We have not witnessed a showdown of this magnitude between the federal government and multiple state governments for a very long time.  During Joe Biden’s years in the White House, millions of migrants have come pouring over our wide open southern border, and now those migrants are absolutely overwhelming social services in large cities all over the nation.  What we are facing is truly a crisis of epic proportions, and the fact that the federal government has done nothing to address it has caused an immense amount of frustration in red states.  So when Texas Governor Greg Abbott decided to take a stand, nearly all other Republican governors eagerly embraced what he was doing.  The following comes from Newsweek…

On Thursday, 25 Republican governors backed Abbott and “Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself” against what he has referred to as a migrant “invasion” of his state. Some believe the situation is escalating towards a civil war.

The joint statement by the conservative governors reads: “We stand in solidarity with our fellow Governor, Greg Abbott, and the State of Texas in utilizing every tool and strategy, including razor wire fences, to secure the border.

“We do it in part because the Biden Administration is refusing to enforce immigration laws already on the books and is illegally allowing mass parole across America of migrants who entered our country illegally.”

As I discussed last week, the Biden administration gave officials in Texas an ultimatum.

They were given until Friday to “relent and allow federal agents inside Shelby Park”, but that demand was “forcefully rejected”…

Texas’ attorney general on Friday forcefully rejected a request from the Biden administration to grant federal immigration officials full access to a park along the southern border that the state National Guard has sealed off with razor wire, fencing and soldiers.

For three weeks, the federal government and Texas have clashed over Shelby Park, a city-owned public park in the border town of Eagle Pass that was once a busy area for illegal crossings by migrants. Texas National Guard soldiers deployed by Gov. Greg Abbott took control of Shelby Park earlier in January and have since prevented Border Patrol agents from processing migrants in the area, which once served as a makeshift migrant holding site for the federal agency.

The Department of Homeland Security, which oversees the Border Patrol, had given Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton until Friday to say the state would relent and allow federal agents inside Shelby Park. On Friday, however, Paxton rebuffed that demand, saying Texas state officials would not allow DHS to turn the area into an “unofficial and unlawful port of entry.”

So what happens now?

Well, the Biden administration could attempt to federalize the Texas National Guard.

But Texas Governor Greg Abbott says that he is “prepared” for such a move and he is warning that it would be “a total disaster” for Joe Biden…

Texas Governor Greg Abbott spoke with Tucker Carlson on Friday, telling him that he’s going to “do as much as possible to put up more border barriers and deny illegal entry,” and that “our head is down we are working regardless of what the Biden Administration is doing.”

Abbott told Carlson that he’s “prepared” in the event that Biden tries to take over the Texas National Guard.

“That would be a boneheaded move on his part, a total disaster,” he said. “We are prepared, in the event that that unlikely event does occur.”

“We do have other armed state employees on the border as we speak right this minute, and that’s the Texas Department of Public Safety, as well as other law enforcement officers, as well as national Guard from other states. And you can be assured there will be more national Guard from other states and more law enforcement officers within the state of Texas and other states.”

Of course it isn’t just National Guard troops from Texas that are down there.

National Guard troops and other security personnel from a number of other states have already been deployed to Texas, and more continue to arrive.

For example, Idaho Governor Brad Little just announced “that he plans to send more Idaho State Police troopers to the U.S.-Mexico border”…

Gov. Brad Little announced Friday that he plans to send more Idaho State Police troopers to the U.S.-Mexico border “to assist with securing our nation’s border,” as Texas is in the middle of a legal standoff with the federal government over border security.

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled earlier this week that federal agents have the authority to take down razor wire that Texas law enforcement agencies placed along the southern border in an attempt to keep migrants out of the country. Texas authorities have since occupied a public park near the Rio Grande River in an attempt to keep federal authorities out.

Texas’s actions have been supported by Little and a majority of Republican governors.

Meanwhile, a massive convoy of truckers will be departing for the southern border this week.

The following comes from a Vice article that is obviously not enthusiastic about what these truckers are trying to do…

A trucker convoy of “patriots” is heading to the U.S. border with Mexico next week, as the standoff between Texas and the federal government intensifies.

The organizers of the “Take Our Border Back” convoy have called themselves “God’s army” and say they’re on a mission to stand up against the “globalists” who they claim are conspiring to keep U.S. borders open and destroy the country.

“This is a biblical, monumental moment that’s been put together by God,” one convoy organizer said on a recent planning call. “We are besieged on all sides by dark forces of evil,” said another. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. It is time for the remnant to rise.” (The remnant, from the Book of Revelation, are the ones who remain faithful to Jesus Christ in times of crisis).

The convoy will leave Virginia Beach on Monday, and the plan is for it to arrive on the southern border in early February…

The organizers current plan is for the convoy to depart Virginia Beach on Monday and snake down through the southeast, stopping over in Jacksonville, Florida before making its way to several stops along the border. The convoy will then split up for separate rallies on Feb. 3, one near Eagle Pass, Texas, a second in Yuma, Arizona, and a third in San Ysidro, California.

A group of six patriot-world influencers, including Kim Yeater, who runs a self-empowerment self-help group and an anti-voter fraud group, started organizing the convoy around a month ago. “God’s army is rising up,” she said on the planning call. “We all have been chosen for this time.”

Hopefully the showdown that is developing on the border can be resolved through peaceful negotiations.

A “border deal” is being promoted as the solution by some members of Congress, but the deal that is on the table at the moment “would still allow as many as 150,000 illegal crossings per month”…

As Republican governors circle the wagon around Texas, President Biden on Saturday doubled down on a reluctant agreement to secure the southern US border – but only if if Congress passes a bipartisan bill that would also allocate funds for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, and would still allow as many as 150,000 illegal crossings per month.

Needless to say, that is not even close to acceptable.

Of course it is unlikely that Joe Biden will ever agree to a deal that actually secures the border.

At the same time that negotiations over a “border deal” are taking place, Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives are getting ready to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas…

House Republicans on Sunday released two articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas as they vowed to swiftly push forward with election-year efforts to oust him over what they call his failure to manage the U.S.-Mexico border. The rare step against a Cabinet member drew outrage from Democrats and the agency as a politically motivated stunt lacking the constitutional basis to remove Mayorkas from office.

Republicans contend Mayorkas is guilty of “high crimes and misdemeanors” that amount to a “willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law” on immigration and a “breach of the public trust.” Impeachment, they say, is “Congress’s only viable option.”

It will be interesting to see if this actually happens.

The Republicans have a razor thin majority in the House, and so they would only be able to lose a few votes and still succeed in impeaching Mayorkas.

Before I end this article, there is one more thing that I wanted to mention.

A group of former intelligence officials has sent a letter to Congress warning about the tsunami of “military aged men from across the globe” that has been coming across our wide open southern border…

Ten retired FBI directors and experts in counter-intelligence warned Congress that the border crisis under President Joe Biden has allowed “military aged men from across the globe” to easily enter the United States. The Ex-FBI officials declared that the U.S. is “extraordinarily less safe and secure” because of the invasion.

Ten notable former FBI officials wrote a letter to congressional leaders warning that the country is facing a “new and imminent danger” because of the flood of illegal immigrants across the southern border.

“As former senior executives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation with deep experience combatting dangers to the nation, we write to express our concern about a current, specific threat that may be one of the most pernicious ever to menace the United States,” the letter began.

Personally, I am deeply concerned about the thousands upon thousands of “military aged men” from China that have been coming across.

Often, they come across in large groups with matching shoes and matching backpacks.

Are the Chinese pre-positioning assets because they realize that a war between the U.S. and China is rapidly approaching?

The way that the Biden administration has been handling the crisis on the southern border is truly a massive threat to our national security.

Vast hordes of “military aged men” from China, the Middle East and elsewhere have already poured over the border, and at this point nobody knows where they have gone or what they are preparing to do.

Okay, so they want us to believe that the U.S. economy grew at a very brisk pace during the fourth quarter of 2023 even though mass layoffs are happening all over America, sales of previously owned homes are at the lowest level in 28 years, homelessness is rising at the fastest pace ever recorded, and survey after survey is showing that most Americans are just barely scraping by from month to month.  Needless to say, something does not add up.  The American people are deeply frustrated with how the economy is performing, but the government keeps giving us numbers that indicate that everything is just great.  On Thursday, we were told that the U.S. economy grew at a 3.3 percent annualized rate during the fourth quarter of 2023…

The economy grew at a much more rapid pace than expected while inflation eased in the final three months of 2023, as the U.S. easily skirted a recession that many forecasters had thought was inevitable, the Commerce Department reported Thursday.

Gross domestic product, a measure of all the goods and services produced, increased at a 3.3% annualized rate in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to data adjusted seasonally and for inflation.

That compared with the Wall Street consensus estimate for a gain of 2% in the final three months of the year.

If that number actually reflected reality, it would be very good news.

But how is it possible that layoffs were up 98 percent in 2023 while the U.S. economy was supposedly “growing” all year long?

To me, it appears that something fishy is going on.

And that is precisely what we see when we take a deeper look at the numbers.  According to Zero Hedge, “GDP-boosting gimmicks” are being employed to make things look better than they actually are…

Turning to the all important consumption, we can’t help but smile when noticing that the BEA is again resorting to such favorite GDP-boosting gimmicks of the old Obama administration as spending on healthcare and… RVs! The two contributed to roughly half the growth in consumer spending in the fourth quarter.

Other numbers that don’t come from the Biden administration tell a much different story.

For example, the Chicago Fed’s National Activity Index was negative in December, and it has been negative for 8 of the past 12 months…

Against expectations of a small rise from 0.03 to 0.06, The Chicago Fed’s National Activity Index (which draws on 85 economic indicators) tumbled to -0.15 in December. 2023 ends with 8 of the 12 months in negative territory…

So how in the world can the economy be “growing” if national economic activity was in negative territory for two-thirds of last year?

It doesn’t make any sense at all.

And if the outlook for the future is positive, why are so many mass layoffs happening?

Business Insider had already conducted one round of mass layoffs, but they just decided that another round has become necessary…

In the latest wave of layoffs to hit the digital media biz, Business Insider said it will cut 8% of its staff in a restructuring aimed at positioning the company for growth.

Business Insider CEO Barbara Peng announced the job cuts in a memo to staffers Thursday. “We have already begun to refocus teams and invest in areas that drive outsize value for our core audience. Unfortunately, this also means we need to scale back in some areas of our organization,” she wrote.

Back when it first started, Business Insider was actually quite good.

But those days are long gone.

Microsoft is another big name that is putting large numbers of workers on the chopping block…

Microsoft will lay off 1,900 employees at Activision Blizzard and Xbox, the latest tech company to announce cuts so far in 2024.

The layoffs represent about an 8% cut of its video gaming staff of 22,000 workers and come months after Microsoft acquired Activision in a blockbuster deal. The $69 billion transaction in October represented one of the largest tech deals in history as Microsoft took over the studios behind bestselling games like Call of Duty, Diablo and Overwatch for its Xbox console.

And even though things are looking up for IBM these days, they are planning job cuts too…

IBM also said it will also cut a percentage of positions in the low single digits in 2024.

The planned job cuts follow similar announcements in January by major tech companies, including Alphabet’s Google and Amazon.com.

Chief financial officer James Kavanaugh said IBM will likely spend the same amount on restructuring as it did in 2023 – US$400 million – when it reduced its workforce by about 3,900 jobs.

Day after day, I share examples of very large companies that are conducting mass layoffs.

Why would they be doing this if tremendous prosperity is ahead of us?

It wouldn’t make any sense at all.

Of course the truth is that an economic downturn has already begun and it is going to get even deeper in 2024.

Those on the bottom of the economic food chain are being hit the hardest.  Earlier today, I was saddened to read about homeless people in California that are being evicted from caves that they had dug into the banks of a river…

Rough sleepers in California were found living inside furnished caves dug into the banks of a river 20 feet below street level.

The groups were removed from the eight caves – along the Tuolumne River in Modesto – over the weekend, and they were emptied of belongings, furniture and 7,600 lbs of rubbish, filling two trucks and a trailer.

Some of the caves were decorated with murals, had broken floor tiles and one even had a makeshift fireplace with a chimney.

There are countless others just like them all over the country.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that homelessness was rising at the fastest pace ever recorded in 2023.

But don’t worry about any of that.

According to Joe Biden and his minions, the U.S. economy is growing steadily and everything is just great.

Are we headed for a major constitutional crisis?  Texas Governor Greg Abbott is not backing down, and a whole bunch of other red states have publicly announced that they support what he is doing.  In response, the Biden administration has reportedly issued a 24 hour ultimatum and is warning that Texas will “face the consequences” if the Texas National Guard does not stand down.  I honestly do not remember the last time we witnessed a conflict of this magnitude between the federal government and a state government.  Of course none of this is going to be good for Biden’s chances of winning in November, because there will be a constant focus on the border until this standoff is resolved.

Following the Supreme Court’s stunning decision in favor of the Biden administration, Texas Governor Greg Abbott invoked the right to self-defense in Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution…

After the Supreme Court vacated an injunction against the Biden administration cutting razor wire along the US-Mexico border installed by the state of Texas, Governor Greg Abbott has declared an “invasion” and invoked the right to “self-defense.”

“The failure of the Biden administration to fulfill the duties imposed by Article IV section 4 has triggered Article 1, section 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense,” Abbott said. “For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, section 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself.”

It would have probably been smart for Joe Biden to just let this go.

But that wasn’t going to happen.

The Biden administration appears to be determined to keep the border wipe open, and reporter Simon Ateba is telling us that Biden has given Abbott “until tomorrow to allow federal agents to cut swaths of razor wire installed at the southern border”…

NOTE: Biden can federalize Texas National Guard leaving Abbott with no power to resist federal might.

NOTE: However, this is typically done in specific circumstances and with legal justifications, such as responding to a national emergency or protecting federal interests.

If Abbott does not comply, what will Biden do?

Will he invade Texas?

Of course not.

But Biden could attempt to federalize the Texas National Guard.

So what would happen if some or all of those troops refused to follow Biden’s orders?

This whole situation could potentially get really crazy.

Needless to say, Donald Trump was going to have something to say about all of this.

He is calling for all “willing states to deploy their [national guard] to Texas” in order to help protect the border.

Ultimately, this is not just a showdown between Joe Biden and Texas.

Reporter Bill Melugin has posted a long list of red states that have publicly announced that they are standing with the Lone Star State…

Since he posted that list, Arkansas, Iowa, Mississippi and Wyoming have also come on board.

And it is now being reported that “25 Republican governors just signed a joint letter” in support of Texas.

Conservatives all over the nation have had enough.

Millions of people have been pouring over our wide open borders, and this has created a crisis of epic proportions.

What most Americans don’t realize is that NGOs that are funded with your tax dollars are helping migrants travel to our southern border.

Once they are processed at the border, billions of your tax dollars are being used to resettle them in communities all across America…

A U.S. federal government agency spent $20 billion in 2022 and 2023 on refugee resettlement as the number of migrants entering the country reached record levels.

The nonprofit OpenTheBooks released a report that found the U.S. agency Office of Refugee Resettlement spent the money as the number of migrant encounters at the border reached 2.5 million in 2023.

The Office of Refugee Resettlement spent $8.9 billion in fiscal year 2022 and $10.9 billion in fiscal year 2023, according to OpenTheBooks’ report.

I don’t even have the words to describe how massive this crisis is, and our own money is being used to fund it.

And once they arrive in communities all over the nation, the new arrivals are overwhelming systems that we all depend upon.

For example, Denver Health has been losing millions upon millions of dollars because so many migrants are using health services that they cannot pay for…

Denver Health CEO Donna Lynne warned the center is in a crucial moment due to unexpected costs associated with immigrant visits.

What I think is not being said is that Denver Health is at a critical, critical point and that we need to take this up in 2024,” Lynne told the Denver City Council, according to the Denver Post.

Eight-thousand migrants from Central America accounted for approximately 20,000 visits in 2023. Denver Health asked the Federal Emergency Management Agency to provide funds for immigrants’ medical costs. The state and federal governments aren’t reimbursing the hospital, which spent $136 million for patients who didn’t pay.

There are hundreds of millions of people all over the globe that would love to relocate here.

But we simply do not have the resources to support them all.

Those that wish to live in the United States are supposed to go through the legal system of immigration.

That is how it is supposed to work.

But instead, the Biden administration has left the back door completely wide open, and now millions of desperate people are pouring into this country each year.

The stage is being set for unprecedented chaos in our major cities, and our federal government will not be able to control it.

We live in an environment of complete and utter lawlessness.  When predators boldly roam the streets without fear but good people are literally afraid to leave their own homes, that is clearly a sign that our societal collapse has reached a very advanced stage.  Even in the rare instances when they are actually caught and convicted, our system will still often allow violent criminals to go free.  For example, a woman in California that was convicted of stabbing her boyfriend more than 100 times was given a sentence that didn’t include even a single day in prison…

The family of a man who was murdered by his date after she stabbed him more than 100 times has voiced their outrage after the California woman was sentenced to just 100 hours of community service with no jailtime.

Bryn Spejcher, 33, was given the lenient sentence after psychiatrists said the incident was ‘100 percent’ caused by cannabis-induced psychosis, which she suffered after taking two hits of the victim’s bong.

The judge ruled Ms Spejcher ‘experienced a psychotic break from reality’ and ‘had no control over her actions’ when she killed Chad O’Melia, who was 26 years old at the time of his death, on Memorial Day weekend 2018.

This is America now.

Our major cities have become places where literally anything goes, and that is particularly true for members of Generation Z.

In fact, one recent survey discovered that about one-third of that entire generations openly admits that “they shoplift while cashing out at self-check”…

More than half of Gen Z shoppers prefer self-checkout lines — and would even switch their store of choice for the ease of self-serve kiosks, according to new data from Avery Dennison — but it’s not necessarily because they’re independent or introverted.

In fact, one-third of the young shoppers admitted that they shoplift while cashing out at self-check.

According to a recent LendingTree survey of 2,000 Americans, nearly half of Gen Z respondents said they steal the most expensive item from their cart, while only 37% said they would only lift necessities.

This is one of the reasons why self-checkout lanes are now being taken out at stores all over the nation.

I certainly won’t miss self-checkout lanes.

Honestly, I am not fond of them at all.

Of course taking away self-checkout options won’t do much to stop the tsunami of theft that we are witnessing from coast to coast.

In Oakland, the very first In-N-Out Burger location ever established is being closed down because the crime in that particular neighborhood never stops…

The In-N-Out slated for closure is in a busy business corridor that attracts travelers headed to the airport and baseball fans who attend A’s games at the Coliseum. Since 2019, police have logged 1,335 incidents in the vicinity of the restaurant on Oakport Street — more than any other location in Oakland, the newspaper reported.

They were far more patient than I would have been.

Needless to say, I wouldn’t have waited for 1,335 crimes to be committed before shutting that restaurant down.

In San Francisco, KPMG is actually moving out of the KPMG building because conditions in the city have deteriorated so dramatically…

Accounting firm KPMG is set to move out of its $400 million namesake building, another high-profile exit from San Francisco’s beleaguered downtown.

The consulting and accounting giant first leased space in the 25-story office tower when the building opened in 2002. Its name hangs above the entry to the skyscraper where the company currently occupies more than 100,000 square feet.

It comes as shoe store Alto prepares to exit San Francisco Centre, the city’s biggest mall, next week.

Businesses and residents have fled downtown San Francisco since the pandemic with groups blaming crime, homelessness and work-from-home keeping people from downtown.

A Washington D.C. CVS store is shutting its doors after being repeatedly ransacked by thieves, the chain has confirmed.

The pharmacy, located in the Columbia Heights neighborhood, went viral last October when videos emerged of it totally stripped of all its products after being targeted by a teen gang.

Staff claim more than 45 schoolkids would go into the store and steal chips and drinks in the morning, after their classes and late at night. It will close on February 29, according to WTTG-TV.

A disturbing image shows the moment Grace Point Church pastor Nick Davi, 46, was fatally shot by his female neighbor Joe Junio, 36, who also wounded his wife Sarah Davi on December 29.

The shooting happened after Junio had allegedly harassed the family for weeks, throwing feces on their backyard, flooding their home, and issuing threats after the Davis complained to the gated community’s homeowner’s association.

Survival Gardening Hacks| 6 Simple Tips To Top Tier Tomatoes

In my article, 8 Baking Soda Uses For Your Survival Garden To Try, I listed a tomato plant hack using baking soda. Since that article’s publication, survival gardeners have been inquiring about additional gardening tips and hacks.

The one plant that has been inquired about the most? You guessed it—the tomato plant! In this article, I will share with you additional and all-natural hacks for your beautiful tomato plants. Let’s begin!

1. Plant Deep

Due to the root system of a single tomato plant potentially becoming quite large, my suggestion is to give them plenty of space in between plants to allow for deep root systems to develop.

To give you an idea of how deep their root systems can potentially be, the root system of a seed-grown tomato plant can develop a taproot system of up to 5 feet deep!

Starter plants can have root systems up to 3 feet deep and the roots are also more spread out than a taproot system. Planting deep and giving each tomato plant adequate space (from each other or from other plants) is key for a nice and healthy tomato plant.

2. Cow Manure

Cow manure is magic to any garden! This hack is known to grow large tomatoes and has been used for years by farmers and gardeners alike.

After you dig deep holes for your tomato plants, you cover the bottom of each hole with a layer of cow manure.

Next, add about ¼ inch of sawdust on top of the cow manure, then add more soil on top of the sawdust. Finally, plant your tomato plant.

3. Epsom Salt

Epsom salt is rich in magnesium and produces plentiful results for tomatoes, peppers, and other blooming plants. Add 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt for every 1 gallon of water. Spray this mixture onto your tomato plants every 1-2 weeks.

For this hack, I personally recommend spraying more towards the bottom of the stem and soil area and not directly on the leaves and the actual tomatoes.

4. Eggshells and Coffee

This is what some gardeners call “direct composting” which means you will add composting materials directly to the plant instead of the composting bin.

Coffee grounds will add nitrogen to the soil surrounding the tomato plant. Next time you have your morning coffee, save the coffee grounds.

Sprinkle an adequate amount of cooled coffee grounds to the soil about once every 1-2 weeks. Eggshells give any plant a nice calcium boost.

Simply sprinkle a ⅛  – ¼ inch layer of crushed eggshells into the soil surrounding the plant. After the shells start to decompose into the soil, it is safe to repeat this process as often as you like.

The combo of the coffee grounds and eggshells will give you a beautiful and healthy tomato plant! For more information on composting, check out my article Composting For Beginners | The Building Blocks To A Better Harvest.

5. Raw Cotton

This is becoming quite popular with gardeners! The purpose of this technique is to hold the soil in place – a mulching technique of sorts.

Gardeners swear by this and state that their tomato plants thrive! If you have access to a cotton gin or know someone with a cotton field, collect the cotton needed (after acquiring permission, of course) and simply place the cotton on the soil surrounding the plant.

6. Fish

This an old Native American technique and is another great example of direct composting. Fish will provide calcium, nitrogen, phosphorus, and other vitamins and minerals for your tomato plants. Using this technique will make them flourish!

Fish heads are most commonly used for this technique. After you dig the deep holes for each of your tomato plants you just simply drop the fish head in and cover with a good amount of soil. You then add your tomato plant.

So there you have it! Simple yet effective survival gardening hacks for growing a perfect tomato plant. Since most are natural, you wouldn’t have to worry about chemicals getting into your tomato. The United States and the United Kingdom have decided to announce the continued strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen. This comes after the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has said that American bombers are continuing to strike Houthi installations in Yemen.

This is also the second time British bombers have taken part in the operation, now known as “Poseidon Archer”. Royal Air Force (RAF) jets based in Cyprus had been involved in the January 11 attack, while the US used cruise missiles and aircraft from the USS Eisenhower. Since then, the US has carried out six more strikes on its own, reportedly targeting Houthi missiles as they prepared to launch, according to a report by RT. 

US and UK forces “conducted strikes on 8 Houthi targets” in Yemen just before midnight on Monday, CENTCOM said on X (formerly Twitter). “The targets included missile systems and launchers, air defense systems, radars, and deeply buried weapons storage facilities.”

CENTCOM has further accused the Houthis of “reckless and unlawful attacks on US and UK ships as well as international commercial shipping in the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, and the Gulf of Aden.”

Earlier on Monday, CNN reported that the Pentagon named the strike mission Operation Neptune Archer, suggesting a long-term US commitment to bombing the Houthis. The Washington Post reported over the weekend that the US objective was to “degrade and destroy their capabilities,” citing officials who wanted to remain anonymous.

The Houthis announced in late October that they would strike all Israeli-linked shipping in the Red Sea until the blockade of Gaza is lifted, and have since targeted several merchant vessels. After the January 11th strikes, they expanded the target list to British and American ships as well.

Sociopath Bill Gates is not giving up and intends to get his injections into as many human beings as possible. The propagandist has been using the climate summit in Africa to market his “vaccines” to the people living there.

In a speech earlier this year at the Adaptation Finance Summit for Africa, Bill Gates again took the opportunity to market his vaccines. “We all know that malnutrition is a scourge,” he started.  And then within a few words switched into his sales pitch for vaccines. “At the turn of the century, many people realized that we had vaccines that could save lives,” he said, but they were not getting to the children in poorer nations who needed them most.

He said a great number of leaders decided to support the endeavor, according to a report by The Daily Exposé.  “But it’s not the funding that’s exciting.  What’s exciting is what resulted …. I don’t think we can celebrate it enough.”

Gates also funds studies that give the outcome he wants for his vaccine agenda.

He’s tying everything into climate change too to attempt to control the population through all of these hot-button issues.

“My personal engagement with climate uh started uh because I was spending time in Africa talking to Farmers about the challenges they faced … the impact of a bad harvest is malnutrition, its immiseration,” Gates said. “We all know that malnutrition is a scourge … malnourishment is a factor in the majority of developing world deaths and so it’s through this vector that the deep inequity of climate change takes place.”

Gates’ solution for malnutrition is “global health” in the form of taking as many of his injections as he can convince you to take. But in reality, this is just another scam for a billionaire to amass the wealth of those who have very little as he kills them off. In fact, Gates and his fellow scumbags earn $20 from each dollar invested in “vaccines”.

Gates began his sales pitch by saying: “At the turn of the century, many uh people realized uh that uh we had vaccines that could save lives and they were getting to the rich country but not to the children who needed them most.”

Gates is also invested in the highly processed plant food/fake meat market, which has been shown to have incredibly negative health effects on human beings.

Good thing a lot of people are waking up and seeing people like Gates and the raving lunatic sociopaths that they truly are.

How does it feel to have the largest government that the planet has ever seen?  When I was growing up, I was taught that we had a capitalist system and that we had a limited federal government.  Of course neither of those things has been true for a very long time.  Today, the United States has the biggest government in the history of the world, and it gets even bigger with each passing year.  Running that gigantic government requires more money than we actually have, and so we are going into staggering amounts of debt.  But there is no way that our politicians will ever agree to reduce the size of the federal government to an appropriate size.  So we are stuck with this system until the day when it finally collapses.

Let me give you some numbers that illustrate what I am talking about.

-Approximately 3 million people work directly for the federal government.

-The federal government spent 6.13 trillion dollars in 2023.  That figure is larger than the GDP of every nation on the entire planet except for the U.S. and China.

-More than 70 million Americans are on Social Security.

-More than 65 million Americans are on Medicare.

-More than 81 million Americans are on Medicaid.

-More than 41 million Americans are on food stamps.

Of course there are many more programs that hand out money to the population on a regular basis.

We have reached a stage where most U.S. households are at least partially dependent on the federal government.

We very much prefer not to call ourselves “socialists”, but that is precisely what we are.  Sadly, if we attempted to go back to the way things were 100 years ago, most Americans would not know how to survive.

The massively bloated federal government that so many of us depend upon constantly consumes enormous mountains of money.

We cannot provide enough money to keep it going, and so the federal government has been piling up insane amounts of debt.

Since 1980, the size of the U.S. national debt has gone from 1 trillion dollars to 34 trillion dollars.

The combined wealth of Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Ken Griffin, Mark Cuban, Ray Dalio and George Soros would not be enough to even pay the interest on our national debt for a single year…

The combined net worth of the most prominent billionaires in the United States would not be enough to pay a single year’s interest payment on America’s ballooning national debt, which currently stands at an astonishing $34 trillion.

The combined net worth of some of America’s most prominent billionaires, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Ken Griffin, Mark Cuban, Ray Dalio, and George Soros, adds up to approximately $726 billion according to data compiled by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Meanwhile, the net interest on our national debt is currently at $730.8 billion, dwarfing the sum for previous years.

We are now at a point where the national debt has become a major national crisis, and the percentage of Americans that believe that our politicians should do something about this has been going up…

A 2023 Pew Research Center survey found that 57% of Americans said reducing the budget deficit should be a top priority for the president and Congress, up from 45% the year prior.

But the politicians in Washington don’t have the stomach to do anything about the wild spending.

They know that if we tried to live within our means, it would instantly plunge the U.S. economy into a horrifying economic depression.

And voters wouldn’t like that at all.

So instead they are just going to try to keep the party going for as long as they can.

In fact, the size of the federal deficit in December was 52 percent larger than for the same month a year earlier…

The U.S. federal government posted a December deficit of $129 billion, up $44 billion or 52% from a year earlier as outlays rose while receipts fell from December 2022 levels that were swelled by pandemic-deferred tax payments, the U.S. Treasury Department said on Thursday.

The Treasury said that outlays for December rose 3% to $559 billion, a December record, partly as a result of higher Social Security outlays and interest on the public debt. Receipts for the month fell 6% to $429 billion.

America’s “empire of money” really has reached the endgame.

Our debt spiral is out of control, our currency is rapidly losing value, and everyone can see that our entire system will inevitably collapse.

But for the moment, the talking heads on television continue to tell everyone that our leaders know exactly what they are doing, and millions of people actually believe that nonsense.

Old symbols were used before the stars and stripes flew over this great land.

The ones adopted before Old Glory became the official flag of the union.

These were the symbols and flags that captured the true spirit of the American colonies.

Representing the essence of the struggle for independence from British rule’s tyranny.

So today, we’ll discuss one symbolic message – Don’t Tread On Me – and one flag in particular:

The Gadsden Flag.

We’ll cover in detail what this flag is, what it represents, how it came to be, and how it’s used today.

↓ The Origins Of The Gadsden Flag

Many find it surprising that a rattlesnake was the symbol used by the early colonies.

What does a rattlesnake have to do with America and American ideals?

Aside from it being indigenous to the original 13 colonies, more than you think…

In 1754 Benjamin Franklin printed the first political cartoon in an American newspaper.

The cartoon depicts a rattlesnake cut up into eight separate pieces.

Each section represents the initial eight colonies, with New England at the head and South Carolina at the tail.

Below, this image includes the words “Join or Die.”

This was a public call for the unification of the colonies years before the Revolution.

The symbol was used again to call for unification against the tyranny of British rule.

In 1774, a year before the Revolution began, Paul Revere adopted Franklin’s cartoon.

He used it in the nameplate of his newspaper, the Massachusetts Spy.

This symbolism represented the colonies as fractured entities.

Ones must come together to unite against tyranny or die.

While the symbol of a healthy, whole, and deadly rattlesnake ready to strike soon became the new colonial symbol.

The Gadsden Flag Meaning

One of the most common of these early rattlesnake flags was The Gadsden Flag.

It depicts a coiled rattlesnake – ready to strike – on a background of yellow.

It also includes the words: Don’t Tread On Me in bold letters below the image.

Benjamin Franklin’s Contribution

No discussion of the American Revolution is complete without bringing Benjamin Franklin into the conversation.

Benjamin Franklin was not one to mince words or sugar-coat anything.

For example, he once described the rattlesnake as the perfect symbol of our new national character:

“ …it occurred to me that the Rattle-Snake is found in no other quarter of the world besides America, and may, therefore, have been chosen, on that account, to represent her.

But then “the worldly properties” of a Snake I judged would be hard to point out. This rather raised than suppressed my curiosity, and having frequently seen the Rattle-Snake, I ran over in my mind every property by which she was distinguished, not only from other animals but from those of the same genus or class of animals, endeavoring to fix some meaning to each, not wholly inconsistent with common sense.

I recollected that her eye excelled in brightness, that of any other animal, and that she has no eye-lids. She may therefore be esteemed an emblem of vigilance. She never begins an attack, nor, when once engaged, ever surrenders: She is therefore an emblem of magnanimity and true courage. As if anxious to prevent all pretensions of quarreling with her, the weapons with which nature has furnished her, she conceals in the roof of her mouth, so that, to those who are unacquainted with her, she appears to be a most defenseless animal; and even when those weapons are shown and extended for her defense, they appear weak and contemptible; but their wounds however small, are decisive and fatal. Conscious of this, she never wounds ’till she has generously given notice, even to her enemy, and cautioned him against the danger of treading on her.

Was I wrong, Sir, in thinking this a strong picture of the temper and conduct of America? The poison of her teeth is the necessary means of digesting her food, and at the same time is certain destruction to her enemies. This may be understood to intimate that those things which are destructive to our enemies, may be to us not only harmless, but absolutely necessary to our existence. I confess I was wholly at a loss what to make of the rattles, ’till I went back and counted them and found them just thirteen, exactly the number of the Colonies united in America”

The image of the rattlesnake before the bald eagle symbolized the early colonies. It came to symbolize extreme vigilance.

To be defensive by default but poised to strike quickly with lethality when threatened.

Other Variations Of The Gadsden Flag

There were many flags in that area with the rattlesnake theme.

Even some wording variations, such as – Join or Die.

A South Carolina politician, Christopher Gadsden, gets credit with the first official Gadsden Flag design.

But, the evolution of the flag followed many paths.

In 1775 the Second Continental Congress authorized the mustering of 5 companies of Marines.

These Marines were to go with the Colonial Navy on their first mission.

These first Marines in the city of Philadelphia carried drums.

These drums were yellow with a coiled rattlesnake with thirteen rattles.

It also included the motto “Don’t Tread on Me.”

This is the first recorded mention of the future flag’s symbolism.

Colonel Gadsden was one of seven members of the Marine Committee whose first departure was December 1775.

On this departure, the commander-in-chief of the Navy, Commodore Esek Hopkins, received the yellow rattlesnake flag from Colonel Gadsden.

This design was to serve as the distinctive personal standard of his flagship.

It was displayed at the mainmast, and this was the first appearance of the true Gadsden Flag.

Commodore Hopkins was very familiar with the rattlesnake symbolism.

The 1775 flag featured a coiled timber rattlesnake and the motto “Do Not Tread on Me.”

Along with an anchor, cannons, and the motto “In God, We Hope” on a gold background.

Gadsden’s flag, presented to the Commander of the Continental Navy, is a simplified version of that design.

Gadsden also presented a copy of this flag to the Congress of South Carolina in Charleston.

This was recorded in the South Carolina congressional journals on February 9, 1776:

Colonel Gadsden presented to the Congress an elegant standard, such as is to be used by the commander in chief of the American Navy, being a yellow field, with a lively representation of a rattlesnake in the middle in the attitude of going to strike and these words underneath, Don’t Tread On Me.

The Culpeper Minute Men

Other variations on rattlesnake-themed flags include the flag used by the Culpepper Minutemen.

It had a coiled rattlesnake and the same motto as the Gadsden flag.

It has a white field, rather than yellow, and the added motto “Liberty or Death” and the name “The Culpeper Minute Men.”

It’s the flag of Virginia volunteers from the Culpeper area.

The rattlesnake symbol was also approved for the official Seal of the War Office.

Which was the Headquarters of the Army, by the Continental Congress in 1778.

At the top center of the Seal is a rattlesnake holding a banner that says: “This We’ll Defend.”

This signifies the Army’s constant readiness to defend and preserve the Nation.

This design of the War Office Seal was carried forward with some minor modifications.

It also had later designs for the War Department’s Seal and the Department of the Army’s Seal, Emblem, and Flag.

As such, the rattlesnake symbol has been in continuous official use by the US Army for over 236 years.

The Flags Resurgence

Aside from the rattlesnake for the Revolution, the Gadsden flag has resurged.

It’s become a symbol of American patriotism.

It’s a way to signal disagreement with government control and support civil liberties.

The imagery of the deadly rattlesnake, defensive yet coiled, is powerful even today.

It’s been adopted by many groups throughout the years.

Most of these groups have appealed to the original intent of the flag as a way to show injustice.

Injustices, such as a Government growing too large and becoming too corrupt.

One that burdens the population with excessive taxation for pork-barrel whims.

Or one too willing to restrict or even subvert our natural liberties.

It is easy to lose sight of the purpose of the flag in those early days.

Many today think of it as protesting a foreign government. But one must remember the government in 1775 was our very own.

The colonies were a British possession and subjects of the King.

When the flag first sailed on a colonial warship, it was not a ship of the United States.

It was a ship of a rebel force attacking its corrupt rulers.

The states did not unify and declare independence until July of 1776.

The Gadsden flag has its roots in rebellion.

That’s why today, it’s still a symbol of rebellion, even against our government.

Libertarians, civil rights groups, and, most recently, the Tea Party are currently using the symbol.

These groups use it to help bolster their respective messages.

The Gadsden was an early flag of the colonies; its purpose and message were directed inward rather than outward.

Corrupt governments must fear the rattlesnake’s bite.

However, Old Glory, the Star-Spangled Banner, is a far more fitting representation of a nation trying to establish itself.

Its message is not one of warning against internal tyranny but of unification.

It’s far more fitting and proper for an emblem to represent other nations.

The Gadsden flag speaks to the power and position of the individual rather than the nation.

The imagery suggests a large power treading on the lowly, yet dangerous, rattlesnake.

In 1775 it was appropriate to portray the colonies as small entities tread upon by a more powerful force.

But, in today’s world – who now represents that powerful force?

Don’t Tread On Me Meaning Today

Sure, the United States still faces serious external threats from abroad.

But it’s not conceivable to consider our great nation as being “tread upon” by these threats.

The Gadsden Flag reminds us that the giant doing the treading is our government.

It’s the current large force now treading upon her citizens.

The Gadsden Flag perfectly represents the vigilant, liberty-loving People of the United States.

A people that warn its government and its leaders to respect their rights as human beings.

Americans threw off the shackles of government oppression in the Revolutionary War.

It’s a symbolic reminder that if the US government betrays its People, the revolutionary spirit will rise again.

The rattlesnake will strike, and this banner will fly before the People’s wrath.

I think Thomas Jefferson said it best:

“Where the People fear Government is tyranny, where the Government fears the People is Liberty.”

In mid-December, Medscape published an article titled ‘Why Are Prion Diseases on the Rise?’.  In it, the author stated that cases of CJD are increasing in the USA, and “it’s been a while since I’ve seen people discussing the condition.”  We beg to differ.

Since a month after the rollout of the covid injections, prion diseases have been discussed, repeatedly.  It is perhaps a question of who you talk to.

With prion diseases, the pathogen involved is not a bacterium, parasite, or virus, but a protein.  Prions, short for proteinaceous infectious particles, are misfolded proteins that aggregate in cells.

The misfolded protein catalyses the conversion of its non-misfolded counterpart into the misfolded configuration creating a chain reaction, leading to rapid accumulation of misfolded proteins and cell death.

In December, Medscape published a useful video, with a transcript, in an article titled ‘Why Are Prion Diseases on the Rise?’.  It discussed the increasing number of deaths in the USA caused by the prion-induced disease Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (“CJD”), or human mad cow disease, from 1990 to the end of 2020.  Below is an excerpt from the article authored by F. Perry Wilson, an associate professor of medicine and public health and director of Yale’s Clinical and Translational Research Accelerator.

Sporadic CJD [is] responsible for 85% of all cases of prion-induced brain disease.  The cause of sporadic CJD is unknown.

But one thing is known: Cases are increasing.

I don’t want you to freak out; we are not in the midst of a CJD epidemic. But it’s been a while since I’ve seen people discussing the condition.

“It’s been a while since I’ve seen people discussing the condition,” the author wrote.  Although “a while” and “people” can be subjective – in other words, how long is a while and which people have not been discussing it – it’s clear the author hasn’t been following independent scientists and independent media.  Perhaps because his data ends before the ill effects of the mass COVID-19 injection campaign could be measured, he feels he doesn’t need to.

On 8 December 2020, the United Kingdom became the first country in the world to begin injecting its public with the experimental COVID-19 injection.  By 27 January 2021, Dr. Richard Fleming was warning of prion diseases being caused by the spike protein that is coded in the COVID-19 “vaccines.”

Dr, Fleming is an American Nuclear and Preventive Cardiologist and has degrees in Physics, Biology, Psychology, and Chemistry.

On 3 March 2021, Dr. Fleming appeared on a UK independent outlet The Bases Project to present his findings on SARS-CoV-2.

During his presentation, Dr. Fleming briefly commented on the coronavirus spike protein that was peculiar to SARS-CoV-2 and the spike protein that is encoded in the COVID vaccines, a subject he had previously discussed in a video on 27 January 2021.

During his Bases Project presentation (see video below), Dr Fleming said that there are three modifications to the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 “that we know of.”

“One is the HIV pseudovirus glycoprotein 120 [gp120] … [Another is] the Proline-Arginine-Arginine-Alanine or the P-R-R-A … so those are the four amino acids inserted and that amino acid insert is found in no other coronavirus on planet Earth except this man-made spike protein.  It is however found in rabies virus; it’s found in HIV and it’s found in Cobra toxin.

“[And the third is] something called a prion-like domain … and we know that that prion-like domain has been associated with animal studies causing mice exposed to the spike protein … crosses the blood-brain barrier exquisitely – in fact, it looks like it’s well designed to cross the blood-brain barrier – and it produces amyloid deposits and Lewy bodies … It also produces things like amyloidosis … [which has] severe long-term sequelae and potentially short-term sequelae [such as] Parkinsonian and neurologic disorders … There is real evidence showing that in humanized mice that this prion-like domain produces spongiform encephalopathy or what the general public refers to as mad cow disease.”

“Mad cow disease” or spongiform encephalopathy is also known as CJD.

On 5 June 2021, Dr. Fleming presented ‘Event 2021:The Published Science on SARS-CoV-2 & COVID-19. Virus, Vaccines, Treatments.  The entire presentation is four-and-a-half hours in length.  The original video has been split into 15 shorter parts for easier consumption.

During the first and second parts, he explained the make-up and origins of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein including who was involved and who funded its creation.  As he has done many times, he again mentioned prion diseases induced by the spike protein.
