about.

I`m going to show you five ways you can use olive oil as a prepper, whether it`s around the household or when you bug out. Hopefully, you`ll see why olive oil is a great multi-purpose item that can save you a lot of money (and space) if used properly.

 #1: Body care

Olive oil is an amazing 100% natural moisturizer, so you can use it as body lotion, hand cream and even as hair conditioner. If you bug out, you can use it for softening dry skin and help scratches heal faster.

Also, if it`s freezing outside, you can apply a light layer of olive oil on your hands, face and hair, to protect them from the cold.

 #2: Leather care

If it`s good for you skin, then it`s good for your leather clothes, as well. Apply a thin layer of olive oil on your leather jacket to keep it in good condition. Do the same with your leather shoes. Olive oil helps them preserve their shine longer, saving you from spending money on new shoes.

Attention: Wipe the dust off your jacket or shoes before applying the oil!

 #3: Lubricant

Why waste money on retail lubricant when you`ve already got some in the kitchen? If you`ve got some olive oil that`s past its expiration date, don`t throw it out. Use it on squeaking doors, on knife blades or any other metal object that needs a protective coat (or just some shine). It`s 100% natural, so it won`t attack metal. On contrary, it will protect it just like any other lubricant — only it`s much cheaper.

 #4: Olive oil survival candle

This is probably the easiest DIY candle ever. I got this from GreatNorthernPrepper and I`ll share it with you, as well, because I found it very simple and useful.

 Here`s what you need:

 – Olive oil (it can be expired, makes no difference)

– Mason jar (ideally with handle)

– Wick (string, shoelaces, shirts strips, mop strands… anything that is cotton)

– Paperclip or ornament holder

Here`s what you`ll do:

STEP 1:

  • Twist the metal wire  (ornament, paperclip, stray wire) to form a ‘hook” to hold onto the edge of the jar
  • Twist the metal wire into a semi-tight loop around the wick

STEP 2:

  • Pour the Oil into the mason Jar, insert Wick into the oil

STEP 3:

  • Make sure the wick is barely above the oil, about 1/4″

STEP 4:

  • You’re done. LIGHT IT!

Here`s the step-by-step youtube video, in case you need visual aid:

Can you think of any other good reasons to keep olive oil stocked up?

Which Major City Will Completely Collapse First – Los Angeles, Chicago Or New York City?

In 2024, virtually all major U.S. cities have certain things in common.  First of all, if you visit the downtown area of one of our major cities you are likely to see garbage, human excrement and graffiti all over the place.  As you will see below, some of our core urban areas literally look like they belong in a third world country.  Most of our politicians don’t seem too concerned about doing anything to clean up all the filth, and so it shouldn’t be a surprise that rat populations are absolutely exploding all over the country.  In some of our largest cities, the total rat population is numbered in the millions.  Meanwhile, rampant theft, out of control violence, endless migration, predatory gangs and the worst drug crisis in the entire history of our nation have combined to create a “perfect storm” of social decay that is unlike anything that any of us have ever seen before.  Millions of law-abiding citizens and countless businesses have been fleeing America’s largest cities, and property values in our core urban areas have been absolutely crashing.  We really are in the early stages of a full-blown societal “collapse”, and things just keep getting worse with each passing day.

In this article, I want to focus on the three largest metropolitan areas in the United States: New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

John Williams recently took his camera with him as he walked through downtown Los Angeles, and he described what he witnessed as “hell”…

Decades of failed policies have transformed one of the greatest cities in the entire country into one of the worst.

At this point, theft has become so rampant that even the ultra-progressive politicians in California have come to the conclusion that something must be done.

So several bills that would “crack down on shoplifting” have been introduced in the state legislature

Shoplifters beware.

The California Assembly has introduced a comprehensive package of seven bills aimed at addressing the rising concerns over retail theft across the state.

One of the key initiatives is Assembly Bill 2943, jointly authored by Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur (D) and Speaker Robert Rivas (D). The bill targets serial retail thieves by introducing a new crime with penalties of up to three years behind bars for possession of stolen property with intent to resell. It also allows for the aggregation of similar thefts from different victims to charge grand theft, under specific criteria.

Hopefully something will get done, because right now a criminal in the state of California can “literally walk into a retail store every single day of the year and steaI $949 worth of merchandise” and never spend a single minute in jail.

Los Angeles has become a paradise for shoplifters, but many would argue that things are even worse in the Big Apple.

As I discussed a few days ago, New York City has “a $4.4 billion shoplifting economy”.

And approximately 90,000 packages are stolen in New York City every single day.

This is just one of the reasons why we have seen a mass exodus.

Countless New Yorkers have already left for greener pastures, and lots more are thinking of leaving

About 7 million New Yorkers plan to leave the state, a new survey revealed this month.

In a new Marist poll, 37 percent of New Yorkers—roughly 7 million people—said they plan to move away. The number was slightly more concentrated among Republicans, as 46 percent said they plan to leave the state compared to just 29 percent of Democrats.

Unsurprisingly, many of those that are fleeing are heading to Florida

For many, Florida remains one of the top places to move, but Southern states in general have been recording the biggest influx in transplants.

According to Realtor.com, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Tampa and Orlando remain some of the top locations for New Yorkers to start again.

I wouldn’t want to live in the Big Apple either.

The rat problem alone would be enough for me to move.

It just continues to escalate, and politicians are now proposing to use “rat contraceptives” to deal with “the millions of rats lurking in subway stations and empty lots”…

In New York City, the idea to distribute rat contraceptives got fresh attention in city government Thursday following the death of an escaped zoo owl, known as Flaco, who was found dead with rat poison in his system.

City Council Member Shaun Abreu proposed a city ordinance Thursday that would establish a pilot program for controlling the millions of rats lurking in subway stations and empty lots by using birth control instead of lethal chemicals. Abreu, chair of the Committee on Sanitation and Solid Waste Management, said the contraceptives also are more ethical and humane than other methods.

Unfortunately, New York City doesn’t have the worst rat problem in America.

That title actually belongs to the city of Chicago

Chicago has once again been declared the rattiest city in the U.S. according to Orkin’s annual ranking.

Los Angeles surpassed New York on this year’s list now holding the #2 spot and bringing the Big Apple down to #3, Orkin shared.

Other notable shifts included Houston, which moved 10 spots up to #20, and Charlotte, North Carolina that rose 16 spots to #21.

Somehow, the rat problem in Chicago has gone to an entirely new level in 2024.

In fact, one local resident says that it is now the worst that she has ever seen in her entire lifetime

A resurgence of rats has gotten out of control in Chicago’s Portage Park neighborhood, multiple residents explained Friday as they called for city leaders to take further action.

Diana Gazda, a resident of the Far Northwest Side community for seven decades, said she has never seen an infestation like it.

“We never had a rat problem like this,” she stated. “I’ve been here 71 years in my house.”

In addition to being world famous for rats, the Windy City is also world famous for violence.

In Chicago, you can be gunned down at any time of the day or night.

Nobody is safe, and that is especially true for police officers

A Chicago police officer was shot to death early Sunday in Gage Park on the Southwest Side in what sources are saying was an apparent carjacking.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert about 2:55 a.m. and found Officer Luis Huesca with multiple gunshot wounds in the 3100 block of West 56th Street, a police spokesperson said in a statement.

Huesca, 30, was driving home from work, according to city officials. Huesca, who was still wearing his uniform, was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

So which of these cities will completely collapse first?

I think that is a very good question.

They are all headed downhill very rapidly, and they are all being run by radical leftists.

Of course the exact same things could be said about dozens of other U.S. cities.

For years, I have been warning my readers about the “cultural transformation” that has been taking place in America.

How we raise our kids really matters.

We have been failing them for decades, and now the consequences can be very clearly seen in the streets of our major cities.

A horrific societal collapse is upon us, and yet this nation continues to refuse to change direction.

Your Family Survival Plan | Spiritual Preparedness

So you’ve heard the wake-up call and decided that it’s time to put together a family survival plan. Where do you start? Well, it’s like any good effort. You start with the intangible aspects first. You might think of this as being the “spiritual” side of preparedness.

What does that mean? Well, before anything is created in the physical, we know that it is first created in the mind (though some call it the heart)—that is the spiritual aspect of humankind.

Consider how a high-rise building, a bridge, or a house is built. Before the finished product comes into being, architects and designers are involved in envisioning, studying, measuring, drawing, and planning.

In a like manner, for your family survival plan to be solid, sturdy, and lasting, you may wish to approach it at first as an architect would. You don’t want to jump into “piling up bricks and mortar, lumber, metal, and glass”—and then discover your building is built on sand!

Consider how the Survival Preparedness Rules of Three apply:

(From the book “Doctor Prepper’s Making the Best of Basics: Family Preparedness Handbook”, chapter 4, “The Path to Family Preparedness”)

Building a Spiritual Foundation

First, let’s look at the spiritual qualities that are the foundation for building your personal or family survival plan:

  • a deep and abiding love for your family
  • a strong desire to protect them
  • acceptance that yours is a sacred duty to responsibly prepare your family physically, mentally, and practically for an uncertain future
  • courage to make the tough decisions—the first one being to commit to protecting your family
  • ability to act on your decisions and keep taking the next step(s)
  • gratitude for your opportunity to do something now before you need it
  • fortitude to keep going when the going gets tough
  • faith in your abilities
  • trust in your Maker—to guide you in what to do, where to go, and how to proceed—and humility to ask for help
  • willingness to sacrifice the less important expenditures of time, money, and focus on those things that will provide the long term feeling of the peace of preparedness
  • readiness to do whatever it takes
  • charity to act not only in the best interest of your own family, but to share the knowledge and skills you acquire with your extended family, neighbors, and coworkers.
  • And finally…hope for a bright future

Evaluate yourself in relation to these qualities stated above. Are you ready to move forward?
Know that one of the advantages of choosing a preparedness lifestyle is that you continue to mature in these spiritual qualities as you step forth in faith.

 Developing Commitment to Preparedness

One of the great benefits of preparedness is ongoing personal growth. Each time you learn a new survival skill, you grow in your confidence to be able to handle the emergencies that life throws your way.

You’re reading this blog because you are, at the very least, concerned about protecting your family. The real question is: are you committed to protecting your family?

Many people make the choice to become prepared. But there is a big difference between making a choice and making a commitment!

Don’t confuse decision with action!

This story illustrates the magnitude of difference between choosing a plan and committing to a plan:

Three frogs are sitting on a lily pad in a small pond. One hungry frog ponders for a moment after looking at some ants on the shore. He then tells his two frog friends he’s going to jump from the lily pad and onto the bank of the pond to get some ants for lunch.

How many frogs are then left on the lily pad?

Everyone assumes the answer to be two frogs––but the fact is that only a decision was made––and all three frogs are still sitting on the pad.

The lesson? A decision is not an actual commitment! A choice is a first step to commitment––but it is not the commitment!

Do not procrastinate the time of implementing your family’s preparedness plan. You can make preparedness become a reality only when you act on your decision and put your plan into action!

My Overall Thoughts On The Bluetti AC200P

First off, I was blown away by the capabilities of this power station.

It gave me a surprising amount of clean, quiet power and captured solar power anytime the sun was out.

Its combinations of features (clean, quiet, solar, and power storage amounts) are real game-changers for survival and camping!

Yes, it is a serious investment – but so is ANY fuel generator you could buy.

So if you’re looking to purchase either a fuel generator OR this Bluetti Power Station, you have to look at the INCREMENTAL costs and compare as close to apples to apples on the power capabilities.

But then you must factor in the clean, quiet, solar aspects.

So while you give up some pure power production, I feel it more than offsets the costs with all the positive aspects.

But ultimately, it comes down to your personal choice and priorities.

So, let me expound upon those pros and cons in more detail…

Bluetti AC200P Advantages and Disadvantages

Major Advantages

Safe, Clean Power

I believe the biggest advantage of the Bluetti AC200P is how clean it is.

It’s not even close when you compare it to a fuel generator.

You can run this unit safely INSIDE your home. You can’t say that for any fuel generators.

People who don’t know any better run their fuel generators inside every year and die.

Seriously, it’s a major risk if you make this mistake.

For example:

According to consumerreports.org:

Generator misuse leads to deaths from carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning, injuries from close calls, and burns—all of which happen too often during power outages and storms. The biggest problem, according to reports from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is CO poisoning. Portable generators can produce deadly levels of carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas.

Carbon monoxide can kill you in as little as 5 minutes if the levels are high enough, according to safety guidelines from the National Institutes of Health. And data from the CPSC shows that from 2005 to 2017 more than 900 people died of carbon monoxide poisoning while using portable generators.

However, with the Bluetti, there are NO toxic, deadly fumes to worry about.

It’s Whisper Quiet

This is the second biggest advantage the Bluetti Power Station provides.

Walk around any neighborhood after a power outage, and you’ll hear the loud and constant hum of fuel generators EVERYWHERE.

They are quite loud and annoying, and it’s always been a necessary evil.

But with the Bluetti, you can capture and use power in a mere whisper.

If you’re a prepper, you’ll want a stealthy solution to your backup power system – the Bluetti Power Station IS your answer.

And this no-noise feature is even more useful during camping.

I could run all my electronics and recharge my deep-cycle battery without generating campground NOISE!

Fuel generators are loud – that’s why most campgrounds and restrictions on when you can run them.

If you want to avoid these restrictions, get the Bluetti.

“Free” Fuel Via Solar

You can’t beat solar when it comes to survival and preparedness.

And the Bluetti AC200P is the ideal portable power station to capture that free energy.

In a grid-down scenario, the Bluetti (paired with solar panels) will never leave you without some power.

This is a HUGE advantage in a dire power outage emergency.

For example, if you depend on a C-PAP machine for health reasons – you need a reliable backup power system.

This Bluetti Power Station does just that with its solar capabilities.

Lots of Output Options

The Bluetti AC200P has a ton of power outlets.

This beast has 6 typical AC outlets, DC outlets, USB outlets, etc.

The bottom line is there’s essentially no typical electronic device you can’t power using the Bluetti.

Major Disadvantages

For A “Portable” Unit, It’s Fairly Heavy

The Bluetti AC200P is quite heavy and has no built-in cart system (like many fuel-based house generators do).

This can lead to a real struggle when loading it into a vehicle trunk or moving it around your home.

At 60 lbs., it IS PORTABLE.

But you also want to station it in a central location and leave it there when in use.

So you want to avoid moving it more than necessary.

Won’t Completely Replace A Large Fuel-Based Generator

While this is one of the biggest power stations available today, it’s still not ready to replace your home generator.

There’s not enough power to keep your systems up and running simultaneously for a long time.

However, if you’re willing to reduce your energy significantly in a crisis, you CAN get by pretty well with the Bluetti.

So for some families, it may be just enough; it’ll come up just short for most.

And for the price, a fuel-based home generator provides more power per dollar (when this review was written).

Price

The Bluetti AC200P is a bit of an upfront investment.

And the total price goes up when you add solar panels (which you SHOULD do!).

However, using it regularly can offset this initial cost over time.

If you use it to charge your cell phones and run a C-PAP machine nightly, gradually, month by month, you save some on your electric bill.

This is assuming you’re using solar power to recharge the unit.

And you have to factor in the INCREMENTAL cost vs. a traditional fuel-based generator that can provide a similar amount of power.

The price is worth it once you look at it as a whole.

Bluetti AC200P Charge Time Estimates

Below are approximate estimates of how long you can power a common device.

This may help you decide whether the Bluetti AC200P is the right power station for you.

Note: The following estimates assume you’re only powering THAT single electrical device at a time.

If you run several devices simultaneously, the charge time estimates drop.

CHARGE TIME ESTIMATES

  • Refrigerator(800w) 2.1Hrs+CPAP(60w) 28+ Hrs
  • Laptop(60w) 28+ Hrs
  • Fan(12w) 140+ Hrs
  • Smartphone 180+ Hrs
  • Led Lantern Light(10w) 170+ Hrs
  • LCD TV(100w) 17+ Hrs

Final Thoughts

For the right person, the Bluetti AC200P Power Station is the ideal solution to your emergency backup and camping power needs.

It’s best for those who understand its limitations and are fine strictly managing their power needs during a power outage.

It’s also best for those who live where the sun is reliably abundant.

Or anyone who prioritizes producing power with no noise or dangerous toxic fumes.

If these features are important to you, then I bet you’ll be completely satisfied with the Bluetti AC200P.

If not, then you should continue searching for other options..

Today, I will show you this impressive piece of gear from Bluetti.

It’s their 2000-watt power station. And I will also show you the solar panel kit that goes with it.

Now, before we jump into the power station specifics and whether it’s good for preparing, you might be asking, what the heck is a power station anyway?

Because these units are still relatively new, many people are confused about what they do and how they work.

In simple terms, a power station is a large portable battery with an intuitive user interface.

Basically, it’s a large battery with a lot of inputs and outputs.

All these power inputs and outputs make it sort of a smart battery, which can power many household items or camping appliances.

For example, it can power a refrigerator, a small freezer, entertainment systems, microwaves, small ovens, computers, heated blankets, C-PAP machines, et cetera. You get the idea.

Yes, this unit can run a full-size refrigerator for several hours or even longer if you’ve got hooked up to solar panels.

I did it. I tested It. It works.

So now that you have a better idea of what a power station is and its potential let’s go over the main functions and features of this Bluetti AC200P Power Station.

This unit has five different charging methods.

The first and most straightforward method is to use a three-pronged electrical cord and the power supply to go from your wall straight to this unit.

The second way to charge this unit is to use a series of solar panels out in the sun.

You hook the solar panels up in a series, feed that into this smart battery, and turn it into a solar generator.

So yes, if possible, you’ll want to pair solar panels with this.

Another way to power your Bluetti Power Station is through a running vehicle.

This is done via the 12-volt outlet, or what some people call your cigarette lighter in your car.

The next method to charge this power station is using a fuel-based generator.

Basically, it’s similar to the wall plug hookup.

Only, instead of plugging into the wall, you’re plugging into your generator while it’s running.

And finally, you can hook up the power station off a lead-acid battery.

You connect the positive and negative poles of the battery to feed that energy into your power station.

So as you can see, there are many ways to keep your Bluetti AC200P Power Station ready for an emergency or a quick escape outdoors for camping.

Okay, let’s move on to the power-out options.

First of all, this power station has one 12-volt, 10-amp DC out.

It’s got a 12-volt, 25 amp DC out and two 12-volt, 3 amp outputs.

It’s got two type C 60-watt outs and four 5-volt, 10-amp USB ports.

And it’s got six typical AC out, either 100 or 120 volts. Six of those. That’s your typical plugin for most appliances right there.

So I primarily use the typical AC output plugs. And there’s six of those.

They provide six because that’s the output you’ll often use for small electronic devices or appliances.

We’re talking refrigerators, smartphones, computers, C-PAP machines, Et cetera.

The power station’s also able to provide 12-volt output power.

This is a great option for charging your pop-up or RVs deep-cycle marine battery.

I had to buy a special adapter that went from this DC port, and then it comes out into two alligator clips that you then plug onto the ends of the deep cycle marine batteries posts.

And you plug in, turn the power station on, and it’s that easy.

It starts charging the deep cycle marine battery backup.

You can also use that same method to charge a dead car battery as well.

Now that you have a good overview of this power station, here’s the real question.

Should You Get One?

So there are two main reasons to get the Bluetti Power Station.

First of all, it could be used as an emergency backup when the grid power is down.

Or it can be a very nice camping accessory.

Let’s go over the Bluetti as a home emergency backup system first.

And then, we’ll go over its use as an off-grid camping system.

As an emergency back-to-power supply, the Bluetti will help you get through shorter-term emergencies with some extra luxuries.

However, it won’t be enough for most people to replace your full-blown home generator fully.

To give you an idea of what this power station you can do, here’s a chart I found.

It provides some estimates of typical run times for different devices.

My own test results for some of these devices were right in line with the numbers on this chart.

So I feel like they’re fairly good approximations for all the devices listed.

Now, before you get too excited, remember these approximate run times are if you’re running that single device only.

If you start powering multiple devices at once, let’s say your refrigerator, your television, your laptop, and a microwave, all at the same time, that’s really poor power management in a crisis.

So shame on you.

But you’re also going to run through all the available battery power fast.

And with that said, this unit is perfect for providing power for smaller electronic devices with ease, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, video-game consoles, and TVs for quite some time.

And since you can recharge the power station with solar panels, you’re never fully out of options for long.

If you use all of your power up, sure, you’re now at the mercy of the sun, but that’s better than nothing.

And if you’re smart with your energy use, there could be enough power to support several smaller electronic devices perpetually.

So while the Bluetti AC200P Power Station is a very nice addition to the whole-house power backup system, it’s not ready to replace the traditional whole-house generator unless you have very low power needs.

But in a real crisis, if you forget everything except a refrigerator and one smartphone during critical emergencies and to keep your solar panels out and pointed to the sun whenever available, you can probably keep your food from spoiling and your phone operational for an extended period of time.

So again, with wise power management, this unit can really help provide some much-needed power during a multi-day power outage.

Now, before we move on, there’s one aspect of this power station that’s worth noting for preparedness.

A power station provides clean, quiet power.

I want to let that sink in for just one moment.

With a fuel-based generator, there’s no way to run it without everyone in the neighborhood hearing it.

There’s always a way to muffle a camping generator, or there’s a way to try to run it quieter.

But in my opinion, this power station’s superpower is that it almost produces zero noise.

Now, to be honest, it’s not completely silent.

It does have a cooling fan that kicks on from time to time.

But it’s not really louder than a laptop cooling fan.

So compared to a fuel-based generator, it’s pretty much silent.

It also doesn’t produce any toxic fumes.

So you can keep this unit inside your home when you’re using it.

This ability allows you to power your critical appliance without nosy neighbors even knowing about it.

So if you’re at all concerned about your neighbors trying to mooch or steal off you during a crisis.

Because hey, you have the luxury of power, and they don’t.

Then this unit provides that sort of stealth.

Off Grid Camping – Boondocking

Let’s now take a look At where the Bluetti really shines; Off-grid camping.

I recently took this unit with me on a camping trip to the Sand Dunes National Parks near Alamosa, Colorado.

Side note, if you ever get a chance to go there, do it.

It’s incredible. Stunning.

And we went the first week of April.

So I was banking on the power station to keep my family and me warm and comfortable in the chili overnight temps.

For example, on the first night, the temperatures briefly dropped down into the twenties. Fortunately, our rented pop-up camper has a small propane heater and heated mattresses.

But the location we camped at, Zapata Falls Campground, has no power whatsoever.

So in order to run the furnace and the heated mattress, we had to rely on the deep cycle marine battery and this Bluetti Power Station.

One thing to note is that running the heated mattress off the marine battery is not possible.

It’s just the way the pop-up campers’ electrical system is set up.

In order to take advantage of the heated mattresses, the power station was our only option.

The great news is the Bluetti Power Station was perfect for such a task.

All three nights, I was able to run both heated mattresses, the one my wife and I slept on and the one the kids slept on.

And it helped keep everyone nice and toasty, even though the outside temperatures were frigid.

And after this experience with cold-weather camping, I’m confident we could have enjoyed camping in temperatures that dip down into the teens.

This is a big deal to me because I hate crowded campgrounds.

So to me, the Bluetti Power Station significantly opens up shoulder season camping, which is much less crowded.

So with this power station, I can go camping nearly any time of the year, as long as we avoid blizzards or deep-freeze winter temperatures.

Now, the Bluetti AC200P Power Station was not only up to the challenge of running heated mattresses.

But as long as I took advantage of running charging every day, I could also keep our small electronic devices powered up.

And we were able to cook some delicious cinnamon rolls on our small toaster.

And even, one morning, we made pizza pockets one evening.

So I want to go over some specific setups and uses and what I figured out while I was on my camping trip.

I showed up at the campsite with the power station at 100%, which equates to 2000 watt-hours.

The first time I set solar panels up for camping, I set them out in an open area and tipped the angle to capture as much sun as possible.

While this did an all-right job of recharging the power station.

I was also slightly disappointed at how much progress it made over two hours.

For example:

When I hooked up the power station to the solar panels for the first time, it was down to about 33% capacity or 660 watts.

Obviously, heading in towards the evening, I was concerned I might not have enough power to get through the chili night with the heated mattresses. By the end of the two hours, it only charged up to about 57% or 1400 watts.

At this rate, about 240 watts per hour, I’d need to have the solar panels set up for nearly five and a half hours in order to get packed to a hundred percent.

And like I said, the sun was going down. So my rate was getting less and less every moment.

The other downside of this setup is that it took several minutes of work to set up the solar panels.

While it’s not hard work, per se.

It is a bit of a hassle after a long day of hiking.

Plus, we had to get the fire started and get dinner ready and keep the dog and the kids happy, and on and on.

So the setup and tear down onto the solar panels quickly became a bit of a pain point.

Not to mention having to lug the 60-pound power station between the camper and the solar panels each time I wanted to charge.

Again, it’s not that big of a deal.

But it could be for someone older or not as strong.

I’d much prefer to leave the power station in the camper itself. But my cords were not quite long enough to do that and get full sun.

Another issue with this solar panel setup is it did attract quite a bit of attention.

Everyone who drove by saw them. And two people decided to stop by and ask a bunch of questions.

Now, if you’re looking to meet people at your campground, this is a great way to do that.

However, most folks also understand that a solar setup like this isn’t cheap.

So now you’ve got to worry about an opportunistic thief snagging your gear when you’re away from your campground.

So after two days of these minor problems, I got smart and made some strategic adjustments to my recharging setup.

I decided to try putting my solar panels flat on top of the pop-up trailer and ran the charging cable from the roof through the Velcro side of the camper and down into the power station.

This setup helped me avoid moving the cumbersome 60-pound power station unit any more than necessary.

And it also kept the power station out of the sun, which is recommended to keep the unit cool.

As with all electronics, overheating can result in premature failure and longevity issues.

I was obviously interested in the security of such a setup because if I put the solar panels on the roof, it’d become even more of a hassle to put them up and take them down each time I wanted to recharge the power station.

The great news is, once I laid the panels on the flat roof, I couldn’t even tell they were up there.

I looked from all angles of the campground, anywhere our camper was visible, to see how obvious it was to anybody passing by that I had expensive solar panels up on top.

So once everything was set up, the only thing that was visible was the tiny cord coming off the roof and into the side of the pop-up.

This cord was facing away from the road.

So with this new setup, I was confident enough in the security to leave the solar panels and power station in a charging setup while my family and I went on a short hike up to Zapata Falls.

It was about a half-mile each way.

I was gone for about an hour and a half total.

So I was able to charge pretty much all day with this setup.

And the solar panels pointed straight up, helping maximize charging during the bright lunch hour.

So how did this setup do?

When I left for our hike, the Bluetti Power Station was down to about 34% or 480 watts.

And when I got back an hour and a half later, it was roughly 55% or 1100 watts. But that was when things got really interesting.

We were entering the best part of the day regarding solar panel production.

And from 11:30 to about 02:30 PM, the power station went from 55% up to a hundred percent, or 900 watts, in about three hours.

Now that’s an impressive 300 watts per hour.

I was pleasantly surprised by this rate and was glad to have the power station back up to a hundred percent well before the evening.

This felt way better than limping into the evening with only a half-full power station.

Now I was charging all my devices and appliances and recharging the power station without moving the unit or the solar panels around.

It was in a permanent location that was hidden away from prying eyes and creating no noise or toxic fumes.

If these features are important to you, clean, quiet, hidden power, and you love camping, then this Bluetti Power Station is a big winner.

Now I also tested charging the power station using our Jeep Cherokees battery while driving to and from the sand dunes.

I was excited to test this out as I felt like this could be a significant win and the main way to keep the power station battery full on an extended trip.

Plus, I liked the idea of taking the expensive power station with me on our adventures away from the campground for security purposes.

However, I was slightly disappointed at how much power I could generate this way.

During my test, I was only driving for a total of an hour or so. But it also gave me about a 10% bump in power. That’s about 200 watts per hour, meaning it would take about 10 hours of driving to go from zero back up to a hundred. I like that it’s another way to keep the power station charged up during long travel days.

So, after all my uses and testing, where are my overall thoughts on the Bluetti AC200P Power Station and the solar panel kit?

I was pretty impressed.

I didn’t expect to be able to power my large refrigerator, yet it did. And it did so for eight or 10 hours.

Now, I live in Colorado. So we get a lot of sunny days here.

So I’d rarely be 100% out of power at any given time during a power outage.

And when the sun is shining, I could probably power the refrigerator and several smaller devices here and there as well.

Plus, this device significantly extends my camping season and keeps me warm and toasty even in bitter overnight temps.

And I feel like that’s where a power station like this separates itself from a camping generator.

  • You get most of the pros of a fuel-based generator without all the cons.
  • You get ample amounts of quiet, clean, hidden, flexible power distribution for emergencies and camping.
  • And as a prepared survivalist who loves outdoor adventures, the Bluetti Power Station not only provides some peace of mind for a power outage. It also provides a better camping experience.

Israel Is Mobilizing 2 Additional Brigades As The War Expands Rapidly

More reservists are needed on the front line “to defend the State of Israel and ensure the security of its citizens,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement. Israel is calling up two additional brigades as the war in the Middle East expands at a rather rapid pace.

This mobilization comes just days after Iran attempted to attack Israel and a week after Israel pulled most of its ground forces out of the Palestinian enclave, in what the military leadership described as preparation for a mission in the city of Rafah.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under pressure from his coalition partners to send ground troops into the city on the Egyptian border, where some 1.3 million Palestinians are estimated to be crammed, according to a report by RT. The US, a key supplier of military aid to Israel, has expressed concerns that an operation in Rafah would cause significant civilian casualties.

Israel has also vowed to “exact a price” for Iran’s retaliatory attack over the weekend. Ahead of a war cabinet meeting on Sunday, Israel’s centrist minister Benny Gantz vowed to “build a regional coalition and exact the price from Iran in the fashion and timing that is right for us.”

Iran has said the attack on Israel was in response to an Israeli strike on its embassy compound in Damascus, Syria earlier this month. The Islamic regime has accused Israel of the April 1 attack which killed seven Iranian military personnel, including senior commanders. -CNBC

“Right now, they certainly are seriously considering direct strikes on Iran, because that is a clearest path back to deterrence,” according to Ryan Bohl, senior Middle East and North Africa analyst at risk intelligence platform Rane Network. But Israel will need to strike a delicate balance, he noted, highlighting that “they don’t want an overt conflict with Iran.”

The less risky tactic is a “covert escalation,” where the Israelis will be “looking for ways where they can get their shadow war back into the shadows with greater intensity,” Bohl told CNBC’sSquawk Box Asia” on Monday.

This announcement on Sunday came after Western assistance helped Israeli forces repel a barrage of Iranian drones and missiles.

Iran Launched Over 200 Drones And Missiles At Israel

Tehran launched the attack in retaliation for an airstrike on its consulate in Damascus on April 1, which it blamed on Israel. The IDF claimed that together with its partners, it had stopped some 99% of Iranian projectiles.

Commenting on the Iranian attack, IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari stressed that the Israeli military “has not lost sight” of its goals in Gaza. “Hamas and Iran want to ignite the Middle East and escalate the region,” he claimed.

OBSOLETE MAN: Leading Bconomist Warns That “Almost All Forms of Human Labor” Will Be Taken Over by AI

This article was originally published by Cassie B. at Natural News.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is very troubling in many respects. Although there are some cases where it may prove to be incredibly useful, the fear of what the technology could mean for many types of jobs is warranted. It is already replacing humans for tasks like coding, designing, customer service and writing, albeit with mixed results. But while some types of professionals may think the nature of their work means AI isn’t a threat, those within the tech world who have their finger on the pulse of the latest advancements in AI have made it perfectly clear that they think all jobs will soon be taken over by computers. One such individual is former Treasury Secretary and leading economist Larry Summers.

He recently joined the board of directors for ChatGPT creators OpenAI, and he has served in the Obama and Clinton administrations. Summers is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission. His connections to the global elites give a lot of weight to the predictions he makes about the world’s economic future, so humanity should take heed of his recent prediction that nearly all types of labor are poised to be replaced by artificial intelligence.

Some AI experts think it could be just a few years, although Summers thinks the timeline may be slightly longer. According to Summers, these changes will set in relatively quickly once the technology is in place, however. He believes that it might take a little longer than we think to get there, but once it does, the evolution will be dizzyingly fast.

“If one takes a view over the next generation, this could be the biggest thing that has happened in economic history since the Industrial Revolution,” he said. “This offers the prospect of not replacing some forms of human labor, but almost all forms of human labor.”

AI could be even more transformative than the internet

It’s a pretty heavy statement that points to the type of future we can expect. The Industrial Revolution was absolutely transformative, moving the developed world from manual labor to mechanization. Its impact cannot be overstated, so any comparisons to that pivotal time should not be ignored.

In fact, AI could be even more transformative than the internet itself, and those who aren’t paying attention to this will be left behind. AI marks a shift toward the automation of cognitive tasks that we thought needed human intelligence until now. This will redefine job roles across the board, and the implications are numerous.

AI encompasses a broad range of software, from the generative AI tools making recent headlines to self-driving technology. We’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to its potential. AI will change healthcare in many ways, such as speeding up treatment, addressing understaffing issues and giving people access to healthcare around the clock. Although this is something people are rightfully nervous about, it can also help those with medical anxiety or transportation issues. Robots will also be doing tasks people don’t want to do and may even replace some types of manual labor.

As a result, emotional intelligence may prove to be more important than IQ in the future. As Summers points out, “AI will substitute for a doctor making a difficult diagnosis…before it substitutes for a nurse’s ability to hold a patient’s hand when the patient is frightened.”

The 2023 Generative AI Impact Forecast from IT research company Forrester predicts that 2.4 million American jobs will be taken over by AI by 2030, with those commanding salaries upwards of $90,000 per year most likely to be affected. They found that 78% of legal occupations could become obsolete, while 57% of office jobs, 53% of computer and math-related occupations, and 50% of healthcare occupations could be replaced by AI.

Almost Everyone Missed One Of The Main Points Of The Eclipse

A lot of people were expecting a lot of things to happen on the day of the Great American Eclipse of 2024, and none of them happened.  Personally, I did not expect to see any sort of a major disaster or emergency on April 8th, and this is an opinion that I expressed over and over again during the weeks leading up to the eclipse.  But without a doubt, I believe that this eclipse was a sign and a warning.  In particular, the fact that the Great American Eclipse of 2024 completed the giant “X” over the New Madrid fault zone that the Great American Eclipse of 2017 started is such an obvious warning that I can’t believe that almost everyone is ignoring it.  That giant “X” over the New Madrid fault zone was literally one of the main points of the eclipse, but so few people are talking about it.

Earlier today, I was watching coverage of the eclipse on ABC News, and I thought that overall they did a pretty good job.

But of course there was no mention of the giant “X” over America that was being finished by the Great American Eclipse of 2024.

And there was no mention that the precise intersection of the two eclipses fell in southern Illinois.

I am sure that the other major networks also chose to ignore the obvious.

But somebody out there has certainly been trying to draw attention to what the eclipse on 4/8 really meant.

On Friday, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake rattled New York City on the exact same day that an earthquake at a depth of precisely 4.8 miles shook the New Madrid fault zone

The New Madrid Seismic Zone started rocking early Friday morning.

    The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a magnitude 2.1 earthquake at 12:17 a.m. April 5.

The tremor was centered along the Mississippi River in Lake County, Tennessee, about 3 miles northeast of Caruthersville and 26.5 miles northeast of Blytheville. The USGS said it had a depth of 7 kilometers (4.8 miles).

    Just another coincidence, eh?

That quake was part of a mini-swarm of 5 earthquakes that hit the New Madrid fault zone that day…

I am not a scientist and I’m not saying that eclipses and earthquakes are related, but I do find it interesting that a mini-swarm of 5 quakes has just hit the New Madrid, Missouri area just days before Monday’s historic total solar eclipse that will cross that region.

The USGS has confirmed there are at least 5 New Madrid, Missouri quakes as of this writing. 2 happened early Friday morning and there may be more now, but 5 is the total as of this writing.

What we are witnessing right now are warnings.

Someday there will be an apocalyptic earthquake along the New Madrid fault zone that will permanently alter the geography of the United States.

But it isn’t time for that yet.

The dividing of the land of Israel comes first, and this is something that the Biden administration seems absolutely determined to accomplish

For decades the U.S. has pushed a two-state solution to the conflict in the Middle East but not formally recognized an independent Palestinian state. That may be about to change.

The Biden administration is drawing up options to enact the policy after Israel’s current war in Gaza, a senior administration official told NBC News, a move that could offer political, legal and symbolic power for Palestinians and add to international pressure on Israel to engage in meaningful talks for a long-term peace.

We have been warned that if we divide the land of Israel our land will be divided.

But the Biden administration plans to do it anyway.

Recently, a simulation of what a magnitude 7.7 earthquake on the New Madrid fault would look like was conducted…

Of course we have seen much more powerful earthquakes than that in the region in the past.

In 1811 and 1812, there was a series of three massive earthquakes that all measured “between 8.3 and 8.7 on the Richter Scale”

The seismic zone generated some of the largest earthquakes in U.S. history. Three earthquakes struck between 1811-1812, destroying several settlements along the Mississippi River and spurring a series of aftershocks that lasted for months. Scientists have estimated the intensity of the earthquakes as between 8.3 and 8.7 on the Richter Scale, according to the Iowa Geological Survey.

These three absolutely enormous quakes were part of a series of more than 2,000 earthquakes that rattled the New Madrid fault zone during those two years.

In the entire history of the continental United States, we have never seen anything quite like those quakes

The New Madrid earthquakes were the biggest earthquakes in American history. They occurred in the central Mississippi Valley, but were felt as far away as New York City, Boston, Montreal, and Washington D.C. President James Madison and his wife Dolly felt them in the White House. Church bells rang in Boston. From December 16, 1811 through March of 1812 there were over 2,000 earthquakes in the central Midwest, and between 6,000-10,000 earthquakes in the Bootheel of Missouri where New Madrid is located near the junction of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers.

Prior to the catastrophic New Madrid earthquakes in 1811 and 1812, two solar eclipses actually formed a giant “X” over the heartland of America.

The giant “X” in the vicinity of Cleveland, Ohio that a solar eclipse in 1806 started was completed by a solar eclipse in 1811.

Meanwhile, Tecumseh’s Comet was getting a ton of attention as it raced through the heavens.

Three months after the solar eclipse in 1811, the shaking in the New Madrid fault zone began.

Now we see a very similar scenario playing out right in front of our eyes.

On April 8th, the Great American Eclipse of 2024 completed the giant “X” over the heartland of America that the Great American Eclipse of 2017 started.

Meanwhile, the Devil Comet is racing through our solar system for the first time in 71 years.

You can dismiss this if you want.

    But let’s see what happens.

I am entirely convinced that “X” marks the spot, and scientists assure us that it is just a matter of time before extremely destructive earthquakes hit the New Madrid fault zone once again.

So keep a very close eye on what the Biden administration does.  Once a Palestinian state is formally established, we will definitely be in the danger zone.
