We just received some very serious news.  The extremely deadly D1.1 strain of the H5N1 bird flu which has been ripping through the nation’s poultry population in recent weeks has now gotten into the cattle population in the state of Nevada.  This is the very first time that cattle in the U.S. have ever tested positive for this strain.  What this means is that we are facing a very serious threat to our food supply.  As I detailed earlier this week, the U.S. is dealing with the worst egg shortage that it has ever experienced, and it is likely to get even worse as this new strain spreads.  Meanwhile, the size of the U.S. cattle herd could be reduced even further by this new strain, and it is already at the lowest level that we have seen since 1961…

As of January, the total number of cattle and calves was 86.7 million, down by 1% from last year, reported Market Intel. The beef herd has shrunk 40% since 1975 to the smallest size since 1961.

Beef cows that have calved hit a record low at 27.9 million, revealed the U.S. Department of Agriculture, while replacement heifers also decreased, indicating continued contraction in the cattle cycle.

In 1961, 182 million people were living in the United States.

Today, 334 million people live in the United States.

So now we have the same amount of beef that we did in 1961, but we have nearly twice as many people to feed.

Needless to say, the price of beef is going to go higher as supplies of beef just keep getting tighter and tighter.

I don’t know why the mainstream media is not making a bigger deal about this.  I know that they are absolutely fixated on the drama that is unfolding in Washington D.C. right now, but this new strain of the H5N1 bird flu is an extremely huge story…

Six dairy herds in Nevada have tested positive for a newer variant of the H5N1 bird flu virus that’s been associated with severe infections in humans, according to the Nevada Department of Agriculture.

Scientists say these infections with a different type of virus mark an inflection point in the nation’s efforts to contain the virus: It may be here to stay.

The strain is not the same one that has been circulating in other dairy herds throughout the United States, a virus called B3.13. The newer version, D1.1, has previously been detected only in birds and in people who had contact with infected birds.

This is the very first time that D1.1 has been detected in any of our dairy herds.

Up until just recently, the milder B3.13 strain of H5N1 was the dominant strain in birds all over the nation.

But over the past few months there has been a dramatic change.  The D1.1 strain has become dominant, and it has been ripping through bird populations from coast to coast…

That bird flu strain, called D1.1 by scientists, was also linked to a fatal human case in Louisiana last year after exposure to sick birds. The D1.1 strain has emerged in recent months to dominate infections in wild birds and poultry flocks across North America.

Since the pandemic began in early 2022, “around 957 dairy herds and more than 153 million poultry have been affected” by the bird flu…

According to the CDC, around 957 dairy herds and more than 153 million poultry have been affected by types of bird flu in the United States.

The devastation that this pandemic has caused has been immense, but nearly all of the carnage that we have witnessed so far has been caused by the relatively mild B3.13 strain.

Now the D1.1 strain is spreading like wildfire, and this has pushed egg prices to dizzying heights…

Egg prices continue to move higher due to limited inventory due to an avian flu outbreak.

The volume of trailer load loose egg sales decreased 16% at the end of January.

Prices for white large shell eggs hit $8.97 per dozen.

Delivered prices on the California-compliant wholesale loose egg market increased $0.37 to $8.72 per dozen in the last week of January, according to the Department of Agriculture.

Of course there are many supermarkets where the shelves are completely empty and there are no eggs to be purchased at any price.

Unsurprisingly, eggs have now become a target for thieves because they have become so valuable.

In fact, someone just stole 100,000 eggs from a trailer in Pennsylvania, and police have still not been able to determine who did it…

Four days after the theft that law enforcement say could be tied to the sky-high cost of eggs, no leads have come in, Trooper First Class Megan Frazer, a spokesperson for the Pennsylvania State Police, said Wednesday.

There is something else that I would like for you to consider.

What is going to happen if the new D1.1 strain of the bird flu starts spreading widely among humans?

Already, it has killed a 65-year-old victim in Louisiana, and it almost killed a 13-year-old girl in Canada…

In November, an otherwise healthy 13-year-old girl from British Columbia, Canada, was infected with D1.1 bird flu from an unknown source.

She had not been exposed to any birds or cattle, and her only risk factor was obesity.

She went into respiratory failure and had to be placed on life support, though she eventually recovered.

And a 65-year-old patient in Louisiana died last month after being hospitalized with severe respiratory symptoms from D1.1.

The B3.13 strain only caused mild illness in humans.

But the D1.1 strain is a killer.

One expert is warning that if this strain “were to mutate and gain the ability to efficiently spread from person to person”, we could be facing a new “global pandemic”…

Professor Bobbi Pritt of the Mayo Clinic issued similar warnings to the Daily Express US last month.

“If the virus were to mutate and gain the ability to efficiently spread from person to person, then this could result in a large outbreak or even a global pandemic,” she said.

I realize that this is not welcome news for many of you.

But the truth is that we were warned that pestilences would be one of the major themes of this period.

It has been less than a month since President Trump was inaugurated, and now it appears that he will have a major health scare to contend with.

My advice is to be prepared to deal with another unprecedented global health panic, because this crisis could spiral out of control at any time.

How much power would you have if you had a giant money machine that showered your political allies and political causes that you favor with tens of billions of dollars every year?  The corruption that is being uncovered at USAID is truly historic.  USAID has a budget that is larger than the CIA and the State Department combined, and much of that money was funding a vast network of liberal activists and liberal causes all over the globe.  When Laura Ingraham of Fox News asked U.S. Senator Josh Hawley about this, Hawley explained that Democrats “are just losing their minds” because “liberal supply chains” are being cut off…

“They’re panicking big time, Laura, because their power base is being threatened,” Hawley replied. “That’s what’s really going on here. I mean, look at what they’re doing over USAID. This is because they’ve used that as their personal plaything, and that includes billions and billions of taxpayer dollars that have gone, yes, to fund outrageous stuff overseas, like trans-affirming projects in Zimbabwe or whatever. But also, let’s not forget to fund their preferred media outlets like Politico and who knows what other Left-wing rags have been getting money. Federal government money from this agency, and there’s been no accountability.”

“So yes — what’s happening is Trump is exposing all of this. He is cutting off the liberal supply chains, as it were, and the liberals are just losing their minds. They’re totally losing their minds. We need more of it. You mentioned the IRS. I love it. I love Trump’s idea to get rid of the Internal Revenue Service. Let’s make it the External Revenue Service. Let’s start making these agencies work for the American people.

Leftists have been in charge at USAID for a very long time, and they just kept hiring other leftists underneath them.  Ultimately, it became one enormous tangled web of left-wing activists that were overtly advancing the interests of the Democratic Party.

One of the primary ways that USAID was doing this was by funding thousands of “non-governmental organizations”.

According to the State Department, there are approximately 1.5 million “non-governmental organizations” in the U.S. today…

Approximately 1.5 million NGOs operate in the United States. These NGOs undertake a wide array of activities, including political advocacy on issues such as foreign policy, elections, the environment, healthcare, women’s rights, economic development, and many other issues.

“Non-governmental organizations” are not supposed to make a profit.  But those that run them, those that sit on their boards, and those that are employed by them often make exceedingly large salaries.

This is one of the ways that Democratic operatives and campaign donors are rewarded.  They are often given cushy high-paid jobs with NGOs that are funded lavishly by our tax dollars.  In turn, those operatives and donors keep giving big money to Democratic candidates because they want to keep the gravy train rolling.

It is being reported that the majority of all USAID programs were being implemented by NGOs…

Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) implement the majority (52%) of USAID programs, while public international organizations administer 34%, the U.S. government is responsible for about 10% and foreign governments implement about 4%, according to a CRS study of USAID non-military funding between fiscal years 2013-2022.

But when you try to track down many of these NGOs, you literally cannot find them.

In fact, Natalie Winters says that if you look up the addresses of some of these NGOs on Google, “you’ll find shacks or empty land”…

The secrecy of the USAID grant database is by design.

Look up the addresses of entities receiving millions of dollars on Google maps and you’ll find shacks or empty land.

It’s pure money laundering.

There are some NGOs that do legitimate work, while there are others that apparently either do next to nothing or nothing at all.

It is one of the greatest scams out there.

But you have to be deeply connected in order to take advantage of it.

We are also learning that USAID was financially supporting “more than six thousand journalists, around seven hundred independent newsrooms, and nearly three hundred media-focused civil society groups in thirty or so countries”…

Already, though, the new administration’s approach to USAID has had sharp consequences all over the world—after taking office, Trump signed an order freezing virtually all American aid spending for ninety days, grinding dependent humanitarian operations to an immediate halt across a dizzying array of different project areas. Journalists have been among those affected: according to Reporters Without Borders (RSF), the aid freeze appears to have put a hold on $268 million that was earmarked to fund “independent media and the free flow of information” this year. In the recent past, USAID had boasted of supporting more than six thousand journalists, around seven hundred independent newsrooms, and nearly three hundred media-focused civil society groups in thirty or so countries—and yet, RSF notes, the full impact of the freeze is hard to measure, since many recipients are “hesitant to draw attention for fear of risking long-term funding or coming under political attacks.”

This is why so many “news outlets” all over the world sound the same.

It is because they were all being funded by the same source.

The level of corruption that is being revealed is absolutely staggering.

When members of the DOGE team first arrived at USAID, workers started freaking out and tried to hide evidence that might be “incriminating”…

Contractor Kristina Drye, who is employed at USAID described to ABC News a scene reminiscent of the kind of mad scramble historically witnessed when a corrupt government has fallen and officials are desperately trying to get rid of evidence of wrongdoing.

Drye described USAID employees taking down pride flags and removing books that she felt might be “incriminating” as well as how “no one was talking” as DOGE team members began their review of the operations of the agency that sends billions of taxpayer dollars abroad for a variety of reasons ranging from disaster relief to funding regime change.

Thankfully, the giant money laundering operation at USAID has now been shut down.

And Democrats are absolutely furious about this.

Their multi-billion dollar money machine is gone, and they aren’t going to be able to replace it any time soon.

I honestly did not think that Trump and Musk were going to be able to accomplish so much in such a short period of time.

Look at what they just did to USAID.  It has been operating without any sort of real accountability for decades, but it took Musk just a single weekend to feed it “into the wood chipper”…

We spent the weekend feeding USAID into the wood chipper.

Could gone to some great parties.

Did that instead.

USAID’s reign of terror is finally over.

What is left of it is going to be absorbed into the State Department under the firm hand of Secretary of State Marco Rubio…

“Well, that was always the goal was to reform it, but now we have rank insubordination,” Rubio told Fox News, in comments just one day after President Trump announced that Rubio would serve as the acting head of USAID – which itself came after Elon Musk’s DOGE team descended upon the agency and revealed that “USAID is a ball of worms. There is no apple. And when there is no apple you just need to get rid of the whole thing. That’s why it’s got to go. It’s beyond repair.”

According to Rubio, “Now we have basically an active effort — their basic attitude is, ‘We don’t work for anyone, we work for ourselves, no agency of government can tell us what to do.”

“So the president made me the acting administrator,” he added. “I’ve delegated that power to someone who is there full-time, and we’re going to go through the same process at USAID as we’re going through now at the State Department.”

It would be difficult for me to overstate how much of a disaster this is for the Democratic Party.

One source is calling it “worse than 9/11 for Democrats”…

Talked to a friend who has connections within the Democratic Party and he said the level of panic over Trump and Elon shutting down USAID is unlike anything he’s ever seen.

By following the money DOGE has struck a killing blow to the heart of the Democrat deep state machine.

Direct quote: “This is worse than 9/11 for Democrats. USAID is the primary vessel they use to achieve their political agenda. USAID is and always has been the primary source of funding for their influence peddling schemes and for their indirect sources of income”

This one federal agency was spending our tax dollars in some of the most bizarre ways imaginable.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt shared a few examples of USAID waste with the press…

Reading from the sheet, Leavitt went through it line by line.

She said: ‘$1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplaces, $70,000 for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland, $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia, $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru.’

Hammering home the point, Leavitt, 27, who has already become a star of Trump’s administration, said: ‘I don’t know about you, but as an American taxpayer I don’t want my dollars going toward this crap.

I’m sorry, but I do not want my tax dollars to be spent on comic books in Peru.

I am sure that you feel the same way.

We are 36 trillion dollars in debt.

We can’t afford this nonsense.

Following his dismantling of USAID, Elon Musk set his sights on the FBI.

On Tuesday, we learned that the FBI has “complied with demands to provide the Justice Department with details of thousands of employees who worked on investigations” related to the mass arrests on January 6th, 2021…

FBI officials have complied with demands to provide the Justice Department with details of thousands of employees who worked on investigations related to the January 6, 2021, US Capitol riot, according to people familiar with the situation.

The demand has caused consternation among FBI employees who fear it is meant to amass a list of personnel for possible termination by the Trump administration.

Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, in a Friday memo with the subject line “Terminations,” had given FBI officials a noon deadline Tuesday to submit the details of thousands of agents and analysts. Bove previously ordered the firing of eight senior FBI officials, including those who oversaw cyber, national security and criminal investigations.

According to CNN, DOGE officials were seen entering FBI headquarters “to collect the information”…

Officials working for Musk at DOGE were spotted by CNN entering FBI headquarters on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., to collect the information.

FBI agents filed a lawsuit Tuesday trying to block the release of their names or identifying details after Trump administration officials demanded documents about who worked on January 6-related cases.

The agents say their jobs could be terminated within days.

The FBI has never been hit with a crisis quite like this.

Some FBI officials have already left or have been fired, but others are pledging to dig in for a fight…

The top agent in the FBI’s New York field office, meanwhile, told his colleagues he’s digging a “foxhole” to protect them.

“Do NOT resign or offer to resign,” the FBI Agents Association told members in an email obtained by CNN. “While we would never advocate for physical non-compliance, you need to be clear your removal is not voluntary.”

Separately, lawyers for prosecutors and FBI agents called the possible dismissal of employees who worked on Trump-related investigations a “violation of the due process rights” and threatened legal action in a letter to senior DOJ officials Sunday night.

It shall be very interesting to see how this plays out.

After the FBI, Musk is hinting that the IRS could be his next target.

I would love to see Musk audit the Federal Reserve as well.

Hopefully he will add that to the list.

Amazingly, some of the key members of Musk’s DOGE team have not even reached the age of 25 yet…

At just 19, Edward Coristine is the youngest of the fresh-faced bunch taking on corporate America and longstanding government institutions.

According to WIRED, he’s been dubbed an ‘expert’ in his field, and specifics about his role aren’t yet clear.

Akash Bobba, 21, Ethan Shaotran, 22, and Luke Farritor, 23, along with Coristine, have reportedly been granted A-suite level clearance for their work, meaning they can work out of the agency’s top floor with access to all physical spaces and IT systems.

I love that!

If you are a young person, let me offer a little piece of advice.  If you want to do great things in life, start doing them early.

Sadly, if you wait too long to get started you may find that you simply do not have enough energy to do everything that you wanted to accomplish.

President Trump promised to “drain the swamp” during his first term, but now it is actually happening during his second term.

Most federal workers have been given a short window of opportunity to accept a “deferred resignation” which would result in them being placed on “administrative leave” beginning on March 1st…

The Trump administration has sent federal workers an updated sample contract with new terms for accepting a deferred resignation, the next move in an effort to reduce the size of the federal workforce by the end of the fiscal year in September.

Federal workers who accept the administration’s resignation offer ahead of a deadline this week would work through Feb. 28 and be placed on administrative leave starting March 1, according to a copy of a contract the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) sent to federal agencies Monday.

Workers taking the deferred resignation deal would receive pay and benefits through the end of the fiscal year Sept. 30, according to a sample contract viewed by Newsweek.

So far, over 20,000 federal employees have accepted this deal, but that number is expected to grow substantially by the time we reach the deadline…

More than 20,000 employees — about 1% of the federal workforce — have signed up for an offer to quit their jobs in exchange for a deferred resignation deal that would have taxpayers continue to pay their salaries through the end of September.

But those numbers are increasing every day, according to an official familiar with the data, and the Trump administration expects a spike in resignations as employees near Thursday’s deadline to accept the offer.

Most of the people that are leaving are probably not in alignment with the new administration’s goals.

So this will be a good thing for Trump and his team.

It is being reported that if enough federal workers do not take the offer of “deferred resignation”, we could potentially see mass layoffs…

Layoffs of federal workers would be “likely” if too few employees quit under the White House’s deferred resignation program, the Washington Post reported on Tuesday, citing a memo from a General Services Administration official.

The White House last week offered 2 million civilian full-time federal workers to remain on the payroll through Sept. 30 but without having to work under the resignation offer, which is set to expire on Thursday.

Of course it isn’t just federal workers that are going to be hitting the bricks.

During the months ahead, we are going to be seeing mass layoffs all over the nation.

This period of transition is going to be tough for the entire country.

But at this moment, it is quite appropriate to be excited about the revolution that is occurring in Washington.  I think that Chris Martenson summed things up quite well when he wrote this…

These are extraordinary times, and I mean that in every literal and historical sense I can muster.

Trump has started a revolution, it’s underway, and I am 100% here for it.

The short story is this is seismic. None of us have lived through what’s unfolding. Trump’s team is operating as if they are battling an internal foe that has taken over America and which seeks its destruction. If this is the case, then my view is they have correctly diagnosed the disease.

I very much agree.

But let me add a caveat.

No revolution will ultimately be successful unless America turns back to God.

We need to turn away from our evil ways and start doing what is right or else we will have no future.

So I greatly applaud efforts to make our federal government smaller and more efficient, but that is not enough.

There is only one way that we are truly going to turn things around, and we must not forget that.

You can build your own according to your risk profile and level of medical training.

They should include basic first aid supplies, such as Band-Aids and painkillers. But, the primary purpose is to treat severe trauma.

There are many pre-packed kits out there you can buy. But for those serious, building your own can be better based on your needs. Because you don’t want to make your pack any heavier than it needs to be.

Traditional medical emergency procedures focus on ABC (Airway, Breathing, Circulation).

In a survival or combat situation, the military uses the MARCH algorithm. This acronym lays out the necessary steps in priority for saving lives in combat.

• M-massive hemorrhage – Arterial blood is pumping out of a person
• A-airway – Any obstruction in the airway
• R-respiratory – An injury like a collapsed lung or sucking chest wound
• C-circulation – General bleeding from the body
• H-hypothermia – The body loses heat faster than it can make it

You should pack it for individual trauma emergencies and minor injuries. Here is a list of your must-have IFAK contents:

Compact Gauze

Gauze may be the most important thing you carry.

Compact gauze is a multi-use item essential to pack a large wound and stop bleeding. You can also wrap an injury and make a sling or splint.

It’s versatile and cheap, so have a few rolls in your kit.

Hemostatic Gauze

This gauze is more expensive but vital in stopping massive bleeds. It has a hemostatic agents in the material.

This material helps to stop bleeding faster, and you apply it directly to a cut artery.

Their primary function is direct contact with a massive hemorrhage.

Israeli Bandage

It works on hemorrhaging and provides compression bandage.

It combines a sterile dressing and an elastic bandage to keep constant pressure on a wound and also comes with a closure bar attached to secure it in place.

An Israeli Bandage works well for head or groin injuries too, and if you are alone, you can quickly put it on with one hand. These are another must-have in your kit list.

CAT Tourniquet

A tourniquet is a band that stops blood flow from an extremity wound.

Complications from using one can lead to tissue damage. But it can keep a person stable until you get them to a hospital.

Deep cuts, gunshot wounds, or crushed limbs are situations for a tourniquet. Take the time to learn how to use one properly.

Nasal Pharyngeal Airway

In some situations, you must supply an open airway to an injured person. Having an NPA is the best way to do so.

The tongue or airway muscles can block the throat in an unconscious person.

It’s easily inserted into the nostril to open up an airway and keep them alive.

Chest Seal

If you get a puncture in the chest that causes air to pour in, you need to close that up ASAP. Using a chest seal like the HALO Seal is a quick way to seal the hole.

Note: It sticks to skin, hair, blood, and sand. It’s also flexible and covers large, uneven areas around a wound.

Burn Gel and Dressing

Burns tend to occur from open flames or hot surfaces. So it’s essential to carry burn gel to ease pain and help jumpstart healing in the affected area ASAP.

You can also get a burn dressing with water gel in the material to apply right on the burn. From there, you can use gauze to cover the area.

Control Wraps

Along with tourniquets, a control wrap can help stop bleeding. But it can do so without cutting off direct circulation.

You can also use them as an outside dressing over the gauze and extra support for sprained knees and ankles.
