Earlier this year the Federal Reserve declared war on inflation, and since that time we have seen a series of interest rate hikes that has been absolutely breathtaking.  We knew that this would negatively impact the financial markets, and we have already seen trillions of dollars in asset values wiped out.  We also knew that this would negatively impact the housing market, and right now housing prices are plummeting all over the nation.  But Fed officials assured us that any short-term “pain” would be worth it because inflation would be brought under control.  Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened.  In fact, on Thursday we learned that the core consumer price index has just hit “the highest level since 1982”…

A closely watched measure of US consumer prices rose by more than forecast to a 40-year high in September, pressuring the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates even more aggressively to stamp out persistent inflation.

The core consumer price index, which excludes food and energy, increased 6.6% from a year ago, the highest level since 1982, Labor Department data showed Thursday. From a month earlier, the core CPI climbed 0.6% for a second month.

The overall CPI increased 0.4% last month, and was up 8.2% from a year earlier.

The Fed has been repeatedly hitting inflation with an over-sized sledgehammer, and it isn’t working.

Prices just continue to surge higher month after month.

In particular, the price of food is rising at a rate that is extremely alarming…

Prices at the grocery store continued to soar last month, adding even more pressure to shoppers’ wallets.

The food at home index, a proxy for grocery store prices, increased 0.7% in September from the month prior and a stunning 13% over the last year, according to new government data released Thursday.

Fed officials assured us that they had everything under control, but it was just a charade.

Thursday’s report makes it exceedingly clear that the Fed’s plan is failing in a major way…

“This inflation report today was an unmitigated disaster,” wrote Christopher S. Rupkey, chief economist at Fwdbonds, a financial markets research company. “It shows whatever Fed officials are doing, it is just not working.”

So will the Fed change course?

Of course not.

Instead, they are going to give us more of the same.

According to Fox Business, it is being anticipated that another 75 basis point rate hike is on the way in November…

The report will also have significant implications for the Federal Reserve, which has embarked on one of the fastest tightening paths in decades. Policymakers have already approved five straight rate hikes, including three back-to-back 75-basis-point increases, and have shown no signs of slowing down.

Following the hotter-than-expected September inflation report, the central bank is widely expected to approve a fourth straight 75-basis-point increase when policymakers next meet at the beginning of November.

As I warned many months ago, these rate hikes are not going to solve the inflation crisis.

But they will absolutely kill the housing market.

This week, mortgage rates surged close to 7 percent…

Average long-term U.S. mortgage rates reached their highest level in more than 20 years this week and are likely to climb even further as the Federal Reserve has all but promised more rate increases in its battle to tamp down persistent inflation.

Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac reported Thursday that the average key 30-year rate climbed to 6.92 percent from 6.66 percent last week. Some lenders are now even offering rates above 7 percent.

Last year at this time, the rate was 3.05 percent.

If the Federal Reserve keeps hiking rates, that will just push mortgage rates higher and higher.

And that will inevitably push home prices much lower.

In fact, home prices are already starting to come down all across the United States…

A home-price slump taking place across popular housing markets in the Sun Belt and other regions could result in some relative bargains for shrewd homebuyers, according to market data released Monday.

The median home listing price has plunged by more than 10% in Austin, Texas, since June, according to an analysis conducted by Realtor.com. That marked the steepest decline of any city in the US over that period.

If you are a potential homeowner that has been forced out of the market by rising mortgage rates, you could try to rent a place while you wait for home prices to fall.

But thanks to raging inflation, rents are absolutely skyrocketing in many of our largest cities…

The latest numbers were released in Realtor.com’s September report, and showed that median rent across the country as a whole rose 7.8 percent last month, and remained a whopping 25 percent higher than pre-pandemic rents.

The 10 cities with the highest median rent increases last month were Chicago at 23.9 percent, Boston with 19.9 percent, New York with 18.2 percent, Providence with 16.7 percent, Oklahoma City at 13.8 percent, Miami with 13.2 percent, Kansas City at 11.2 percent, San Jose with 10.7 percent, Cleveland with 9.8 percent, and Hartford with 9.6 percent.

I still remember the days when I could rent a nice apartment for 300 dollars a month.

Sadly, those days are long gone.  In fact, one couple in New York recently decided to move out of the city entirely when the rent on their one-bedroom apartment went from $5,000 a month to $7,000 a month…

Last May, Charlotte, 31, and her husband packed up their one-bedroom apartment on Christopher Street after learning the rent would likely skyrocket from $5,000 per month to $7,000. The couple loved living in the West Village, but homeownership was out of reach, even with her job in finance and him being in tech.

They were both working from home, so they could live anywhere. It was time, they decided, to leave New York.

Can you imagine paying $7,000 a month for a one bedroom apartment?

That is nuts!

Unfortunately, our whole system is going crazy at this point.

The great economic meltdown that I warned my readers about for so long has begun, and the months ahead are going to be very painful.

Fed officials will do all they can to fix the giant mess that they have created, but it isn’t going to work.

New research conducted by Moderna in partnership with the Kaiser Permanente healthcare group reveals that the company’s messenger RNA-based (mRNA) Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” cause the immune system to turn against itself in just a few months.

Also known as negative efficacy, the phenomenon involves progressive immune degradation in a manner similar to AIDS and other autoimmune diseases. In essence, the “fully vaccinated” become walking immune time bombs that Moderna claims require additional injection intervention.

It appears that the only reason Moderna even piloted this new damning study is to market new and additional shots to “fix” the problem created by the first round of shots. (Related: Moderna’s entire existence is nothing more than a stock market pump-and-dump scam.)

After 150 days, the company says, its first mRNA injections remain above 50 percent “effective” against BA.1, a so-called “sub-variant” of the Omicron, or Moronic in anagram, variant. The first two shots and initial booster are not, however, effective against any of the other variants or subvariants, the company claims.

The primary double-dose and booster regimen produces negative efficacy against the “currently dominant BA.5” subvariant after just a few months, the company claims. The same is true for BA.2, BA.4, and BA.1.12.1, though at varying intervals.

“Negative effectiveness means that a vaccinated person is more likely to contract COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, than an unvaccinated person,” one report explains.

Getting triple-jabbed increases risk of covid infection, Moderna admits

All in all, getting the first three “doses” of Moderna’s mRNA offerings for the Fauci Flu is a really great way to destroy your natural immune system, the company now admits.

It is that third booster, the company insists, that causes immune resistance to turn negative, leaving a person prone to infection with “covid.” Negative efficacy could also “be due to differential risk behaviors among vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals when protection from antibodies becomes minimal,” the company says.

Hung Fu Tseng, a Kaiser researcher in Southern California, refused to provide any comment or explanation for these claims. All he would say is that the manuscript produced by his employer “is under review by a journal.”

“I can’t comment on your questions now,” he told The Epoch Times in an email. “I can, however, answer your question[s] when it is accepted.”

The paper was published ahead of peer review completion in medRxiv, a pre-print server that captures pre-print studies such as this one preview and evaluation.

Similar research out of Sweden also confirmed that covid injections, not just from Moderna but also from the other companies involved in Operation Warp Speed, do, in fact, give people vaccine-induced AIDS (VAIDS), which is basically what this all is.

“Somewhat implausibly, we even observed a negative VE against Omicron infection from week 14, indicating that vaccinated individuals experienced a higher risk of infection than those unvaccinated,” those researchers wrote in their pre-print paper.

“This may relate to harvesting bias in this analysis of the first event of a common outcome (as infection with Omicron is getting close to ubiquitous in many areas now). More unvaccinated individuals had already been infected, leaving a larger pool of vaccinated individuals susceptible to their first infection later by Omicron.”

“As a result, a higher risk among vaccinated individuals might be observed for a limited time period.”

We fully expect Moderna to use these revelations as justification for the release of more, and more, and more mRNA injections to cover up the tracks of the previous ones. Those who took the initial series of mRNA injections will likely have to continue getting injected for the rest of their lives, all for the mere chance of maybe not dying early.

As natural gas and electricity prices soar, many European households turn to firewood, a move to offset higher energy costs as the heating season begins. Rising demand for firewood is sending much of Europe back to the ‘medieval’ days of using stoves and fireplaces to heat homes.

The sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline system underneath the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany sparked even more energy uncertainty among Germans as many brace for what could be the coldest and possibly even the darkest winter in a generation due to rising risks of power blackouts.

On Friday, European Union leaders failed to agree on a price cap for NatGas as the energy crisis might worsen this winter as freezing weather could quickly draw down supplies from storage facilities and catapult prices even higher.

About 70% of Europeans use NatGas to heat their homes, and according to Bloomberg, some 40 million people are now burning wood to heat their homes. New demand for a heat source that’s been around for ages has doubled the price of wood pellets per ton to 600 euros in France.

Bloomberg pointed out Europeans are “panic buying the world’s most basic fuel.” Demand is so high that Hungary banned exports of wood pellets, and Romania capped firewood prices through spring.

“It’s back to the old days when people wouldn’t have the whole house heated,” said Nic Snell, managing director at British wholesale firewood retailer Certainly Wood. He added firewood is in high demand. 

The boom for firewood has also meant stove demand is high. Gabriel Kakelugnar AB, a manufacturer of high-end tiled stoves, said orders had surged more than fourfold, and customers have to wait until March for delivery.

Firewood has become a scarce commodity this heating season, forcing some households to burn anything they can find:

“We are worried that people will just burn what they can get their hands on,” Roger Sedin, head of the air quality unit at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, said. 

In fact, this is true, Polish households have started to burn trash and coal as firewood supplies dwindle.

The UK has finally come around to informing its citizens about power blackout risks. The country’s grid operator warned about the “significant risk” of NatGas shortage that could trigger three-hour power cuts this winter.

Well before the heating season, we detailed in length about soaring demand for firewood. We noted in August that “Google Searches For “Firewood” In Germany Have Exploded” and even in July cited Deutsche Bank senior economist Eric Heymann who indicated a “substitution for gas” would be firewood.

Europeans have to ask if soaring electricity bills and a cost-of-living crisis are worth supporting NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine via sanctions against Russia. People in Prague are already tired of Western sanctions that have devastated their economy and financial well-being.

We have been warned over and over again about what will happen if we stay on the path that we are currently on.  So why aren’t the American people demanding a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine?  If the American people truly understood what was at stake, we would be seeing absolutely massive protests in all of our major cities right now.  Once a nuclear war starts, there will be no turning back.  Our nation will be destroyed, and hundreds of millions of people will die.  A lot of you out there have big plans for the future, but there will be no future for America if nuclear missiles start flying.

During a campaign rally held in Minden, Nevada on Saturday, Donald Trump delivered the most ominous warning that he has ever issued.

Trump believes that if a peaceful end to the conflict in Ukraine cannot be found soon, “we will end up in World War III and there will be nothing left of our planet”…

“We must demand the immediate negotiation of a peaceful end to the war in Ukraine, or we will end up in World War III and there will be nothing left of our planet all because stupid people didn’t have a clue, they didn’t have a clue,” Trump said. “They don’t understand, they really don’t understand.”

Trump was in the White House for four years.

So he knows what is at stake.

And he can also see that the current group that is running our foreign policy is really stupid.

I really wish that more Americans could understand this.

Joe Biden is a hothead in an advanced state of mental decline, and he has surrounded himself with an all-star team of warmongers such as Jake Sullivan, Antony Blinken and Victoria Nuland.

If they keep doing what they are doing, they are going to get us nuked.

Instead of looking for a peaceful way out of this mess, both sides just continue to escalate matters.  We just witnessed an absolutely stunning attack on the 12 mile bridge that connects Crimea and Russia.  That bridge was a pet project of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and he personally opened it in 2018.

Needless to say, he is extremely angry about what has just happened, and he is calling it a “terror attack”…

A red-faced Vladimir Putin has branded the attack on a bridge in Crimea a ‘terror attack’ and blamed Ukrainian special forces for the explosion which severely damaged the key link to the Russian mainland.

Speaking ahead of a meeting with his Security Council tomorrow, the livid Russian president said the blast at the Kerch bridge was designed to destroy ‘critically important civilian infrastructure’.

He declared that the attack was a terrorist incident, a move that could open the door for further escalation in the war that has raged in Ukraine since Russia’s illegal invasion in February.

When Putin meets with his Security Council, they will inevitably decide to hit back really hard.

One very prominent pro-Putin voice named Vladimir Solovyov is suggesting that Russia should strike back by going after critical Ukrainian infrastructure…

“Ukraine should be plunged into dark times. Bridges, dams, railways, thermal power plants and other infrastructure facilities should be destroyed throughout Ukraine.”

Personally, I think that is a very real possibility.

Up to this point, Putin has tried very hard to “play nice” and has not taken out the Ukrainian power grid.

But it would be really easy for the Russians to do that, and it would come just before the severely cold weather in Ukraine begins.

There are others that have suggested that Putin should use tactical nuclear weapons against Ukraine, but I don’t think that will happen yet.

Because if it does happen, that could easily lead to a full-blown nuclear war.

This is something that even Joe Biden realizes…

“First time since the Cuban missile crisis, we have a direct threat of the use (of a) nuclear weapon if in fact things continue down the path they are going,” Biden warned during remarks at a Democratic fundraiser in New York on Friday.

He added: “I don’t think there’s any such thing as the ability to easily (use) a tactical nuclear weapon and not end up with Armageddon.”

Biden understands that we are getting dangerously close to a nuclear conflict.

So why won’t he pull us back from the brink while there is still time?

The Ukrainians would not have attacked the bridge connecting Crimea with Russia unless we had given them approval to do so.

In fact, it is likely that CIA personnel actually cooked up that operation.  It is being reported that there is now “a much larger presence of both CIA and U.S. special operations personnel and resources in Ukraine” than there was at the beginning of the war…

Yet clandestine American operations inside Ukraine are now far more extensive than they were early in the war, when U.S. intelligence officials were fearful that Russia would steamroll over the Ukrainian army. There is a much larger presence of both CIA and U.S. special operations personnel and resources in Ukraine than there were at the time of the Russian invasion in February, several current and former intelligence officials told The Intercept.

Secret U.S. operations inside Ukraine are being conducted under a presidential covert action finding, current and former officials said. The finding indicates that the president has quietly notified certain congressional leaders about the administration’s decision to conduct a broad program of clandestine operations inside the country. One former special forces officer said that Biden amended a preexisting finding, originally approved during the Obama administration, that was designed to counter malign foreign influence activities. A former CIA officer told The Intercept that Biden’s use of the preexisting finding has frustrated some intelligence officials, who believe that U.S. involvement in the Ukraine conflict differs so much from the spirit of the finding that it should merit a new one. A CIA spokesperson declined to comment about whether there is a presidential covert action finding for operations in Ukraine.

From what I am hearing, the U.S. intelligence community is very much involved in running the show over there at this point.

But most Americans don’t even know that we have personnel on the ground in Ukraine.

Most of our fellow citizens just assume that this war is a conflict between the Russians and the Ukrainians.

I wish that was true.

Unfortunately, this proxy war between the United States and Russia has gone to a whole new level.

First, the Nord Stream pipeline system was deliberately sabotaged and now the bridge connecting Crimea and Russia has been bombed.

More escalations are inevitably coming.

Is the red horse of war getting ready to ride?

I really hope that those that hear Donald Trump’s warning will take it to heart.

This is not a game.

If a nuclear war happens, it will be the end of our country.

So let us pray for peace, because the alternative is absolutely unthinkable.

Our politicians in Washington are literally destroying our future.  But do you see anyone out in the streets protesting their calamitous policies?  By now, you have probably heard that the U.S. national debt has hit 31 trillion dollars.  To be more precise, as I write this article the U.S. national debt is currently sitting at $31,142,591,307,260.01.  It is the largest single debt in the history of the world, and given enough time it would completely destroy our economy all by itself.  Unfortunately, hardly anyone in Washington seems to care about our rapidly exploding debt at this point.

In the old days, the Republicans would at least put on a show for us.  They would huff and puff about the national debt but then give the Democrats virtually all of the spending that they wanted anyway.

But now they have figured out that such a charade is no longer necessary, because most of their constituents just don’t care.

So most of our politicians no longer even pretend to care about fiscal responsibility.  In recent years they have been on the biggest borrowing and spending binge in our entire history, and there are no indications that they ever plan to stop.

They borrow and spend trillions upon trillions of dollars, and they expect you, your children, and your grandchildren to pay it back.

Of course that will never happen.

We are never going to pay back the 31.1 trillion dollars that we have borrowed.

Instead, we are just going to push the accelerator all the way to the floor until we finally go off a cliff.

During the month of August alone, the U.S. government ran a $219.6 billion budget deficit…

Some things never change — such as the federal government spending more money than it has month after month after month.

August was no different. The US government ran a massive $219.6 billion budget deficit last month, according to the latest Monthly Treasury Statement. That nudged out July as the second-largest monthly deficit in fiscal 2022.

Sadly, I didn’t hear of anyone in Washington giving a major speech when that happened, because the national debt is not even considered to be an important national issue today.

But our entire standard of living depends on the value of the U.S. dollar.  Having the default reserve currency of the world has been such a massive advantage for the United States, and now we are frittering it away.

The rest of the world can see what we are doing.

We are transforming our currency into toilet paper, and it is just a matter of time before it completely collapses.

Today, our politicians are stealing more than 200 million dollars from future generations of Americans every single hour of every single day.

Just think about that.

The old geezers in Washington know that they are near the end of the road.

So they know that they will never have to pay any of this money back.

But they get to spend it on whatever they want.

Of course it was inevitable that all of this borrowing and spending would eventually create rampant inflation, and now we are facing the worst inflation crisis in our history.

Yes, even worse than the Jimmy Carter era of the 1970s.

The Federal Reserve is rapidly hiking interest rates in a desperate attempt to get inflation under control, but that is causing all sorts of problems.

For one thing, the interest payments on our national debt will soon exceed a trillion dollars a year…

According to the Congressional Budget Office, this is exactly what will happen. It projects interest payments will triple from nearly $400 billion in fiscal 2022 to $1.2 trillion in 2032. And it’s worse than that. The CBO made this estimate in May. Interest rates are already higher than those used in its analysis.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that the current system will survive until 2032.

Previous generations handed us the keys to the reserve currency of the world and the greatest economic machine that the planet had ever witnessed.

Sadly, we took those precious gifts and completely destroyed them.

As a society, we have lost all regard for long-term consequences.

Let me give you another example.  Joe Biden just announced that he will be releasing more oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve…

“At the president’s direction, the Department of Energy will deliver another 10 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to the market next month as part of the historic 180-million-barrel release the President ordered back in March. And the President will continue to direct SPR releases as necessary,” she said.

What an incredibly foolish thing to do.

It is only supposed to be used in the event of a national emergency, and what Biden has decided to do is absolutely unprecedented.

The fact that things are not looking good for his party in November is not an “emergency”, and Senator Tom Cotton is not amused…

Whoa, say critics, including Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.).

“Well, it’s called the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. It’s not the political petroleum reserve,” Cotton told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham Wednesday night.

We are going to need that oil someday.

But thanks to Biden, most of it will already be gone.

If we found ourselves in the middle of a major war, the worldwide flow of energy supplies would suddenly be greatly restricted.  That is the sort of emergency scenario that the Strategic Petroleum Reserve was designed for.

Sadly, thanks to the warmongers in the Biden administration we may soon find ourselves fighting wars with Russia, China, North Korea and Iran simultaneously.

Most Americans have no idea what is going on behind the scenes.  Things with North Korea are getting really, really tense, and a major war in the Middle East could erupt at any time.

World War 3 has already started, but thankfully we haven’t gotten to the part where billions of people die just yet.

Unfortunately, our current crop of leaders couldn’t care less about the long-term future of humanity.

So they continue to pursue policies that are incredibly self-destructive, and we are all going to pay a very great price for their foolishness.

Retired US Army colonel Douglas Macgregor who was a Pentagon advisor claimed that the United States is most likely the state actor that sabotaged the Nord Stream pipelines. In doing so, the U.S. has isolated Germany and made certain they have a cold and dark winter.

Macgregor added that Britain probably also played a role and that the attack was carried out to prevent Germany from bailing on the war in Ukraine. During an appearance on the Judging Freedom podcast. Macgregor said a process of elimination rules out Germany, because they are dependent on Nord Stream for their energy security, while it also served no benefit for Russia to have sabotaged its own infrastructure.

Germany appeared to be ready to abandon the proxy war and remove sanctions on Russia so it could actually provide natural gas to its slaves this coming winter.

“I’m hesitant to say ‘we know it must have been Washington’. I can’t say that because we just don’t know. But it’s very clear that we have foreclosed Berlin’s options. Berlin was drifting away from this alliance. [Chancellor] Olaf Scholz said ‘I’m not sending any more equipment, I won’t send any tanks’. Now he’s in a bind because the United States has simply robbed him of the option of bailing out. Who’s going to supply him gas and oil and coal and everything else if he bails out? Where does he turn now? And remember, the Germans, who are facing terrible consequences at home refuse to restart nuclear power plants,” the former official said.

“Would the Russians destroy their own pipeline? 40 percent of Russian gross national product or gross domestic product consists of foreign currency that comes into the country to purchase natural gas, oil, coal, and so forth. So the Russians did not do this. The notion that they did I think is absurd,” Macgregor said.

Referring to Polish MEP Radoslaw Sikorski’s infamous deleted tweet in which he wrote, “Thank you, USA,” Macgregor noted, “Who else might be involved? Well the Poles apparently seem to be very enthusiastic about it.” -ZeroHedge

Macgregor adds that when you look at how these pipelines were destroyed, it would need to be accomplished by a state with a military arsenal capable of taking them out. Citing reports that more than 500 kg of TNT had been detected in both explosions, the former Pentagon advisor suggested only the United States and British Royal Navy had the capability to pull off the attack.

“Then you have to look at who are the state actors that have the capability to do this. And that means the Royal Navy, the United States Navy Special Operations,” said Macgregor. “I think that’s pretty clear. We know that thousands of pounds of TNT were used because these pipelines are enormously robust. You have several inches of concrete around various metal alloys to move the natural gas. So it’s not something that you could simply drop a grenade down at the end of a fish line and disrupt. That means it takes a certain amount of sophistication,” he added.

The CIA warned Germany of potential attacks on gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea weeks before Nord Stream 1 and 2 were targeted. Both Joe Biden and Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland asserted that Nord Stream 2 wouldn’t be allowed to operate if Russia attacked Ukraine.
