They Really Do Want Us To Be Weak Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, Financially And Spiritually So That We Will Become Dependent On Them

It takes strength to be free.  That is why they want us to be weak.  When we are weak, we are much more likely to become dependent upon the system to survive, and that makes us much easier to control.  So they give us junk to eat, they put poisons into our air and water, they “dumb us down” from a very early age, they feed us a steady stream of “programming” that makes us depressed and afraid, they get us hooked on legal and illegal drugs, and they constantly try to get us into as much debt as possible. Something that a rapper known as Zuby posted on Twitter sums this up perfectly…

He really nailed it.

We were created to be independent beings, but the elite are constantly attempting to make us as dependent as possible.

Here in the United States, we are supposed to be the most prosperous nation on the entire planet.

And yet most of us are living like servants.

When I was growing up, $80,000 sounded like an enormous mountain of money.  And it actually was a very significant amount of money in those days.  But in 2025 it just doesn’t go that far.  Today, the median household income in the U.S. is approximately $80,000 a year.  Approximately half of all U.S. households make more than that, and approximately half of all U.S. households make less than that.  So if your family earns $80,000 in 2025 that would put you about right in the middle.

So can a typical family of four survive on $80,000 in America today?

The answer might surprise you.

Over the past four years, the cost of living has been rising much faster than our paychecks have.

As a result, our standard of living has been steadily going down.

$80,000 breaks down to about $6,666 a month.  So how far will $6,666 a month stretch for a family of four in today’s economy?….

First of all, our hypothetical family of four needs a place to live.  As I discussed the other day, the household income required to purchase a typical home in the U.S. has more than tripled since January 2012.  At this point, the average mortgage payment in the U.S. is about $2,200.

So after paying the mortgage, we only have $4,466 left.

Next, our family of four has to pay for utilities for their home.  According to Google AI, the average U.S. household spends $600 a month on their utilities bills.

So now we only have $3,866 left.

Our family is also going to need phone and Internet service.  Cell phone bills for a family of four can balloon to ridiculous proportions, but let’s assume that our family of four is extremely budget conscious and has found a package where they can get basic phone service for 50 dollars a month and Internet service for 50 dollars a month.

Now we are down to $3,766.

In our hypothetical household, both parents are also going to need vehicles to get to work.  Let’s assume that both vehicles were purchased used, so the payments will only total about $600 a month.  If the vehicles were purchased new this number could potentially be much higher.

Suddenly we only have $3,166 remaining.

If our family has two vehicles that means that they will also be paying for automobile insurance.  Let’s assume that they both have exemplary driving records and so they are only spending about $100 a month.

Now our total is just $3,066.

Our hypothetical family of four is also going to need health insurance.  According to Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, a typical family of four will spend $1,437 a month on health insurance.

Ouch.

Now we only have $1,629 left.

Our hypothetical family is also going to have to eat.  Let’s assume that our family clips coupons and cuts corners any way that it can and only spends about $50 for each member of the family on food and toiletries each week.  That works out to a total of $800 a month for the entire family.

I know that number may seem way too low to many of you, but let’s go with it.

That brings our remaining cash down to just $829.

Needless to say, our hypothetical family will also need to buy gasoline to get to and from work each week.  Let’s assume that they don’t live too far from work and only need to fill up both vehicles about once per week.  That would give them a gasoline bill of about $50 a week or $200 a month.  Of course if either of them has a long commute to work or if a lot of extra driving is required for other reasons this expense could be far, far higher.

After everything that we have gone through so far, we actually have $629 left.

That is a reason to celebrate, right?

Wrong.

We haven’t taken federal, state and local taxes out of the paycheck yet.

Federal, state and local taxes will reduce your paycheck by about one-fourth.

So after taxes, we are now $1,371 in the hole.

Up to this point we have assumed that our family does not have any credit card debt or student loan debt at all.  If they do, those payments will have to be made as well.

In addition, the budget above includes no money for clothing, no money for dining out, no money for additional entertainment, no money for medications, no money for pets, no money for hobbies, no money for life insurance, no money for vacations, no money for vehicle repairs and maintenance, no money for child care, no money for birthday or holiday gifts, and no money for retirement.

On top of everything else, if our family of four has a catastrophic health expense that health insurance will not pay for, then our hypothetical family of four is suddenly facing a complete and utter financial catastrophe.

Are you starting to get the picture?

Most of us are just desperately trying to find a way to scrape by from month to month, and that is the way that the elite like it.

Do you feel like you are a hamster on a wheel that is never really getting anywhere?

Well, the truth is that what you are feeling is very real, because the entire system has been designed to keep us all trapped for as long as possible.

It is time to wake up, get strong, and realize what life is really all about.

You were not designed to be a cog in their machine.

If you don’t take control of your life, someone else will.

I promise you that.

If you don’t want to be a hamster on a wheel, stop listening to their lies and start living the way that you were designed to live.

We were meant to be free, but the elite will happily keep you enslaved if you allow them to do so.

11 Random Facts That Show That America Is Rotting And Decaying Right In Front Of Our Eyes

We are in far more trouble than most people realize.  Fentanyl and other drugs are ravaging our cities, and homelessness, poverty and hunger are rapidly growing all around us.  Meanwhile, our federal government, our state governments, and our local governments are drowning in debt, and economic conditions are steadily deteriorating.  Corruption is rampant, incompetence is seemingly everywhere, and the moral decay of our society is accelerating.  Unfortunately, much of the population is completely oblivious to what is going on because they are deeply addicted to the electronic gadgets that they are constantly staring at.  The following are 11 random facts that show that America is rotting right in front of our eyes…

#1 A new study has discovered that smartphones “are making teenagers more aggressive” and are causing them to “hallucinate”

Smartphones are making teenagers more aggressive, detached from reality and causing them to hallucinate, according to new research.

Scientists concluded the younger a person starts using a phone, the more likely they would be crippled by a whole host of psychological ills after surveying 10,500 teens between 13 and 17 from both the US and India for the study, by Sapien Labs.

“People don’t fully appreciate that hyper-real and hyper-immersive screen experiences can blur reality at key stages of development,” addiction psychologist Dr. Nicholas Kardaras, who was not part of the team who did the study, told The Post.

#2 According to Bloomberg, our cost of living crisis is driving more working Americans than ever to seek assistance from food banks

Once a month, Kersstin Eshak visits a food pantry in Loudoun County, Virginia to stretch her family’s budget.

Eshak’s husband works at a big box retailer. She works as a substitute teacher. They have income, but with prices up nearly 23% over the past five years — and still rising — their earnings just don’t stretch quite far enough some months.

Food banks across the nation are seeing a similar story: A post-pandemic wave of demand for food driven by working people caught in America’s cost-of-living crunch.

#3 The U.S. national debt was sitting at about 10 trillion dollars when Barack Obama first entered the White House.  Today, it is sitting at 36.2 trillion dollars.

#4 Criminals freely roam the streets, but a pastor in Ohio could face jail time for using his church to house the homeless…

The only problem is that while opening up his church — Dad’s Place in Bryan, Ohio — to the homeless, he’s also opened himself up to the reality of city code.

“Pastor Avell has known that this was not permitted use and that he does not have firewalls, he does not have sprinkler systems,” said Bryan Mayor Carrie Schlade. “The kind of things you need in a residential facility. “

#5 A cryptocurrency called “Fartcoin” that was created as a joke currently has a market capitalization of 847 million dollars.

#6 Fentanyl is absolutely destroying communities all over America.  For example, check out what has been happing in Las Cruces, New Mexico…

Las Cruces authorities say they first encountered fentanyl in 2018. In 2020, they confiscated a total of 461 pills.

In 2021, the first year of the Biden administration, fentanyl seizures exploded to more than 22,600 – and continued rising: roughly 70,000 pills were seized in 2022 and nearly 86,000 in 2023.

“It wasn’t in Las Cruces, and then it was, and then it was everywhere. In 2021, it really intensified and we’ve seen that the past few years. During that same period from 2018 to 2021, we saw a huge increase in crime: an 85% increase in violent crime and a 71% increase in property crime,” Las Cruces Chief of Police Jeremy Story stated last year during a virtual press conference on New Mexico’s fentanyl epidemic.

#7 In 2024, corporate bankruptcies in the United States reached the highest level “since the 2008 financial crisis”.

#8 We don’t hear much about cargo theft, but it reached a staggering 454 million dollars in 2024.  That was a brand new all-time record high

Cargo theft hit a record high in the U.S. and Canada for the second consecutive year, and the trend is expected to continue as criminal enterprises have become more sophisticated in their methods.

Verisk CargoNet’s annual analysis released this week found that cargo theft surged 27% from 2023 to 2024, hitting a record 3,625 reported incidents last year with an average value of $202,364 per theft. All told, the losses are estimated at more than $454 million.

#9 According to the New York Times, 15 percent of the “women” in our federal prisons are transgender.

#10 Most of the foods on our grocery store shelves are “highly processed”, and since “highly processed foods” are less expensive many U.S. consumers tend to gravitate to them…

Next time you walk down the aisles of your local grocery store, take a closer look at what’s actually available on those shelves. A stunning report reveals the majority of food products sold at major U.S. grocery chains are highly processed, with most of them priced significantly cheaper than less processed alternatives.

In what may be the most comprehensive analysis of food processing in American grocery stores to date, researchers examined over 50,000 food items sold at Walmart, Target, and Whole Foods to understand just how processed our food supply really is. Using sophisticated machine learning techniques, they developed a database called GroceryDB that scores foods based on their degree of processing.

#11 Homelessness in the U.S. is at the highest level ever recorded, and it is increasing at the fastest pace ever recorded.

We desperately need change in this country.

And you are never too young to be part of that change.  Just check out how old some of our founding fathers were in 1776…

James Monroe was 18 years old.

Aaron Burr was 20 years old.

John Marshall was 20 years old.

Alexander Hamilton was 21 years old.

James Madison was 25 years old

John Jay was 30 years old.

Thomas Jefferson was 33 years old.

If we truly want to make this country great again, we need to rediscover the values and principles that once made this country so great.

Our nation is in the condition that it is today because of the choices that we have made.

If we want to turn things around, we must start making better choices.  Anyone that does not understand this is just being delusional.

906 Earthquakes Hit California And Nevada As We Closely Watch Seismic Activity At Yellowstone, Mt. Rainier And The San Andreas Fault

Have you noticed that there has been a lot of seismic activity on the west coast recently?  According to the Southern California Earthquake Data Center at Caltech, there have been 906 earthquakes in California and Nevada just within the past 7 days.  Meanwhile, magma is on the move at Yellowstone, we are being warned that a gigantic volcano off the coast of Oregon could soon erupt, and houses in New England were just “shaking like crazy” after a very strange earthquake struck.  We have been witnessing unusual seismic activity all over the globe in recent months, and I fully expect this trend to intensify even more in the days ahead.

The good news is that the vast majority of the earthquakes that are occurring in California and Nevada right now are very small.

But over the past year, there have been far more mid-size earthquakes in the region than normal.  Seismologist Lucy Jones says that southern California normally experiences about 5 earthquakes of magnitude 4.0 or greater each year, but by August 20th of last year the region had already been hit by 13

According to Jones, there have been 13 earthquakes in Southern California with magnitudes of 4.0 or greater this year alone.

Compare that to the last 20 years, there have been about five earthquakes per year of 4.0 or greater in Southern California, she added.

And that was before a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck northern California on December 5th

A magnitude 7 earthquake hit off the coast of northern California on Thursday (Dec. 5).

However, a tsunami warning that had initially been prompted by the earthquake has now been canceled, according to the U.S. Tsunami Warning System.

The earthquake hit at 10:44 a.m. PST (18:44 UTC) at a depth of about 0.4 mile (0.6 kilometers), according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake occurred off the coast, about 39 miles (63 km) northwest of the city of Petrolia in Humboldt County.

Needless to say, this year is off to a very strong start as well.

Alarmingly, the San Andreas fault was hit by a swarm of 4 notable earthquakes in mid-January

The four quakes occurred along the San Andreas fault – the volatile boundary between two tectonic plates: the Pacific plate and the North American plate. It runs 800 miles along the coast of California.

Scientists have said that the West Coast is overdue for a massive quake along the San Andreas fault, which would measure magnitude 8 or higher.

I will be watching activity along the San Andreas fault very carefully.

For years, I have been warning that it is just a matter of time before “the Big One” dramatically alters the geography of the California coastline on a permanent basis.

Of course Oregon and Washington have much to be concerned about as well.

Scientists are telling us that there is a “buildup of magma” at a 3,600-foot-tall volcano near the coast of Oregon…

Axial Seamount, a massive underwater volcano located nearly 300 miles off the Oregon coast, is showing signs of an imminent eruption.

This 3,600-foot-tall volcano, which spans 1.25 miles across and sits 4,626 feet beneath the Pacific Ocean’s surface, is currently experiencing significant swelling and rumbling, indicating a buildup of magma.

At this point, researchers believe that this underwater volcano “will erupt by the end of 2025”

After closely monitoring the volcano’s activity, Oregon State University Research Associate Bill Chadwick predicts that Axial Seamount will erupt by the end of 2025 based on its recent increase in activity.

When this volcano finally erupts, scientists do not expect it to be a threat to those living along the coast.

Hopefully they are right.

But if Mt. Rainier erupts, that will be another matter entirely.  The following comes from an article entitled “Mount Rainier monitored closely as scientists keep watch for signs of volcanic activity”

Experts believe an eruption from Mount Rainier would post a grave threat to millions of people who live in the southern and eastern sections of the Seattle metropolitan area.

“One of the main hazards at Rainier, is it’s less explosive, but it has a lot of glaciers on top of it that can melt and form these really large lahars that can move downstream into areas people live in,” Iezzi said.

Lahars are very destructive volcanic mudflows that can swallow everything in their paths.

I have been sounding the alarm about Mt. Rainier for ages.

Let us hope that the inevitable eruption does not take place this year.

Next door in Idaho, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake rattled the southern portion of the state on Monday morning…

A magnitude 4.2 earthquake was reported in southern Idaho on Monday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake was reported just after 9:30 a.m. local time about 16 miles west-northwest of Clayton at a depth of about 7 miles.

Dozens of people across the region reported feeling the earthquake, including people in the Boise, Emmett and Hailey areas.

That was a very unusual earthquake for southern Idaho.

Interestingly, this has occurred at a time when scientists are warning that there has been a “significant movement of magma beneath Yellowstone”

Recent studies have detected significant movement of magma beneath Yellowstone. This activity, concentrated in the northeastern region of the caldera, marks a shift from the previously monitored western areas. This change has led to a reevaluation of potential eruption zones.

It doesn’t appear that there is any sort of imminent danger at Yellowstone.

But we will be watching.

Over on the east coast, a magnitude 3.8 earthquake really shook up a lot of people on Monday…

A magnitude 3.8 earthquake rattled parts of New England on Monday morning, with shaking felt from Boston to Portland, Maine, the US Geological Survey said.

The quake was centered about 7 miles southeast of York Harbor, Maine, and struck at a depth of about 8 miles, the USGS said. Earlier, the USGS estimated the magnitude was 3.9.

The York County Emergency Management Agency urged residents not to call 911 unless they needed urgent help.

One local resident that was home when this quake struck said that “the house started shaking like crazy”

“I was upstairs exercising and then all of a sudden the house started shaking like crazy,” Kittery resident Paul Miller said. “Dishes we’re rattling in the cupboards.”

The earthquake located approximately 7 miles southeast of Nubble Lighthouse sent tremors throughout the state.

“Being in the basement out there on Nubble Light, it was pretty dramatic, a lot more shaking going on,” Stephen Brown said.

I know that I covered a lot of material very rapidly in this article.

But I wanted to give you a really good feel for what is going on around the country.

What we are witnessing is not normal, and I fully expect natural disasters to continue to be a major theme throughout the remainder of this year.

Military Grade Sunglasses

What Are “Tactical” Sunglasses Anyway?

Eye protection is essential during an emergency or military campaign.

Why? Because eyesight is the most vital survival resource you have.

That goes triple for survival situations!

In combat, protecting your eyes from dangerous debris and UV rays is a mandatory tactic.

They provide superior eye protection for dynamic situations.

That’s why they come with levels of certification, depending on the environmental severity.

Tactical Glasses

The term is used to distinguish them from regular shades.

They enhance and protect your eyes against flying debris.

They also offer protection from the sun and dust.

These military-grade sunglasses are a bare minimum for any survivalist.

Ballistic Glasses

The term ballistics refers to free-moving objects and projectile impacts.

So if there’s a chance of encountering high-velocity debris, go with ballistic.

These glasses are shatterproof to protect your eyeballs.

Polarized Glasses

Polarized sunglasses have specifically designed filters to reflect intense light conditions and reduce glare.

This feature enhances your visual clarity and augments color.

That way, you can focus on ALL critical objects within your field of vision.

They also provide 100% UVA and UVB protection from the sun.

Best Tactical Glasses

Best Reasons To Invest In A Pair

Nearly everyone enjoys spending time in the great outdoors.

But not everyone requires an investment in such high-tech gear.

How do you know if you need them?

Here are 4 reasons you should invest:

1. Ocular Trauma

Injuries are a forgone conclusion if you’re in combat or outdoors.

And a good IFAK kit can successfully patch scrapes, cuts, and other wounds.

But it’s a different story with your eyes.

If a projectile punctures your eye, you’re immediately out of commission.

And likely in need of medical attention.

So prevention is better.

That’s why owning a pair of military-grade sunglasses to shield your eyes is wise.

Even dust and dirt can slow you down in a crisis.

That’s why keeping your sight 100% intact is the name of the survival game.

2. Ultimate Polarized Protection

The sun doesn’t care if you’re in a life-threatening survival situation.

It’s an equal opportunity blinder.

And vision is the most important of your five senses.

It’s estimated to create around 70% of your sensory awareness.

Sure, even standard sunglasses can “sort of” protect you from some rays.

But for serious survival, you need 100% guaranteed coverage.

And that’s just a starting point.

What about glare?

You need to see what’s in front of you, even when the sunbeams are flaring.

Having a tool to filter out those reflective glares is more than just necessary – it’s essential.

You don’t want depth perception or color issues when you’re mid-bug out.

3. Paintball and Airsoft

If you love the thrill of combat training and simulation games, you need gear to support that.

Your eyewear should match your lifestyle.

Tactical eyewear is essential if you play military sports like paintball and airsoft.

Get some ballistic glasses or goggles to suit your needs.

That way, you’ll be more competitive even after taking a direct hit to the face.

Heck, they could even save your vision.

4. Hunting And Camping

Some people think getting out in the wild is a passive pastime but think again.

If you’re on a hunting trip or camping, you better protect your precious optical nerves.

Because tracking prey takes time, but then all at once, you have to sprint through the bush.

Pokey branches and foliage can quickly turn into stabbing knives.

Passive spears are just waiting to penetrate your unprotected eyes.

And this type of freak accident can take you down in an instant.

Best Tactical Sunglasses Features To Look For

There are several styles on the market.

But ensure you get the features you need for the situation you’ll be wearing them in.

Military Ballistic Protection Rating

In the military, there is a list of approved goggles and sunglasses.

Look for the APEL rating, which stands for Approved Protective Eyewear List.

OR

MCEP (Military Combat Eye Program) is a program that selects and approves eyewear for the US Army.

The top ballistic sunglasses will have letters marked on the glasses.

It indicates they’ve met a comprehensive ballistic standard for ultimate eye protection.

Comprehensive UV Shielding

When you are out in the elements for an extended period, your eyes need protection from the sun.

You need 100% protection from the harmful UVA/UVB/UVC rays with a comfortable grip and wide coverage.

You can opt for the standard shaded lenses.

OR the amber-tinted option.

Some glasses allow you to swap between the two depending on the situation.

A Proper Fit

There are many different shapes and styles to choose from.

But everyone has a unique face shape.

So make sure your new ballistic sunglasses fit right.

For example, some glasses include a brow on the top that rests against your forehead.

But this design allows sweating to build up.

So make sure the frame is thin and sleek so they fit over your ears comfortably.

Enhanced Visibility

They should give you optimal situational awareness.

They help reduce the brightness and glare that the sun pumps out.

That way, you always have a clear line of sight regardless of where the sun is.

Polarization also enhances colors and is scratch and fog-resistant.

These features all add to a distraction-free vision environment.

Finally, if you need eye correction, you can wear contacts.

Or you can look into replacing the lenses with prescription lenses.

Chemical Resistance

While ballistics is the first concern to such a sensitive organ as your eyes.

But what about chemical agents melting your eyes?

That might be worse.

So having a pair of chemical-resistant eyeglasses is a MUST in any combat or SAR operations.

Final Thoughts

Protection against injury is your best defense when outdoors.

Your eyes are vital for keeping moving and protecting yourself when needed.

Be prepared for everything that comes at you with ballistic tactical sunglasses.

They are more than necessary to live a resilient lifestyle.

And will protect you when the world goes sideways!

    Brief Intro. Into EDC Bags

A quick look online proves I’m not alone in my passion for Everyday Carry Bags.

There’s an overwhelming number of options to choose from nowadays… But THAT’s the “problem.

It’s hard to figure out which one will work best for you.

Nowadays, there are dozens of everyday carry bag manufacturers, each with a unique lineup of styles and sizes. So many, in fact, deciding on the “best bag” can feel a bit overwhelming.

But at least we’ve moved on from the ’90s when fanny packs were all the rage!

    ↓ Hilarious Fanny Pack Dance-A-Long

Opp… never mind, my wife just told me they’re BACK…

    EDC Items

    1. Determine Your EDC Gear

The biggest mistake people make is buying their bag before they know what’s going into it.

This means you’re not selecting the best tool for your specific needs.

You’re making your plans fit the bag instead of your bag fitting your plans. This is a recipe for disappointment! You’ll end up with a bag far too big or too small without the needed features.

This means it will not be as useful as it should be, and you won’t carry it.

Defeating the purpose of building your bag in the first place! So let’s go over a few of the most popular Everyday Carry Items you may want to carry broken down into 3 main categories:

    1. The Standard Don’t-Leave-Home-Without Items
    2. The Mission Critical Tools and Devices
    3. The Convenience Matters Items

    The Standard Don’t-Leave-Home-Without Items

Ok, take a moment to think through your daily situations. What tools do you absolutely NEED to succeed in those situations?

↓ EDC List – My Everday Carry Setup

List all the items you’d turn around and head home if you forgot.

Sure, many of these will be the items that you “could” carry in your pockets. But I also urge you to resist the temptation to add too many of these items to this list.

You want to keep it short and concise as this will be the primary load you carry EVERY day. Some examples that fall in this category are:

    Keys

You’ll need them at some point, whether it’s a car, home, or office.

    Wallet

I’ve found out the hard way; it’s difficult to get anything done without the contents of my wallet.

    Cell phone

People didn’t have cell phones 50 years ago and somehow got through the day. But times have changed.

The expectation of instantaneous communication is now part of daily life.

The Mission Critical Tools and Devices

Next, consider the tasks, challenges, and threats you might encounter during your day.

This will help you choose the items that help get your job done, reduce your risks, and help ensure your safety. This might include:

    Small Specialty Tools

If there’s a small tool you use frequently, it might be worth keeping a spare in your EDC in case you need it.

I used to keep a spare ultra-small screwdriver in my bag for adjusting delicate equipment.

It was the only tool I knew I couldn’t borrow or improvise on the job.

    Flashlight

There are many reasons to carry a compact flashlight for work and safety in the dark.

You can even get a smaller tactical flashlight without adding too much size or weight.

    Safety Whistle

Survival whistles are compact, lightweight, and great for signaling for help.

    Self-defense Weapons

    Daily life carries certain risks.

Ones you can only properly mitigate with self-defense weapons.

Whether that means a knife, pepper spray, or firearm, this can be an essential tool to have at the ready.

    Radio

Cell phones are great, but they don’t always have service.

Some situations call for direct communication, and a small radio receiver is perfect for this.

If you get your HAM license, you can access all communication channels.

    Multi-Use Items

You might want to add a small roll of duct tape, some paracord, and a good multi-tool.

Think of the little odds and ends you reach for to solve all kinds of problems.

    Laptop

It’s a reality of daily life that some people have to carry a laptop computer throughout the day.

I go from meeting to meeting for most of the workday, so I have to count myself among them.

I chose a smaller, lightweight laptop with good battery life so I can leave the cords at home.

    Convenience Matters Items

Finally, choose the convenience items that make your daily tasks easier.

These aren’t critical items but help your productivity, and you use them frequently.

    A few suggestions:

    USB Battery Pack

If you depend on your cell phone, you know how quickly the battery can die.

If you’re not in the office throughout the day, it can be hard to recharge, so toss a USB battery pack in.

    Notepad & Tactical Pen

I take lots of notes. Sure, some of it can be done with a notes app on my phone.

But a small paper notepad and tactical pen can be indispensable for sharing information or leaving a note for someone.

    Sunglasses

Let me say if I forget my sunglasses on a hot, bright day, I’m not a happy camper.

    Water Bottle

A small water bottle is another wise addition. I use a collapsible one, which stores small when not in use.

    Headphones

It’s unnecessary, but headphones can help you focus on tasks or block out extraneous sounds.

Your EDC list will be different from mine based on the situations you face.

These are things I’ve found I often use enough to warrant carrying. However, I’m constantly reevaluating my EDC list.

Determining if I still need to carry an item or to decide if I should upgrade to a newer, lighter version.

Over the years, I’ve found that some items that were once necessary no longer apply to a new daily routine.

Remember, these items shouldn’t be identical to the ones you carry in your Bug Out Bag. There may be some overlap, but your EDC bag should be much lighter because you’ll be taking it every day.

Think of it as the least amount of tools to get through a day.

If you add too much, you’re weighing yourself down.

    Backpack

    2. Choosing The Right Bag Size

Now that you have a well-rounded list, it’s time to see how much space your load requires.

If you plan to carry some of these items in your pockets or on your belt, you can set them aside for now.

    For example:

I keep my cell phone and a folding knife in my pocket, so I don’t need space in my bag for them.

Often, the largest item in your EDC list is the thing that drives your bag selection.

My bag has to fit a 13″ laptop, so anything smaller isn’t a viable option.

You’ll face a similar situation if you carry rain gear, safety equipment, or heavy tools.

Everyday carry bags range from small organizer pouches to full survival backpacks.

So, bag choice is heavily influenced by the amount you need to carry.

I recommend choosing one on the smaller end of the range that fits your EDC items.

    This will do two things:

    1. Force you to stay organized
    2. Keep you from adding more items “because there’s room.”

Once you’ve identified your largest items, it’s time to think about how you like to organize the rest.

There should be a lot of organizational pockets.

That way, you have plenty of flexibility to organize in any way that suits you.

I keep most of my items sorted by use (electronics in one pocket, first aid in another, etc.) and by the frequency of use.

My car keys are in a secure external pocket.

That way, I can grab them without digging through the rest of the bag. But my cell phone battery stays near the bottom since I don’t need it as often.

Closeup view of closed zippers on a bag.

    3. Selecting A Bag Style

Just as there’s a wide range of features and sizes, there are also several different styles of bags.

I don’t mean “style” in the same sense as “fashion,” but more in the shape and functionality of the bag itself.

Depending on how you plan to use your bag, you may prefer one style over another.

    EDC Organizer Pouch

The smallest bags aren’t “bags” at all.

Instead, they are organizational pouches that fit in your pocket or on a belt.

Most of them are under 1L in volume, roughly the size of a water bottle.

Due to the small size, an organizer pouch is more discrete than many other options.

This can be a great option if your EDC list is short and all the items are small.

    4. “Gray Man” Theory & Urban Bags

If you’ve learned about the “gray man” theory in emergency situations, you’ll know that it’s wise to blend into a crowd.

You’re less likely to be identified as a threat (or a savior).

That way, you can accomplish your objectives with the least amount of hassle.

This can mean the difference between:

    • Becoming sucked into the problem or
    • Slipping past unnoticed

However, you’re probably also wondering how an everyday carry bag fits into this idea.

Many have a very distinct, tactical look.

These survival bags tell a story.

They advertise to everyone you have resources inside.

This isn’t ideal if you plan to be discrete while out in public.

Even if you aren’t looking to blend into a crowd, sometimes the tactical look isn’t what you’re looking for.

A rugged pack covered in MOLLE in my office looks out of place.

It would set some of our clients on edge in a way a more streamlined bag wouldn’t.

Luckily, gear manufacturers today make EDC packs that blend into an office setting.

This stems from the rise of cycle commuters in the outdoor-friendly Western US.

Nearly everyone on the street in cities like Portland and Seattle has a daypack or messenger bag.

A bag for all sorts of settings, from rainy city streets to Silicone Valley boardrooms!

Whether you have to blend into a crowd or just fit into the company dress code, urban EDC bags are a great option.

    5. Pulling The Trigger – Choosing Your Bag

At this point, you should have some answers to the following questions:

    • Which items do you want to carry daily?
    • How much space do you need to carry them?
    • Which style of bag do you like best?

So now it’s time to choose the one that suits you.

Whether you buy online or in-store, take the time to try packing your potential bag to see how things fit.

Sometimes, you’ll find that dimensions aren’t accurate, and a 15-inch laptop won’t fit in the “15-inch laptop sleeve”!

While you’re getting hands-on time with the bag, check for the quality of construction and materials.

Return it immediately if you notice bad seams, crooked attachments, or other signs that the bag wasn’t made with the highest care.

Remember, this is a bag you’ll carry daily and count on for years.

If you see problems at the start, they’re not going to get better as time goes on.

Again, the process of selecting your items and the best bag for EDC is a very personal one.

The features that work for me may not work for you.

It’s also a process. One you should revisit on occasion as your needs change.

You may find yourself carrying different items to adapt to your daily tasks.

Remember, at the end of the day, you’re building yourself a toolkit to get through your everyday life.

It’s a whole lot easier to face those everyday challenges with a bag full of your personal gear.

Solo Bushcraft Adventure: How to Survive the Wild Alone

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to head into the wild all by yourself? There’s a unique thrill in being alone with nature and far from the hustle and bustle of daily life—no crowds, no distractions—just peace and raw adventure. Despite the thrills, make no mistake: solo camping survival isn’t for the faint-hearted. It demands careful preparation, the right attitude, and solid understanding of outdoor essentials. Here’s how to embark on your first solo bushcraft adventure while remaining safe and confident.

Take the Leap: The Solo Bushcraft Adventure Handbook

A solo bushcraft adventure strips away the noise of modern life and challenges you to forge something incredible: confidence born from competence. So what do you say? Let’s step off the beaten path and learn what it takes to not just survive, but thrive solo in the wild. ✨

    1. Start with the Right Mindset

Your mindset can make or break your solo adventure. When you’re alone out there, you’ll face moments of doubt, discomfort, and maybe even fear. It’s all part of the experience, so the key is to stay calm and keep moving forward. Don’t panic, trust in your skills and plans.

Positive thinking is a survival skill in itself. Stay focused on the task and remember that every challenge is an opportunity to learn. Overcoming these little hurdles will build your confidence. And the more confident you are, the easier it gets to deal with whatever nature throws your way.

    2. Know Your Terrain

Before you head into the wilderness, take the time to really understand the area you’re heading for. Study maps, terrain, and weather patterns as well as check out local flora and fauna. This knowledge is your secret weapon when things go south. Knowing what to expect helps you identify safe food, find water, and build shelter.

Additionally, pre-trip research is crucial for survival. For instance, if you’re going camping in a forest, research beforehand where to find dry wood for your fire. Similarly, before going to a desert, check out the location of nearby water sources.

    3. Pack Only What You Need

When it comes to survival gear, less is more. Packing too much is a common rookie mistake. You’ll want to keep your load light but functional. Here’s a quick checklist of essentials:

    • Knife: A versatile tool for cutting, cooking, or crafting.
    • Firestarter: Ferro rods, waterproof matches, or lighters are your lifelines.
    • Water Filtration: Portable filters or purification tablets ensure clean drinking water.
    • First Aid Kit: Cover basic injuries like cuts, bruises, and sprains.
    • Shelter: A tarp or bivvy bag protects against the elements.
    • Food: Lightweight snacks paired with foraging know-how keep you energized.

When you’re out there, you want to focus on the essentials. Anything beyond that is just extra weight.

    4. Master the Art of Shelter Building

Creating a shelter should be one of your top priorities when you’re out solo. A good shelter is your safety net, as it keeps you warm, dry, and protected from the elements.

Find a good spot near a water source but not too close when flooding happens. Look for natural materials like branches, moss, and leaves to support your shelter. A basic debris hut or lean-to can keep you safe from the elements.

When using a tarp, set it up to create a waterproof, windproof shelter. Always consider ventilation, as you don’t want to trap moisture inside.

    5. Fire: Your Lifeline in the Wild

Fire is the key to staying warm, cooking food, and keeping wildlife at bay. If you don’t know how to make a fire without a lighter, now’s the time to practice.

Start by shaving a branch thin to create a feather stick. Feather sticks catch fire easily, even in damp conditions. Also, practice using a Ferro rod or a fire starter kit before you head out. It might take a few tries but don’t get discouraged. The more you practice, the easier it’ll become.

Once your fire is burning, use it wisely. Gather extra wood for later to keep your fire manageable. And remember, always put the fire out completely afterward to prevent wildfires.

    6. Water: Finding and Purifying It

Water is a non-negotiable for survival. You won’t last long without it, so always know where your water sources are. Look for streams, rivers, or lakes. If you’re in an area with heavy vegetation, chances are, you’ll find water nearby.

But don’t drink it straight away, as surface water might carry bacteria or parasites. Use a water filter, or if you don’t have one, boil it for at least 10 minutes. That way, you can safely drink it without risking illness.

If you don’t have a filter or boiling pot, use solar stills or other creative methods to purify water. The more methods you learn, the better.

    7. Foraging and Finding Food

If you plan to stay out for a while, you’ll need to know how to find food. While snacks like energy bars are a great backup, relying on nature is part of the experience. Learn which plants in your area are safe to eat. Wild berries, nuts, and edible plants can supplement your meals.

Fishing is another solid option if you’re near water. A simple handline or fishing rod can help you catch fish, which is a great protein source. If you’re into hunting, learn how to set traps or snares. A well-placed trap can provide food while you’re busy with other tasks.

    8. Safety First: How to Avoid Danger

Solo survival isn’t just about skills; it’s about being smart. Always tell someone where you’re going and when you plan to return. Pack a whistle, mirror, or flashlight so you can signal for help in case of an emergency.

Watch out for predators like bears, mountain lions, or wolves. If you encounter any of these, stay calm and back away slowly. Do not try to outrun them. You’re not faster, no matter how fast you think you are.

And lastly, keep an eye on the weather. Sudden storms or extreme temperatures can turn a pleasant trip into a life-threatening situation. Always be ready to leave if the weather worsens.

    9. Trust Your Instincts

Your instincts are your best ally in the wilderness. If something feels wrong, pay attention to that gut feeling. It’s your body telling you to be cautious. Solo survival is as much about mental resilience as it is about physical skill. The more you trust your instincts, the easier it gets to handle the unexpected.

    Survive. Thrive. Conquer.

Remember, survival isn’t just about knowing how to build a shelter or start a fire. It’s about adapting, learning, and growing in the wilderness. The more time you spend in nature, the more confident you’ll become. So, take that first step and embrace the wild. And most importantly, enjoy the adventure.

    How The Body Generates/Loses Heat

Have you ever experienced a power outage in the middle of winter? It’s no summer picnic, that’s for sure.

You start losing copious amounts of body heat fast through:

    • Radiation – The body naturally radiates thermal heat. And this electromagnetic radiation moves from hot to cold out of your body.
    • Respiration – The air inside your body is warm, and as you exhale, it’s lost.
    • Evaporation – As we sweat, our body’s heat is vaporized.
    • Conduction – Conduction is the heat transfer from direct contact with another object. The transfer will continue until there the two temperatures are in balance.
    • Convection – As air or water moves across our bodies, it draws warm air away, and cooler air replaces it.

Note: If your clothes are wet, the heat loss goes up exponentially.

So avoid being wet in a cold-weather emergency, which includes profuse sweating.

Ok, now that you know how your body loses heat, let’s get into the first tasks in an emergency. Reducing heat loss due to unnecessary leakage.

    Reducing Heat Loss

First things first, when in a power outage, reducing heat loss is as important as gaining heat.

You can’t allow heat to escape from your home and certainly not from your body.

Cracks and holes in your house are where heat escapes. And an open window is like shoveling hot coals into the snow. It’s wasted energy when you don’t have any to spare.

Go around and make your home airtight. Use towels along the bottom of doors if you have to.

You must preserve any heat that you have.

Indoor Heater That Doesn't Require Electricity

The Ultimate List Of Heat Options (that don’t require electricity)

    Your Own Body

Let’s start with your meat suit.

Your body is a fantastic machine that generates heat as it operates. You need to preserve it at all costs. You also need to generate more heat.

    Preserving

Before thinking of generating, preserve what you make first.

Bundle up with extra layers of clothing like sweatpants, socks, and sweaters.

    • Hats and gloves are essential too.
    • Have extra blankets on the bed and ones for the couch.
    • Duvets keep the heat in.

    Generating

Physical activities like working out or a brisk walk around the house can generate heat.

So can frontier lifestyle activities such as chopping firewood or hauling water. Heck, wrestling with the kids or intimacy with a partner will also generate copious amounts of heat.

Combined body heat is an effective way to share yourself by cozying up in a sleeping bag.

This works with ANYONE. But it is much less awkward with those you love (like your kids, spouse, or pet).

    Remember:

Avoid working out so hard that you get drenched in sweat. The wet body and damp clothes can quickly become counterproductive in the frigid cold.

    Eating

Who’d have thought filling your face could keep you warm?

Digesting food raises your body temperature through thermogenesis. So eat foods high in carbs, protein, and healthy fats. Add some extra spice to sweat from the inside.

Hot drinks help, too, but they need an external source of heat to make.

    Sun Radiation

The sun is your friend and is an integral alternative heat source for power outages. While the sun is out, take advantage of its thermal power during the day.

How? By opening up curtains and blinds, so it radiates inside the home.

This is when you should charge solar-powered devices—equipment like:

While the sun is shining, open your curtains and let the sun’s rays come through your windows.

It’s one FREE way to heat a room without electricity.

Another “trick’ is to fill up all your plastic water bottles and leave them in the direct light. Then bring them inside after the sun fades so they can release that heat slowly over time.

This “trick” is even more effective for larger vessels like barrels. Heck, you could even invest in a water wall that passively absorbs the heat during the day and releases it at night.

Stones can also retain heat from the sun if they are adequately insulated. Wrap hot rocks in a towel and put them at the end of your bed to keep you warm while sleeping.

The sun is free so take full advantage of it.

Electric Lighter Used To Lite Candle Wick

    Candles

Candles are natural nonelectric heaters that you can buy in bulk or make your own from your beehives. They give you two essential sources for survival; heat and light.

A candle is an essential prepper item you should add to your emergency stockpile. As well as stored in abundance at your home, bug-out location, and DIY bunker.

Know this… A candle isn’t going to heat your entire house or cook a steak.

Having said that, any emergency heating is going to help. And you can light up a bunch of candles to contribute to the solution.

Just be safe when using candles, as they are an open flame. Beeswax candles give off a pleasant scent and release negative ions in the room to clear the air.

Lovely smells can become more important the longer you hunker down inside. Coconut wax is a great option. It’s a highly renewable, non-toxic wax and burns cleaner and longer than other wax candles.

Tea candles are handy to stack together to form a more concentrated heat zone. And can be safely used with various holders.

    clay pot candle heater

You can also build your own candle heater with tea candles and a couple of clay pots.

Check out our article How To Build A Clay Pot Candle Heater and Do They Really Work?

    TACT Bivvy Main Image

    Blankets

Blankets are a bit of a no-brainer, but most people only have one blanket per bed in their homes.

This strategy is a mistake because when the power grids are down, you need extra blankets for beds, couches, and keeping pets warm. But the truth about blankets is that they don’t produce any heat by themselves. That’s your body’s job.

Instead, a good blanket will trap the heat your body  produces.

There are different materials used in making blankets, and the best for keeping warm are:

    • Down Filled – Mature birds have the warmest fill.
    • 100% Wool – This comes from sheep, and it’s evolved to keep them warm.
    • Fleece- Made of synthetic material to mimic wool.
    • Mylar is space-age aluminum and acts as a reflector for body heat.

TACT Bivvy In HandMy favorite option is the Mylar Blankets (like the Tact Bivvy).

Why? Because they are lightweight and trap nearly all the heat, your body can generate. Making them more efficient than even the best fabric blanket money can buy.

I tested a TACT Bivvy Mylar blanket in frigid temps in my backyard, and after only a few minutes, I was toasty warm inside.

    Outside Temp / Inside Blanket

Honestly, I think EVERYONE should put a TACT Bivvy in their glove boxes for winter car emergencies.

And they’re also a very cheap way to stay warm during a winter power outage as well!

Check out our article 9 Best Mylar Space Blankets On The Market Today

    Frozen Fingers On Cold Hands

    Warmer Packs / Hand Warmers

Several manufacturers make portable body warmer packs, including:

They are great for giving you fast, long-lasting warmth. And these devices can slip inside your gloves, in your pockets, and shoes.

Or with some, you can even have adhesive to stick to your back, shoulders, or anywhere else you need them.

Different chemicals inside them react when shaken or exposed to air to produce heat.

Some have iron powder or sodium acetate to make a thermal reaction. But they all are safe to use for all members of the family.

You should always have these emergency heater packs on hand. They’re crucial for outdoor winter activities and emergencies. And they’re an excellent backup if the electricity stops working in your home.

There are also portable hand warmers like the:

They can be charged and ready for use when needed.

Check out our article 9 Best Hand Warmers For Cold Weather Emergencies

    Soap Stone

Soapstone is a natural type of metamorphic rock made primarily of talc. And people have been using it for carving material for thousands of years. Why? Because it’s relatively soft.

Some grades feel like soap, and that’s how it got its name.

Besides its carving ability, soapstone is a fantastic heat retainer. It quickly absorbs heat and radiates it slowly for several hours. Basalt also works similarly.

Make your own soapstone bed warmer.

First, drill two holes in the top and bend some sturdy wire to make a pail-type handle. Then you can hang it near the fire or even in a window to absorb heat during the day.

At night, drag it up and down your bed and wrap it in a towel to stay at the bottom, underneath the blankets. This setup will keep you toasty all night.

    ↓ Survival Heat: Soapstone Warmers

    Best Non-electric Fuel Heater Options

You’ll need something a little bigger if you want to heat an entire room without electricity. Several fuel-based heaters do everything from cooking to heating.

They use radiant heat or convection heat and use these different fuels:

    kerosene tank

    Kerosene

These heaters use kerosene liquid to heat quickly. And can provide either radiant or convection heat.

The convection type carries fuel at the base with a combustible chamber. This chamber ignites and heats in all directions through a circular design.

Radiant heaters send their heat straight out using a reflector or blower. You can find kerosene at most home improvement stores. And they use a soaked wick with an ignition starter or a burn chamber where you use a match to light the wick.

    ↓ DuraHeat Kerosene Heater Review

    propane tank

    Propane

Propane heaters come in various sizes and use refillable tanks. They come in canister sizes ranging from 16 ounces to 20-pound tanks in size.

    • Smaller units are better indoors and work well moving from room to room.
    • Bigger units usually are left stationary for safety, with the tank left outside.

The BLUU propane heater for outdoor and indoor use is perfect for your emergency heat. Or this simple heater mounts to the top of a propane tank.

Check out our article, Kerosene vs. Propane Heaters – The Best Solution For Survival

    ↓ Best Indoor Propane Heaters

    Natural Gas

Natural gas heaters work like propane heaters. But instead of a refillable tank, you can attach the natural gas line from your home.

That is, IF it’s still available in your home after a power outage. You have to attach it to a fixed gas connection in your home.

So it isn’t portable like the propane or kerosene tanks, but you have a steady fuel supply.

↓ How To Install A Dyna Glo Ventless Heater

    Biofuel Heaters

Biofuel is any fuel that comes from living matter.

It includes wood, ethanol, methanol, biogas, and biodiesel. They even have tabletop biogas fireplace heaters that look great and heat your space.

They require you to fill up the fuel tank, which burns for a long time without fuss.

You can also get reusable biofuel fuel cans for portable heating on the go or in an emergency. They can heat food and provide some warmth, and they are very affordable and portable.

    You can even refill them.

Every prepper should have these by the stack and in storage for an emergency.

    Butane Heaters

Small portable butane heaters can get you through an emergency power grid interruption.

They provide some warmth and the ability to do some rudimentary cooking. Units like this dual butane and propane heater can provide sustainable heat indoors.

Always make sure to have a well-ventilated area when using this type of fuel.

    Solar Heaters

These heaters don’t use combustible fluids. Instead, they get thermal energy from the sun. This device collects energy throughout the day and stores it until needed.

Cold air travels down into the unit and picks up the thermal heat to blow it into your room.

They are expensive, but your heat is free once set up.

    stack of firewood

    Fireplace and Wood Stove

Wood stoves are the perfect solution to indoor heaters that don’t require electricity.

You’re in business as long as you keep your supply of dried and split wood at the ready.

A standard fireplace is best when designed into a house’s structure. And they usually require the professional skills of a bricklayer.

Proper venting, hearth, and mantel are essential components. But your fireplace will mostly radiate heat in the main room.

This design is OK because much air will escape out of the house and up through the chimney.

A wood stove is much better for heating!

And you can also install them during a build, but it is doable to add them later than a fireplace. It just takes a protective floor and wall solution and cutting a hole in the wall or roof to bring the stack outside.

An insulated chimney pipe passes through a home’s framing components; that way, there’s no heat touching flammable material.

A properly maintained wood burner setup can burn all night. Thus, providing all the emergency heating necessary to survive without electricity.

Note: A wood stove is “THE solution” I choose for my family as a backup nonelectric heater!

↓ Heating Your House With A Wood Burning Stove

    Small Generator For Camping

    Backup Generators

Emergency home heating sometimes needs a powerful generator.

A large generator turns fuel and combustion into electrical current to tie into your home. You can install large units on a concrete pad beside your home. These are ready to provide full power to run everything with the flip of a switch.

A standard “camping” gas generator can be stored until needed for smaller emergency heating. It’s easy to run a few power cords to get vital electric appliances and lights on.

You’ll need to refill with diesel, gas, natural gas, or use a solar unit.

A large solar generator is called a power station; you’ll need to pair this unit with solar panels.

Heck, you could even invest in hand crank or pedal crank generators to power a few personal items during a blackout. Plus, by cranking or pedaling, you’ll generate some of your own heat…

Check out the following articles for more information:

    Wind Power

You can similarly harness the power of the wind to solar. Your wind turbine unit can store battery power and then runs some or all of your electrical needs.

If you want to use it to store power for heat, pair it with an electric heater that can plug into the battery system.

    Final Thoughts

Disruption to the power grid requires planning, supplies, and equipment. The best options include indoor heaters that don’t require electricity.

Invest in these various nonelectric heater options so you’re never left out in the cold.

There Will Be A Planetary Alignment Of 6 Planets In The Sky The Day After Trump Is Inaugurated

Is it just a coincidence that there will be a major planetary alignment on January 21st?  Just as Donald Trump returns to the White House, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune will be aligning in the sky.  This planetary alignment of 6 planets will occur the day after the 60th presidential inauguration in our history takes place.  Of course there are many people out there that believe that the positioning of celestial objects is completely coincidental and could never possibly mean anything.  But in Luke chapter 21, Jesus specifically warned us that there would be “signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars” during the times just before His return.  And without a doubt, there certainly have been a lot of very unusual “signs in the sky” in recent years.  Could it be possible that this is yet another “sign in the sky” that should be getting our attention?

I don’t have all the answers.

But hopefully I am asking some of the right questions.

It is being reported that six planets “will align in the sky” on January 21st…

The next planetary alignment will take place on January 21, 2025. In the evening, just after sunset, six planets — Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, and Saturn — will align in the sky. Four of these planets (Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn) will be easily visible to the naked eye. You’ll need a telescope or high-powered binoculars to see Neptune and Uranus.

I was stunned when I first heard about this.

But that is not the end of the story.

Throughout the rest of this month and all of next month, all six planets will be visible in the night sky.

Then on February 28th, a seventh planet (Mercury) will join this “parade of planets”

In January and February, we can witness this event taking place. The planets are not exactly lined up, so they will appear in an arc across the sky due to their orbital plane in the Solar System. During clear nights in January and February, all of the planets except Mercury will be visible – an event sometimes called a planetary parade. On 28 February, though – weather permitting – all seven planets will be visible, a great spectacle for observers on the ground.

“There is something special about looking at the planets with your own eyes,” says Jenifer Millard, a science communicator and astronomer at Fifth Star Labs in the UK. “Yes, you can go on Google and get a more spectacular view of all these planets. But when you’re looking at these objects, these are photons that have travelled millions or billions of miles through space to hit your retinas.”

Including Earth, there are only 8 planets in our solar system.

So all of the other 7 planets will be visible once we get to February 28th.

A “planetary parade” that includes all 7 of the other planets in our solar system is a very rare event, and I have no idea why this isn’t making more news.

But even if there were no “signs in the sky” at all, I would still be entirely convinced that the inauguration of Donald Trump is a pivotal moment in our history.

Our world is about to dramatically change, and nothing will ever be the same after this.

Of course there is always a lot of optimism whenever a presidential inauguration happens, and a CNN poll has found that 56 percent of Americans anticipate that Trump will do a “good job”

President-elect Donald Trump will enter his second term in the White House with a majority of Americans both expecting him to do well and satisfied with the way he’s handled the transition into public office, according to a new poll.

A CNN survey released Thursday found 56% of Americans expect Trump to do a “good job” as the 47th president – up from 48% after his 2016 election win.

The poll also found 55% approve of the way the president-elect has handled his second transition – far higher than the 40% approval number he received eight years ago.

Needless to say, many on the left do not share this optimism.

Time Magazine is suggesting that those that are coping with grief on Inauguration Day should considering getting together with others for a good cry…

It might seem counterintuitive, but if you need to shed a few tears on Inauguration Day, it’s healthy to let them out with one caveat: You shouldn’t do it alone. “The grace and speed with which somebody recovers from grief if they have an opportunity to cry with the support of another person—someone who they trust and who they believe cares about them—is orders of magnitude improved,” Simon-Thomas says.

While research suggests crying alone isn’t overly helpful, crying around others often leads to comfort, support, empathy, and stronger social bonds. “It’s really, really beneficial to have that emotion in an honest, authentic way, and to reap the benefits we’re endowed with interpersonally.”

    Seriously?

Time Magazine used to be respected around the world decades ago, but now it has become a sad joke.

Trump’s team plans to hit the ground running on January 20th, and we are being told that Trump will be signing more than 100 executive orders right away…

“Shock and awe,” Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., recently predicted after Republicans members of Congress received a preview of the activity to come.

Convinced he has an election “mandate” from American voters, Trump is planning to surpass the century mark in executive actions over his first few days of office after getting sworn in as the 47th president on Monday ‒ a moment he’s called a “liberation day for America.”

“There will be over 100 executive actions ‒ commands to the bureaucracies to change their ways,” Stephen Miller, Trump’s incoming deputy chief of staff for policy, told Fox News last week.

Yes, it really will be “shock and awe”, and there will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth on the left.

But this is just the beginning.

As I discussed in a previous article, there are at least 5 historic emergencies that Trump will be faced with once he enters the White House.

The decisions that Trump makes over the next couple of months will have a major impact on the trajectory of global events.

Meanwhile, the positioning of the planets in the night sky will be clearly pointing to the fact that something truly unusual is taking place.

Israel’s Deadly Strikes Continue Despite Ceasefire Deal, Raising Doubts About Lasting Peace

This article was originally published by Cassie B. at Natual News.

      • Israel intensified Gaza bombardment hours after announcing a ceasefire deal, killing 77 Palestinians, including 21 children and 25 women, in the deadliest 24-hour period in over a week.
      • The ceasefire, brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the U.S., aimed for a six-week pause, hostage-prisoner exchanges, and Israeli troop withdrawal, but violence has cast doubt on its durability.
      • Ceasefire celebrations in Gaza were overshadowed by Israeli airstrikes, which killed dozens, including a human rights worker and his family, sparking criticism and skepticism.
      • Political infighting in Israel, including Netanyahu’s delayed cabinet vote and far-right opposition, threatens the fragile ceasefire agreement.
      • The deal offers hope with increased humanitarian aid, but unresolved issues like Gaza’s governance and the broader Israeli-Palestinian conflict remain.

Israel intensified its bombardment of Gaza just hours after announcing a ceasefire deal with Hamas, killing at least 77 Palestinians—including 21 children and 25 women—in the deadliest 24-hour period in over a week.

The agreement, brokered by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, was meant to bring a six-week pause to the fighting and facilitate the release of hostages and prisoners. However, the continued violence has cast a shadow over the fragile truce, raising questions about whether the deal will lead to lasting peace or merely a temporary lull in the bloodshed.

The ceasefire, set to begin Sunday, outlines a phased approach: an initial six-week pause in fighting, the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, and the release of 33 Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. U.S. President Joe Biden hailed the deal as a “critical first step” toward ending the conflict, which has claimed over 46,000 Palestinian lives and displaced nearly 2 million people since October 2023. Yet, as Israeli airstrikes continued to devastate Gaza, many are left wondering if the agreement is more about optics than genuine reconciliation.

    Ceasefire celebrations overshadowed by violence

The announcement of the ceasefire sparked jubilation in Gaza, where residents have endured 15 months of relentless bombardment, severe shortages of food and water, and the destruction of homes and infrastructure. In Khan Younis, crowds took to the streets, waving Palestinian flags and chanting in celebration. “I am happy. Yes, I am crying, but those are tears of joy,” said Ghada, a displaced mother of five.

But the celebrations were short-lived. Hours after the deal was announced, Israeli airstrikes pounded Gaza City, Rafah, and Nuseirat, killing dozens and destroying homes. Among the victims was Ihab Marwan Kamal Faisal, a 33-year-old human rights worker, along with his wife and two young daughters.

The timing of the strikes has drawn sharp criticism. “Every time there is talk about a truce or ceasefire, we witness an escalation in the intensity of the bombardment,” said Mahmoud Basal, a spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense. The attacks have left many questioning Israel’s commitment to peace.

The ceasefire deal, while a significant diplomatic achievement, faces numerous hurdles. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has delayed a cabinet vote on the agreement, citing last-minute demands from Hamas. Meanwhile, far-right members of his coalition, including Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, have threatened to withdraw their support if Israel does not resume fighting after the initial six-week pause.

This political infighting underscores the fragility of the deal. “It’s stunning to me that the prime minister—the magician, the master politician—seems to have miscalculated,” said Aaron David Miller, a veteran American negotiator.

Even if the ceasefire holds, the broader conflict remains unresolved. The agreement does not address the future governance of Gaza or the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

    A glimmer of hope

Despite the violence, the ceasefire offers a glimmer of hope for Gaza’s beleaguered population. The deal includes provisions for increased humanitarian aid, which is desperately needed to address the enclave’s dire conditions. The United Nations and other aid agencies are preparing to ramp up their operations, but the scale of the devastation will require years of reconstruction.

For now, the people of Gaza remain caught between hope and despair. Although they’ve been waiting for a breakthrough in ceasefire negotiations, they’ve suffered monumental losses.

As the world watches, the question remains: Will this ceasefire mark the beginning of a lasting peace, or will it be another fleeting pause in a cycle of violence that has claimed too many lives?

What Will You Do When You Can’t Buy Or Sell Anything On The Internet Without Your UN-Mandated Digital Identity Chip?

Imposing mandatory digital identification on every nation on the entire planet has become a primary goal for the global elite.  It isn’t going to happen tomorrow, but eventually the plan is to get virtually everyone in the world into the system.  If the global elite get their way, a time will come when you will not be able to buy or sell anything on the Internet without logging in with your UN-mandated digital identity chip.  You won’t be able to go to school, get a job or open a bank account without your UN-mandated digital identity chip either.  In essence, you will become a complete and utter outcast from society.

I have been astounded by what I have discovered.  Leo Hohmann and a few others have been writing about this, but the general population has no idea what the global elite have planned.  All the way back in September 2018, the United Nations established the “UN Legal Identity Agenda Task Force”

Inspired by the Secretary-General’s determination to tackle the global problem of statelessness (affecting more than 10 million people worldwide), but also noting the wider (and larger) issue of lack of legal identity, the Secretary-General’s Executive Committee, in January 2018, mandated the Deputy Secretary-General to convene “UN entities to develop, in collaboration with the World Bank Group, a common approach to the broader issue of registration and legal identity…”. To operationalize the decision of the Executive Committee, an inter-agency coordination mechanism — the UN Legal Identity Agenda Task Force (UNLIA TF) — was established from September 2018, where 13 UN agencies, under the chairmanship of UNDP, UNICEF and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, are working together to try to assist Member States achieve SDG target 16.9.

One of the responsibilities of this task force is to “oversee the implementation of the UN LIA at the regional and national level”.  The following comes from the official UN website

    • To oversee the implementation of the UN LIA at the regional and national level;
    • To develop and maintain normative work related to the UN LIA (with UNDESA leading as normative focal point);
    • To fully engage in fund raising, advocacy and communication of the UN LIA;
    • To convoke UN system-wide meetings to advance the implementation of the UN LIA;
    • To brief the DSG and other senior UN principals as required (including the Strategic Results Group on SDG Implementation) on latest developments in the implementation of the UN LIA;
    • To support the UNDP Administrator in his role as member of the WBG ID4D programme’s High-Level Advisory Council.

The United Nations Development Program is on the ground in 170 different countries and territories, and they have become one of the key UN agencies that is working to advance this agenda.

On the UNDP website, they have an entire page that discusses what they intend to do.  They argue that “embracing digitalization” will help to close the “global identity gap”…

Legal identity serves as a fundamental gateway to accessing both public and private services. However, a staggering 850 million people worldwide lack the means to establish their identity. Embracing digitalization offers a pathway to bridging this global identity gap, with digital legal identity serving as a cornerstone of digital public infrastructure, fostering interoperability among diverse systems.

Whenever they want to sell us on some horrible new thing that they want to do, they make it sound like it is something that is necessary to help the poor and needy.

The UNDP has listed five “compelling reasons” why digital identification must be imposed on the entire planet.  The first reason they give is that digital identification will allow them to track all of us

Digital legal identities offer a unique means of tracking population movements, facilitating swift access to essential information for each human being.

I’m sorry, but I don’t want the UN to ever track my movements.

I am sure that you feel the same way.

The second reason they give is that it will allow governments to register people more quickly during major disasters…

Several countries are adopting digital IDs to register disaster impacts, aiding in the comprehensive understanding of these events. With support from UNDP, countries are establishing tracking systems to collect data from various agencies, including environment, health, public works, transport, agriculture, statistics, and others at national, provincial, and sub-national levels.

So what would happen during a long-term global emergency such as a pandemic?

Would everyone be required to register for “assistance” with their national governments?

The third reason they give is that digital identification is necessary for “identifying vulnerable populations and critical infrastructure”

Digital IDs aid in identifying vulnerable populations and critical infrastructure, thereby bolstering resilience and guaranteeing a dependable energy supply during adverse events like extreme weather, seismic activity, wildfires, or power grid failures. Utility providers and emergency services can utilize this personal data during disasters to precisely locate individuals in need of special assistance, including those reliant on medical equipment powered by electricity or facing mobility challenges. Targeted support ensures that the most vulnerable members of the community receive prompt assistance and access to necessary energy resources.

In other words, when things go wrong, digital identification will make it easier for governments to “help” us.

We just have to give away all of our privacy first.

The fourth reason they give is that digital identification will help fight “climate change” because it will allow governments to “track energy consumption” and “inspire behaviour change”

Leveraging digital legal ID data to track energy consumption, inspire behaviour change, and enhance sustainability measures can mitigate climate-related disasters.

In other words, they want to monitor how much energy you are using.

If you use too much, lowering your “social credit score” will “inspire” you to use less energy.

The fifth reason they give is that digital identification that is tied “directly to digital wallets” will allow authorities to encourage people to fight “climate change”…

By offering rewards or subsidies directly to digital wallets, individuals are encouraged to invest in renewable energy, leading to broader adoption and increased participation in sustainable energy initiatives.

Ultimately, linking your financial life to your digital identification is such an important part of their program.

They will know what you buy, what you sell, and everything else that you are doing online.

In fact, eventually they want to make it impossible to conduct any commerce on the Internet at all unless you have digital identification.

They argue that forcing everyone to reveal who they really are will make the Internet “safer” for everyone.

But of course the potential for tyranny would be off the charts.

Once you have the ability to track the behavior of everyone on the planet and you also have the ability to exclude people that are unwilling to submit to your demands from the system, you would be able to exercise a level of control over the globe that is unprecedented in the entire history of humanity.
