In this article I am going to write about something that the vast majority of the U.S. population couldn’t care less about. Sadly, most Americans simply do not care about Ukraine, Russia’s military preparations for war, or pretty much anything else that is happening on the other side of the globe. But over in Russia, things are completely different. There is constant talk about the potential for war with the west, and there is a lot of pessimism that it will be able to be avoided.
To the Russians, this really is the biggest crisis with the west since the Cuban missile crisis of the 1960s. The Russians have repeatedly warned that western missiles must not be stationed in Ukraine, and they have repeatedly warned that Ukraine must not become a member of NATO.
They are using the same rationale that we used during the Cuban missile crisis. We didn’t want the Russians to have missiles in Cuba that could potentially hit our major cities within just a matter of a few minutes, and likewise the Russians don’t want missiles in Ukraine that could potentially hit their major cities within just a matter of a few minutes.
The only way that Vladimir Putin will ever authorize an invasion of Ukraine is if one of his strategic “red lines” is crossed.
But instead of easing tensions and trying to talk things out, western leaders just keep provoking Russia.
If they keep on recklessly poking the bear, at some point a mistake will be made and we will have a war that nobody wants. The following are 7 signs that war with Russia just got even closer…

Belarusian banks are preparing for tougher Western sanctions by signing up to Russia’s alternative to the SWIFT, the international financial messaging network that underpins the global banking system, Russia’s Moskovsky Komsomolets tabloid has reported.
Russia’s System for Transfer of Financial Messages (SPFS) has more than 400 domestic users — practically every licensed Russian lender — but is used by only 38 banks from nine other countries. Developed in 2014, SPFS is designed to keep banking transactions in the event of Western sanctions disconnecting Russia from SWIFT.

On top of that – as if all that were not incendiary enough – the US Senators want to designate Russia a “terrorist state” if its “forces further invade Ukraine”. Such a designation of a nuclear superpower is unprecedented. It is an insane move that would make diplomacy and negotiation all but impossible. It’s tantamount to declaring war.
We should want to try to find a way to have peace with Russia, but we just keep on moving closer to war.
And when war eventually comes, it may be global.
Most Americans don’t realize this, but Russia and China just announced a brand new “security alliance”…
On Wednesday it was announced that Russia and China had agreed to terms on a security alliance.
President Xi said regarding the deal: “At present, certain international forces under the guise of ‘democracy’ and ‘human rights’ are interfering in the internal affairs of China and Russia and brutally trampling on international law and recognised norms of international relations.”
So could the U.S. find itself fighting both Russia and China at the same time someday?
Yes, that is entirely possible.
Meanwhile, European powers are warning that talks to revive the Iranian nuclear deal “are rapidly reaching the end of the road”…
A joint statement from Britain, France and Germany issued on Tuesday said “we are rapidly reaching the end of the road” to save the 2015 Iran nuclear deal after the Iranian side accused the West of stoking a “blame game” atmosphere.
“Iran’s continued nuclear escalation means that we are rapidly reaching the end of the road,” France’s ambassador to the United Nations, Nicolas de Riviere, announced. He added that Iran’s consistently blowing past development and uranium enrichment limits all while blaming the US for pulling out of the deal means “We are nearing the point where Iran’s escalation of its nuclear program will have completely hollowed out the JCPOA.”
The Israelis have already been practicing for an attack on Iran, and if peace talks collapse it will make a conflict between Israel and Iran inevitable.
Of course a new war in the Middle East would give the Biden administration a way to distract us from our growing internal troubles. At this point, only 26 percent of Americans believe that the country is headed in the right direction…
A new Economist/YouGov Poll shows almost 75% of Americans are either unsure or believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. Only 26% think things are going well.
Worse, just 4% believe the economy is “excellent.”
Personally, I do not believe that we will see a major war erupt before the end of 2021.
But a new year is just weeks away, and I have such a bad feeling about 2022.
Over the past couple of years we have been hit with one thing after another, and “the perfect storm” that is now upon us threatens to go to an entirely new level next year.

In a desperate attempt to keep a hold of power, American journalists are being threatened by their rulers for contributing to “banned” websites. Writer Daniel Lazare said he is concerned his country’s reputation as a defender of press freedom might be over.
Might be over? It was over when Assange was tossed in jail for the “crime” of exposing the government for what it truly is. The U.S. is far from the “land of the free” the ruling class tells the slaves that it is, and most of us know it.

Lazare and other US journalists who’ve written for the Strategic Culture Foundation, a website that describes itself as a “research platform on Eurasian global affairs,” recently received threatening letters from the Treasury Department warning they could be on the hook for at least $300,000 in sanctions penalties, he told RT on Sunday. –RT
“It’s impossible to battle the US Treasury in this kind of case,” Lazare said, pointing out that the Treasury’s power was “enormous,” while “that of an individual freelance journalist is microscopic.” Citing the “chilling effect” of merely receiving such a document, he pointed out that few journalists would even acknowledge being thus targeted, never mind coming forward to do an interview about it, as he had. “They’re unwilling to write, and they’re unwilling to talk about why they’re too afraid to write,” Lazare said.
The masters have been coming for those who continue to expose them as such. Sadly, we are likely to see more of this before enough people get tired of their slavery. It’ll get worse before it gets better. “To stop journalists from writing for these kinds of websites is a new step,” he said. “I was surprised, because the United States, in fact, has a very good track record when it comes to a free press. In America, we can say anything we want,” he continued, noting that he could mock current and former presidents “and not have to worry about the secret police crashing through my door.”
Except, we can’t say what we want. Not online anyway. And we can’t freely express ideas unless they agree with the official narrative of the U.S. government. Why some people still think they are “free” and elections matter is beyond comprehension at this point.
The good news is that this shows how desperate the ruling class has become to hold onto power. They know people are figuring out government is slavery and they know that once a critical mass has been reached, they will no longer be able to control us. Everything that is being done right now is all out of some desperate attempt to keep control of those last few who still refuse to see the truth.

To those who are paying attention, the demonization and discrimination against the unvaccinated is eerily similar to extremely dark times throughout human history. These historical events are riddled with the suffering and death of millions of innocent people all because the media and government dehumanized a group of people and convinced the majority that they need to rid themselves of the “unclean.”
Unscientific vaccine mandates are laying waste to human rights across the planet. Lacking all logic and reason, even if you’ve had covid-19 and have superior immunity over someone who only took the jab, you are denied entry into public places and treated like a second-class citizen.
In Australia and Austria, the unvaccinated are fined and even arrested if they attempt to go out in public. Mainstream news outlets across the world continue to shame the unvaccinated, stoking fear and hatred against them over their personal medical choices.
President Biden even took to demonizing the unvaccinated, blaming them for the economic downturn, supply chain debacle, and claimed — without merit — that they are “costing jobs.”
Now, the state of Illinois is taking the segregation and discrimination against the unvaccinated one step further by attempting to strip them of their health insurance if they get sick from covid-19 — forcing them to pay for their medical treatment out of pocket.
“I think it’s time that we say: ‘You choose not to get vaccinated, then you’re also going to assume the risk that if you do catch COVID, and you get sick, the responsibility is on you,’” State Representative Jonathan Carroll told the Chicago Sun-Times this week.
The tyrant representative then went on to claim that many have frustrations between those who have “been following the science and … trying to do the right thing” and those who are “choosing not to get vaccinated, who are able to, for whatever they choose.”
Apparently, Carroll hasn’t been reading the latest headlines which show hospitalizations are spiking — among the fully vaccinated. In fact, the states with the highest vaccination rates are currently seeing the highest hospitalization rates.
In Vermont, which has the highest vaccination rate of any state in the country, new daily cases spiked sharply, far higher than southern states with lower jab rates. More than 72 percent of Vermonters have been fully vaccinated, compared with 59 percent nationally.
In neighboring New Hampshire, new daily cases shot up 84 percent in November (compared with a 7 percent jump over the same period nationwide), despite 63 percent of its population being fully inoculated.
In New Mexico, new daily cases are up 46 percent in the same period, even though 63 percent of its residents are fully vaccinated.
New York, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and California are all seeing similar spikes despite over 60 percent of their populations being vaccinated.
But to tyrants like Carroll, these numbers don’t matter. Carroll and other tyrants who lust for the power to force you to undergo a medical procedure against your will, see the world through blinders and ignore actual science while claiming to “follow the science.”
Nevertheless, the bill seeks to strip citizens of their health insurance coverage if they are unvaccinated and contract covid and force them to pay out of pocket if they are hospitalized.
“We’ve tried everything we can do to educate the public on the vaccine,” Carroll said. “Again, the vaccine is working, and people are, for whatever reason, choosing not to get it. Now it’s to a point where … it shouldn’t be the responsibility of those of us that are.”
TFTP emailed Carroll to ask him how he felt about over-eaters, smokers, heavy drinkers, and sedentary folks putting a strain on the health care system and if he feels their life choices — which account for most deaths in the United States every year — should force them to pay out of pocket too.
Obviously, we don’t think anyone should be denied coverage, but by Carroll’s logic, he should. But that’s probably why we haven’t heard back from him.
